Liberal Media picks GOP candidate, again

By: T F Stern

Media1You’d think by now Republicans would get tired of letting the liberal media pick their presidential candidate; but they haven’t learned a thing as we go into Super Tuesday.  Old guard Republicans wanted Jeb Bush to continue their spiral towards socialism and what they perceive as a necessary means of getting along with folks on the other side of the aisle, shaking hands with the Devil might be more appropriate.  That’s not going to happen; Jeb’s campaign already tanked and he’s left the scene leaving Trump, Cruz and Rubio to duke it out.

Media2This year the leftist media apparently has gotten behind Donald Trump, at least temporarily, providing him with millions upon millions of dollars in free air time. According to some analysts, “46 percent of the media coverage over the last month about the GOP candidates was about Trump, as measured by articles that appeared in Google News.”   I say the media has temporarily gotten behind Trump because once the real race for the presidency begins that very same media will throw every thing, including the kitchen sink at Trump as they prepare the way for yet another Democrat candidate to occupy the White House.

Is Trump a Sleeper Agent for Moscow?

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

The media are having a field day over the fact that former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke supports Donald Trump for president. Trump has disavowed him. But why does Duke support Trump in the first place? It really has nothing to do with appeals to white voters. The significance of Duke’s support for Trump consists of their similar views on Russia.

Trump has spoken highly of Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing him as a strong leader who defends Russian interests and who could be an ally of the United States, especially in the Middle East. Duke believes much the same thing, and has a personal relationship with a long-time adviser to Putin who has devised an anti-American “Eurasian” alliance that includes Iran in the Middle East.

Those like Republican Senator Jeff Sessions (AL) who endorse Trump because he sounds tough on immigration have an obligation to understand how Trump’s deference to Russian aggression in the Middle East will only increase the flow of immigrants into Europe and the United States.

The Media’s Support for Hillary, and Buyer’s Remorse for Trump

By: Roger Aronoff | Accuracy in Media

The liberal media are doing their best to feed the street fight that the GOP primaries have become, pushing for greater, and fiercer, attacks on Republican front-runner Donald Trump. At the same time the media are doing their best to protect Hillary Clinton in many different ways: by minimizing her legal and ethical troubles, avoiding discussions of her foreign policy record, and deliberately ignoring the close ties between the media and the Clintons. After her resounding primary victory in South Carolina, the relief is palpable that Mrs. Clinton appears well on her way to wrapping up the nomination in the next few weeks, avoiding a protracted battle. We’ll see.

But in the meantime, the mainstream media are clearly trying to help her. For example, Maria Cardona appeared on air 50 times between August 2015 and February 2016. Yet, according to Lee Fang of the left-wing website Intercept, 40 of those appearances “presented her as a neutral Democratic strategist or CNN contributor.”

In reality, Fang writes, “…in none of her appearances was it disclosed that [Cardona’s] firm, the Dewey Square Group, has been retained for consulting work by the Clinton Super PACs or that her colleagues at the firm are working on behalf of the Clinton campaign.” Cardona has many reasons to support the Clintons, yet her loyalty to Hillary is not being regularly disclosed.

Is Twitter suppressing the hashtag #NeverTrump?

By: Renee Nal | New Zeal

Twitter via Mashable

The popular hashtag #NeverTrump was going solid for a good day, but eventually fizzled, like all hashtags do. But there seemed something suspicious – while it seemed that the hashtag was still going strong, it was no longer on the list of Twitter Trends.

So this author did a little experiment. Based on the results, #NeverTrump had more tweets in a ten minute period than the second and last trend on the United States Trends list.

What if they just stop Watching?

By: Nancy Salvato

In the beginning, what excited people most about traveling to the new world was freedom to practice their religion without persecution or being treated differently for not adhering to a state mandated religion.   As time passed, people were compelled by the idea that they could grab a piece of land and create their own wealth.   These two ideas best characterize the American dream, the freedom to have a set of beliefs and not be compelled to follow the group and the freedom to build wealth from a wing and a prayer.   Our governing system evolved from these two important rights.

Our country suffered 25,000 casualties, not to mention as many wounded in the revolution to gain our freedom from England.   Once we had tasted freedom, it was hard to imagine allowing ourselves to be ruled by a king and a parliament determined to wield their authority over colonies that had been essentially governing themselves independently for years.   To be told where goods could be sold and where they could trade, to be taxed indiscriminately, to be tried in courts without a jury of peers…these ideas were recognized as unjust and intolerable.

With freedom came wealth and power.   This is because in our country there was no built in ruling class or proletariat class.   In America, people were not seen as belonging to any particular class and it was a given that anyone could make it.   Andrew Jackson was the first president who exemplified that idea, having beat enormous odds.   He was not born of wealth and despite having lost both parents before he was fifteen, survived fighting (under age) in the American Revolution, being imprisoned, and smallpox.   Yet he managed to become a school teacher, and later a lawyer, before running for and being elected to the highest office in the land.

Dear Evangelical Trumpsters

By: Lloyd Marcus

Trumpsters

My 87 year old black dad has been a Christian pastor for over 50 years. I phoned, “Dad, what do I say to Christians who support Trump rather than Ted Cruz?” Dad replied, “Trump says he is a Christian.”

Matthews 7:16 – “Ye shall know them by their fruits.”

Ted Cruz is the only candidate who grasps the intensity of the Democrats’, mainstream media’s and homosexual activists’ assault on religious liberty. Cruz has a peerless record of furiously fighting against it. When the Supreme Court, in essence, made it against the law to follow God’s Word which disapproves of homosexuals changing God’s definition of marriage, gay activist George Takei, said this is only the beginning. Because black Justice, Clarence Thomas ruled against twisting the Constitution to please homosexuals, Takei called Thomas “a clown in blackface who should not be on the Supreme Court.”

Folks, imagine the mainstream media firestorm had a Republican called a black Supreme Court Justice a clown in blackface. Takei is allowed to make such a racist comment because his anti-Christian agenda is the same as today’s Democratic party and mainstream media.

Stand for Liberty! #NeverTrump…#NeverTrump…#NeverTrump…

By: Trevor Loudon | New Zeal

Donnybonny

I have dear friends who support Donald Trump. I have long time loyal readers who support Donald Trump. I have many potential customers who support Donald Trump.

But I also have children who deserve to live in a free world. And that means I must vocally support this movement. ..#NeverTrump….never, ever, ever.

Erick Erickson of Red State puts it well;

I will not vote for Donald Trump for President of the United States even if he is the Republican nominee…

He will not win in November. ..

Trump is a liberal who has supported big government, interventionist policies. He defends Planned Parenthood, says he can cut deals in Washington, and believes in a socialist government run healthcare scheme…

Trump is also a con-artist and the media, which has built his campaign is going to destroy his campaign. After he secures the Republican nomination, the media will trot out every victim and perceived victim of Trump’s actions. All the people hurt by repeated strategic bankruptcies, all the people swindled by Trump University, and anyone who got food poisoning from Trump steaks will be in a 24/7 cavalcade on national television.

By the time the media and Democrats, but I repeat myself, are done with Trump, he will be radioactive.

Donald Trump will not win in November. Period. End of story.
