KeyWiki passes milestone, upsets communists: assistance requested

By: Trevor Loudon | New Zeal

Our sister site KeyWiki just passed the 80,000 file mark.

KeyWiki’s database of leftists, Antifa, communists, security risk congressmen, Muslim Brotherhood fronters and other covert activists, has grown in leaps and bounds in the past eight years.

Since the communist-led Bernie Sanders movement hit the national stage and with the election of President Trump, the far left has expanded dramatically. For example, crypto-communist Democratic Socialists of America has grown from 6,000 to 21, 000 members in a year – and we’re trying to identify every single one we can.

Yes, DSA is a Marxist organization.

These people are infiltrating the Democratic Party all over the country and electing Marxists to office like Dylan Parker, Alderman Rock Island Illinois, Carlos Rosa, Chicago’s 35th Ward Alderman, Mike Sylvester, of the Maine House of Representatives, Julie Ann Nitsch, Austin Community College Board of Trustee in Texas and Massachusetts State Representative Mike Connolly.

The Marxists at DSA are not happy that we are identifying their members and have recently been holding webinars to try and reduce our documentation and publication of their activities.

DSA mentions Keywiki

Communist Party USA has also enjoyed substantial growth. Together with allies Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism and Freedom Road Socialist Organization, they are set to complete their long term project of taking over the Democratic Party.

With growth comes new challenges.

RATIONING: The key component missing in the current healthcare debate

By: Renee Nal | New Zeal

Why isn’t anyone talking about the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), or Obamacare’s inevitable rationing? (Photo Washington Times)

While it has been proven that the Affordable Care Act was designed specifically to fail in order to pave the way for Single Payer, one major piece of the Obamacare puzzle has been inexplicably left out of the existing debate, and that is the inevitable rationing that the legislation brings.

This is a reprint from an article I wrote (from a now-defunct website) warning people about how rationing is a key element of Obamacare. It is one of the most important articles I have ever written and proves that the academics promoting Obamacare at the time were also staunch advocates of rationing, which is a necessary part of any government health program.

****

I am writing this because I think that this topic is urgently important and nobody truly understands what is happening behind closed doors (and open doors) in academia, in conferences, seminars, etc., all to ensure that rationing is “accepted” in the public square. The word “Rationing” has been somewhat marginalized, but one can very easily do a Google Scholar search for rationing and find it all over various academic publications.  The idea is to find “code words” in order to make the idea of rationing, i.e., death panels more palatable for Americans.

Make no mistake, it IS going to happen under ObamaCare and is already happening now, in some instances, but will get worse: much, much worse.  How do I know?  I read their words and I take them at their word.

The way this will be justified will be by using “experts” in the field of bioethics, just like it was to justify abortion – I know this because I have been familiarizing myself with academic journals.  Therefore, people must know some basic principlesin bioethics in order to understand the positions and know how to respond.

Justifying Death Panels: (Code Words / Phrases)

Rationing Patient’s rights
End of Life Care Fairness
Resource Allocation Care Effectiveness
Sustainability Unnecessary Tests
Unsustainable Increases in health care costs Healthcare is a ‘right’
Priority Setting Tough choices
Psychosocial influences QARYs “quality adjusted remaining years”
Setting Limits Resource Allocation

Some common arguments for rationing (most deal with cost):

  • “Healthcare is already being rationed” referring to people willing to wait for an organ transplants, being turned down for insurance, etc.
  • “People do not need all of these tests.” (See the Choosing Wisely Campaign below)
  • The last year of life is a costly burden that negatively impacts future generations.
  • Many people would rather die at home.1
  • It is not fair to use expensive interventions when people will die soon anyway.

The idea of rationing health care became a very popular topic within Bioethics circles after the passage of the Affordable Care Act, aka, “ObamaCare.” Many conferences and journal articles dealt with the issue, particularly surrounding the issues of “fairness” and “end of life care.”

As this report shows, not only do bioethicists advocate rationing, but some have learned to not use the word, and they freely admit that they believe rationing to be inevitable.

Shocking Media Lies

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

In a story about the Women’s March on Washington, Time magazine published various “Portraits of Dissent” that included the views of a 17-year-old Calvert County, Maryland, high school senior with the words “Nasty, Queer, Bitch,” marked on her cheeks and forehead. She was quoted as saying rights were in danger because of the Trump presidency and that Vice President Mike Pence “is someone that supports electroshocking people like me to turn us into people we aren’t.”

Pence never said any such thing. But where did this fictional and irrational claim come from? And why did Time publish this lie?

A new report from the National Task Force for Therapy Equality to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) identifies precisely where many of the false claims are originating. The report, entitled, “Lies, Deception, and Fraud,” accuses the Southern Poverty Law Center, Human Rights Campaign, and the National Center for Lesbian Rights of a hate campaign designed to ban psychotherapy for individuals with sexual and gender identity conflicts.

You may recognize the Human Rights Campaign as the pro-Obama group that furnished a speaker for the FBI’s recent gay “pride” summit.

In one case documented in the report, a transgendered woman associated with a New Jersey homosexual-rights organization claimed she had been tortured at a “conversion therapy camp” and that it constituted “child abuse.” But no such camp ever existed. It did exist in a 1999 movie, “But I’m a Cheerleader,” starring drag queen RuPaul. In Washington State, gay rights advocates claimed that children were subjected to shock therapy and ice baths to get them out of the lifestyle. No evidence of such practices was ever presented.

Evidence shows that same-sex attractions can be changed through counseling and can result from bad relations with a parent or sexual abuse. Indeed, the Restored Hope Network (RHN), representing the largest coalition of ex-homosexual ministries in the world, just held a national conference.

The National Task Force for Therapy Equality is part of the Equality And Justice For All, a coalition of psychotherapists, psychiatrists, physicians, public policy organizations and clients. The co-coordinator, Christopher Doyle, is a former homosexual who says that therapy changed his life. He is now married to his wife and they have five children.

Despite claims in the media that people are born gay, this is a myth perpetuated by left-wing homosexual organizations. There is no scientific evidence for the claim. Another myth is that counseling away from same-sex attraction involves shock therapy. There is no evidence whatsoever that the technique has been used or coerced on children or adolescents to modify sexuality.

Perhaps the best known of the three organizations cited above, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), calls the idea of counseling homosexuals to leave the lifestyle “quackery.”

The SPLC has a notorious reputation, even on the left. It raises money by using terms like “homophobia” and “Islamophobia” to demonize people supporting traditional Christian values. The group’s “Hate Map” of conservative organizations inspired a homosexual militant to launch a terrorist attack on the Washington, D.C. headquarters of the Family Research Council in 2013. It was “liked” on Facebook by the left-wing Bernie Sanders supporter who tried to massacre a group of Republicans at a baseball game outside of Washington, D.C.

Its fundraising practices, which have generated a reserve fund of about $300 million, are at the heart of the complaint by the National Task Force for Therapy Equality to the FTC. The FTC complaint asks for action to be taken against the three organizations because they use “deceptive and fraudulent” claims. Such claims, of course, are prominently featured in the liberal media, which regularly refer to the SPLC as a “civil rights” organization.

On a national basis, six liberal states and several cities and jurisdictions have passed legislation banning licensed psychotherapy for minors with unwanted same-sex attractions and general identity conflicts. The legislation has been driven mostly by the three organizations mentioned above and local homosexual groups working with them.

Still, most states have refused to follow. And the 2016 Republican Party platform declared, “We support the right of parents to determine the proper medical treatment and therapy for their minor children.”

Bans on therapy also harm people who have been victims of sexual abuse and developed a same-sex attraction as a result of the abuse. The Equality and Justice for All website notes, “Children who have been molested by a same-sex adult and are confused about their sexual orientation as a result of the sexual abuse will be denied access to therapy simply because it is not gay-affirming. In effect, a child will be molested twice—first by the perpetrator and then again by the political environment, which refuses to treat the child unless he sees a gay-affirming therapist.”

Needless to say, as demonstrated by the Time magazine “Portrait of Dissent” cited earlier, some people seem to think that methods of brutal force are used to turn people away from the gay lifestyle. In fact, psychotherapy involves talking to people who want to leave their state of sexual confusion or unwanted sexual attraction through what are called “sexual orientation change efforts.”

While the FTC complaint has received some coverage from conservative and Christian news organizations, the major media have remained mostly silent. This is undoubtedly due to the fact that all of the major news organizations, including Fox News, financially underwrite the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association and follow its dictates. This group, which now accepts transgendered and “queer” people, asserts in the face of the scientific evidence that gays are born that way and that choice has nothing to do with it. Yet, the wife of New York City Mayor Bill “Red Bill” de Blasio is an ex-lesbian.

The claim by the young lesbian in Time magazine that Vice President Pence “supports electroshocking people like me” is an example of the falsehoods that continue to be peddled by the media. What Pence did say, in a 2000 campaign statement, was that he supported providing assistance to “those seeking to change their sexual behavior.”

Only in a culture dominated by a pro-homosexual media would such a statement be considered offensive and transformed into a demand for shocking homosexuals out of their lifestyle.

The only shock therapy practiced today is a form of media bias that makes sexual perversion acceptable and eliminates any mention of the ability to change or even cure a lifestyle that carries major health risks.

The “Crime of the Century” is Bad Journalism

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

The latest propaganda piece from The Washington Post, “Obama’s secret struggle to punish Russia for Putin’s election assault,” is based, as usual, mostly on anonymous sources determined to make former President Barack Obama look good. The gist is that Obama tried his best to punish Russia for alleged interference in the 2016 election, but he fell short and left the matter in the hands of President Donald Trump, who has done nothing.

So Trump is blamed for Obama’s failure. How convenient.

The essence of the piece is that “intelligence” was “captured” that somehow proved that Russian President Vladimir Putin gave “specific instructions” that he wanted  to “defeat or at least damage the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, and help elect her opponent, Donald Trump.”

Pardon me, but I don’t believe this for a moment. This “intelligence” may be what the Post seeks to expose—Russian “active measures” or disinformation.

As we reported back in January, “Looking at the election objectively, it is possible to say that Russian leader Vladimir Putin may have had a personal vendetta against the former U.S. secretary of state for some reason, stemming from allegations of U.S. meddling in Russian internal affairs. On the other hand, Putin may have preferred that Clinton become the U.S. president because her failed Russian ‘reset’ had facilitated Russian military intervention in Ukraine and Syria, and he believed he could continue to take advantage of her.”

This makes far more sense than the Post story.

Remember that Obama won the 2012 election after dismissing his Republican opponent Mitt Romney’s claim that Russia was a geopolitical threat to the United States. Obama had also been caught on an open mic before the election promising to be “flexible” in changing his positions to benefit Russia.

“These comments provide more evidence that Obama was never the anti-Russian figure he postured as in the final days of his second term,” we noted.

The Post story by Greg Miller and others is an obvious response to the observation that, if Obama thought the Russian interference was such a big deal, what did Obama try to do about it?

One can read the entire article if you are interested in how pro-Obama propaganda is manufactured by the Post. Some parts of the article are more ludicrous than others, such as this paragraph:

“Throughout his presidency, Obama’s approach to national security challenges was deliberate and cautious. He came into office seeking to end wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was loath to act without support from allies overseas and firm political footing at home. He was drawn only reluctantly into foreign crises, such as the civil war in Syria, that presented no clear exit for the United States.”

The paragraph is designed to mask Obama’s indifference to Russian aggression in places like Crimea, Ukraine and Syria. In regard to the latter, Obama failed to save Syria from Russian aggression and facilitated a conflict—through secret arms shipments to the region—that now stands at 500,000 dead.

Obama’s alleged “cautious” approach in the Middle East was to support jihadist groups in Syria and Libya, and back regimes such as the Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt, which was overthrown by the military backed by the people.

The hero in the Post account is Obama’s CIA director John Brennan, who joined the agency after admitting to voting for Moscow’s man in the 1976 presidential election, Gus Hall of the Communist Party USA. Suddenly, we are led to believe, as CIA director, he became anti-Russian after discovering a Moscow plot in 2016 to disrupt the presidential election.

“In political terms,” the paper said, “Russia’s interference was the crime of the century, an unprecedented and largely successful destabilizing attack on American democracy.”

This is complete nonsense. There is no evidence any votes were changed as a result of this so-called “interference.”

The crime of the century is bad journalism based on anonymous sources who hide behind papers like the Post to spread their self-serving and partisan propaganda.

“This account of the Obama administration’s response to Russia’s interference is based on interviews with more than three dozen current and former U.S. officials in senior positions in government, including at the White House, the State, Defense and Homeland Security departments, and U.S. intelligence services,” the Post said. “Most agreed to speak only on the condition of anonymity, citing the sensitivity of the issue.”

One paragraph in particular tells you everything you know about the anonymous sources behind this story. “Those closest to Obama defend the administration’s response to Russia’s meddling,” the Post said. Yes, indeed, those “closest to Obama” would certainly do so.

Then we’re told that that “They believe that a series of warnings—including one that Obama delivered to Putin in September—prompted Moscow to abandon any plans of further aggression, such as sabotage of U.S. voting systems.”

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever for this dramatic statement. It’s completely made up.

Remember, this is the same Obama who once assured Putin that after he won his re-election campaign in 2012, he would have “more flexibility” with the Russian leader and be able to offer more concessions.

Now, all of a sudden, Obama is rough and tough and gets things done with the Russian leader. What a joke.

The paper reported that “Obama confronted Putin directly during a meeting of world leaders in Hangzhou, China. Accompanied only by interpreters, Obama told Putin that ‘we knew what he was doing and [he] better stop or else,’ according to a senior aide who subsequently spoke with Obama. Putin responded by demanding proof and accusing the United States of interfering in Russia’s internal affairs.”

Or else?

It sounds like the red line in Syria that Obama had warned the Syrian regime not to cross. But they crossed it anyway.

Obama’s so-called “secret struggle to punish Russia for Putin’s election assault” exists in the minds of Post reporters who are waging a not-so-secret struggle to rehabilitate the former president’s disastrous foreign policy toward Russia and most of the rest of the world.

Let’s not forget one more debacle—Obama’s deal with Russian client state Iran to facilitate the regime’s nuclear weapons program and world-wide terrorism.

That may end up being another crime of the century, on par with President Bill Clinton’s deal with North Korea that was supposed to prevent the communist regime from getting its hands on nuclear weapons.

Speaking of North Korea, whose nuclear weapons program accelerated under Obama, hear the words of Otto Warmbier’s father about his son being released after Trump took office: “I think the results speak for themselves.”

Obama’s “cautious and deliberate” approach was to let the young man languish in a North Korean prison while being tortured to near death.

Egyptian police become terrorists: Attack Christianity

By: Ashraf Ramelah | Voice of the Copts

Sacred Utensils

Slogan found on the entrance to the building of the Egyptian police: “Police are at the service of the people”

Local police serving the Islamic deep state

At 2 am on Friday, June 16 — just 20 days after the Al Minya Coptic bus attack by terrorists from Libya – Christians of Bani Sweef province (Al Minya governorate) faced flagrant degradation of law and order when local police in the small town of Saft Al Kharsa broke into the Coptic Orthodox social services center and desecrated the building. The non-operational three-story center was already shut down by the government for no reason.

Sometime before the police struck, 50 Christian families still in mourning from the Libyan terror attack were granted by the state a special security clearance for bus “victims” to temporarily reopen the building and celebrate a mass there in memory of one child and six adults lost in the gun battle. Soon after, the building reverted to its forced obsolescence.

In the early morning hours of June 16, the Egyptian police forced down the door of the vacated Coptic Orthodox

Furnishings tossed in the middle of the road.

social services building and ransacked the interior. Grabbing up sacred utensils, pictures, holy books, and furnishings to toss in the middle of the road, police then re-padlocked the door and placed guards before the emptied building.

Police destroy church property — brazen departure from usual cover story

That police officers initiated the crime and worked alone makes this crime a worse-than-usual one in the annals of Egypt’s church desecrations. Usually the police answer a call for “safety and security” made by Muslim vigilantes and use it as a pretense to lock the doors and shut down the church building.

Severe discriminatory restrictions created by the state make this a simple process. Laws governing church-owned buildings serve to micro-manage minutia and are meant to entrap Christians. These laws are made because a paranoia state regards church structures in general as a threat to national security. Their mere existence incites Islamic terror.

“…The principles of Sharia are the primary sources of legislation” (Egyptian Constitution)

Meanwhile, office mosques and home mosques are legally built and occupied entirely without permits and opened without permits. Mosques built on purchased land require permits that are automatically issued upon request. Mosques formed in the middle of streets that block public usage for Friday noon prayers never require a permit.

According to Egypt’s constitution (Article 64, Freedom of Belief), “freedom of practicing religious ritual and establishing places of worship for the followers of revealed religions is a right organized by law.” Inequality under the law is guaranteed by Sharia.

Story of delays, denials, obstacles and closing of the Saft Al Kharsa Coptic center

The Saft Al Kharsa Coptic Orthodox social services center was constructed because a permit was granted. Church authorities first sought a permit to build a place of worship, but the permit request was subjected to prolonged delays – a good likelihood the permit would be denied as in so many other cases.

Brainwashed bureaucrats who execute permits shoved the Saft Al Kharsa church permit in a desk drawer. Promises from the town’s mayor and security director verbally granting immediate issuance of a church construction permit to church authorities became worthless. Fearing their land would remain idle and given their closest church ten miles away, church authorities decided to go ahead with constructing the social services facility.

Even so, in July of last year Muslims protested the completed construction and occupation of the Coptic Orthodox social services building once the cross was visible. As a result, it was officially closed by the state in the same month on July 22. Last week the local police favored their Muslim constituents by obstructing allowable Christian religious practice.

A new law based on an old decree

Under Kirby Terms of 1934 that still unofficially in use, hundreds of obstacles for Christian worship exist. As mosques sprout up like wild mushrooms in a dank forest, church construction is practically non-existent, and many in use are bolted shut by the state. About 20 percent remain in ruins.

The nearly one-year old parliamentary law, Regulation of Church Construction (80-2016), was intended to regulate religious worship of all faiths. For some time before its passage, news headlines broadcasted this intention. Then silence fell, and a new debate hit the newspapers – what about only regulating the Christians! The petty rulings guaranteed to issue from the new law regarding church permits and practices are a modern-day Omyani Decree.

Police violence is green light for more offences

The June 16 aggression by officers of the law models violence against Copts to be duplicated by other police and civilians. The police are excused and civilians are rarely arrested and tried for such crimes while the state substitutes Christian victims to pay the penalty.

Ripping off taxpayers to finance America’s destruction

By: James Simpson | BombThrowers

Trump ends payouts to radical leftist groups from Obama’s big bucks shakedown-supported DoJ slush fund

While being investigated for things that never happened and facing Antifa thugs and other lunatic leftists crawling out from under rocks nationwide while the true criminals in the Democratic Party get a free pass, the Trump administration has managed to accomplish, in these few short months, more than George W. Bush accomplished (i.e. things that actually helped America out) in his first term.

Trump is already rolling back big parts of Obama’s train wreck of an agenda and pulling our nation back from the brink and toward some semblance of sanity and the rule of law. One of the latest major changes, and one with significant potential impact on the Left’s ability to wage war against America, is Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s recent announcement that the Department of Justice is ending payments to radical leftist organizations from the multi-billion dollar slush fund amassed by the Obama DoJ’s various industry shakedowns.

Peter Schweizer‘s Government Accountability Institute issued a report in October 2016, “Follow the Money: How the Department of Justice Funds Progressive Activists,” that detailed the stunning amount of money the DoJ has been awarding to left-wing groups. Under Eric Holder’s DoJ, financial institutions paid an unprecedented $110 billion in fines, much of which came in through out-of-court settlements.

Many of the cases were based on tenuous grounds, such as “disparate impact” which assumes racism based solely on the proportion of loans awarded to minorities. According to the report, “The DOJ used the threat of litigation—and the corresponding financial and reputational costs—to cause banks to take actions that a court would not have ordered them to do.”

We are still trying to figure out where it all went. But we do have some ideas. As with Obama’s corrupt green energy subsidies, it seems apparent that Holder’s DoJ extorted huge sums from banks specifically to funnel money to political allies. Schweizer documents how the DoJ flagrantly misused this money:

  • Provided funding for activist groups previously denied by Congress.
  • Incentivized banks to pay activist groups directly by counting each dollar donated this way as up to $10 against its actual fine.
  • Funneled $53 million to Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), led by a self-described “bank terrorist.”
  • Gave $4 million to Asian Americans for Equality, an organization with communist roots and close ties to a North Korean sympathizer.

Once the funds were distributed, Catalist and other Soros-funded left-wing voter mobilization operations encouraged recipients to get out the vote for those who were “reliably progressive.”

With the DoJ slush fund, President Obama upped federal financial support to left-wing partisans astronomically. But the federal government has been funding the Left’s extremist, anti-American agenda for decades. There are literally tens of thousands of tax-exempt organizations that provide healthy incomes for millions of leftists who seek to destroy our nation, many of which receive some or all of their revenues from government.

Schweizer’s report quotes Cornelia Mrose, who testified before Congress:

In 2012, federal state and local governments gave $137 billion to organizations in the form of grants and contracts. Of that amount, $81 billion went to social service groups including affordable housing groups, legal aid groups, civil rights groups, and ethnic groups…

The report goes on to say:

…while the ostensible purpose of these organizations was to provide help for vulnerable citizens, the “real purpose” was to augment the “power, control and reach of government via an army of community groups.”

Almost every one of this “army of community groups” is left-wing. One good example is an organization I am personally familiar with, Identity, Inc. of Gaithersburg, Maryland. Identity describes its mission and vision as “creat[ing] opportunities for Latino youth and their families to reach their highest potential,” and adds, “[w]e envision a just and equitable society that nurtures all youth and is enriched by their contributions.”

“All youth” refers to illegal alien youth, of course. In reality, Identity is an illegal alien advocacy group that uses militant tactics. In 2011, Maryland residents advanced a petition to place a referendum question on the 2012 ballot to defeat what was then the recently enacted state DREAM Act — which provided in-state college tuition for illegal aliens. Volunteers needed to obtain 55,736 petition signatures. They received double that amount. However, in its attempt to derail that effort, Identity joined another notorious government-funded illegal alien advocacy group, CASA de Maryland. These were the kinds of tactics they employed:

  • Screaming racist and obscene epithets in petition-bearers’ faces
  • Blocking interested citizens from approaching petition tables
  • Pleading with people not to sign
  • Passing out misleading “Think Before You Ink” flyers
  • Utilizing paid FieldWorks operatives who shadowed petition locations and coordinated by phone
  • Calling police to make bogus complaints
  • One petitioner even reported being spat at

Identity is almost entirely government-funded. Its most recent tax filing shows receipts of $5.2 million, of which $4.9 million — 94 percent — was government grants. Prior years show similar results. Your tax dollars at work! Similarly, CASA de Maryland, which has bragged about having such notables on its board of directors as DNC Chairman Thomas Perez and former Obama domestic policy director Cecilia Munoz, received $4.1 million in government funding in fiscal 2015, 47 percent of total revenues.

According to USASpending.gov, National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest illegal alien advocacy group in the U.S., has received $28.7 million from the federal government since 2008. NCLR also received $3.1 million from Bank of America’s $16.7 billion settlement. Was the $3.1 million counted among the receipts from government, or was it hidden in direct donations from Bank of America?

NCLR works through a network of 260 “affiliates” throughout the U.S., some of which also received settlement money. The National Mortgage Settlement Summary lists a total of over $2 million provided to four NCLR affiliates: El Centro de la Raza of Seattle, Washington, ($600,000); NeighborWorks, Orange County, California, ($345,000); Unity Council, Oakland, California, ($575,000); and Community Housing Works, San Diego, California, ($500,000). Were these part of La Raza’s $3.1 million, or other monies?

NeighborWorks America is a congressionally chartered organization created in 1978 as “Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation.” It changed its name in 2005. While it is supposed to provide housing counseling in low-income neighborhoods and other housing-related services, Schweizer reports that, in practice:

“housing needs” encompasses not only direct subsidies to purchase housing, but matters as diverse as the question of the minimum wage, whether and when felons ought to have their voting rights restored, voting rights, getting the vote out, and LGBT concerns.

NeighborWorks was a conduit of disbursements to many radical organizations, including the aforementioned “bank terrorist” group NACA, and the North Korea-linked Asian Americans for Equality. NeighborWorks receives almost all its funding from government: over $2 billion from the feds since 2007.

Everyone remembers ACORN, the criminal organization that hid its finances behind hundreds of shell companies until its game was finally exposed by Capital Research Center’s Matthew Vadum and others. Between 1994 and its bankruptcy filing in 2010, ACORN received at least $79 million from the federal government. ACORN reconstituted itself under different names but old ACORN affiliates continued to receive federal funds. For example, in 2011, ACORN affiliate  Affordable Housing Centers of America (originally called ACORN Housing), received a $300,000 HUD grant. In addition, the Mutual Housing Association of New York, which was also part of the old network of affiliated nonprofits, received $50,000 from the bank settlement, even though Congress banned federal funds from flowing to any member of the ACORN network.

But the American Civil Liberties Union is perhaps the most notorious example. A law enacted in 1976 – to be precise, Public Law 94-559, the Civil Rights Attorney’s Fees Act (42 USC, Section 1988) – allows attorneys to recover fees in civil rights and constitutional lawsuits against the government. The purpose was to make it easier for people of limited means to recover costs of lawsuits when their rights had been violated. As the definition of “constitutional rights” has broadened over the years, the ACLU has turned this law into both a weapon and a profit center. Its war chest gets help from taxpayer dollars each time the group wins. Following are just a few egregious examples:

  • $106,000 for a lawsuit alleging a local library policy violates a child’s constitutional right to view porn
  • $108,000 from Portland, Oregon for allowing the Boy Scouts to recruit during school hours
  • $549,000 from the state of Alabama for a lawsuit to remove a Ten Commandments monument from a courthouse
  • $150,000 from Barrow County, Georgia to remove the Ten Commandments from a courthouse
  • $950,000 from San Diego for a lawsuit demanding that the city throw the Boy Scouts out of a city park where members of that group had been gathering at their own expense for decades
  • $1 million (negotiated down from $2 million) against a small Pennsylvania school district which offered “intelligent design” theory as an alternative to Darwin’s evolution

There are thousands more cases just like this that you have doubtless heard about: forcing removal of Christmas displays, taking prayer out of school, forcing the Boy Scouts to accept homosexual Scout leaders, attacking voter integrity laws, etc. The list is endless — all of the traditions and laws that protect and define our nation and culture ripped from us while we pay the bill. Other left-wing groups use this law, but none as effectively or successfully as the ACLU.

The ACLU pleads poverty, claiming that these kinds of awards don’t keep them going. But these are truly alligator tears. According to Guidestar, the hundreds of ACLU branch offices and ACLU foundations nationwide have together amassed a total of over $650 million in current net assets. Most of this comes from private donations; however, when the ACLU is not defending terrorists, it is also recovering the costs of its activities courtesy the American taxpayer.

And it is not only the attorney fees we pay. When the ACLU takes a case to court, we are paying all the court costs to indulge its rabid left-wing viciousness whether it wins or loses, and tying up courts that should be working on real cases. It still amazes me that the ACLU, a demonstrably subversive, partisan organization, continues to enjoy tax-exempt status as a result. And for those of you yet unaware, ACLU co-founder Roger Baldwin said in 1928:

I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of all property, the abolition of the propertied class, and sole control by those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.

Baldwin left the ACLU in the 1950s, but ACLU’s extremist designs have never really changed. It is an agent of chaos, not civil rights.

Attorney General Sessions’s order to end the horrifying practice of sending billions of dollars to left-wing extremist organizations attacking our society is a great start. But that should never have happened in the first place.

Will congressional Republicans press for a review of all the thousands of radical left-wing groups receiving taxpayer support, both through their tax-exempt status, and the many cases where they are directly funded by government?

Don’t hold your breath.

Hypocrital Connecticut Congress members condemn Trump’s Russian ties: all are connected to pro-Moscow organizations

By: Trevor Loudon | New Zeal

From: WND

Few Congress members have been so critical of President Donald Trump’s Russian ties as has the Connecticut delegation.

Yet, Connecticut’s two Senators and five House members all have their own long standing ties to a pro-Moscow organizations, operating in their own state.

In early May, the entire delegation issued statements on the President’s Russian connections.

“The need for a special prosecutor is now crystal clear,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee who has called for a special prosecutor in the past. “President Trump has catastrophically compromised the FBI’s ongoing investigation of his own White House’s ties to Russia.”

Rep. Jim Himes, D-4th District, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, which is conducting its own investigation into possible ties with Russia, said, “I will do everything in my power to ensure that this irresponsible move doesn’t end the necessary work law enforcement is conducting to discover the truth about Russia, its interference in our democracy and any and all who might be complicit.”

Sen. Chris Murphy joined Blumenthal in calling for a special prosecutor. “No matter the mistakes that Director Comey has made, the timing of his firing clearly suggests that President Trump is trying to influence or upend the FBI’s investigation into his campaign’s possible collusion with a foreign government.”

U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney, D-2nd District, said the firing of Comey while he was “spearheading” the Russia investigation “does not pass the smell test…It is painfully clear that we need an immediate and independent investigation of all aspects relating to Russia’s meddling in our election. We need a review that the American people can have faith in.”

Rep. Elizabeth Esty, D-5th District, said the White House has shown a “corrosive pattern of disinformation and obstruction” over the last four months, which has “impeded the public’s ability to determine the full truth” about possible Russian interference.”

Rep. John B. Larson, D-1st District, said “The firing of FBI Director James Comey should renew every American and every member of Congress’s call for an independent investigation into Russian involvement.”

Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-3rd District, said the White House must provide “an urgent and thorough explanation” for its decision, given the ongoing FBI investigation into Russian interference.

“These events further underscore why I have continued to demand an independent commission with subpoena power in order to get to the bottom of the Russia investigation.”

All seven Congress members listed above have direct ties to the  pro-Moscow Connecticut Communist Party, through one or more of its three main front organizations: the Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans, the New Haven Peace Council, or the New Haven Peoples Center.

The Connecticut Communist Party has both huge influence on the Connecticut Democratic Party and extensive and ongoing ties to Moscow. These Moscow connections survived the “collapse of communism” and endure to this day.

Connecticut Communist Party leaders Art Perlo and Joelle Fishman are the son and daughter-in-law respectively of Roosevelt-era Soviet spy ring leader Victor Perlo.

Today’s Russian connection comes mainly through the work of the New Haven Peace Council, which is the main US affiliate of the former Soviet Union’s most influential international front organization, the World Peace Council, which is now run largely by Greek and Cuban communists, but maintains close links to the Putin allied Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

Two leading Connecticut Communist party supporters Al Marder and Henry Lowendorf are active in both the New Haven Peace Council and the World Peace Council. Those activities include a trip to Moscow in 2015, during which Marder addressed a Communist Party rally in downtown Moscow and got a comradely hug from Communist Party leader and Putin ally, Gennady Zyuganov.

Senator Blumenthal has long-term connections to the Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans, including to members Kevin Lynch, a Communist Party supporter and New Haven Peace Council activist, and to Communist Party member Win Heimer.

In 1988, Jim Himes submitted his thesis to Harvard University: “The Sandinista Defense Committees and the Transformation of Political Culture in Nicaragua” which praised the civilian “secret police units” of the pro-Soviet Sandinista regime.

According to Peoples World:

There was much to celebrate at the 89th anniversary of the “Communist Party USA” New Haven Connecticut Dec. 7. 2008.

The party and its allies, unionists and friends joined together this year to work diligently to help elect our first African American president, Barack Obama. Folks pounded the pavement in Bridgeport, Conn., to defeat the last standing congressional Republican, Chris Shays. His replacement, newly elected Jim Himes, is vowing to take the people’s agenda forward.

Rep. Himes is also a longtime friend of the Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans, including Communist Party supporters Kevin Lynch and Cal Bunnell.

Senator Chris Murphy was close to Connecticut Opposes the War in the early 2000s, an organization partially led by Communist Party supporter Henry Lowendorf. He is also very close to Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans, including activists such as Lowendorf and Communist Party leaders Joelle Fishman and Win Heimer.

Rep. John B. Larson visited communist Cuba in  May 2015, which included a meeting with Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.

Larson has extensive ties to Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans, including to Communist Party supporter Kevin Lynch and to Party member Win Heimer.

Back in the 1980s, Rep. Rosa DeLauro led Countdown ‘87, which pushed to defund the US war against Nicaragua’s pro-Soviet government.

Rep. DeLauro keynoted at the August 2010 kickoff event for Social Security’s 75th birthday held at the Communist Party USA run New Haven People’s Center by the Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans. The meeting was chaired by DeLauro’s longtime friend, Connecticut Communist Party Chair Joelle Fishman.

Rep. DeLauro, Joelle Fishman

The March 2012 Host Committee, in honor of Connecticut Communist Party veteran  Alf Marder‘s 90th Birthday Celebration, held at the New Haven People’s Center included  Hon. Rosa DeLauro, several Democratic state reps, Communist Party members Joelle Fishman, Craig Gauthier, Jarvis Tyner and Party supporters Henry Lowendorf and the Rev. Scott Marks.

Rep. DeLauro congratulated comrade Marder in the Congressional Record:

Mr. Speaker, it is a pleasure for me to rise today to join the many friends, family, and community leaders who have gathered to celebrate the outstanding contributions of Alfred L. Marder as he celebrates his 90th birthday. Al is one of our community’s most active advocates—dedicating much of his life to fighting for social justice and the improvement of the quality of life for all.

Rep. DeLauro visited communist Cuba in 2007, 2014 (when she met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parilla), 2015 and 2016.

Rosa DeLauro is one of the House’s highest ranking Democrats. Rep. Jim Himes serves on the House Intelligence Committee. Rep. Joe Courtney serves on the House Armed Services Committee.

Senator Murphy serves on the the Foreign Relations Committee. Senator Blumenthal serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

All are, to put it mildly, security risks.

Every one of the Connecticut Congressional delegation would, if they were applying for low level federal jobs, struggle to pass an FBI background check. Fortunately for them, no security checks are required for Congress or Senate members.

All of them are within two or three degrees of separation from Russia.

President Trump needs to turn the tables. To call the left’s bluff. The Democrats have been in bed with Moscow for 50 years now. The “collapse of communism” only made it safer to connect with pro-Moscow groups.

Let’s hope President Trump will call out America’s real Russian partisans, before they destroy his Presidency.

The American voters deserve the truth.

The Working Class Republican… A Book Review

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

For those who know me well, there are two presidents that I loved more than all the others. The first is Calvin Coolidge. The second is Ronald Reagan who idolized Coolidge. A new book has come out that I highly recommend that is written by Henry Olsen, entitled: The Working Class Republican – Ronald Reagan And The Return Of Blue-Collar Conservatism. President Reagan changed my life and made me a staunch constitutional conservative. So of course, this book intrigued me.

In this book, Olsen takes a controversial stand that Roosevelt’s New Deal was more conservative than anyone knew. The book promotes that Ronald Reagan was the natural heir to the New Deal. Now, I personally don’t agree with that, but I find Olsen’s argument very interesting. I think you will too. Some of the things that Olsen puts forth are correct. Reagan appealed to both Democrats and Republicans because he used common sense, truth and passion to get his points across. And when he was elected, he had a clear plan, kept his promises and got things done. He worked within the government, not against it to accomplish his agenda. He was monstrously successful at it too.

From HarperCollins Publishers:

In this sure to be controversial book in the vein of The Forgotten Man, a political analyst argues that conservative icon Ronald Reagan was not an enemy of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the New Deal, but his true heir and the popular program’s ultimate savior.

Conventional political wisdom views the two most consequential presidents of the twentieth-century—FDR and Ronald Reagan—as ideological opposites. FDR is hailed as the champion of big-government progressivism manifested in the New Deal. Reagan is seen as the crusader for conservatism dedicated to small government and free markets. But Henry Olsen argues that this assumption is wrong.

In The Working Class Republican, Olsen contends that the historical record clearly shows that Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal itself were more conservative than either Democrats or Republicans believe, and that Ronald Reagan was more progressive than most contemporary Republicans understand. Olsen cuts through political mythology to set the record straight, revealing how Reagan—a longtime Democrat until FDR’s successors lost his vision in the 1960s—saw himself as FDR’s natural heir, carrying forward the basic promises of the New Deal: that every American deserves comfort, dignity, and respect provided they work to the best of their ability.

Olsen corrects faulty assumptions driving today’s politics. Conservative Republican political victories over the last thirty years have not been a rejection of the New Deal’s promises, he demonstrates, but rather a representation of the electorate’s desire for their success—which Americans see as fulfilling the vision of the nation’s founding. For the good of all citizens and the GOP, he implores Republicans to once again become a party of “FDR Conservatives”—to rediscover and support the basic elements of FDR (and Reagan’s) vision.

Henry Olsen is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. A former president of the Commonwealth Foundation, he has also served in senior leadership roles at the Manhattan Institute and American Enterprise Institute. Olsen earned his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and J.D. from the University of Chicago. This is a brilliant and thoughtful man. And one that would be fascinating to debate points with.

The book draws parallels between the Trump presidency and Reagan’s. Perhaps there are some, but for the most part, I don’t see them. Trump did mimic Reagan to some extent, but their styles and methodology are as different as night and day. Olsen applies to American politics what he terms the “truckers and cashiers” test. Truck driving is the biggest employer of white, working-class men, and being a cashier or waitress is the most common blue-collar job for white, working-class women. For Reagan, “virtually every speech had this person in mind, and virtually every speech had something that person could uniquely relate to.” Trump does this to some extent as well, but not nearly as effectively. He is attempting to work within the government framework somewhat, but not to the extent or the manner that Ronald Reagan did.

Read the book and decide for yourself if there is indeed a connection between FDR and Reagan. It’s a fascinating conclusion that deserves considering. But in the end… personally I feel Reagan was the disciple far more of Coolidge than he was of FDR. Pick up a copy of Olsen’s fascinating book here.

When Evangelicals Become Useful Idiots for Islamism

By: James Simpson | American Thinker

Our culture looks to be coming apart at the seams. The June 14 attack on the GOP Congressional Baseball team is only an exclamation point in an increasingly hostile, increasingly violent, premeditated campaign by Democrats and other leftists to create an atmosphere of ungovernable anarchy. The Christian church has not escaped this agenda. In fact, it has become a major target. The Left, in concert with its allies among atheists, Islamists, and the homosexual lobby, is engaged in a multi-front war to destroy what remains of our nation’s Christian bedrock. One of the fronts in this war comes under the innocuous heading “Interfaith Dialog“. It sounds so compelling: a mutually beneficial outreach for “differing faith traditions” to find common ground and join forces to mend the fractious divisions between Muslims, Christians, Jews, and for that matter, practically everyone else.

But that is not what is accomplished. As Robert Spencer repeatedly argues, most Muslims want to live their lives like the rest of us. They want nothing to do with the radical jihadis, Islamic terrorism, or indeed much of the classical interpretations of Islam that classifies women and non-Muslims as second-class citizens. The problem is that while apologists reassure us that we have nothing to fear, those in the forefront of this battle, like the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the hundreds of other Muslim Brotherhood front groups, are determined to use every tactic at their disposal to deconstruct our laws, our Constitution and our religious and secular institutions, to replace them with the Islamic version, Sharia law. As Spencer says, “They take advantage of our ignorance about Islam to mislead people into complacency about Islam.”

And while the political side pushes for Muslim “rights”, the violent side communicates its intentions with murder. Both seek destruction of Western society, they just use different methods. This is little different from, for example, the campaign of violence conducted for decades by the Irish Republican Army, and its political arm Sinn Fein, which pushed for, and obtained, representation in Ireland’s government. The IRA/Sinn Fein are Marxist, and these are the tactics communists have successfully pursued all over the world. The Islamists have adopted this strategy and now work with them. We call it the Red-Green Axis.

Chris Gaubatz investigated CAIR undercover for six months while posing as an intern, and provided the raw material for his father’s explosive book, Muslim Mafia. He has also testified before the U.S. Congress regarding Islamic subversion tactics. Gaubatz warns about the interfaith dialog:

Their whole purpose with this [interfaith dialogue] narrative war is to shut the discussion down because if you can shut the discussion down…and distance Islam from any part of the problem, then the people that are charged with protecting citizens are always looking elsewhere for the problem…and the problem is, and always has, been rooted right in Islam and right in the Sharia, they’re intertwined.

James White is a well-known conservative Christian evangelist who has been seduced by the siren call of the Interfaith Dialog, and has partnered with a Muslim Imam, Dr. Yasir Qadhi, to “educate” Americans on the Muslim religion. White finds their budding relationship “refreshing” and expounds on how much he has learned about Islam from his newfound friend. He calls Qadhi his “mentor” on aspects of Islam. He bristles at those who suggest he is being used, and instead has gone on offense, engaging his allies among Christian conservatives to attack his critics. And just as the #NeverTrumpers have created a war within the GOP, and assisted in Democrat efforts to make our nation ungovernable by vilifying and hobbling President Trump, so Christians like this have created new fissures in the Church that will not advance the Christian message, but rather further dilute and weaken it by allowing clever, articulate Muslims to explain why Islam is the ultimate religion.

From the Muslim perspective, White probably couldn’t have picked a more effective apologist. Yasir Qadhi has an engaging manner, is very articulate and seems conciliatory. His speeches show that he is absolutely unwavering in his defense of Islam — which White acknowledges — while he recognizes the major Judeo-Christian “prophets.” In a discussion with White, Qadhi states that Islam is essentially the same as Judaism and Christianity. “This in a nutshell is Islam: that there is but one God; this God is worthy of veneration and worship; and to be a good person you have to believe in Him, worship Him, follow the law, obey the commandments, and if you do so there will be a life after death and there is heaven or hell where there is accountability…”

Yasir Qadhi (L) and Dr. James White (R)

Sounds nice. But it reflects a basic misunderstanding of Christianity that he can only get away with because unfortunately it has become a mainstream assumption about “Christianity” in our increasingly secular society. Christianity, unique in all religions, does not condition salvation on works. Christians believe you don’t get to heaven by being “a good person,” or obeying the commandments. Indeed, the whole point of Christianity is that no one is good enough, no one can earn his or her way to heaven, as the New Testament makes plain, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). Christians believe that was the entire point of Christ, who came to earth to intercede on our behalf. Christians believe that without Christ, we are all destined for Hell. We are all sinners. Christians are not saved by doing good works or being good. They are saved purely and solely by the grace of God alone through faith. As the Apostle Paul says, “And this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

And there is the key, “so that no one may boast.” Any religion that justifies salvation through works deifies pride. Not the pride of workmanship or accomplishment, but the pride of self. And that kind of pride is #1 on the list of the seven deadly sins. It elevates mankind for his works, and says, “We are better than you because of what we do.” That kind of thinking justifies practically every form of evil on earth, from prejudice to genocide.

Christians don’t come before God saying “look what I’ve done! Aren’t you proud of me?” Christians come before God begging for mercy, because they believe, to a man, that we have sinned and fallen short. And while there may be individuals in history that justified violence on behalf of Christianity, nowhere does Christianity advocate it. Instead, it says we are to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and forgive others “seventy times seven” (Matthew 18:22). Christianity calls for humility, not self-righteous preening, and the good works Christians do are supposed to be out of gratitude to their Savior, and to honor Him, not as a way to curry favor with God.

Not so with Islam. It is all about works. Furthermore, according to Qadhi, Islam is supreme. In a keynote speech before the 2016 Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA)-Muslim American Society (MAS) Convention, Qadhi described Moses’ miracles — turning his staff into a snake and parting the Red Sea; he described how Jesus brought  Lazarus back to life. (He did not discuss Jesus’ resurrection however because Muslims don’t believe Jesus is the Son of God, nor that he was ever resurrected). Qadhi says you would have had to live in those times to witness those miracles.

But not so with the Koran, which he describes as “the greatest miracle” because it lives on to this day. The Koran is “the eternal miracle.” No other miracle is needed in Islam, and Qadhi quotes Mohammad as saying that “the only miracle Allah has given me is the Koran.” In other words, Islam is supreme. Furthermore, Islam is a religion of works. You must believe, or else. If you pray towards Mecca five times a day and follow all the other Muslim commandments, you are free to engage in all kinds of barbaric lunacy, from child rape to beheading, all in Allah’s name. Not only does Islam tell you what works you must perform, it specifies the punishments you are allowed to mete out to those who don’t follow the law.

Qadhi claims to oppose violent Jihad and characterizes ISIS as “crazy,” “something we have never seen before.” For that he has been called “apostate” in the ISIS publication, Dabiq, along with Keith Ellison, Huma Abedin, Mohamed Elibiary, and others. However, it is difficult to understand how someone so certain of Islam’s supremacy could at the same time work against it as ISIS claims he is doing. But Qadhi has much bigger problems that Dr. White is either unaware of or dismisses:

  • According to the New York Times, Qadhi is a Salafist, an ultraconservative sect of Islam associated with, but predating Saudi Wahhabism. Osama bin Laden was a Salafist.
  • Qadhi is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA). The AMJA is at the forefront of legal battles to legitimize Sharia law in U.S. courts.
  • Qadhi is both Dean of Academic Affairs and instructor at the Al Maghrib Institute, which has produced numerous jihadis. He personally taught Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian “Underwear Bomber.”
  • His speech at the ICNA-MAS convention is just one of many he has given at functions produced by organizations associated with radical Islam.

◦ MAS is a Muslim Brotherhood front.

◦ At the 14th Annual ICNA-MAS conference, MAS Immigrant Justice Ctr. Director Khalilah Sabra called for an Egypt-style nationwide street revolution.

◦ At that same conference, CAIR Director Nihad Awad declared CAIR’s alliance with Black Lives Matter. CAIR has since participated in  nationwide BLM protests.

◦ Anti-Trump protester Linda Sarsour has also spoken at ICNA-MAS conferences.

◦ ICNA is the American branch of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI).

◦ JI’s military wing owned the Pakistani compound where Osama bin Laden hid out and was finally killed by U.S. Special Forces.

◦ JI rivals the Muslim Brotherhood in its influence in modern Islam and is allied with the Brotherhood as well as Saudi Sunni Islamists.

◦ Like the MB, it developed a modern “revolutionary conception of Islam”.

  • According to Understanding the Threat, Qadhi works with Hamas and other terrorist groups and has publicly defended notorious Islamists, including Sami al Arian, convicted terrorist Ali al-Timimi, American Taliban fighter John Walker Lindh and al Qaeda terrorist Aafia Siddiqui.
  • Qadhi invited Imam Siraj Wahhaj, “an all-time favorite of all of us,” to speak at Qadhi’s “Pleasant View” Islamic school in Memphis, TN. Wahhaj is a member of Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and spoke in court in defense of the so-called “Blind Sheik”, Omar Abdel Rahman, who was convicted as the bombing’s mastermind.

Now, Qadhi is not alone in lionizing Wahhaj. The Democratic Party featured Wahhaj in its first-ever Jumah, held at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. But this is not evidence of his moderation. Instead it shows just how far off the edge the Democratic Party has gone.

So never mind the doctrinal differences, Dr. White seems to have really picked a winner here. Now, in fairness to Dr. White, he plainly states that there are problems with Islam — with its doctrine and its violence. Rather than being helpful, however, this simply disarms us by reassuring us that he is aware of the problems. So what does he do about it? He asks Qadhi to make a video that explains Islam to Christians. So, even assuming Qadhi means what he says, do you really expect him to get into those inconvenient truths?

One can find many passages in the Old Testament that call for extreme punishments. For example, Mosaic law treats adultery, homosexuality, incest, and bestiality as capital crimes. (Leviticus 20), but does that happen today? Only in Islam are these and other extreme punishments meted out for such behavior. Only in Islam is stoning and beheading still a routine form of execution. You could argue that ISIS does not follow Islamic law, but only in some of the novel forms of execution ISIS has dreamed up.

Conservative Christian evangelist and radio show host Brannon Howse has taken White on. Howse explained his case in a recent post:

I am saddened and heart-broken that people from conservative Bible and reformed institutions and churches think that holding a dialogue with a Jihadi imam in a church is acceptable. But to some, it now appears to be.

I have been writing and speaking on radio about Yasir Qadhi for several years, so it is not like I went looking for this controversy. I found it because I was on YouTube listening to speeches by Yasir and stumbled on videos of James White in a church in my hometown facilitating what was described as an “interfaith dialogue.”

Howse said that “participating in this sort of event with non-believers clearly violates the teaching of 2 John 9-11 and 2 Corinthians 6:14.” Howse believes that White is simply playing into the Islamist’s hands, and calls him a “dupe” and “useful idiot.”

These terms may sound harsh, but are very apropos in this circumstance. “Useful idiot” is a term coined by Soviet leaders to describe Western liberals who enthusiastically promoted the communist line without knowing it. Today the “Interfaith Dialog” seeks to do the same for Islam.

Instead of considering that reality however, White’s friends and allies have gone on the warpath. Probably the most prominent is Phil Johnson, Executive Director of John MacArthur’s Grace To You ministries, who said on Facebook that “Howse’s critique is overblown and exaggerated to a shameful degree,” despite acknowledging that, “In the years I’ve been at GCC (Grace Christian Church) we have never sponsored any kind of debate with an unbeliever.”

We are facing a multi-front, aggressive effort to disarm, emasculate, and delegitimize our nation. Apologists like Mr. Qadhi assure us there is nothing to fear, while the Islamist political operatives viciously attack us as “bigots” and “Islamophobes” when we express the slightest skepticism. Meanwhile our instincts and the increasing frequency of deadly attacks played out before our eyes every day, tell us otherwise. We really do need to confront the dangers posed by Islamic terrorism and the subversive effort to advance the conquest ideology of Sharia law. The answer, however, is not to make pretend there is no problem.
