Michael Wolff

It was reported yesterday that Michael Wolff, the author of the book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” “has tapes to back up quotes in his incendiary book — dozens of hours of them.” The report prompted Newsweek to declare “MICHAEL WOLFF RECORDED INTERVIEWS FOR ‘FIRE AND FURY,’ INCLUDING TAPING STEVE BANNON“!

But when asked on Friday if he was willing to release the recordings, he dodged the question.

If Wolff really has audio of his interviews with Steve Bannon as he claims, he should release it. But this author is willing to go out on a limb and say loudly that there is no audio of interviews with Bannon making incendiary statements because Michael Wolff is a liar. This is evidenced in the tweets below and  summed up well here and here.

Michael Wolff was asked about the recordings on NBC’s Today show on Friday morning, as the Fake News media continue to give as much air time as possible to a proven liar whose narrative suits them:

Host Savannah Guthrie: “You stand by everything in the book? Nothing made up?”

“Absolutely everything in the book,” Wolff replied. “I work like every journalist works. I have recordings, I have notes. I am certainly and absolutely, in every way, comfortable with everything I’ve reported in this book.”

Watch the discussion about the recording from 2:36 – 3:40:

Evidently, it is lucrative to make up lies about President Trump and put them in a book. As reported breathlessly at CNN:

“The book soared to No. 1 on Amazon’s best selling books list on Wednesday and has remained there ever since.”

Here is a compilation of tweets that proves something is amiss.

There is absolutely no reason that this demonstrably false book should have ever gotten the ridiculous amount of publicity that it did. If a conservative book started out of the gate with such discrepancies, it would be discredited from the beginning. The mainstream media ignores books with explosive, strongly sourced and accurate information, such as Trevor Loudon’s “Enemies Within,” while propping up fake books that suit their narrative. If Wolff has actual audio of Bannon’s most controversial comments, he would have released it.
