Flooding the Nation with ‘Syrian Refugees’: American Lives Matter

The serially dishonest administration, represented abysmally by Haute Moron Secretary of State, John Kerry, has haughtily announced that for FY 2016, starting October 1, the administration is raising the refugee cap from its previous 70,000 to 85,000, this year, and up to 100,000 next year, all to make room for Syrian “refugees.” Two weeks ago he told members of Congress the administration wanted to bring in 10,000 Syrians. Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley responded with a letter asking Kerry to clarify.
The administration initially proposed raising the cap to 75,000, but Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration, Ann Richard admitted they might add “more later.” The refugee resettlement industry, which makes about $1 billion/year placing refugees in our communities, is lobbying for 200,000, including 100,000 Syrians. Even Moveon.org has joined the campaign.
Additionally, Obama promised to use other avenues, like parole, asylum and temporary protected status to allow more Syrians. Grassley reminded them that they did not have independent authority to do this. Increasing the cap requires consultation with Congress by law. As it turns out, the law also requires hearings – which to this point Congress has never deemed necessary. Perhaps it’s time for a change.
The FBI has said it cannot vet Syrians for jihadi connections or sympathies because Syria is a “failed state.” Even Obama’s own Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, has said that the threat of ISIS infiltrating America by hiding among Syrian refugees is a “huge concern.” ISIS has very publicly warned it will do just that and claims to have 4,000 fighters in Western Europe already. Even among Syrian refugees, a fifth claim ISIS is a positive influence in the world! Warnings have been issued that 2 in every 100 Syrian refugees is an ISIS fighter. Do the math, of 15,000 that would equate to 300 members of ISIS here in the U.S.
Despite these facts, in an almost surreal display of ignorance, defiance, carelessness, vindictiveness, or perhaps some combination, Secretary Richard has said that the vetting process for Syrians will be “streamlined.” The Pope, who is rapidly revealing himself to be of the Liberation Theology (i.e. Marxist) persuasion, will almost certainly use his visit this week to shame Congress into taking Syrians.
Do American lives matter at all to these people? That is actually a rhetorical question at this point. The answer is plainly a resounding “no.” A column at Allen West’s website pointed out yesterday that the administration can’t afford to shell out $100 million to provide bullet proof glass for Marine recruiting offices, despite the recent Chattanooga murder of four Marines and a Sailor. Yet the benefits gladly afforded “refugees” amount to significantly more than that.
Refugees jump to the front of the line for all welfare available to Americans and some we can’t even get. Following is a laundry list of promised benefits to arriving refugees:
- a furnished home
- help with rent
- health care
- nutritious, affordable food
- English language classes
- help building job, computer & financial literacy skills
- education for their children
- social services and community support
- legal services toward residency & citizenship”
As a result of this preferential treatment, the wait list for public housing in Manchester, NH, for example, has jumped from a few weeks to five years. But not for refugees. They are placed immediately. And as we have seen, the refugee population is increasingly toxic — a huge number are Muslims and many are turning to terrorism. The American Somali Muslim population is fertile recruiting ground for ISIS and other terrorist groups. The Chattanooga shooter’s family originally settled in the U.S. as refugees. And now the administration plans to bring in a group of people guaranteed to seed ISIS operatives among our communities? Mall beheadings and mass shootings anyone? More “workplace violence?”
This cannot stand.
With its usual stupidity, Congressional leadership has evaded the appropriations process and will attempt to avoid a government shutdown by passing a continuing resolution (CR) prior to the start of the fiscal year. That is 10 days away.
We hereby demand Congress insert a one-line provision in the CR:
No funding shall be provided for bringing Syrians into the U.S. under any program.
I urge you to call the GOP House and Senate Appropriations Committees, their Chairmen and members, House and Senate leadership, and your GOP reps and senators. Unfortunately the Democrats have already boldly signaled their contempt for America. They are a lost cause.

It’s time once again for the Watcher’s Council’s ‘Weasel Of The Week’ nominations, where we pick our choices to compete for the award of the famed Golden Weasel to a public figure who particularly deserves to be slimed and mocked for his or her dastardly deeds during the week. The Noisy Room: My nominee this week is the mainstream media for attacking Trump, Carson and Cruz on the, “Is Obama a Muslim?” issue. Behold, the ultimate Freudian slip where Obama quoted his ‘Muslim faith.’ That was in 2008 and I would say that most Americans now believe Obama is actually a Muslim. It’s politically incorrect to say so, but there it is. In 2012, Ed Klein came forward and pointed out that the Reverend Jeremiah Wright said he “made it comfortable” for Obama to accept Christianity without having to renounce Islam. That is one of the cruxes of Liberation Theology. Drudge linked to the now infamous slip by Obama. The media claims to have examined every facet of the possibility of Obama being Muslim. Except they did not look at his Islamic roots or leanings – at all. Let me ask you this… what has Obama done that makes you think he isn’t a Muslim? Hmmm? It’s almost as if they are laying the groundwork for Obama to ‘come out of the closet’ as being a Muslim at some point, or having a sudden conversion. It was a trap laid for conservative Republicans who disappointed the MSM by telling the truth.
I want to quote my friend William Palumbo of the USA Transnational Report: “So what if Obama has a Muslim father, has a Muslim stepfather, has a Muslim first name, has a Muslim middle name, went to a Muslim school in Indonesia as a child, registered as a Muslim, often attended a mosque with his Muslim stepfather in Indonesia, had his Harvard tuition paid for by a Muslim, went out of his way to find Muslim roommates during college, has repeatedly funded the radical terrorist group the Muslim Brotherhood, has invited members of the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House, has Muslim Brotherhood members in his cabinet, was endorsed in 2008 by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas, told the head of NASA to make “reaching out to the Muslim world” one of the space agency’s top priorities, went to the Middle East and told Muslim leaders that America isn’t a Christian nation, but a Muslim one, told a New York magazine that the Muslim call to prayer over a loudspeaker “is one of the prettiest sounds on Earth during sunset,” was listed as a Muslim on the registration form at a Catholic school in Hawaii [according to reporter Kim Barker of the Chicago Tribune], refused to attend the Charlie Hebdo memorial because he once told the United Nations, “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam,” tried to place the radical Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt’s Presidential Palace, handed five Taliban leaders over to the Taliban, removed sanctions against Iran’s radical Muslim government as he secretly negotiated with the Ayatollahs, and told George Stephanopoulos about his “Muslim faith.” All while deporting Syrian Christian refugees, while forcing the US to accept 10,000 more Muslim Syrian refugees, and he exclusively quotes the Koran during speeches too. Again, there’s no possible way that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim.” At least the MSM is enhancing their weasel creds.

Major General Kenneth Dahl
JoshuaPundit: I found it difficult whom to nominate for this one, as it’s really shared between Terrence Russell, an official with the Pentagon’s Joint Personnel Recovery Agency, attorney Eugene Fidell, and Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl, the senior officer who carried out an investigation of Bowe Bergdahl’s desertion case. They’re all doing their best, no doubt at the Obama Administration’s orders to get Bergdahl off with a slap on the wrist. But I’m going with Dahl because even as an Obama promoted General, he ought to know better and have some sense of honor.
The new narrative? The Washington Post plays the despicable lachrimae. You see, poor Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl was fed up with the mission in Afghanistan and of course, his leaders. So he decided, just as a harmless protest to desert his post and go AWOL.
Looking to make a stand, Bergdahl hatched a plan: He would run away from his platoon’s tiny outpost in Paktika province late on June 29, 2009. He would stay away from the Army a day, maybe two, and then reappear about 19 miles away at a larger installation and demand to air his grievances with a general.
And then of course, poor Bergdahl was captured by the Taliban and ‘subjected to brutal captivity’ according to General Dahl. Of course, we don’t know that and neither does General Dahl. He only knows what Bergdahl told him, and Bowe Bergdahl has proven again and again to be a serial liar.
Not that it matters but this new story directly contradicts the note Bergdahl left for his unit saying he was deserting, leaving to start a new life. It also ignores the 2010 Pentagon report that declared unequivocally that he deserted and the Taliban’s account that he was intoxicated when they picked him up. Bergdahl’s original BS, that he was captured while lagging behind on patrol was such flagrant nonsense that he dropped it fairly quickly.
Meanwhile. Our Dear Leader released five dangerous Taliban commanders for this creep, and the word is out to get Bergdahl off, even though six far better men died trying to find him.
General Dahl knows that very well. But he has apparently decided to click his heels, salute and follow orders.
Well, there it is. What a despicable group of Weasels… ANY OF THEM COULD WIN! Check back Thursday to see which Weasel walks off with the statuette of shame!

Jorge Ramos Wannabes in the Press

Univision’s Jorge Ramos, whose daughter works for the Hillary Clinton for President campaign, doesn’t care about fair and balanced journalism. He is only concerned about representing his people. This is what journalism has become—news coverage that casts ethnic groups and special interests as victims of the white racist capitalist power structure.
Thanks to Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the socialist running for president, we are learning that one of the latest examples of victim groups is students, who freely decide to go to college and in many cases take on student debt to pay for it.
Of this victim group, black and Hispanic college students are suffering tremendously, according to a story appearing last Wednesday in The Washington Post. It claimed that blacks and Hispanics are “at a higher risk of financial instability based on their college majors…” Inside, the paper trumpeted the news in a headline, “Racial disparity in degree selection.” The news was this: “African American and Hispanic students disproportionately earn more bachelor’s degrees in low-paying majors, putting them at higher risk for financial instability after graduation, according to a new study from Young Invincibles, an advocacy group.”
This “advocacy group” has decided that representatives of certain minority groups are somehow entitled to be awarded certain jobs with certain pay grades. In the Post story touting this so-called study, blacks and Hispanics are considered victims of racism, creating wealth “inequality,” because of the college degrees and majors they have freely decided to pursue.
But wait: didn’t these blacks and Hispanics freely choose those majors and fields of study? Wasn’t freedom of choice involved?
In the eyes of the liberal media, such freedom does not exist. People are being forced into their choices in life by the forces of capitalism and white supremacy.
Here’s what the paper said: “There is no singular reason for the racial disparities within majors, but centuries of racial discrimination, uneven budgetary support for K-12 education and poor academic advising and student support contribute to the problem, said Tom Allison, deputy director of policy and research at Young Invincibles, and one of the authors of the study.”
In other words, the heavy hand of racism and the capitalist system somehow forced these students to choose these majors, in order to put them at a disadvantage.
Still, the story by Danielle Douglas-Gabriel left me in the dark about how these factors may determine the selection of majors. The explanation was offered in the next paragraph: “At the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, chemistry professor William LaCourse has seen his share of students of color with a lot of potential lose interest in science fields when they struggle in a course.”
Those science fields paid better than the majors and careers they ended up pursuing. The students gave up their “potential,” a subjective measurement, to go for the easier courses of study.
The phrase “when they struggle in a course” could mean they were goofing off, not smart enough, or just not interested. In any case, it seems hard to argue that this is because of some racist plot or budget axe. But that is indeed what the Post was implying.
The purpose is to depict minority groups as somehow victims of their own choices.
Could it be that blacks and Hispanics are giving up on the harder fields of study because they either require more work or because they have decided to pick a different major for some other reason? This fact of life has been transformed from a “study” into a Washington Post story attempting to blame everything and everyone else for this “problem” except the students themselves.
The whole point of the story is that the students can’t be blamed for their own decisions. They are victims of the system, by virtue of the fact that they are black or Hispanic. That’s why “centuries of racial discrimination, uneven budgetary support for K-12 education and poor academic advising and student support” have to be blamed.
This is socialist “journalism,” if you can call it journalism, based on the idea that people are members of groups victimized by the capitalist system, trapped into lower incomes and denied their right to make more money. This evil system forced them to “struggle” for higher grades.
It is this kind of “journalism” that also depicts students taking out college loans and going into debt as somehow being victims of capitalism. They are given an opportunity to go to college but they have to pay for it. What an injustice! The Young Invincibles says student debt has “exploded,” as if it has been inflicted on these young people through no choice of their own.
Since these students have been brainwashed into believing that taking on debt is not their fault, it is no wonder they are suckers for the Bernie Sanders brand of socialism which says that their burden must be lifted and a college education should be made available for “free.”
It is a sad commentary on what colleges are teaching that such a scheme is attracting thousands of students to the Sanders campaign.
