“Diversity and Inclusion” Claim Another Victim

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

As noted by Peter LaBarbera of Lifesitenews.com, LGBT activists were bitter and outraged that a conservative Christian with a public policy record of opposing the LGBTQ agenda was chosen to succeed a homosexual for the job of secretary of the Army. That is why a dishonest attack on Dr. Mark Green, a West Point grad and decorated U.S. Army flight surgeon, was launched by the Huffington Post, as well as other media and gay rights organizations.

“Green engendered significant opposition to his nomination after HuffPost first reported on comments he had made about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community,” said the far-left, openly anti-Trump publication.

One of Dr. Mark Green’s so-called objectionable comments was the science-based and common-sense belief, made in his capacity as a Tennessee state senator, that most psychiatrists believe transgenderism is “a disease.” He referred to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders as having listed transgenderism as a disorder to be treated.

The George Soros-funded National Center for Transgender Equality immediately denounced Green as “hateful.”

Retired colonel and columnist Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D., noted that opposition to Green was “joined by pro-Sharia groups such as Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a spinoff of the Muslim Brotherhood and an unindicted co-conspirator in the prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation for providing support to the terrorist group Hamas.”

Other “controversial” comments made by Green, as explained by Peter LaBarbera in another Lifesitenews.com article, were completely twisted by the far-left. His attackers claimed, for example, that he had referred to homosexuals and transgendered people as “evil,” when in fact he had used that term to refer to the Islamic terrorist threat.

In response, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) said he found Green’s distorted comments “very concerning.” Senate Democrats attacked Green.

Incredibly, the attacks forced Green to withdraw his name from consideration for the post. “Tragically, my life of public service and my Christian beliefs have been mischaracterized and attacked by a few on the other side of the aisle for political gain,” Green said in a Facebook post announcing his withdrawal.

A new book, Diversity and Inclusion: What You Don’t Know and Why You Don’t Know It, explains how the forces of “diversity and inclusion” are used to marginalize and destroy the influence of conservative Christians in U.S. society, along with the traditional values they uphold.

What’s more, author George W. Draper told Accuracy in Media in an interview, “The harsh reality is that literally none of President Trump’s objectives can be accomplished on an enduring basis until the policy of diversity and inclusion (DI) is rescinded as an unlawful attempt to usurp the ‘rule of law’ and the Constitution.”

As an example, he said, “To stop terrorist immigration is certainly a necessary goal.  However, this and all other threats pale in comparison to the lethality of diversity and inclusion.” It is this policy that is truly “the enemy from within,” and which threatens not only unlimited immigration but “Third-World style” bondage for the United States, he says.

Furthermore, he argues, “Diversity and Inclusion serve as the basis and platform from which all other vicious political agendas and anti-American actions are expertly and expeditiously carried out against this nation.”

One of those political agendas is the popular (in the media) mental disorder known as transgenderism, in which biological men and boys with male DNA try to pass themselves off as women, and vice versa. Liberals believe in this alien ideology to such an extent that their hero, former President Obama, tried to force it on elementary school children.

In the media, the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association now includes “transgendered” in its name, calling itself the Association of LGBTQ Journalists. It is funded by all of the big media organizations and instructs reporters on how to portray conservatives and Republicans as obstructing necessary social change.

Green was a victim of this biased reporting that continues on an ongoing basis.

When Obama Defense Secretary Ash Carter opened up the military to transgendered, or sexually confused, people, he did so without congressional approval, in violation of the Constitution. Obama’s Army Secretary, Eric Fanning, was the first open homosexual to lead the Army, and he helped implement this new policy.

Even more shocking, former U.S. Army analyst and convicted traitor Bradley/Chelsea Manning is now undergoing various treatments at taxpayer expense in order to become a woman. His 35-year espionage sentence was commuted by President Obama before leaving office. Manning’s sentence will end on May 17 of this year and he/she will then walk free from prison.

The Draper book demonstrates how the forces of “diversity and inclusion” have literally infected the nation’s religious, corporate, government, academic, news media, advertising, and entertainment bodies.

Draper knows a lot about the subject, as the manager of a major defense contractor who lost his job when he protested the politically correct policies in the work force.

Most people don’t recognize the insidious nature of these forces because they are “cleverly depicted as a benevolent community movement focused upon social justice, corporate harmony, and civil unity.” In reality, this constitutes a program of “preferential treatment” for members of certain groups, now including the transgendered.

“It’s a case of quotas over qualifications,” Draper said. LGBT employees in particular “are a security risk, not only due to possible mental confusion and instability and incompatible allegiance, but also as a result of these employees being targets for blackmail,” he maintains.

In looking at the damage being done in the government sector, he notes that President Obama’s Executive Order 13583, “Establishing a Coordinated Government-wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce,” has made the problem worse, especially in the national security field.

On October 5, 2016, Obama issued a follow-up presidential memorandum “Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in the National Security Workforce,” specifically targeting the Intelligence Community; the Department of the Treasury: Office of International Affairs and Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection; the Department of Justice: National Security Division and Federal Bureau of Investigation; and the Department of Homeland Security.

These policies, Draper argues, have “sanctioned and legitimized the hiring of thousands of employees, both in the federal as well as government contractor areas, who have questionable loyalties to the United States.” He says these “holdover” employees represent a significant internal national security threat and will take every opportunity to thwart the actions of President Trump and all allied organizations.

However, he notes that Trump has the power to rescind these controversial executive actions by Obama and restore equal opportunity, the rule of law and common sense to federal workforce practices.

LaBarbera commented that Green’s withdrawal came a day after President Trump signed an executive order to defend religious freedom, and that “some are wondering why more wasn’t done to support the Tennessee doctor’s nomination.”

“It was Washington D.C. and the media that rejected Mark Green, not the American people,” commented columnist Lawrence Sellin.

In addition to his decorated military service, Green’s biography includes the following highlights:

  • President/CEO of Align MD, an emergency department staffing company, which provides leadership and staffing to emergency departments and hospitalist services in fifty hospitals throughout ten states.
  • Founded Two Rivers Medical Foundation, which provides healthcare to underserved populations throughout the world.
  • Operates a free medical clinic in his hometown, and in Memphis, Tennessee.

Are There Some Questionable Valuations?

By: Kent Engelke | Capitol Securities

According to Barons, Amazon has made about $5 billion since going public in 1997. According to Bloomberg, its capitalization is about $480 billion. Last year, Exxon made about $7.8 billion or about 56% more than Amazon has made in 20 years. Exxon is worth about $348 billion. According to Bloomberg, Exxon is up about 168% since 1997, while Amazon has increased an incredible 57,405% since that period.

If companies are valued by earnings less some interest rate, the obvious conclusion is that Amazon is vastly overvalued as compared to Exxon.

The point that I am trying to make is that markets are not always rational. At some juncture, companies will be priced according to the value of its cash flow. The question is when.

Several times I have quoted the WSJ stating that about 41% of 2017’s NASDAQ gains were focused in five stocks. In 2000, 60% of the gain was in about 50 stocks. I have further commented about the vast concentration of wealth in one sector, a concentration of historic proportions. The reason for this massive concentration is the proliferation of ETFs and technology based trading.

Many high profile luminaries have voiced concerns about this concentration, further stating that ETFs could potentially be a nuclear weapon given their apparent opaqueness and proliferation. In their eyes, it is not a question as to if there will be considerable issues, but rather when.

While I do not necessarily share the above view, I do think the averages can decline 7% to 10% in relative quick order, the result of ETFs and electronic based trading. I do believe however, if Trump’s legislative agenda is passed, Main Street will greatly outperform Wall Street.

There is little I can write about yesterday’s market action. Treasury yields crept quietly higher. Crude fell while technology shares rose nominally.

Last night the foreign markets were mixed. London was up 0.34%, Paris was down 0.06% and Frankfurt was down 0.03%. China was down 0.90%, Japan was up 0.29% and Hang Sang was up 0.51%.

The Dow should open nominally lower as the firing of FBI Director Comey night be viewed as a possible impediment or distraction in accomplishing the administration’s regulatory and tax reforms. The 10-year is up 6/32 to yield 2.38%.

Into The Heartland

By: Lloyd Marcus

Rumors of my death are exaggerated. The reason my wife Mary and I dropped off the face of the earth is because we have not had Internet for almost a week, which as y’all know feels like an eternity. We drove up from Florida to close on our new home in a tiny West Virginia town, population 500. Why?

To move close to our parents and family.

The drive up from Florida was quite interesting. The number of Trump signs on display in yards, rooftops and billboards tells me Trump has connected with everyday Americans like no other president before him.

It seemed like every time we pushed the search button on our radio, another faith-based station came up. While fake news media would like us to believe they have successfully killed traditional American values, wholesome values are alive and well in the heartland.

My wife’s brother-in-law said when it snows, his neighbor plows out the road for everyone with his tracker. Mail is delivered at a central location for his group of neighbors. The mailboxes and polls were in need of repair. A neighbor took it upon himself to repair and refresh the mailboxes. Another neighbor fills pot holes in their road. All of these things were done without ridiculous paperwork, meetings or government.

How small is this town you ask? The Internet company cannot hook us up until May 23rd. We can make calls on our phones, but they do not work as a hot-spot. I’m on-line at the library which is open limited hours on different days; closed from noon to 1 pm for lunch with parking for 7 cars. I keep telling myself, take a deep breath and embrace the solitude.

There is no home mail delivery. When we went to the post office to sign up for a P O box, the cheerful clerk said, “Are you the Marcuses? Y’all bought the white house.”

We had to pay a $200 cash deposit at the Town Hall to get our water turned on. The clerk said, “Are y’all the people who called the other day? Y’all bought the white house.” The pleasant clerk said she would call “the” maintenance man to turn us on. One hour later, he showed up and turned on our water.

Most expressive were seniors Virginia and her husband Daniel who greeted me with big smiles when I walked into the library. “Welcome!” Virginia gave me the scoop. “Lunch at the Senior Center is $2. Today is hot dog day.” Virginia filled me in on all the churches, concluding that anyone we choose will be fine. Virginia said they are all good friendly people.

As a black guy, not once have I felt a twinge of the stereotypical racism attributed to the south, quite the opposite. Everyone has been warm and friendly.

The only store in town is Dollar General. Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes are over 20 miles away.

Mary and I stopped into “the” bank. “Y’all bought the white house.”

Yes, I am experiencing culture shock, but the people are nice and I think it is going to be fun.

Dr. Peter Pry Warns About EMP Threats to American Electrical Grid

By: Alex Nitzberg | Accuracy in Media

The electromagnetic pulse (EMP) created by a nuclear weapon exploding high over the United States would destroy the nation’s electrical grid and electrical systems across the country, according to Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, Executive Director of the EMP Task Force on National and Homeland Security.

Dr. Pry explained this nightmare scenario during an interview on “The Alex Nitzberg Show:”

“The higher up you go, the bigger the field gets, and at an altitude of 300 kilometers with a single nuclear weapon you can cover the entire continental United States…most of Canada and a good chunk of Mexico with an EMP field. And this field is so powerful, in effect what it is, it’s a super energetic radio wave. It’s a radio wave that’s got so much energy in it that it will damage and destroy electronic systems—all electronic systems, including the electric grid, the personal computer on your desk, SCADA systems—that is Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems which are little computers that run everything: The water supply, gas pipelines, gas coming out of electric engines, industrial processes and all kinds of things…”

If the EMP is sufficiently powerful, Dr. Pry noted that airplanes would crash because their electrical systems would be affected.

Because the weapon would be detonated high above the earth, people would not hear the blast and they may not even see anything if the sky is cloudy. As Dr. Pry explained, “The only thing that would result would be this EMP, but it is enough to basically destroy our electronic civilization…”

Naturally occurring geomagnetic storms ejected from the sun could also wreak havoc on electrical systems worldwide. While the EMP produced by these storms would not impact smaller systems (like vehicles and planes) a sufficiently powerful geomagnetic superstorm would harm electrical grids globally.

“Electric grids everywhere on earth would collapse and put billions of lives at risk,” according to Dr. Pry.

He explained that a solar storm in 1859 known as the “Carrington Event” destroyed the transatlantic cable. “Telegraph cables burst into flame all over the world and there were forest fires in various places…” He also said that “Fires broke out in telegraph stations.”

NASA predicts that over 10 years there is a 12% chance of a geomagnetic super-storm. According to Dr. Pry, this “…virtually guarantees that within our lifetimes, or that of our children or grandchildren, we will experience a natural EMP that will put electronic civilizations everywhere on the planet at risk.”

He says the ramifications of an EMP event would be “…the greatest environmental catastrophe ever experienced by man.”

Nuclear reactors are “…likely to go Fukushima,” according to Dr. Pry, “not just from the power grid going down, but from the regulatory control systems being damaged and causing accidents in the nuclear reactors.”

He explained that even if the systems regulating nuclear reactors remained operational, the lack of electricity would eventually cause problems when reserve power sources deplete:

“And the steam explosions will carry dangerous levels of radioactivity thousands of kilometers downwind from the nuclear reactors,” Dr. Pry said, noting that “it’s like having 100 dirty bombs going off and spreading radioactivity all over the country.”

Dr. Pry also stated that without electricity, “…the water purification plants will back up and overflow. We know this happens, even during normal blackouts. And so you have in lakes and rivers hospital wastes and industrial wastes and human wastes back-flowing into already polluted lakes and rivers.”

In addition to the dangers of a nuclear EMP and a naturally occurring EMP from a geomagnetic storm, Dr. Pry also explained that radio frequency weapons (RFWs) pose another threat.

RFWs are “non-nuclear EMP weapons.” He stated that “They don’t have the same radius of effect as a nuclear EMP weapon, only a few hundred yards in most cases. But our electric grid is so fragile that it wouldn’t take much damage to bring the whole thing down for a protracted period of time.”

He explained that while America contains 2,000 EHV transformer substations, “If you knew which ones to attack you could attack as few as nine of them according to a study by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. If you took them out…that would put the country into a protracted blackout…”

Asked why he thinks the media are not more interested in alerting the public about the threat of nuclear EMP weapons, Dr. Pry said that the conservative media generally do show interest. “But the mainstream liberal media doesn’t talk about the nuclear EMP threat very much,” Dr. Pry explained, “or when they do they try to belittle it.”

He opined that “any rational person” who lived in America during the period of Obama’s tenure, “knows that the mainstream media are basically an echo chamber for the Obama administration and for the Democratic Party.”

He argued that if the mainstream media had drawn more attention to the dangers of a nuclear EMP blast, the information would have undermined President Obama’s promotion of the Iran deal and his desire for a “world without nuclear weapons.”

Dr. Pry noted that some academics who “belittle the EMP threat” and “say it isn’t real” support action to mitigate the impact of “the natural EMP threat.” President Obama actually issued “an executive order on a national space weather action plan so-called, to protect against EMP, although as a practical matter the plan is a bad plan…” according to Dr. Pry.

Solutions to protect the electrical grid against these ominous threats already exist, but they have not been widely implemented. Dr. Pry believes that the grid should be hardened against these threats, adding that people should take action to prepare themselves for the possibility of a catastrophic, EMP-related blackout.

Muslim Brotherhood Supporters

“America faces in addition to the threat of violent jihad another, even more toxic danger – a stealthy and pre-violent form of warfare aimed at destroying our constitutional form of democratic government and free society. The Muslim Brotherhood is the prime-mover behind this seditious campaign, which it calls ‘civilization jihad.'” – The Center for Security Policy

A brand new petition calling on Speaker Paul Ryan to bring  H.R. 377  Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act has just been added to the White House website. The legislation is sponsored by Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, and has 46 co-sponsors.
