Islamic State “Systematically Beheading” Christian Children, Raping Mothers, Hanging Fathers…

Weasel Zippers

Beyond words.

A prominent Christian leader of the Chaldean community unveiled the “systematic beheading of children” and other horrendous crimes committed by ISIS. He said that the Sunni extremists are committing genocide against Christians in Iraq and with the aim to instill the Sharia Law as the law of the land.

In the interview with CNN’s Jonathan Mann, Chaldean-American businessman Mark Arabo said that the “world hasn’t seen an evil like this for generations.”

“There is a park in Mosul, where [ISIS] they actually beheaded children and put their heads on a stick and have them in the park,” he explained. “More children are getting beheaded, mothers are getting raped and killed, and fathers are being hung.”

Speaking from San Diego over Skype, Arabo called for the international community to offer asylum to the more than 300,000 Christians fleeing and living in neighboring cities.

“The world hasn’t seen this kind of atrocity in generations,” he said. “This is a crime against humanity. This is much broader than a community or a state. This is crime against humanity. They are doing the most horrendous, the most heart-breaking crimes that you can think of.”

When asked about Sunni extremists’ targeting of Christians, Arabo said that around 95 percent of Christians have fled, five percent have converted. Also, the ISIS have marked the death stamps on Christian homes, so whoever returns will get killed.

Press Release: A new political party in Italy

With this press release, Voice of the Copts announces that Ashraf Ramelah, its founder and president, has created a new political party in Italy which will support Judeo-Christian values in Europe.

Press Release: A new political party in Italy

Today, August 6, 2014, a new political idea is born in Italy – a new political party created not by professional politicians but by people of different backgrounds pledging to one moral, ideological goal: the revival of Italy. Today is the birth of La Rinascita Italiana (The Italian Revival). The party will stand out in seeking to reclaim citizen rights in a program designed to benefit the Italian people.

The founder of La Rinascita Italiana (LRI) is Dr. Ashraf Ramelah, president of Voice of the Copts, a non-profit human rights organization. Its cofounder is Francesco Puocci, a civil engineer. Italy’s political scene is fraught with self-interest at the expense of the nation and its citizens. Identifying this was the founders’ first step in understanding that Italy must have a political movement unlike any other. Ambitious for ideals that will lift Italy from the mire of non-governance and political gamesmanship, Ramelah and Puocci have now created La Rinascita Italiana.

The current political establishment shames the great country of Italy – a nation known for its wealth of history, culture, and art. Italian citizens are losing pride in a nation that has less employment opportunities, rising taxation and dwindling services. What’s more, towns and cities across Italy must now cope with invading populations of immigrants that strain the welfare system. Italy’s power as a nation is in its ability to secure its borders. At the heart of Italy is hard work, compassion and charity — the embodiment of Judeo-Christianity and Italy’s strength!

Italians are fatigued by politics — jaded by good speeches and great promises leading to nothing. Meanwhile, the frenetic pace of leadership going in circles erodes a nation’s foundation and weakens the resolve of its people. LRI will restore Italy’s hope as it listens to the needs of the voters, understands the dreams of its youth and conducts its duty in the service of Italian citizens. LRI is certain to meet the vast challenge before it and confident of winning!

The dates and details of the following three LRI events will soon be announced and will take place in the upcoming months in the order listed below:

1.       As a sign of solidarity with the State of Israel, LRI will join Voice of the Copts on a goodwill ship to Israel.

2.       The LRI party inauguration ceremony in Rome.

3.       A LRI rally in Lampedusa (Italy) to call attention to illegal boats disembarking illegal passengers.

August 6, 1945

Sixty-nine years ago an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima where hundreds of thousands of lives were lost in unimaginable suffering. Now we cry NO to nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran.

For Italy and its citizens, La Rinascita Italiana will be the solid and concrete point of reference for the revival of Italy and its future! We are not the Left; we are not the Right… We are for Italy and for its citizens!

Brother of Journolist – Secretive Leftwing Network Redux

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Well, it looks like the Progressive lapdog media has been colluding again. Media Trackers, a site that tracks media stories and works for transparency in government, uncovered a group with over 1,000 members that is literally a who’s who of the Progressive Left in media. And I would wager, it is only the tip of the iceberg out there — I am sure that the collaboration is widespread and well-organized. The group is called Gamechanger Salon and boasts members that include a CNN commentator, the top two political reporters for The Huffington Post, a Reuters reporter, the editor of The Nation magazine, a producer for Al Jazeera America television, a U.S. News & World Report columnist and approximately two dozen Huffington Post contributors. Conservatives need not apply. The group was founded by Billy Wimsatt, a dedicated Leftist and activist. It is a digital group that corresponds with one another on topics of the day and until now, was secretive. Writers, opinion leaders, activists and political pundits all share strategy, information and ideas through a closed Google group. How cozy.

More on Wimsatt:

Wimsatt, the moderator of Gamechanger Salon according to a member policy manual, currently works as chief ideas officer at Gamechanger Labs, an incubator for leftwing political and social action with the motto, “R&D for the movement.” In 2008, Wimsatt worked for the Obama campaign and the Ohio Democratic Party, according to his LinkedIn profile. A former columnist he is the author of several books and contributed columns to the Huffington Post until 2012.

In 2010 he co-wrote a column about voter guides for the Huffington Post with the controversial Van Jones, who resigned from the Obama Administration in 2009 amid outrage over his advocacy for a convicted cop killer and signature on a petition saying the Bush Administration willfully allowed the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 to happen.

Media Trackers gained access to the list through a University of Wisconsin professor who belonged to the network, when they submitted an open records request.

Among the membership are political hacks from NARAL, the SEIU, the AFL-CIO and Planned Parenthood. Literally dozens of other groups are among the membership. The Atlantic, Wikipedia and MSNBC have members on board as well.

The likes of Sally Kohn, a former Fox News reporter who is now a contributor at CNN and who leans strongly in favor of Obama, worked the group to promote her appearances. She liberally promoted to her Progressive colleagues her work. She is but one of many plying their wares through the group.

Wimsatt has a book club, which is used to educate and motivate members:

A book club section of the list contains recommended reading material and occasional quick reviews of the books explaining why they are important for liberal activists and organizers. Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Church makes the list because, as Wimsatt notes in his review, “it’s a F#[email protected] BRILLIANT and provocative book about the art and science of organizing that in part shows on many levels why right-wing evangelicals are organizing circles around us (even though much of what they’re selling is snake oil).”

Another book that Wimsatt recommends to the membership is Mockingjay, the third and final installment of The Hunger Games series. According to Wimsatt’s review, “Third Hunger Games Book. People say it’s great and complex parable of revolution – and it will help us get ready to leverage the next 2 movies better.”

Other portions of the extensive membership document recommend movies, songs, television shows, recommended websites and blogs, and goals for the online Gamechanger community. Two of the goals listed are “Recruit 200 key community-based organizers, especially women and people of color,” and “Recruit 100 key diverse bloggers, movement journalists, and pundits.” Another goal involves theorizing about a “TED-like conference for folks.”

Recruitment and revolution – the very essence of transformative politics. Gamechanger also keeps a detailed calendar that lists and promotes important events.

Thanks to Media Trackers, you can view the membership and calendar below:

Gamechanger Salon

Brian Simka at RedState wrote an excellent piece on Gamechanger: Journolist 2.0 Discovered. In his article, he lists several key Progressive players and their positions:

  • Amanda Terkel — Senior Political Reporter and Politics Managing Editor at The Huffington Post: Conducted a Leftwing effort to push Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) to run for president.
  • Ryan Grim — The Huffington Post’s Washington Bureau Chief: Worked with Terkel on conducting a Leftwing effort to push Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) to run for president.
  • Anna Louie Sussman — She is an energy and commodities reporter for Thomson Reuters and used to work for the New York Times.
  • Katrina vanden Heuvel — editor and publisher of The Nation magazine. She is also a regular writer for the Washington Post.
  • Lisa Graves — She leads the Madison, Wisconsin-based Center for Media and Democracy.
  • Jordan Flaherty — He was a producer for Al Jazeera America television and blogs for The Huffington Post.
  • David Brodwin — Columnist for U.S. News & World Report.

The group’s overview is quite interesting as well:

…experienced change makers from different ‘worlds’ of the movement to share stories, honest reflections, interesting articles, and provocative ideas on how we build a stronger, more coordinated, more game-changing movement for the 21st Century” according to the policy manual.

The group’s policy manual directs members to abstain from forwarding emails to recipients outside the group. It does warn, however, that with 1,000-plus members, anyone emailing the group should not say anything “you wouldn’t want to be subpoenaed by a Grand Jury or broadcast on Fox News.

So, they knowingly are covering up their alliances and their agenda. This is very similar to the antics of the original Journolist players. Trevor Loudon wrote at length on them in 2010 and their over 400 members. Gamechanger adds to and expands massively the Journolist group. It is the creme de la creme of the Progressive movement – these are power and influence brokers. Among the movers and shakers are Damon Silver, Policy Director for the AFL-CIO; Benjamin Joffe-Walk, Chief of Staff at Change.org; Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CODEPINK; Elizabeth Rose, Director of Communications at the Economic Policy Institute; Philip Radford, Executive Director of Greenpeace until earlier this year; and Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL. Other members come from anti-Israel organizations such as Jewish Voice for Peace and J-Street as well as Amnesty International; the Canadian group which was a leader of Occupy Wall Street, Adbusters; and the Sierra Club. And, an organization I have written on, the Sunlight Foundation, a group supposedly dedicated to transparency in politics, is a member of this secret group. Considering their connection to George Soros, I am not surprised at all. They are progressively transparent. Also among the members are Raven Brooks, Executive Director of Netroots Nation; Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Deirdre Schifeling, National Director Organizing & Electoral Campaigns for Planned Parenthood.

This group has every right to exist and collaborate. Where it gets dicey is the brazen manipulation of the media to control the public and influence politics for power and profit. Also, the references to revolution etc. are troubling. Many of these same “JournoListas” were involved with Marxist-based organizations such as Democratic Socialists of America, or the far Left Institute for Policy Studies. Many have very close ties to Barack Obama and the Democrat Party. As Trevor said four years ago:

The “JournoListas” who helped Barack Obama into the White House are not unique. They are merely part of a movement to promote a promising young leftist that may have begun more than thirty years ago.

Without sympathetic socialist journalists, it is unlikely that Barack Obama would be President of the United States today.

Gamechanger is the Brother of Journolist and another secretive Leftwing network. The same old crowd with new faces mixed in is pushing the same Progressive/Marxist agenda. And through propaganda and media manipulation, they have helped Barack Obama bring the freest nation in the world to her knees. Gamechanger is another face of the enemy of freedom and the members of the group are foot soldiers for Marxism. And you wonder why they all have the same talking points.

Politico Highlights Journalism’s Demise

By: Cliff Kincaid
Accuracy in Media

A young reporter at the publication Politico contacted anti-NSA writer Glenn Greenwald, in a successful effort to shower some unexpected praise on Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

The result, according to Politico media reporter Hadas Gold, is “high praise” for Kelly from a writer whose recent specialty is attacking America and Israel for monitoring and neutralizing Islamic terrorist groups.

Greenwald, a former gay pornography executive and close associate of NSA defector Edward Snowden, has somehow become the “go-to” guy in the journalism business, when a comment is needed on how well a particular news personality is doing.

He “has plenty of complimentary things to say about how the Fox prime-time host [Kelly] conducts herself on air,” Gold said.

Gold said that Kelly, who recently interviewed former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers, treating him “with respect,” received “high praise” from Greenwald. The mouthpiece for Edward Snowden’s stolen classified documents said Kelly “has a lower tolerance for being fed incoherent tripe from her own side than the average cable news TV host.”

I wouldn’t blame Kelly for responding to this “praise” with, “Thanks, but no thanks.”

This false praise masquerading as journalism was included in a story headlined, “Megyn Kelly: Secret of her success.”

Politico is a publication that aims to be on the cutting edge of political journalism. It is distributed mostly free of charge in the nation’s capital.

TV producer Jerry Kenney says it looks like Politico is angling for some face time for its correspondents on “The Kelly File” and other Fox News shows. Politico’s favorite cable channel, the partisan-Democrat MSNBC, doesn’t have very good ratings.

It’s true that one way to get on a show like that is to compliment the host. But in this case, the “compliments” came from somebody whose vitriol for Israel has recently been exposed for all to see.

Unfortunately, such a story is what passes for media coverage at Politico. It is especially sad in this case, since Hadas Gold’s bio discloses that she was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and should have some personal understanding from her family, friends and relatives of the impact of the vicious anti-Israel views expressed by Greenwald and his ilk.

If Greenwald had his way, Israel would back down from defending its population against Hamas-staged rocket attacks.

Yet, Gold refers to Greenwald as “the crusading privacy journalist.”

Despite his opposition to the NSA and its surveillance programs, Greenwald’s main concern isn’t privacy. He is opposed to the U.S. and Israel conducting surveillance of their enemies, finding out where they are and what terrorist acts they are planning. Like Snowden, he could have been charged with espionage for publicizing classified documents stolen from the NSA.

Nevertheless, Politico treats Greenwald with deference and respect.

As we have discussed in perhaps a dozen different stories, Greenwald is not a journalist but a political extremist who speaks before Islamist and Marxist groups. His latest “scoops” concerned how the NSA is supposedly improperly monitoring the activities of Islamic activists and terrorists. He once said 9/11 was “minimal in scope” compared to the violence the U.S. inflicted on the rest of the world.

But Hadas Gold somehow missed all of this and made him into the arbiter of what is acceptable journalism.

According to her résumé, Gold has a B.A. Journalism and Mass Communications degree from George Washington University (GWU), and graduated summa cum laude (GPA 3.86), with special honors in journalism. This is pretty darn impressive.

But a puff piece on Megyn Kelly that uses a character reference of dubious validity is not impressive.

It’s apparently supposed to be a man-bites-dog story. It resulted in an open wound.

Gold’s résumé says she was an Editorial Intern at PolitiFact.com, where she engaged in “fact finding” and writing the “Obameter” and “Truth-o-meter” items for the website.

What about a “Greenwald-o-meter?”

Truthful coverage would reveal that when Greenwald addressed several Marxist-Leninist conferences over the last few years, people in attendance chanted “Palestine will be free” and “Wars of occupation will never bring liberation.”

It sounds like a pro-Hamas kind of group. Yet this is where Greenwald spends some of his time.

Hadas Gold was supposed to learn journalism in school. But she was duped as part of a hate crime hoax on the GWU campus. Indeed, she was one of the young reporters at the GWU Hatchet, the student paper, who reported on swastikas being found on the campus back in 2007, creating a major crisis. The FBI was called in to investigate.

The perpetrator turned out to be the alleged victim. It was GWU student reporter Sarah Marshak, who wrote for the Hatchet. In other words, she was a budding journalist herself. The police—not the media—discovered her identity.

This was a lesson for all journalists, young and old. Facts do matter.

When it comes to Glenn Greenwald, it is way past time for some facts.

A search of Politico’s archives found the following description of Greenwald and his work:

  • “…journalist Glenn Greenwald revealed that the U.S. government has tapped the email of five prominent Muslim American activists and scholars.” Story by Byron Tau, July 14, 2014.

First of all, the idea of Greenwald being a “journalist” is debatable. When he spoke before the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which is tied to Hamas, he was identified by CAIR itself as a political commentator, lawyer and columnist. The term “journalist” implies some training in the profession. He was trained as a lawyer. He once worked in the gay pornography business. Somehow, this fact gets omitted from sympathetic media coverage of his background.

Also note that the “activists and scholars” in the Politico story turned out to be linked to pro-terrorist groups and causes.

Some other Politico descriptions of Greenwald:

  • “Glenn Greenwald, the former Guardian columnist who was on the receiving end of Snowden’s leaks.” Story by—you guessed it—Hadas Gold.
  • “Glenn Greenwald, one of the primary recipients and publishers of Snowden’s NSA leaks.” Story again by, you guessed it—Hadas Gold.

A pattern seems to be developing here. It’s one of refusing to tell the truth about Greenwald’s bias and involvement with Islamist and Marxist groups, not to mention his Snowden link that ties him directly to Moscow and espionage activity.

The only possible exception to this pattern at Politico was a story about Snowden’s media associates being nominated for Pulitzer Prizes that quoted a few critical comments from Accuracy in Media.

But as we pointed out in our own story on this controversy, it was slanted in favor of giving the awards. The Politico story by Dylan Byers challenged the Pulitzer Board to honor Snowden’s collaborators, saying, “…to pass on the NSA story would be to risk giving the appearance of timidity, siding with the government over the journalists who are trying to hold it accountable and ignoring the most significant disclosure of state secrets in recent memory.”

The only timidity lies with the reporters at Politico who won’t report the evidence about the anti-American agenda driving Greenwald’s “journalism.”

Now we see the bias reaching such absurd heights as to cite Greenwald in a story that is supposed to constitute “high praise” for a Fox News host.

This is not journalism. It is a strange form of feature writing designed to grab your attention with big names and eyebrow-raising claims.

The need for higher standards in the journalism profession is demonstrated every day in Politico. The publication is worth reading for that lesson alone.

I’m glad they send it to me free. I wouldn’t pay for it.

Enemy DHS & Ebola: Border Patrol Agent Zach Taylor, After His Viral Video

Border Patrol Agent Zachary Taylor & Jim Simpson on Dave Levine Show

Video: “Zach Taylor, Retired US Border Patrol Agent and NAFBPO Chairman, Part 1

Wednesday evening at 9 pm Eastern time, the Dave Levine Show interviewed former Border Patrol agent Zachary Taylor. This is the agent featured in an article on these pages in late July. Levine cited an article on Drudge Report today titled “Border Agent: ‘Morale Is At an All-Time Low Right Now.’ The article cites National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 Vice President Chris Cabrera, a former Border agent himself:

Teenage criminals and gang members from Central America have been using “a loophole” to stay in the country, border agent Chris Cabrera revealed. Under current policy, unaccompanied minors are allowed to stay in the country if they have family in the United States and say they have none in their home country, regardless of their background.

Even if he is a confirmed gang member, a confirmed criminal, even by self-admission, we for some reason don’t send them back to their home country — we release them into our country. Cabrera said.

Levine asked for Taylor’s opinion on the piece. He responded that the Border Patrol agent’s biggest enemy right now is the Department of Homeland Security. Border Patrol agents are essentially being told “You are expendable… You are collateral damage,” he said.

I called into the show to discuss some of the assertions Taylor made in his 15 minute video interview. Specifically I wanted to discuss ammo shortages among the Border Patrol on the Southwest border, the estimates of Africans coming across the border and the prospects for an outbreak of Ebola. Am afraid I kind of monopolized the show. My apologies to Dave, who was very diplomatic.

Taylor made the same observation about West Africans that I made in my piece on the prospects for an Ebola outbreak in the U.S. That is, essentially, that we know West Africans from Ebola-affected countries are crossing the border. The Border Patrol has apprehended 100 since the beginning of 2014. The initial count was 71, but a closer inspection of the CBP document reveals 100, and that doesn’t include the Nigerians. Regardless, how many have we missed? Also, if even one came across commingled with Central Americans, he could infect many of them before anyone knew. These in turn could threaten Americans.

Continues
