Obama Has No Intention of Stopping ISIS
By: Sher Zieve
Gulag Bound
Obama is allowing ISIL/ISIS to continue its blood lust of beheadings of Christians across the world. He has done nothing to stop it and, chillingly, has not even mentioned it except for a passing remark or two. Now, this group of Sunni Muslims (BTW…please remember that Obama’s “family” members–save one who is a conservative Christian shunned by the rest of the family–are all Sunni Muslim Brotherhood)–has beheaded 2 American journalists within the last 2 weeks. After a passing remark containing an almost ‘sorry it happened’ to the parents of beheaded journalist James Foley, Obama hurried off to make his tee time. He was later photographed high-fiving one of his golfing buddies and yucking it up on the links.
After the latest beheading of journalist Steven Sotloff, Obama said nothing until he had reached Europe to attend a regularly scheduled NATO summit meeting–and it was tepid at best. He commented (as he does on virtually every atrocity committed by Islamists) “We won’t be intimidated by ISIL.” Then, he went back to business as usual. Historically, when it comes to terrorists Obama’s comments are never followed up with any real action. Certainly, he’s not intimidated in the least as he is likely the most protected being on the planet. If all others are beheaded or killed in some other way by ISIL, so be it! You’re on your own. Remember what is written in Obama’s book “Audacity of Hope”:
Whenever I appear before immigrant audiences, I can count on some good-natured ribbing from my staff after my speech; according to them, my remarks always follow a three-part structure: “I am your friend,” “[Fill in the home country] has been a cradle of civilization,” and “You embody the American dream.” They’re right, my message is simple, for what I’ve come to understand is that my mere presence before these newly minted Americans serves notice that they matter, that they are voters critical to my success and full-fledged citizens deserving of respect. “Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them [Arabs and Pakistanis] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction. [Page 260-261].
Two retired American generals–McInerny and Vallely–are calling for Obama to declare Defcon 1–reserved for imminent nuclear strikes on the US mainland. Thus far, Obama has not truly fought against any Islamists/Muslims. He won’t. When Obama isn’t worshiping himself, he worships Allah…aka Lucifer/Moloch. He bowed down and kissed the hand of his benefactor the King of Saud shortly after he was elected POTUS. Muslims know what this means. It means submission. With this act, Obama placed the USA into Dhimmitude–where we have been for Obama’s entire reign.
USBP Agents have begun to resign as the US southern border is wide open and–along with all other comers–terrorists have been entering our country for the months and years Obama has been in power. The Agents have repeatedly been told not to stop anyone from entering the country. The terrorists and Mexican cartels have set up shop in multiple US States. ISIS/ISIL has been here for quite some time. Obama knows it. They are his people.

Barack Obama showing his gold band with Muslim praise of Allah
As I’ve written in multiple columns over the years, Obama’s intention is to turn the USA into the Marxist-Islamic North American Caliphate…and he intends to be the Caliph. That is why he never seems worried about anything. All is going as planned. The faux “refugees”–see below vide–are a distraction but, meant to overrun the country and help to more quickly turn it 3rd world. It’s working. In the meantime, all manner of gang members and terrorists have entered the country by Obama‘s command. To top off Obama’s continual treasons, he also sides with Islam against Israel.
The world is in the most dire condition it has ever been and Obama is one of those leading the charge for its establishment as an Islamic slave State. In order to do so, the elimination of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is necessary. Obama has already firmly indicated that he is up to the task. Even the dullest amongst us should be able to see just who and what Obama is now. The Lord of the universe is no longer amused.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

A Lonely Mandate
These are particularly tough times for Israel (and for Jews more broadly). The situation demands steady nerves and absolute determination to pursue our course with conviction. Is is difficult, indeed, not to be deflected by rage, which enervates, or to fall into depression, the flip side of that rage.
The world, which has turned upside down, is smoldering, and on the cusp of bursting into flames.
But in the face of consummate and breathtaking evil, attacking Israel occupies the attention of the western world. For we have done something that is deemed terrible: we have allocated close to 1,000 acres in the Gush Etzion area as state land available for future housing.
Shocking, isn’t it? Never mind that Islamists are raping women in large numbers, or that there are hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, or that ISIS has beheaded two American journalists. Or that Khaled Mashaal, head of the Hamas politburo, has said Hamas will never relinquish its “sacred” weapons, and is prepared, as necessary to return to “resistance” until its goals (destruction of Israel) are reached. The EU and the US have time to harshly criticize Israel:
The US has formally asked Israel to reverse the decision on this land.
The EU has said this decision constitutes “an obstacle to peace and threatens to render the two state solution impossible.”
There has been “condemnation” of Israel’s action in several quarters, and Britain warned that this would “threaten” our “standing” in the international community.
~~~~~~~~~~
Allow me, then, to respond with pertinent background information.
The land in question is largely in Gush Etzion, a bloc of Jewish communities south east of Jerusalem that is solidly tied to Israel’s history – and to the modern history of Jews in the Land even before the founding of Israel. See: http://www.gush-etzion.org.il/history.asp
It is unthinkable that this area would ever be part of a “Palestinian state,” and the notion that building here would render the “two state solution” impossible is unmitigated nonsense.
It is simply that the world has decided we have no rights to land beyond what is referred to as the “pre-1967 border” but is in fact a 1949 temporary armistice line. An irrational fixation with that “Palestinian state” persists at all costs. A fixation that we must counter.
~~~~~~~~~~
In point of fact, the Oslo II Interim Agreement, as elucidated in a briefing by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, “established a division of the West Bank into three areas: Area A, where the Palestinians had full control, Area B where there was mixed Israeli and Palestinian security control but full Palestinian civil control, and Area C, where Israel had full military and civilian control. Israeli responsibilities in Area C included the power of zoning and planning. The territory which Israel declared as state land is within Area C.” (Emphasis added)
http://jcpa.org/israels-988-acres-of-west-bank-territory/
~~~~~~~~~~
Oslo aside for the moment, matters of land allocation in Judea and Samaria are complicated precisely because Israel has not annexed the area. There is a layering of laws going back to the pre-Mandate Ottoman period; the Mandate period (1922 – 1948), when Great Britain was the administrator; through the period of illegal Jordanian occupation (1949 – 1967; and since to the present with Israel as administrator.
Broadly, land in Judea and Samaria falls into one of three legal categories: state land, private land, and land whose status is to be determined. The area in question had the status of territory whose status is to be determined. However, an investigation was required before the change of status to state land could be announced: That lengthy investigation, completed this summer, determined its status. No private Arab ownership was uncovered. Now there will be a window of opportunity for those who might wish to contest this finding. And as we are looking at a bureaucratic process, it will be some time before any actual building is done.
This, then, is what the furor is about.
~~~~~~~~~~
All of this has to do with the resumption of the “peace process.” A linkage that is without reason has been made: now that there is a ceasefire (still temporary) between Israel and Hamas, Israel must go back to the table to negotiate with the PA. How that is – when Abbas sat at the table with Hamas in Cairo and has not pulled out of the unity agreement – is unclear.
~~~~~~~~~~
I’ve written several times lately about the difficulty of determining where our prime minister stands, as his statements and policies do not seem consistent. I wrote this with regard to the goals of the war with Hamas, but it applies, as well here with Israel’s stand against the international community.
I do not for a moment consider the pressures being brought to bear on Netanyahu to be anything less than horrendous. But this is what I’m seeing:
According a report in Arutz Sheva two days ago, in response to the June 12 abduction and murder of Gilad Sha’ar, Naftali Frenkel and Eyal Yifrah, Netanyahu had ordered for bids to go out on 2,500 housing units – in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Givat Hamatos in the Judea and Samaria communities of Ariel, Emanuel, and Beitar Illit.
“The bid publications were prepared and ready to go – until Netanyahu at the very last minute waffled and changed his mind, canning the plan right before it was to be published. (Emphasis added)
According to Cabinet Secretary Avichai Mandelblit “the international pressure placed on Israel during and following Operation Protective Edge…led Netanyahu to fear an international ‘crisis’ if he were to announce plans for new Jewish houses.”
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/184641#.VAdBTJvlrIV
These were plans for new housing in areas where Israeli development already existed and yet were deemed too controversial. Yet now an announcement has been made for a new area to be considered state land, and Netanyahu has allowed this to go through.
Gil Hoffman of the JPost says that Netanyahu permitted this for political reasons: with Naftali Bennett besting him in polls as the right wing leader of the nation, he had to show his nationalist credentials.
- But the fact is that he did it. He presumably made the judgment that it is possible to withstand the international furor. A lesson that should not be lost.
~~~~~~~~~~
On the issue of negotiations, Netanyahu is showing strength right now.
In the face of Abbas’s peace plan (which I will track in more detail in following posts), our government has made it clear that we will not deal with a PA government that has Hamas backing.
This is precisely as it should be, for starters. (I can think of many reasons not to negotiate with a PA government even if it were no longer backed by Hamas.)
In addition, according to Israel’s Channel 2, yesterday, before the Gaza war Netanyahu had told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that his government would no longer release prisoners convicted of terrorists acts as a gesture to Abbas.
http://www.jpost.com/Arab-Israeli-Conflict/No-more-prisoner-releases-for-Abbas-Netanyahu-says-374301
Considering the disasters we’ve encountered as a result of terrorists who were released (and never should have been), no other position is possible.
This is not going to play well with the US, or with the PA. Or, I would assume, with the EU. But it is a position that absolutely must be maintained – and which may, in and of itself, preclude negotiations because of what Abbas will demand.
~~~~~~~~~~
It is, I believe, the mandate of our prime minister and his government to stand strong for Israel – for Israeli rights and Israeli security both. A tough mandate, given the pressures and the complex decisions that must be made, and a very necessary one. More necessary, perhaps, than at any other time. Appearance of Israeli weakness or doubt as to Israel’s rights would be a disservice to the nation.
Along with this, there is a mandate to present Israel’s positions in a clear, forthright manner, public forums and for the media.
~~~~~~~~~~
And it is, then, the mandate of all who care about Israel, to stand with the prime minister in this time as he stands for Israel’s rights and security. This means speaking out in a forthright way for Israel and missing no opportunity to broadcasts the facts. which are so little understood. It also means exposing the evil and the duplicity of the PA, which continues to be embraced by the international community.
~~~~~~~~~~
Here I ask, please, that you communicate with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Do it with courtesy and brevity. Encourage him to stand strong against a perverse international community that will never be pleased no matter what Israel does. Implore him to speak for Israel’s rights and security. And ensure him that you will salute him for this, and stand with him – and speak out for Israel in your community.
E-mail: [email protected] and also [email protected] (underscore after pm) use both addresses.
~~~~~~~~~~
Do not write to ask Obama or Kerry to support Israel – it would be an absolute waste of your energy, as they have an agenda that will not change. But please do reach out to your elected representatives in Congress in support of Israel, as often as it seems necessary to do so.
For your Congresspersons:

For your Senators:

~~~~~~~~~~
I will, to the best of my ability, continue to provide information on the political/diplomatic situation – so that ramifications and processes might be understood, and on the devious machinations of Abbas. Please, my friends, use my material.
~~~~~~~~~~
And there is something else I expect to do, as well:
As many of you know, Jeff Daube, head of ZOA in Israel, and I co-chair “Legal Grounds – the Campaign for Israel’s Rights in Judea and Samaria.” During the war we were silent, because we understood what came first and where attention had to be focused.
Now it’s time to begin the campaign again. I will be providing information on what we have done to date and what we yet hope to do. I encourage the interest and the participation of my readers. With the international push to get us to surrender our rights in Judea and Samaria, and to negotiate a “Palestinian state,” this campaign assumes enormous importance for Israel’s future.
Who Is Alger Hiss?
By: Brent Parrish
The Right Planet

Alger Hiss’ mugshot after his conviction for perjury. Although Alger Hiss was not convicted of being a Soviet spy, due to the Statute of Limitations running out on the original charge, Hiss was still convicted for lying about it.
There was quite a bit of traffic generated from a recent article I wrote titled “What the U.N. Doesn’t Want You to Know,” which covered the dubious origins of the United Nations.
One of the leading forces behind the creation of the United Nations was a Soviet spy.
Enter Alger Hiss:

From Cleon Skousen’s book The Naked Capitalist (p. 47):
There were 74 [Council Foreign Relations (CFR)] members in the American delegation to the U.N. Conference at San Francisco in 1945. They included Alger Hiss (Communist spy), Harry Dexter White (Soviet Agent), Owen Lattimore (described by a Congressional committee as a “conscious, articulate instrument of the Soviet international conspiracy”), John J.McCloy (formerly head of the Rockefeller Chase-Manhattan Bank), Harold Stassen, Nelson Rockefeller, John Foster Dulles, Philip Jessup and Dean Acheson. These and 38 additional CFR members occupied nearly every significant decision-making spot in the American delegation to the San Francisco conference to set up the United Nations.
Internationally, the CFR is interlocked with the Bilderbergers, the Pugwash Conferences, the English-speaking Union, the Pilgrims Society, and with its secret control-group, the Round Table….
The list of U.N. founders reads like a Who’s Who list of communists and fellow travelers: Alger Hiss, Harry Dexter White, V. Frank Coe, Dean Acheson, Noel Field, Laurence Duggan, Henry Julian Wadleigh, John Carter Vincent, David Weintraub, Nathan Gregory Silvermaster, Harold Glasser, Victor Perlo, Irving Kaplan, Abraham George Silverman, Soloman Adler, William L. Ullman, William H. Taylor, etc.
None of these revelations are new. Much of this has been known for quite a while, as this short documentary from 1968 will attest:
Why has this information been repressed by our government and so many in the main-stream media for so long now? Anyone who has tried to expose these links have often times been viciously smeared and vilified by those in the U.S. government and the press.
Why?
There’s a couple of books I highly recommend reading if you want to learn more about the degree to which the Soviets and other communists managed to infiltrate some of the highest offices in the land, and other power centers like the media. One book is Blacklisted by History by M. Stanton Evans, which focuses on the congressional investigations conducted by Sen. Joe McCarthy.
Following the declassification of the Venona decrypts in 1995—a collection of secret communications going back and forth between the Kremlin and their operatives in the U.S.—the once secret documents appear to exonerate Sen. Joseph McCarthy’s efforts to expose the subversive activities by many known communists in the U.S. government.
Another book I highly recommend is ex-KGB officer Anatoliy Golitsyn’s New Lies for Old, which predicted the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1984, several years before the wall between east and west came down. Golitsyn predicted the Soviet Union would change strategies by putting a “happy face” on international communism, and then declare the Cold War officially over.
Consider this: the KGB has not gone anywhere; they simply restructured and changed their name (see FSB); the FSB’s headquarters is still located at the notorious Lubyanka building in Moscow. Since the alleged end of the Soviet Empire, their has been a rise in regional alliances—like the EU, for example. The European Union is just a “pale version of the Soviet Union,” as Soviet dissident Vladimir Bukovsky calls it.
Golitsyn’s book is very compelling read into the disinformation and subversive strategies and tactics the Soviet Union (and modern-day Russia, in my opinion) employ against their enemies, and how the communists always play both sides (see Hegelian strategy), even going so far as to create their own opposition groups.
“The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”

What an absolute lie and farce. Nothing we have done has slowed ISIS one bit. You can’t degrade the degraded. This joke of a President couldn’t defeat a fruit fly militarily. In fact, he wants ISIS and the Caliphate to proceed and grow. The strategy is to lose and bow to the Muslim world. What did you expect from a Muslim Marxist? The only way to defeat ISIS is to kill every last one of them and then salt the Earth.

Guantanamo Remains a Dilemma for Obama and the Media
By: Bethany Stotts
Accuracy in Media

Closing Guantanamo Bay and transferring its prisoners to other countries or to facilities within the United States has long been a goal of the left. A recent tactic has been to attack the costs associated with running Gitmo in the midst of government austerity measures. In a piece for Newsweek, Kurt Eichenwald recently called Guantanamo an “irrational celebration of failure—one that robs this country of our moral standing worldwide and our expressed commitment to justice—that is untouchable because it’s good for rounding up votes from the uninformed.” “Guantanamo Bay is a stunningly expensive failure,” stated the Newsweek headline.
And, in a recent piece for The New York Times, Charlie Savage exposes what he calls the “decaying” facility that is Guantanamo, and how officials perceive it as maybe staying open for another 20 years or so. Savage’s piece also focused on how “Obama has argued that Guantánamo should be closed because of its high costs, nearly $3 million per detainee annually, and because it endangers national security; it has become an anti-American symbol of past torture and other detainee abuses.” Savage is more than happy to continue in that vein and support the President’s justifications.
“Extremists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, who beheaded an American reporter in Syria last month, exploited those sentiments by forcing him to wear orange clothing like the garb worn by some Guantánamo detainees,” writes Savage. The Washington Post recently did a feature on the use of the Guantanamo-inspired orange suits as propaganda props by radical Islamists, and their utility in the propaganda efforts surrounding journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley. The latter has been confirmed as having been beheaded by ISIS—the Sunni jihadist group that has taken over much of Iraq—and as of this writing a video believed to be that of the beheading of Sotloff is currently being analyzed for authenticity.
The video, which purports to show the death of Sotloff, also features David Cawthorne Haines, described as a British aid worker, “in the same kneeling position and wearing the same orange jumpsuit as Sotloff and Foley before him,” reports The Washington Post. The message is clear: Haines is the next high-profile ISIS victim.
Allowing ISIS to claim the Guantanamo orange as a publicity stunt without mentioning the improvements that have been made at Guantanamo Bay is irresponsible journalism. American soldiers and prison guards have not publicly executed detainees on the worldwide stage, disseminating the footage as a spectacle for terror recruitment, as ISIS appears to have done.
Savage and the liberal left seem more concerned with the alleged human rights abuses perpetrated by the United States at Guantanamo than those crimes against humanity which caused the detainees to be placed there in the first place. Savage and others seem to downplay the atrocities committed by those either connected to the detainees, or the detainees themselves. Instead, Savage writes, “half of the inmates who are detained, according to a 2010 interagency review group report, were probably just foot soldiers helping the Taliban fight the Northern Afghan militias.” What about the other half detained there? What is their story?
And while Savage is concerned with the number of prisoners freed from Guantanamo, he does not seem overly concerned about the recidivism rates of those who return to fight abroad. As of last September, the “total rate of recidivism” was at 29 percent, with the recidivism of “those transferred during the president’s time in office” standing at 10 percent. Savage also ignored the release of five of the worst Guantanamo Bay detainees in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl, when he wrote that Obama’s “administration has managed to free just one low-level prisoner this year” (emphasis added). Bergdahl’s release was determined by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to have been illegal, since Congress was not informed in a timely manner, as prescribed by law. Bergdahl was described by members of his unit who went public as a deserter, and none came to his defense.
“From the moment Barack Obama assumed the presidency, the conservative meme of Gitmo as the true symbol of toughness and Americanism became encased in concrete,” argues Newsweek’s Eichenwald. “Since the facility was never intended to be a permanent structure, it’s starting to fall apart. Take just the troop quarters, where the soldiers responsible for running Gitmo are housed: According to the Senate report, the rooms are overcrowded; the air conditioning is wheezing; the metal support structure is dilapidated; and the plumbing is corroding.”
In a similar vein, Savage reports that “the unit that houses the most notorious detainees is built on unstable ground—a floor is described as buckling—and will need replacement for any long-term use. In the kitchen building, temperatures soar to 110 degrees at midday, steel supports are corroded, and workers must cover dry goods with plastic tarps during storms because of a leaky roof. In the troops’ quarters, some guards are required to live six to a small shack, with poor ventilation and no attached bathrooms.”
And, while both Eichenwald and Savage cast the medical facilities and others at Guantamo as inadequate, they conveniently forget the $750,000 soccer field that was built there and the hunger strike participants’ ability to play video games and watch movies while the facility managers try to ensure their survival. As they’ve already proven, ISIS would hardly treat any of us as well should they capture or detain us within the areas that they dominate.
