Folks, this crap has gotten serious. Our fellow Americans, black and white, are suffering and even dying because the elites in politics and the mainstream media have been selling false narratives (lies) to black youths for decades.
A recent article exposed the unreported phenomenon that mobs of hundreds of black youths are wreaking havoc in major cities, attacking innocent whites, including old men and women. http://bit.ly/1r146VO They are stealing and destroying property at will; without getting arrested I might add. Why are these black youths so filled with racial hate? Why do they feel justified in their actions?
I throw the blame at the feet of the elites with big stages and big microphones who hate America as founded; the let’s-help-Obama-fundamentally-transform the country crowd. Using their powerful platforms in public schools, Hollywood, TV and news outlets, elites have been spreading their evil gospel of victimhood, division and hate.
When you consistently tell black kids via the media and in class rooms that white men and cops exploit every opportunity to shoot them, that all opposition to Obama’s agenda is racially motivated, that all wealth was stolen from the poor, that all of their failures and woes are due to white privilege, how on earth could you not expect black youths to hate whites and feel justified taking back everything stolen from them?
We whine about MSM bias. But the problem is far more physically dangerous and tyrannical. How long will we allow self-important elite vipers to control us, dictating what is acceptable public opinion via their consensus, bullying Americans into submission?
Everyone knows if you dare challenge the elites’ view of an issue, your derriere is grass. It has gotten really outrageous and scary, folks. If you buck these people, you risk total destruction, the loss of your job or your career. And for good measure, they drench you with a bucket of foul smelling public humiliation.
No longer are Americans allowed to think or behave according to our conscience or faith. Elites all over TV have decreed that we commoners must surrender our will to them. Period.
A few examples.
The elites’ consensus is pro football player Adrian Peterson spanking his child with a switch is child abuse, and they are demanding that Peterson pay dearly. Most members of the elite believe you should never spank a child.
Proverbs 23:13 says, “Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish them with the rod, they will not die.”
When I was a kid, Mr. Charley abused his grandson Charles, and all us kids in the neighborhood knew it. All us neighborhood kids were spanked by our parents with belts and switches, but Charles endured beatings.
One Sunday morning, I did something worthy of a spanking. Dad did not want to spank me before preaching his sermon at church. He promised to deliver justice after church.
I completely forgot dad’s promise and was enjoying a delightful Sunday afternoon when dad summoned me to their bedroom. He fulfilled his promise. What a dirty trick. Just kidding — my dad was and still is wonderful.
The elite take everything to the ultimate extreme to intimidate people into agreeing with them or keeping their mouth shut. Any TV pundit not jumping on the elites’ Adrian-Peterson-is-a-child-abuser bandwagon is accused of contributing to the abuse of children.
Since 1933, the Washington, DC pro football team has been called the Redskins. Out of the blue, the elites’ have deemed the name as offensive as calling blacks the n-word. Wimpy sportscasters have vowed to no long say the name on the air. For crying out loud dudes, grow a spine.
Elites have decided that anything less than 100% public embrace of homosexuality is hate speech. So when Superbowl-winning coach Tony Dungy said he would not have selected the first homosexual player because the media circus would cause a huge distraction in the locker room, elites went crazy. They verbally bludgeoned Dungy and figuratively dragged his carcass through the MSM streets branding him a Christian hater.
Elites have zero tolerance for the slightest push back or disagreement once they have established their consensus on an issue.
Then there is the Ray and Janay Rice incident. The elites are demanding the head of Ray Rice delivered to them on a silver platter.
Elites are vilifying fans, incensed that they would display such insolence by wearing Rice jerseys and advocating that Rice not be banned from pro football for life. Perhaps fans are requesting a little mercy for Rice because they remember crazy, stupid, impulsive mistakes they made in their youth. I remember my stuff. But let’s not go there. Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” (John 8:7)
Check out the suffering in these comments from Mrs Rice.
“No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options (sic) from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his ass off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific (sic).”
Is this young couple receiving any sympathy from holier-than-thou paragons of compassion among the elites? No. Their attitude is screw you, Mr and Mrs Rice. This is our opportunity to extort money from the NFL and further our false narrative that women, like blacks, are routinely beaten and abused in America.
When will more Americans “get it” that the elites believe America is the greatest evil on the planet?
Rest assured, the elites will read my comments regarding Mr and Mrs Rice and attempt to brand me a hater of women. My beautiful wonderful wife of 38 years will tell them to get a life.
Do you see what we are up against folks? A 50-foot killer elite monster dictates what we can say publicly. This extremely viscous beast crushes challengers while devouring our freedom of speech and controls our behavior. The elites go happily on their way to their next A-list event, ignoring the destruction left behind in the wake of their violence and hate inspiring rhetoric (lies).
It is crucial that we stay alert and not buy into the elites’ spin or be intimidated into embracing their mandated opinions on issues.
Quoting Nancy Reagan, it is time to “just say no!”

The Council has spoken, the votes have been cast and the results are in for this week’s Watcher’s Council match-up.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. — Winston Churchill
Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory. — George S. Patton
He who wishes to fight must first count the cost. When you engage in actual fighting, if victory is long in coming, then men’s weapons will grow dull and their ardor will be dampened. If you lay siege to a town, you will exhaust your strength. Again, if the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain. Now, when your weapons are dulled, your ardor dampened, your strength exhausted and your treasure spent, other chieftains will spring up to take advantage of your extremity. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that must ensue… In war, then, let your great object be victory, not lengthy campaigns. — Sun Tzu, the Art of War
There was a tie this week between The Noisy Room, with The Bear And The Dragon Encircle The Eagle, and Bookworm Room’s Socialized medicine and passive-aggressive genocide. As the official tie breaker (and because her piece is simply fantastic), I award this week’s winning entry to Bookworm’s – Socialized medicine and passive-aggressive genocide, which lays bare the evil agenda of the State concerning end of life decisions. It is a tremendous expose on how Progressivism does not care about the individual, it cares about the Collective and the bottom line. Here’s a slice:
Long ago in China, a boy coming home from school met up with his father, who was carrying on his back a basket holding the boy’s grandfather.
“Oh, father,” asked the boy, “where are you taking Honorable Grandfather?”
The father signaled that the boy should come closer, and then whispered in his ear, “I’m taking grandfather up to the waterfall. If I throw him over the edge suddenly, death will greet him so quickly, it will be painless.”
Aghast, the boy asked, “Why would you do that to Honorable Grandfather?”
“Because I must,” his father whispered back. “Honorable grandfather is too old to help in the field or around the house. Instead, he just sits in the corner, eating our food, drinking our tea, and requiring us to care for his needs. A quick, painless death will be better for everyone.”
The son nodded sagely upon hearing his father’s words. Then, as he turned to continue the walk home, the boy reminded his father of one thing. “Dear father, please make sure to bring the basket back, because I’ll need it for you one day.”
Although I was only around 12 when I first read that story, it resonated with me. Aside from admiring the boy’s cleverness, I was so grateful that I didn’t live in a country in which poor people had to make those kinds of choices. I didn’t realize back then that it would take a mere forty years for my country to creep ever closer to justifying the genocide of the old and the sick. Even more ironically, I didn’t realize that this ugly choice would come about, not because individual poor people could no longer afford to care for their elders, but because our own government has decided that the nation as a whole should no longer care for its old people.
Old people certainly requiring a lot of care. With every passing year, our bodies become more fragile. While we love seeing videos showing very old people doing amazing physical feats, the reality for most people is that the journey to old age is marked by one bodily system after another breaking down. Our skin’s breakdown is the most immediately demoralizing (“I look so old”), but the real damage from aging happens under our skin, as our joints, muscles, and internal organs just stop working very well. Eventually, every cold has the potential for pneumonia; every fall has the potential to end in a broken hip; every chest pain could be a heart attack; and the joint pains that slowed us down in our 50s can render us immobile by our 70s.
Modern medicine, thankfully, can do a lot to ward off some of aging’s worst effects. Putting aside plastic surgery, which heals the spirit not the body, modern medicine offers everything from quick diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia; to hip repairs so effective that the old person can be home in a day or two, rather than confined to a wheelchair or hospital bed for weeks; to an amazing array of heart treatments, whether pills, pacemakers, bypasses, or transplants; and joint fixes that range from pills, to shots, to surgery, to replacement. All of these are the wonders and miracles of the modern age . . . and all of them are very expensive.

In our non-Council category, the winner was Angelo Codevilla at The Federalist with Washington’s Ruling Class Is Fooling Itself About The Islamic State, submitted by Joshuapundit. Codevilla bluntly, succinctly and masterfully spells out how our elite ruling class fails at eradicating the enemy — the Islamic State, while stirring up more hatred for America abroad. This cancerous flaw in foreign policy strategy is endemic on both sides of the political aisle. Do read it.

For logic-minded Americans still genuinely puzzled as to how it could be that our presidents and secretaries of state and generals and pundits keep hammering home the big lie that Islam has nothing to do with jihad, that the religion of conquest is a “religion of peace,” I have a special warning. Such widespread, politics- and mass-media-driven brainwashing is nothing new.
Just as today’s opinion-makers seek to divorce Islam from its impact — for example, brutal conquest, forced conversion, religiously sanctioned sex slavery, beheadings — past opinion-makers worked equally hard to divorce communism from its impact — for example, brutal conquest, forced collectivization, concentration camps (Gulags), mass murder.
It worked. Unlike Nazism, communism has never been judged guilty or even held responsible for the carnage and suffering it has caused. On the contrary, it remains a source of “liberal” statist ideas such as Obamacare. My book “American Betrayal” delves deeply into this dangerous double standard. In short, it not only enables collectivist policies to strangle our remnant republic, but also explains why American students can find a drink called Leninade, emblazoned with a hammer and sickle, for sale on a college campus. It is also why silkscreens of Warhol’s Chairman Mao, history’s top mass murderer, are sought-after items for the homes of the wealthy.
There are no such trendy portraits of Hitler, and who would want them? Who would want to swig a bottle of Hitlerpop, decorated with a swastika? So, why Leninade? Not only does the stench of death not follow the Communist murder-cult, the brand lives.
Barring a groundswell of common sense, I predict that Islam, the brand, will most likely remain separate in the public mind from the violence and repression it causes and has caused for more than a millennium. That’s certainly the direction leaders from both political parties have been relentlessly herding us in for over a decade, insisting against all reason — against all sacred Islamic texts — that “Islam is peace.”
This means that not only must we contend with this cycle of expansionist jihad — a recurrence that should be familiar from Islamic history were it, too, not subject to whitewash — we must simultaneously withstand a campaign of lies designed to subvert our understanding of how Islam, in fact, has everything to do with beheadings and other violence both in the Islamic world and in the West.
And yes, such whitewashing has happened before. Stalin’s Red Army occupied half of Europe at the end of World War II, but Americans were told they had won the war and that “Uncle Joe” was a great guy. Then there is the whitewash of the transformation the Cold War wrought at home, where agents, agents of influence, fellow travelers, and dupes worked to advance Moscow’s will just as Soviet tanks (and agents, too) imposed it abroad. The conventional wisdom, however, set forth by academics, historians, think tank analysts, journalists, filmmakers (whether “liberal” or “conservative”), remains suspended in the amber of the “Red Scare,” the 1950s period during which anti-Communist “witch-hunters” searched for “Reds under the bed,” allegedly in vain. Never mind that many hundreds of American traitors had infiltrated the federal government in previous decades. The important thing, says the conventional wisdom, is not to connect the dots and examine whether these proxies for Stalin influenced the “American Century.”
That, of course, is exactly what “American Betrayal” does, thus enraging all keepers of conventional wisdom. No matter. The more I continue to learn about the extensive penetration by Stalin’s secret agents into the federal government over the two decades that FDR and then Harry Truman held the Oval Office, the clearer it is that the American ship of state had too many hands loyal to the USSR pushing at the rudder, influencing, to varying degrees, the direction of U.S. policy and strategy, even if not especially during World War II.
Such is the once-hidden history that comes into closer focus since the U.S. and Russian governments released some subset of their vast secret archives — intelligence documents, FBI files and the like. Reigning “court historians” keep looking the other way, hoping Americans never notice the big picture: that FDR presided over the biggest national security disaster in U.S. history, the massive infiltration of the U.S. government by agents of a foreign power.
Ken Burns’ new PBS documentary, “The Roosevelts,” typifies this blackout. For example, take the series’ treatment of the Yalta Conference, the final meeting of the so-called Big Three wartime leaders. Old news footage shows the conference table, from Stalin to FDR to Churchill. The camera also shows a man who sure looks like Soviet military intelligence agent and U.S. State Department official Alger Hiss. Next to him is top White House aide and, according to some experts, Soviet agent or asset Harry Hopkins. Both men are seated behind the dupe-ish secretary of state Edward Stettinius.
Does Burns inform viewers of the identities of these notorious figures seemingly “boring from within” before the viewer’s eyes? Does he note the existence of scholarship confirming covert agent Hiss’ outspoken role at the conference, and evidence that he may have exerted influence over deliberations on China policy, war reparations including German slave labor, and other vital issues in the USSR’s favor? Is there any mention of the troubling questions about Hopkins’ single-mindedly pro-Soviet stance that caused George C. Marshall to describe “Hopkins’ job with the president” as being “to represent the Russian interests”?
Silence. Or rather, Burnsian chatter about the big secret of Yalta being FDR’s grave health — something obvious to anyone who looked at him. The series’ ultimate mission is accomplished, however. A re-gilded FDR is burnished to a starry sheen, blinding a worshipful audience.
Is that what history is for?
