‘Stolen Lives Quilt’ comes to Michigan

By: Dick Manasseri
WatchDog Wire

stolenlivesYou might not realize that untold number of Americans have already been killed by illegal aliens.

You certainly wouldn’t have heard that from the mainstream media.

stolenlives1The Remembrance Project is bringing national attention to these under-reported killings through its “Stolen Lives Quilt” dedicated to slain Americans.

The quilt is a visual memorial to the memory of ordinary Americans that have been killed by illegal aliens.

The national tour is now in Michigan: Lansing, Rochester Hills, Caro, Flint, Bay City, and Vassar.

Maria Espinoza, founder & national director for The Remembrance Project, reminds us that, “There is a death toll to progressive policies like amnesty and open borders. Lives of moms, dads, and children are being stolen by criminals and gangs from the Third World that now live within our open borders.”

Each story of murder is terrifying, but more so now, because known criminals and gangs are entering America as a result of the immigration policy of Barack Obama, who last year released 36,000 convicted criminal aliens from detention, and the push for amnesty by Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder.

Politicians may value the new voters even if they are not quite kosher.

But, Americans, especially American women with children, value lives safe from Third World violence and disease.

Ebola, beheadings, children dying from the EV-68 virus, lone wolf jihadists, and attacks on soldiers and police by illegals are now screaming from our own headlines as reminders that this “isn’t Kansas anymore.”

Democratic Party: America’s Resident Evil

By: Lloyd Marcus

A New York Times article exposed that the Democrats are expecting to have their clocks cleaned in the election in a week or so. Democrats believe that their only hope is to get out the black vote. http://nyti.ms/1qU7VK2 How do they plan to achieve this? Of course, with their tried and true tactic of race baiting.

In other words, the Democrats and their MSM operatives have launched an all hands on deck deplorable effort to convince black Americans that white Americans are out to suppress and even murder them. Democrats pray that hordes of enraged blacks will forget about how they have suffered under Obama http://bit.ly/1jQGRXp and flock to the polls to vote for Democrats.

In my opinion as a Christian, the Democrats’ hate-whitey-get-out-the-black-vote scheme is a satanic plot conceived by deviant minds. Folks, words can not express my visceral disdain for such shameful politicking. Any media personality or outlet that signs on to the Democrats’ unconscionable plan should be shunned, unworthy of your respect or time.

Admittedly, it appears that I am constantly writing about the Democrats’ attempts to sic black America on white America, especially at election time. Folks, it is because I find the Democrats’ behavior so reprehensibly evil, all the while claiming the moral high ground of possessing superior levels of tolerance and compassion. Borrowing an expression from the kids, “Gag me!”

Equally revolting is the mainstream media’s complicit behavior, assisting the Democrats in their spreading of filth.

So, here is their game plan. Ferguson is ground zero for the Democrats’ Operation Hate Whitey get out the black vote campaign. http://bit.ly/1tJZwQn

Unfortunately for the Democrats, new evidence reveals that Michael Brown did not have his hands up in an attempt to surrender as relentlessly promoted by the Left. Brown’s blood was found inside Officer Wilson’s police car, confirming that Brown did attack the police officer. http://bit.ly/1sZfJP6

Now folks, here is what is so insidiously evil about what the Democrats are doing. The truth and facts do not matter to the Democrats. They are still fully committed to selling the lie to black America that Michael Brown was an innocent “gentle giant” black youth murdered by a white racist police officer. To get deceived black voters to the polls, a Democrat flier says, “If you want to prevent another Ferguson…” http://on-ajc.com/1rpYIJ1 Totally disgusting.

Ponder that for a moment folks. Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. along with other heroes, black and white, fought, suffered and died to bring us together as a nation via mutual respect and equal opportunity. And, what are these deplorable scumbags in the Democratic Party doing? They are ripping us apart to win elections.

All that these divisive evil demons disguised as Democrat politicians and their MSM sycophantic minions only care about is infecting blacks with a victim mindset, which keeps blacks dependent on government, which keeps Democrats fat and happy with power.

I flew to Washington DC the other day for a national press conference launching “Restore the Dream 2014”. I was honored to be included in a coalition of black conservative leaders that will reach-out, touring the black community. We will be sharing the good news of Conservatism to those who have been deceived by Democrats and suffering under Liberalism for decades.

Leading the charge is Niger Innis, the son of civil rights icon Roy Innis and Alveda King, the niece of Dr Martin L. King, Jr. Our coalition includes Star Parker and others. A great team!

And guess who also attended our press conference at the MLK Memorial to let the world know that they have our backs? The answer is Tea Party.net and Tea Party Express. But, how can that be? Haven’t you been told that the Tea Party movement is all about white racist redneck’s disdain for a black president, their ranks filled with hate-filled extremists who want to see blacks hung from trees? Yet, another politically calculated hideous lie perpetrated by Democrats and their collaborators in the mainstream media.

I am not exaggerating folks. A member of the Congressional Black Caucus actually said that the Tea Party wants to see blacks hanging from a tree. http://fxn.ws/ZGUeXK Folks, how much longer will we tolerance these vile disgusting people ginning up, promoting and propagating racial hate? I am soooo sick of the we-must-give-them-a-pass-because-they-are-black crap. Enough, my fellow Americans, enough!

So yes, I have signed on to the “Restore the Dream” tour which will continue at least through the 2016 election.

Somebody needs to push back against the evil lowlife filth that is spewing out of the Democratic Party.

Folks, my dream is to see my fellow black Americans standing tall, filled with the dignity and pride which comes only via personal achievement. I want to see blacks proud to be Americans, acknowledging the truth that they are extremely blessed to be born in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to go for it. I want to see black’s and white’s natural instincts to get along grow freely, unimpeded by Democratic Party hate mongering.

And for this, myself, along with other black conservatives are despised, hated and called traitors to our race.

But that is okay. We are strong, armed with the shield of faith, motivated by love and prepared by God for such a time as this.

Please help us Restore the Dream folks: http://bit.ly/1z1wEED

The Ties That Bind Michael Bloomberg, Qatar and Radical Islam

Terresa Monroe-Hamilton – NoisyRoom.net
William Michael – Qatar Awareness Campaign

Michael Bloomberg, in addition to having been Mayor of New York City and currently being a wealthy elitist Leftist, has ongoing ties to the Islamic world and Qatar. In fact, many of his regulatory moves and his philanthropy efforts are connected to one degree or another with Qatar and Islamic nations, causes and endeavors. Qatar, the reader should be reminded, is the host country of the Muslim Brotherhood and is the primary supporter of the Arab Spring, including the genocidal Islamic State.

Common Core is a huge, Progressive educational implementation in New York City which benefits Microsoft and a host of other businesses. Bloomberg is a major supporter of Common Core and strongly believes in it. So, incidentally (or not), does Qatar. One of Bloomberg’s projects is the Fund for Public Schools, whose primary building block is Common Core. In 2013, Bloomberg Philanthropies donated $1,000,000 or more to this endeavor. George Soros and The Open Society Foundations also donated $1,000,000 or more. Qatar Foundation International, LLC donated somewhere between $100,000 and $499,999. The Qatar Foundation donates to educational causes that directly benefit Islam and Qatar. The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a semi-private chartered, non-profit organization, founded in 1995 by Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Emir (the current Emir is His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani), and his second wife Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned. In addition to private funding, it is government-supported and partly government-funded.

Time Summit on Higher Education - Day 2: Vartan Gregorian, Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Gibbs

Time Summit on Higher Education – Day 2: Vartan Gregorian, Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Gibbs

The links between Bloomberg and the Qatar Foundation go even deeper. Vartan Gregorian and Michael Bloomberg attended the TIME Summit On Higher Education at the Time Warner Center on September 20, 2013 in New York City. This is significant on multiple fronts. Common Core is linked to Connect All Schools. The Department of State has partnered with the Connect All Schools program which is linked to Vartan Gregorian. He in turn, is connected in a myriad of ways to Barack Obama, not the least of which is that he is a member of the White House Fellowship Commission. Gregorian hails from Tabriz, Iran and is currently the President of Carnegie Corporation. More interestingly for Bloomberg is that Gregorian sits on the board of the Qatar Foundation International (QFI).

From Maggie’s Notebook:

The Qatar Foundation International, or QFI, in 2011 partnered with the Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to facilitate matchmaking between classrooms in the U.S. and international schools through something called the “Connect All Schools” project.

QFI, funded by the Qatari government, explains on its website the initiative was founded in response to Obama’s call in his June 2009 speech to the Arab world in Cairo, Egypt, to “create a new online network, so a young person in Kansas can communicate instantly with a young person in Cairo.”

* QFI relates how more than 100 U.S. schools and organizations have already connected on the interactive website. [* Public and Private schools.]

The stated goal of the initiative is to “connect every school in the U.S. with the world by 2016.”…

WND reported last May the Qatar-based foundation awarded “Curriculum Grants” to seven U.S. schools and language organizations to “develop comprehensive and innovative curricula and teaching materials to be used in any Arabic language classroom.”

QFI, based in Washington, D.C., is the U.S. branch of the Qatar Foundation, founded in 1995 by Qatar’s ruling emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Thani is still the group’s vice-chairman, while one of his three wives, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, chairs the organization’s board.

Thani also launched Al Jazeera in 1996 and served as the television network’s chairman. Source: Counter-Jihad Report

In 2012, the nonprofit provided $250,000 for a three-year pilot project for Arabic language at P.S. 368 in Harlem, reports DNA info New York.

More:

The  classes are voluntary this year, but next year, * all second through fifth grade students will be required to take Arabic as part of the curriculum.

The program is the first of its kind in New York City to integrate Arabic into an elementary school curriculum, organizers said.

The classes are a joint program between the Language Project and the Washington, D.C.-based, non-profit Qatar Foundation International.

“This is important because in the near future, Arabic is going to be a global language,” Mamdouh added.

“These kids are like sponges the way they learn the pronunciation and the words.”

[* Emphasis added.]

It should be noted that Arabic grammar is based on the Quran and its verses. When studying Arabic grammar, there is no substitute for studying the Quran. Expecting that the Quran would not be a part of Arabic lessons, is akin to saying that the time-tested grade school “Speller” could be omitted when teaching English.

bloomberg1Bloomberg actively brought Qatar into New York’s classrooms and is forcing Arabic as a language on students via Common Core and the Qatar Foundation International.

Michael Bloomberg was also a supporter of the Ground Zero Mosque (the Cordoba House, which is now Park51 – a three story museum with a worship space). The Cordoba Center would have been a 13-story monument to Islam, that would have housed a bookstore, auditorium, basketball court and a mosque. It would have cost well in excess of $100 million. It was to be built on the site of the former Burlington Coat Factory, whose roof was destroyed by falling debris from the towers on 9/11, just 600 feet from where the towers stood. Set to have replaced the current al-Farah mosque located 12 blocks north in Tribeca, the project was the inspiration of Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, whose father built the enormous 96th St. complex in 1984 and who proclaims himself a peacemaker. The Center earned endorsements from then New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and prominent rabbis, along with funding from the Hunt Alternative Fund, the Carnegie Foundation, the Rockefeller Fund (whose director of grants programs, Taleb Salhab, founded the Coalition for Peace and Justice in Palestine and is the former director of the Palestine Aid Society of America) and the government of Qatar. On the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Bloomberg refused to allow clergy to attend the event. He also did not want the names of those murdered on that fateful day read and he banned first responders on the same anniversary. All in the name of not offending Muslims and Islam.

Bloomberg has also notably instilled variants of Sharia law in NYC via allowing exceptions for prayer times regardless of job affiliation. The Call to Prayer rings out in Manhattan these days as well and the number of mosques in NYC has literally exploded over the last few years. Many of which receive funds from Qatar.

bloomberg3Bloomberg has offices in Doha and across the Middle East. In fact, Bloomberg and Qatar are financially connected in many ways. Witness the Bloomberg Doha Conference. The focus of the joint conference in the past was on the condition of various industries in Middle Eastern countries. The topics of discussion included the state of the economies in these countries, the condition of oil and energy production companies, and industries and companies most suitable for investment in, among other topics.

This year, the Bloomberg Doha Conference will take place from November 3rd through the 4th in Doha, Qatar. The conference will cover areas such as setting the agenda; the global perspective; regional landscape; transition of power; the new Qatari leadership; a conversation with Sir Michael Hintze; Islamic finance; real estate; Saudi energy markets and geopolitics; Iran, Syria and regional political stability; asset allocation; where are the opportunities in the region; traditional versus alternative, wealth preservation for the new generation; World Cup spending and development; regulation and the role this plays for managers looking at the region; investment destinations outside the Middle East and following the money. All of this indicates a strong, intrinsic financial and strategic relationship between Bloomberg and Qatar.

Moreover, Bloomberg and the Qatar Central Bank launched an Interbank Rate in 2012. From Business Wire:

NEW YORK & DOHA, Qatar–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and Bloomberg LP are partnering to launch the first ever Qatar Interbank Offer Rate (QIBOR) fixings in a move aimed at encouraging a more active interbank market in Qatar, executives announced today. Interbank rate fixings are used around the world to provide a daily reference point for banks borrowing unsecured funds from other banks in the local wholesale banking market and this announcement brings Qatar into that market for the first time.

QIBOR, which will use the contributed offer rates quoted by nine panel banks, will be calculated by Bloomberg and published on the QCB website and the Bloomberg Professional® service (QCBQ <GO>) beginning on May 6th at 10:00 a.m. Doha local time and each subsequent business day at the same time. QIBOR fixings for eight different time maturities ranging from overnight to one year will be publicly available each day making market activity transparent to other banks around the world.

HE Sheikh Abdulla Saoud Al Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank, commented, “In establishing the first-ever benchmark interbank rate in Qatar it was vital that we worked with a partner with deep expertise and credibility in this area. Bloomberg is the market leader for financial data and extending our relationship with them will help position Qatar as a growing force in the global financial markets.”

The list of member banks on the QIBOR panel includes Ahli Bank; Al Khalij Commercial Bank; Arab Bank; BNP Paribas; Commercial Bank of Qatar; Doha Bank; International Bank of Qatar; Qatar National Bank; and Standard Chartered Bank which represent the largest local and international banks currently participating in the Qatar interbank market.

Jean-Paul Zammitt, Global Head of Product Development for the Bloomberg Professional service, commented, “With the launch of QIBOR, the Qatar Central Bank is progressively promoting interbank activity in its maturing market. Bloomberg promotes transparency and we continue to work closely with central banks to support and develop their local markets.”

Additionally, Bloomberg has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2011, Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal announced plans to partner with the Bloomberg news service to establish a new Arabic language news channel. Prince Talal’s donations to the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), both part of the US Muslim Brotherhood, as well as his support of the Georgetown University (for more on Qatar and Georgetown, see here) Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (CCMU), run by long-time Muslim Brotherhood supporter Dr. John Esposito, are well documented. In 2008, an Arab business publication reported that Prince Talal had also made numerous financial contributions to a pan-Islamic interfaith dialog organization that is closely tied to the global Muslim Brotherhood and which has an anti-Semitic statement posted on its website. In March of 2008, the Kingdom Foundation established by Prince Talal was one of the sponsors of a conference held by the World Congress of Muslim Philanthropists (WCMP), a new international Islamic philanthropic organization with strong Muslim Brotherhood representation. So, to partner with Talal, is to partner with the Muslim Brotherhood.

In my recent article, “The Brookings Institution and Qatar — The Money, Power and Influence Behind Global Terror,” I discussed how American think tanks are indeed, acting like, and at the behest of, foreign agents. Their influence and direction is directly controlled by those funding them such as Qatar, a known sponsor of terrorism worldwide. So, it is no surprise that Leonid Bershidsky at Bloomberg View takes exception with that viewpoint:

The U.S. should hang on to what differentiates it from repressive regimes like Putin’s, and lightly applied FARA legislation is one such differentiator. The U.S. government shouldn’t care who funds research, or sponsors events at which U.S. officials sit next to those from foreign countries. What matters is whether rival points of view also get a hearing.

Wrong. You cannot use a monster such as Putin as cover to deal with other monsters such as Qatar and justify it as ‘differentiation.’ We should certainly care who funds our think tanks and rival points of view should not be considered when they come from terrorists and murderers. As we have seen in science, “funding” very much drives the conclusions of research; in the same way “funding” will drive the conclusions of conferences and think tanks.

Michael Bloomberg has said of his work on gun safety, obesity and smoking cessation: “I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close.” Unfortunately, he does not specify which God or heaven he is referring to. But it is comforting that he seems to “know the mind of God.”

You can also see the money trail leading to Qatar, etc. concerning Bloomberg’s Nanny State initiatives. One of these, the banning of smoking indoors, fits in with Islam as the use of tobacco is haram (i.e., forbidden). For instance, the Nigerian Islamist group – Boko Haram, established by a Qatari proxy who now resides in Doha – executed two people recently for smoking. Bloomberg partnered with the Turkish AKP, an Islamist party hostile to Israel and secular Turks, to seriously curtail smoking in that country, just as he did in New York City:

Crowing about the success of Bloomberg Philanthropies’ anti-smoking campaign in Turkey recently, he said that “Turkey is a great example, and it can be translated to other countries.” BP has been working with the Turkish government since 2009, when its nationwide public smoking ban first went into effect. According to the World Health Organization’s 2013 report on the “Global Tobacco Epidemic”–also funded by BP–smoking in Turkey decreased from 16 million adults in 2008 to 14.8 million in 2013.

In Turkey, where terrorism reigns and encroaching and aggressive Sharia law continues to oppose basic human rights, Bloomberg is fighting a war on smoking. For instance, Turkey leads the world in imprisoned journalists. Ironic, since Bloomberg fancies himself the ultimate journalist and businessman. This is a country at the forefront of a rising Caliphate — one in which Christians and Jews are especially persecuted for their religious views. Bloomberg Philanthropies have spent over $600 million on tobacco control advocacy and research since 2007. Speaking to a group of anti-smoking activists in Turkey earlier this summer, Bloomberg joked that his philanthropy may win him a Nobel prize. Yes, because an award dripping in blood is a prized possession and all that.

Bloomberg’s deep ties to Islamic tyrants, their countries and their money should disqualify him from being considered for any position related to national security, especially Secretary of Defense. But this is the Obama Administration and background checks are only for those that are politically unacceptable to the regime. Michael Bloomberg, who has no military experience whatsoever, was considered by Robert Gates as a possible Pentagon successor. Of course, Gates also considered Hillary Clinton, Colin Powell and Leon Panetta. All of them security risks, Panetta and his Marxist history won out and the rest is Progressive history. It is noteworthy that Gates was the President of Texas A&M when they established a satellite campus in Doha in 2003, completely funded by the Qatar Foundation.

As for Bloomberg’s contributions to and the enforcement of the green movement in New York… Qatar and Bloomberg both push the faux emergency state of climate change. It benefits them both financially and in seeking global power shifts. Qatar, a major supplier of natural gas and to a lesser extent, oil, would rather see the world voluntarily starve itself of domestically produced energy.

The ties that bind Michael Bloomberg, Qatar and radical Islam together are deep, murky and complex. As always… follow the money and the quest for power. You will find those such as Bloomberg cozying up to terrorist states such as Qatar for their 30 pieces of silver.

Qatar Awareness Campaign – Miramax @StopQatarNow

QATAR AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Harvey and Bob Weinstein
c/o Miramax Films
375 Greenwich St.
New York, NY 10013

Dear Harvey and Bob Weinstein:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. The film company you founded, Miramax, is largely owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, the sovereign wealth fund operated by the Qatari state. Qatar has proven itself the primary sponsor of terror and genocide in the Middle East and North Africa.

In 2010, Disney sold Miramax to Filmyard Holdings, a joint investment group which included the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), private equity company Colony Capital and construction company Tutor-Saliba Corporation. QIA was the largest shareholder. In January 2013, Ron Tutor of Tutor-Saliba sold his stake in Miramax to the Qatar Investment Authority, leaving Miramax in the hands of Colony Capital and Qatar exclusively.

Although you two had left Miramax for a time, in December 2013 Miramax announced a 20 year deal with The Weinstein Company for “a multi-year co-production and co-distribution deal covering movies, TV and stage for titles in the Miramax library.” This reunites the company with its founders; and unites the Weinstein brothers, Miramax and Qatar – a prolific state sponsor of terrorism across North Africa and the Middle East – in one corporate entity.

So the public understands how conflicts of interests occur when terrorist financing commingles with Hollywood, here are some more facts concerning Miramax, Qatar, al Qaeda and other revolutionary and murderous movements:

  • In 2010, the Weinstein Company, produced Miral, a movie about a Palestinian orphan. The film was criticized by many as pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel and the journalist Daniel Greenfield called it a “terrorist propaganda flick.”
  • In 2004, Miramax released the Michael Moore film Fahrenheit 9/11, which pushed the specious idea that then-President George W. Bush was somehow involved with the September 11 attacks. It’s hard to imagine a better piece of terrorist propaganda and disinformation.
  • Miramax has a history of distributing films by the Spanish director Pedro Almodovar. Miramax distributed two of Almodovar’s movies in the early 1990s, Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! and High Heels.
  • One of Almodovar’s actresses for a period of time was Maria Ayuso. This “chica Almodovar” later married Abu Dahbah, the Al Qaeda mastermind of the Madrid train bombings in 2004.
  • Abu Dahbah was also acquainted with Abu Musab al-Suri, a Syrian who once resided in Spain and one of the most prolific authors of jihad for Al Qaeda.

Additionally, Qatar is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell and profits from operating a virtual slave state. The Arab Spring, a Qatari and American-backed program to install Islamists across the Middle East and North Africa, has led to a veritable diplomatic “ crisiswith Israel. John Kerry’s attempt to force Qatar’s (who backed Hamas) hatched peace terms on Israel, has caused the only democracy in the region to question America’s allegiance to their security.

The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar’s activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.

After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to exert due influence on the Qatari government and the Muslim Brotherhood to cease any type of involvement in all forms of Islamic terrorism, slavery, and drug trafficking!

Sincerely,

Forum: Will The Republicans Take The Senate And What Will That Mean?

The Watcher’s Council

Every week on Monday morning, the Council and our invited guests weigh in at the Watcher’s Forum with short takes on a major issue of the day, the culture or daily living. This week’s question: Will The Republicans Take The Senate And What Will That Mean?

The Independent Sentinel: I think they will take the Senate – barely.

It means getting rid of Harry Reid though he promises to still be around. Republicans can stop the judicial appointments.

If Barack Obama gives amnesty of any kind to millions of people, I’d like to see the Senate move for impeachment.

I don’t have a lot of faith that they’ll do anything. They’ll say they can’t do anything until they win the presidency which they won’t win at this rate.

GrEaT sAtAn”S gIrLfRiEnD: Republicans need six seats to regain control of the Senate chamber.

And they’re going to get them. GOP will end up with a 53 over 47 majority. Even if the Nov election yields two runoffs in GA and or LA – the GOP will win them.

Three Democratic-held states already appear to be Republican pick ups column: Montana, South Dakota, and West Virginia. If the GOP can hang on to Georgia and Kentucky, they would need to pick up just three more to win the majority. And there are a few different pathways that get them there.

Republicans avoided the selection of flawed, stumble-prone candidates. This has boosted Republicans’ prospects in several races — for now.

One of the most recent examples came in Alaska last week, when Republicans nominated Dan Sullivan to take on Democratic Sen. Mark Begich. Sullivan is leading by 4.6 percentage points in the RCP average in a very Red state.

In Colorado, Republican Rep. Cory Gardner is consistently leading Democrat incumbent Sen. Mark Udall despite months of negative ads targeting him. And in Iowa, Another example of the same dynamic comes in Iowa, where Joni Ernst continues to hold a small 2 point lead over Democrat Bruce Braley.

Republicans’ best hopes rest in states Mitt Romney won in 2012: Arkansas, North Carolina, Alaska and Louisiana.

Races in the first two are virtually tied. In Louisiana, Mary Landrieu leads the Republican field by several points, but she falls behind Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy by one point in December runoff matchups (the likely scenario if no one clears the 50 percent mark on Nov. 4). Both Landrieu and Mark Pryor in Arkansas have long-standing, well-respected legacies in their states (both have featured their popular fathers in ads)but in Arkansas Tom Cotton is leading Pryor by an RCP average of 5 points and Landrieu is likely to fall a victim to the probably GOP nominee, Bill Cassidy.

The same is true in Georgia, where there’s also a three way race going on between Michelle Nunn, Republican David Perdue and Libertarian Amanda Swafford, whose currently averaging about 3% of the vote. While the race is tied now, Nunn’s unlikely to get the 51% she needs to win and since most of the Libertarian vote is coming from people who would likely vote Republican otherwise, a run off where Swafford would be eliminated favors Perdue.

Current events could also shape the landscape. Some Democrats in tough re-elections have voiced significant concern about the prospect of 44 using executive action to curb deportations, thus bypassing Congress. Foreign policy, with the situations in Iraq, Gaza and elsewhere in the Middle East, could also play a role in some races where a pro-defense candidate is on the ticket or in states with a strong military presence.

The Glittering Eye: Although I have been predicting that Democrats will hold the Senate for the better part of the last year, I now doubt that will be the outcome. As things look today after the elections a week from Tuesday Republicans are likely to hold 49 seats outright. Two seats are toss-ups (Colorado and Kansas) and are likely to go into run-offs (Georgia and Louisiana). When the dust has settled the Republicans will take an additional two seats, Colorado and Louisiana which will give them control of the Senate.

The more interesting question is what they’ll do with control of the Congress and on that subject I have no idea. I can say what I think they should do. I think the new Congressional leadership should immediately request a meeting with the president. If the president rejects the overture, they’ll have their answer. If he accepts, they should extend an olive branch and present a list of bills, supported by the new caucus and substantial public opinion, that he should be able to agree to as well. If he rebuffs them, again, they’ll have their answer. If he’s agreeable there’s a chance for some progress. I do not expect the president to be a gracious loser.

JoshuaPundit: There’s no question that in terms of how it looks right now, the map favors Republicans. I think we can pretty much concede them taking West Virginia, Montana, South Dakota and Arkansas, all states where President Barack Hussein Obama is tremendously unpopular I also expect them to take Alaska and Iowa, As far as the actual end results go there are two factors that can’t be underestimated; rampant voter fraud and ‘Libertarian’ or ‘Independent’ third party candidates funded by Democrats and designed to siphon off just enough votes to allow the Democrat to squeeze through.

There are currently third party candidates of this type in Louisiana, Georgia, South Dakota, and North Carolina, and with the exception of Larry Pressler in South Dakota, they all are sopping up between 3 and 5% of the vote. We all saw this tactic used in the Virginia governor’s race and enough people who would ordinarily vote Republican were bamboozled by it to hand a win to Democrat Terry McAuliffe. One would hope many of them would have learned there lesson by now, but apparently not, and it could very well cost the GOP Kay Hagen’s seat in North Carolina, although I think if Georgia and Louisiana go to run off elections, this tactic by itself will probably not be enough to put Mary Landrieu back in the Senate and give Michelle Nunn a win in Georgia.

The other consideration is voter fraud. Expect that to occur in any close election where there are large amounts of illegal aliens or blacks in an urban setting, especially where voter ID laws have been stalled with suits  by the Obama Administration’s Justice Department.Colorado, for instance, is essentially voter fraud heaven with mailed ballots to everyone, major obstacles to getting anyone off the rolls, no ID checks and door to door ACORN style ‘ballot harvesters’, Cory Gardner is ahead in the polls and this should be a GOP pickup, but unless he  wins by a large enough majority don’t be surprised if Mark Udall triumphs in a very smelly travesty of an election.

North Carolina is another state where I expect blatant voter fraud to be an issue. I don’t expect it in Alaska, South Dakota  or Iowa, simply because there aren’t that many black or Latino residents and these states are lacking the sort of urban enclaves you find in many Blue states where voter fraud is so endemic.

I expect Kansas and Kentucky to be GOP holds simply because Mitch McConnell has the clout to bring in enough  resources to ensure his own survival and will likely do the same for Pat Roberts, an old friend and political soul mate of of long standing.

Assuming I’m right about all this, the numbers work out to 51-48 if the GOP loses Kansas but holds Kentucky and Georgia and the Dems hold North Carolina, New Hampshire and Colorado. If the GOP manages to take Colorado and hold Kansas, 53-47.

As to what it means? Look for the president and the lame duck congress to use the time between Election day and January 22nd to totally poison the waters before the new senate takes over. I expect the president to outrage the incoming congress and the nation with (a) a mass amnesty for illegal aliens by executive order and (b) a new, radical Attorney General, (most likely Thomas Perez) to be shoved through by Reid and the lame duck senate using the nuclear option, along with any other appointments and nonsense they feel can push through. I would not even be surprised to see one or two Supreme Court Justices suddenly ‘resign’ under blackmail by the White House to allow this president to pack the court with radical leftists.

If we put up with it, the shame is ours.

2008 Democrat Presidential Candidate and political guru and handicapper Weekend Monkey: First off, I wanna protest I wasn’t paid extra for this wisdom… talk about blackmail, geez!

I made some assessments in my last column based on what was up at that time, along with a hoo-miliating revelation or two about my tenure with Elizabeth Warren, yadda yadda. Here are some updates.

I still see Kansas as tighter than a baboon’s butt and too close to call, and ditto on New Hampshire. No calls in either race, although my gut tells me Shaheen will manage to win in New Hampshire. Kansas could end up being a spoiler but I’m waiting to see what happens a little close to the election before I post odds. I still call North Carolina for Kay Hagen as a Democrat hold, 3 to 1 with 6 to 3 on Tillis to win. I see Colorado as a big surprise, 2-1 for Mark Udall once the votes are counted our way, y’know. I’ll take your money on Gardner at 3-1 since he’s the fave,  and remember, three points for the vig,no exceptions.

I also wouldn’t be surprised to see my Democrats hold Louisiana . Weird stuff happens in NOLA, La’ Charles and even Baton Rouge, and Landrieu knows how to make that kind of stuff happen.Again, no call, but Landrieu knows that she has to avoid a runoff against Cassidy to win.

I figure the repugs take Arkansas, West Virginia, Montana, Alaska and Iowa. They’ll hold Kentucky too, and Georgia if it goes to run off, but I have a feeling it might not based on what my Democrats can do with turnout in Atlanta. The losertarian will take away rethug votes and if a lotta votes come in from Atlanta, wink wink, Nunn might squeeze through.2 gets you 3 on Nunn.

If my Democrats take Colorado, Georgia, Kansas and Louisiana they hold the senate. Even if they lose one of them, it’s a split senate which means they win anyways with lotsa laughs from Vice Prez Giggles. If the Repugs take both Georgia and Louisiana, it’s still a 51-49 senate, and we all know the Repugs don’t vote in a bloc.

So it all means  nada, zero, zilch for two years with a whole bunch of infighting between the Bamster, the Repugs and my Democrats to see who can sling poop the fastest and climb a little higher up the tree. Ain’t politics fun?!?.

Later, Primates.
