What was the purpose of the founding of these United States of America and the creation of our Constitution? Before the migration from Europe to this newly discovered land, all people of the civilized world were ruled by Kings. Even the original thirteen established states of this new land were ruled, as a colony, by the King of England.

Then something very profound and monumental took place, Independence was declared and the American Revolution was underway, a war for the freedom of man insued. A group of men bent on their desire to be free and rule themselves in a land where the government answered to the people and not the people answering to the King and his court, rose up and risked their lives and fortunes in an attempt to end government dictating to, taxing at will, and over regulating the people. Through the shedding of their blood and fortune the American Constitutional Republic was born, an experiment in self government. As you know the opening shot fired in that revolution was called “the shot heard round the world.” It was so called because it was a rebellion against, not only the King of England, but against mankind being ruled by kings.

Kings and dictatorial leaders all over the world heard that shot. They heard the shot that proclaimed that men were now in rebellion to being subjects of a government, or king, and willing to challenge it.

We Americans celebrate on July 4 every year, the marking of American independence from England and its king, a very radical departure from governments which prevailed all over, “round the world,” at that time, and for thousands of years before. Never before in those thousands of years had the rule of kings ever been challenged. Kings challenged each other, but never had the people challenged the kings and their rule.

Is the United States an exceptional country? Barack Obama has stated publicly that he doesn’t think it is. I quote Thomas Sowell, “You couldn’t be more exceptional in the 18th century than to create your fundamental document, the Constitution of the United States, by opening with the momentous words, “We the people…”

Those three words were a slap in the face to those who thought themselves entitled to rule, and regarded the people as if they were simply human livestock, destined to be herded and shepherded by their betters. Indeed, to this very day, the elite who think that way, and that includes many among those who regard themselves as the educated and enlightened class, as well as the Liberal news media and political messiahs, find the Constitution of the United States a real pain because it stands in the way of them imposing their will and their presumptions on the rest of us.

Barack Obama stated in a public interview on T V, “The founders made it very hard to change things as quickly as I want to.” He also stated in a public speech, “If congress doesn’t do what I think is necessary, I won’t wait on them, I’ll do it anyway.” And again only, two weeks ago, he says in a televised interview, “We’re not just going to be waiting for legislation. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone. And I can use that pen to sign executive orders.” Never before in American history has any president so blatantly and openly shown such disregard and out and out contempt for our Constitution as the rule of law. He just simply ignores it. It is very apparent that his swearing to “uphold and defend” it, upon taking the oath of office, means absolutely nothing to him.

A campaign was started many years ago by President Woodrow Wilson, and continues today, to undermine and discredit the United States Constitution. Those efforts are headed today by the Progressive Liberals (Socialists) both in our news media and our federal government, and they are led, among others, by Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, George Soros, and MSNBC.

The managing editor of Time Magazine, Richard Stengle, in an essay he wrote is a case in point, where he says, “If the Constitution was intended to limit the federal government, it certainly doesn’t say so.” Mr. Stengle, I would like to direct you to the Tenth Amendment of that document, for apparently you have not read it. It reads, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or the people.”

Our Constitution was designed to create a framework for a Federal Government—and worded to keep the government inside that framework. In other words, the Constitution exists for the purpose of limiting the powers of the Federal Government. “Does the Constitution matter?” “If it doesn’t, then neither does our freedom.”

America, we are on a collision course with full blown Socialism.

On November 4th all 435 seats of the House of Representitives and 36 Senate seats will be constitutionally vacated for us to refill. We are in charge of who will sit in them. Allow me to suggest, if we do not replace the Progressive Liberals with men and women who are defenders of our Constitution, we will be giving Barack Obama two more years of full power to complete his burning mission to turn this nation into the Socialist States of America. The Constitutional Republic of These United States of America will no longer exist and our Individual Liberty, to make and be responsible for our own decisions, will be gone from our lives forever.

Iran and the New Axis of Evil

For now we see through a glass, darkly the liaison between Russia and Iran that I have written at length on. As the faux interim nuclear deal between Iran and the world takes effect, Iran is cozying up to Mother Russia and suggesting joint military exercises. How long do we let this progress before America takes steps to stop the New Axis of Evil from crippling us permanently with an EMP, cyber attack or worse?

Middle East officials are stating that the joint naval exercises would take place in May. According to Aaron Klein of WND, Russia has not accepted yet and is still pondering the offer. Right. Do you really think that Russia will rebuff their proxy Iran? Iran and Russia have already agreed to expand ties.

Meanwhile, we move the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman outside of the Gulf as a gesture of goodwill. This is so the bogus interim nuclear agreement with Tehran can kick in. I’ve got a gesture or two for Iran, for Russia, for China and heck, for Obama… We’re opening our borders and allowing terrorists and spies into the US, we move our battleships away from the enemy to placate them, our country is sharing our personal data and secrets with Russia and the list goes on and on concerning actions that look clearly to me as outright attempts to aid our enemies and to help them bring us to our knees as a nation. It’s like watching Jurassic Park and just knowing the goat is going to get eaten by Trex, but you can’t look away. Hint: we’re the goat.

A week ago, I wrote about Iran’s ships headed towards US maritime borders:

The fleet, which consists of a destroyer and a helicopter-carrying supply ship, shoved off last month from the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas. The ships are carrying some 30 navy academy cadets, supposedly for training, along with their regular crews. Instead of a three hour cruise, these sailors are on a three-month mission. This move is in response to the US naval deployments near its own coastlines. Emboldened by a weak US President and a weakened super power in general, the Iranians are poking the badger with no expectation of the Americans defending themselves. Why should they worry? It’s nukes and EMPs away and the most Obama would do is hit the golf course one more time.

And just as I predicted, what does Obama do? He hits the golf course – again. The EMP threat by this little band of merry Jihadists is not a laughing matter and I am not the only one warning people that the Iranians are coming:

Iran’s surprising decision to move warships off the Atlantic coast poses a potential catastrophic threat to America from a nuclear or electromagnetic pulse attack, according to an expert who foresaw Iran’s move.

Peter Pry, an expert on EMP attacks, said the ships are likely a dry run for a future attack, a maneuver meant to lull Washington into complacency while also embarrassing President Obama and his effort to convince Tehran to give up production of a nuclear bomb in return for a lifting of some economic sanctions.

“Yes, patrols by the Iranian Navy off our coasts could pose threat of a surprise EMP attack,” said Pry, who with others such as former CIA Director R. James Woolsey, has convinced several state legislatures to take moves to harden their electric and energy grids from EMP attack because Washington won’t.

Pry said the ships are probably conducting a test for a future visit from an Iranian freighter that would launch the attack.


“I and my colleagues, including Reza Kahlili, who warned six months ago that these Iranian patrols were coming, think it more likely Iran would make an EMP attack by launching a missile off a freighter, so they could do the deed anonymously, and escape retaliation,” Pry explained.

“Iran has demonstrated the capability to launch a missile off a freighter. Iran has also purchased Russia’s Club-K missile system. The Club-K is a complete missile launch system, disguised to look like a shipping container, that could convert any freighter into a missile launch platform. The Club-K, if armed with a nuclear warhead, could be used to execute an EMP attack.”

Woolsey recently told Secrets that Iran was just months away from finishing production of their first nuclear bomb.

He also has joined with Pry and others, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, in warning about a nuclear blast in the atmosphere that would knock out electric transformers and facilities in the mid-Atlantic.

And we just sit here and watch like none of this is real — like we are untouchable. Except we’re not and our enemies are getting ready not to just reach out and touch us, but clobber us. We have let the enemies within and without grow strong and emboldened, while we dither weakly and whine that we can’t do anything because our politicians won’t let us. This is our country, our government, our military… We better man up and force action here or get ready to face a new dark age.

As all this goes down, Iran is set to get over 20 billion in sanctions relief and their oil exports are soaring. The deal gave them excessively disproportionate relief and it is clear Obama lied to all of America about it. Russia is snapping up all the natural gas over there along with oil as well. What do you think this means for the US? As Obama and the EPA put their Stalin cap on and tell us that our energy costs are going to skyrocket probably 100% or better, we now face either being blocked from getting oil and gas to an extent, or paying extortionist rates for it. They don’t have to sell to the US and as the power grid is redrawn globally with Iran, Russia and China controlling more and more, our suppliers just aren’t that into us anymore.

China, South Korea and India are lining up to buy from Iran. China is threatening half the planet on multiple levels: economically, militarily and technologically if countries don’t pick them as their sugar daddy. China is no longer buying our debt and the dollar is on its deathbed. If things keep progressing this way, the new super powers will be China, Russia and Iran in that order and we will stand alone now that our Marxist government has alienated us from almost all our allies. It is a national security nightmare. 9/11 may be the event that crippled us temporarily, but the Obama Presidency will be the event that slits our throat.

While we raise the debt ceiling ever higher on one hand and gut our military and nukes on the other, Saudi Arabia has just about had enough. Obama’s hollow claim that striking a deal with the Iranians would prevent a nuclear arms race in the Middle East is a load of horse crap. It does just the opposite. Saudi Arabia will now have to go nuclear to defend themselves from Iran and to stay sovereign. Clearly, the US is perceived as weak and led by fools. So, on the one hand, the Gulf States will be paying lip service to Iran, on the other, they will nuke up and we’re off to the apocalyptic races. Israel will retaliate when the attack comes and with so many enemies surrounding her and with the US on the wrong side, it is only a matter of time. Israel is currently developing ‘Star Wars-style‘ laser missile shields and preparing for the unthinkable and because we are turning our back on her, I believe, God will turn His back on us.

Just how arrogant of the US and the world to believe that a murderously insane theocracy, such as Iran, would allow infidels to dictate military policy. They believe it should be the other way around and with Obama’s help, Iran and the new Axis of Evil stand a good chance of realizing their evil ambitions.

This week’s winner, Joshuapundit’s The UN Reveals Its Cowardice And Hypocrisy By Attacking The Catholic Church, concerns the recent attack on the Catholic Church by an influential UN committee which demanded that the Church make some changes in its religious beliefs to suit their notion of political correctness. I noticed some unusual things about that, including a certain 300 pound gorilla in the room that was curiously not mentioned at all. Here’s a slice:

A UN Human Right commission has attacked the Catholic Church and the Vatican concerning its canon law, policies and teachings.

The report, published today by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child harshly criticized the Church for its teachings on abortion, contraception and homosexuality as well as the Vatican’s policies on dealing with pedophile priests in a report whose tone can only be defined as frenzied and aggressive.

The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child is one of 10 U.N. bodies that monitor implementation of the core U.N. human rights treaties, and its 18 members include academics, sociologists and child development specialists from around the globe.

The treaty the committee is supposed to be monitoring is the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child, the key U.N. treaty on child protection, which the Holy See ratified in 1990. Apparently the committee simply decided to get into issues of abortion, contraception and homosexuality, none of which are covered by the treaty just because…or perhaps at the urging of various pro-abortion and pro Homosexual marriage activists.

The report blasted the Vatican and claims that it “systematically” adopted policies that allowed priests to molest children over decades, and it called on the Holy See to open its files on pedophiles and bishops who concealed the abuse.

“The committee is gravely concerned that the Holy See has not acknowledged the extent of the crimes committed, has not taken the necessary measures to address cases of child sexual abuse and to protect children, and has adopted policies and practices which have led to the continuation of the abuse by, and the impunity of, the perpetrators,” the report said.

That would be news to the almost 400 priests that have been defrocked and tossed out of the Church, the ones who justifiably have done or are doing jail time and the Church officials who paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation to the victims, leaving several dioceses in the US either bankrupt or teetering on the edge.

But wait, there’s more. The committee calls on the Church to change its policies to allow abortion and contraception, make sex education, including access to information about contraception and abortion mandatory in Catholic schools and to accept gay marriage and same sex adoption.

Now, I am not a Catholic, and to be honest, I have my own issues with the Catholic Church as an institution based on its history, its policies toward the State of Israel and other topics we need not delve into here. But I don’t have to be Catholic to recognize the abject cowardice and hypocrisy on display here.

While I might not agree totally with the Church’s stance on abortion, it is the supreme irony to me that a committee charged with monitoring the rights of children would issue a report biased towards abrogating the one right that is the source of all the others – the right to life.

By demanding that the Catholic Church change its religious doctrines on homosexuality, contraception and abortion, the UN committee is essentially saying that the Catholic Church is to be singled out from all other religions as one that sanctions bigotry, intolerance and hatred.And here I thought Jews and Israel had that particular space reserved where the UN was concerned!

But let me see..is the Catholic Church the sole offender here? Or even the worst one?
