New Citizenship Applications for Asgardia

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

For those that are as old as me, you may remember Ralph Cramden telling his wife Alice, “To the moon!” Well, that time is here. Except, Alice would be an Asgardian if she launched and landed on the moon. Send postcards when you can.

Space Platform

Asgardia will be a fully fledged, independent nation inhabited on a low Earth orbit. It began with a satellite, Asgardia-1, that was launched in 2017, to be followed by an orbital satellite constellation launch in 2019-2020 and later by other satellite constellations and Space Arks, as well as by settlements on the Moon.

Who will be your leader? Well there is one already. And there is a Constitution.

There are already citizens. Asgardia Nation: Citizens 203,865 Residents 218,396

Click here to see where they are from.

There is also an anthem for Asgardia.

FIRST IN HISTORY INAUGURATION OF THE HEAD OF THE FIRST SPACE NATION ASGARDIA

Asgardia’s first Head of Nation, Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli, was inaugurated on the 25th of June at the Hofburg Palace with guests from over 40 countries from across the world.

In attendance were ambassadors of more than 10 countries, representatives of a number of major public organizations affiliated with UN structures, newly elected Asgardian Members of Parliament, astronauts, space industry managers, scientists, international lawyers and media from all over the world.

Taking part in the ceremony was the Chairman of Parliament, Lembit Öpik, a former leader of the Welsh Assembly and Member of the British Parliament. The Head of the Supreme Court, Dr. Yun Zhao, also took part—a well-known lawyer in the field of space law, a professor at Hong Kong University and a member of a number of arbitration courts.

After taking his oath of office, Dr. Ashurbeyli announced that, within the next 25 years, Asgardia will have habitable space stations and stationary settlements on the Moon equipped with artificial gravity and protection from cosmic radiation which will effectively enable permanent human habitation in space. In the coming months, he also announced that Asgardia’s first government administration will be formed, during which time a Cabinet of Ministers will be appointed, alongside the formation of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the National Audit Office and the Supreme Space Council.

Democratic Socialists Of America’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: The Communist Millennial Face Of The Democrat Party

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Democratic Socialists of America New York candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won in an upset last night in the primary against incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) in the 14th congressional district there. She is a 28 year-old Latino and the new communist millennial face of the Democratic Party. Her district spans Queens and the Bronx and she self-describes as a “democratic socialist.” No one thought she had a chance, but she crushed Crowley, 57.6% to 42.4%, a margin of nearly 3,600 votes. As much as I despise Crowley, this is far worse. It looks like the Dems are fully embracing the Marxists and aren’t afraid to run with it now.

Crowley was in his 10th term and was the chair of the House Democratic Caucus. He was ranked 4th in the caucus and was considered a possible future candidate for Speaker of the House to replace Nancy Pelosi. Crowley had not faced a primary challenge in 14 years. He just got handed his hat by a young Latino woman. He is now the first casualty of the so-called “Resistance,” but even worse… this is the first DSAer to have a real shot at sitting in Congress. Perhaps New York should have taken Trevor Loudon seriously on this.

Politico stated that Ocasio-Cortez “challenged Crowley on ideological and racial grounds.” She made the argument that the district needed a more left-wing representative, as well as someone who reflected the “majority-minority” demographic of the area, which has become increasingly Latino. That hit a chord with her liberal districts. They say she is a shoo-in to become the youngest woman ever elected to Congress in November. That should scare the crap out of Americans.

Ocasio-Cortez is not shy in her views. She’s a devout follower of socialist Bernie Sanders. Her platform promises the abolishment of ICE and the nationalization of healthcare using a single payer system. She promises to impeach President Trump as well. Other planks include Medicare for all, a universal jobs guarantee, no tuition for education at schools or universities, paid family and sick leave, housing as a human right, ending the war on drugs, demilitarization of the police, doing away with prisons, open borders and decriminalization for illegal aliens, an infrastructure overhaul using green energy, ending corporate donations in politics and a peaceful economy (whatever the heck that means). Her campaign even adopted the zombie-like “mic check” first seen at radical Occupy Wall Street protests in 2011.

“These results are also a shot across the bow of the Democratic establishment in Washington: a young, diverse, and boldly progressive Resistance Movement isn’t waiting to be anointed by the powers that be,” said Matt Blizek, of MoveOn. Ocasio-Cortez ran a low-budget campaign and was outspent by an 18-1 margin, but won the endorsement of some influential groups on the party’s far left, including MoveOn.

Just before the New York primary, Ocasio-Cortez traveled to McAllen, Texas to join left-wing protests against President Trump’s immigration policies. She organized a large volunteer contingent to canvas her district while she was away. Like Obama, she is an expert organizer. Most communists are. She claims that ICE is running ‘black sites’ on the border where human-rights abuses occur. That’s a blatant lie.

She’s also an anti-Semite. Ocasio-Cortez called Israel’s response to violent Hamas “protests” at the Gaza border a “massacre.” She also went after Crowley for his alleged support for the transfer of the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Above is an interview with left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept published on June 12. According to The Washington Free Beacon, “Ocasio-Cortez called the riots orchestrated by Hamas “political expression.” Greenwald claimed Israel had shot “more than 1,000 peaceful, unarmed protesters in Gaza” as he formulated his question and read out a tweet quoting Ocasio-Cortez calling the violence a “massacre” perpetrated by the Israelis.”

Celebrities love Ocasio-Cortez. Susan Sarandon came out for her… she’s always been a big Bernie Sanders supporter. Her campaign ads were slick, sharp, innovative and eye-catching propagnada. And she drew on widespread grassroots frustration with the Democratic Party establishment. Ocasio-Cortez will face Republican Anthony Pappas, an economics professor, in November. Let’s hope and pray he wins. This is yet another sign of the Democrats sliding to the extreme left of the spectrum. MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” slobbered all over the young Marxist.

“Have you had a chance to take it all in, and how are you feeling?” Mika Brzezinski asked Ocasio-Cortez. “You know, it feels great,” she responded. “It felt great even before the results came in, walking around the community, seeing how many people were excited to vote yesterday was incredible. And I think we’re just kind of still processing with the rest of the nation right now.” Brzezinski also claimed that Ocasio-Cortez has the “clearest message” that she’s heard from a Democrat while Joe Scarborough fawned over her “hard work” knocking on doors to win the election.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is proud of her heritage… but she prefers to be called the gender-neutral pronoun “Latinx.” “Latinx,” as HuffPost explained in 2016, is the new, progressive way to refer to people of Latin American descent, replacing the traditional -o or -a for male or female, respectively.” She strikes me as racist in her extremes and certainly uber radical. She is very dangerous and could sweep away any remaining somewhat sane politicians in the Democrat Party. If she wins, she will herald in a whole new raft of young progressive communists who will follow in her wake.

Justice Alito and Plaintiff Janus Saved Free Speech

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

Excellent!

There are an estimated 5 million government employees in 24 States. Mark Janus is an Illinois State employee that has been forced to pay $600 per year to the public sector union known as AFSCME. In a 5-4 ruling with the opinion written by Justice Alito, no more forced dues are required even when you are not a member of a union. Of course, Justice Elena Kagan wrote a dissenting opinion stating that ‘its crusade by the majority is turning the First Amendment into a sword’.

AFSCME President Lee Saunders had argued that strong labor unions are needed because they give “the strength in numbers [workers] need to fight for the freedoms they deserve,” including retirement plans and health care.

The repercussions could affect unions nationwide. Union membership nationwide is less than 11 percent of the American workforce, but about a third of government employees are members. More here.

As a condition of employment, a person is forced to pay up to keep their job while they have no voice in lobby efforts, where money is spent or in collective bargaining.

The Janus case started in the 7th circuit and the union fee case has been going on for an estimated 40 years. Janus was represented by Mark Mix, the president of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation.

The basis of the argument is being forced to pay union fees of any sort is coerced political speech. Part of the Alito decision includes:

Compelling individuals to mouth support for views they find objectionable violates that cardinal constitutional command, and in most contexts, any such effort would be universally condemned. Suppose, for example, that the State of Illinois required all residents to sign a document expressing support for a particular set of positions on controversial public issues—say, the platform of one of the major political parties. No one, we trust, would seriously argue that the First Amendment permits this. Perhaps because such compulsion so plainly violates the Constitution, most of our free speech cases have involved restrictions on what can be said, rather than laws compelling speech. But measures compelling speech are at least as threatening.

When speech is compelled, however, additional damage is done. In that situation, individuals are coerced into betraying their convictions. Forcing free and independent individuals to endorse ideas they find objectionable is always demeaning, and for this reason, one of our land mark free speech cases said that a law commanding “in voluntary affirmation” of objected-to beliefs would require “even more immediate and urgent grounds” than a law demanding silence.

The 82 page opinion is found here. It is compelling reading.

Open Secrets, a site for money in government published this in part:

2018 $13,352,634 80% 19%

That number above represents union money to legislators where 80% went to Democrats and 19% went to Republicans.

Since 1989, public sector unions have contributed $385 million to federal elections and Democrats have received the vast majority of that money. In the 2016 election, those groups pumped $63.8 million into races, 90 percent of which went to Democrats. So far in the 2018 cycle, $13.4 million has gone toward races, with 80 percent benefiting Democrats.

The top 20 politicians to receive money from public sectors since 1989 have been Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer.

In this election cycle, Democratic senators in hotly contested races have benefited from union support.

In the past 10 years, public sector unions also spent nearly $160 million on lobbying.

Overall, 28 states have passed so-called “right-to-work” laws, which ban requirements for union membership or fees. The states include Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana, former union strongholds where average hourly wages and union memberships have slipped since the laws passed.

A dip in union membership would likely bring a significant drop in funding for big union political spenders like AFSCME, which has spent $114 million on federal elections since 1989.

Other top spenders that would see their funds potentially slashed include the National Education Association, the Service Employees International Union and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).

RNC Releases Devastating Political Ad Attacking Radical Marxist Democrats… “The Left in 2018: Unhinged”

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has released a killer ad against the left. The brutal campaign ad attacks Democrats and the left ahead of the 2018 midterms. In it, you see a montage of violent rhetoric and actions highlighting just how unhinged the left has become. The ad follows Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) calling for the harassment of members of the Trump administration on Saturday. “A few years ago, ideas that we talked about were thought to be fringe ideas, radical ideas, extremist ideas, those ideas are now mainstream,” booms audio of former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders at the start of the video, before the ad flashes to burning limousines and Kathy Griffin holding a bloody replica of President Trump’s head. “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country,” laments House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

“And if you see anybody from the cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they are not welcome anywhere anymore,” snarls Waters. In another clip, Maher encourages a “crashing economy” to tank the president’s approval ratings. Depp asks, “when was the last time an actor assassinated a president,” while Madonna confesses to having “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.” The ad ends with Snoop Dogg shooting a Trump stand-in during one of his music videos. The video is only one minute and seven seconds, so there is not near enough time to show all the violent rhetoric, but it does an excellent job of encapsulating it.

Following its release, Donald Trump Jr. promoted the RNC ad on Twitter, calling it the “Best @GOP ad ever” and “So true.” As AllahPundit put it, “The midterms are lit.”

“Voters have a clear choice in 2018, the Democrat Party is the party of obstruction and extreme rhetoric while the Republican Party is working to deliver a stronger economy for all Americans,” RNC spokesman Steve Guest told The Daily Wire. I love the ad… it shows instances of the left calling for violence, harassment and intimidation against the Trump administration. That needs to be spotlighted because I think things are going to get much worse and far more violent out there.

The massive divide between the left and the right is getting ever wider these days. The message of the left currently, other than impeaching President Trump, is to do away with ICE and open the borders. They hate the rule of law and are desperate to solidify a permanent Marxist voting bloc. With the never ending call for violence in the background, we’re now listening to actors, politicians and celebrities openly fantasize about killing the president. I recommend you read Mao’s “Little Red Book” and “The Coming Insurrection.” Those are the playbooks of the left these days. Violence solves everything for communists.

Art Moore at WND nailed it:

A writer for the popular progressive news website Splinter is warning supporters of President Trump that if they have a problem with the heckling of administration officials in public places, they haven’t seen anything yet.

“Do you think that being asked to leave a restaurant, or having your meal interrupted, or being called by the public is bad? My fascism-enabling friends, this is only the beginning,” writes Splinter senior writer Hamilton Nolan.

Pointing to history, he writes that the U.S. “had thousands of domestic bombings per year in the early 1970s.”

“This is what happens when citizens decide en masse that their political system is corrupt, racist, and unresponsive,” says Nolan.

“The people out of power have only just begun to flex their dissatisfaction. The day will come, sooner that you all think, when Trump administration officials will look back fondly on the time when all they had to worry about was getting hollered at at a Mexican restaurant.”

He reasons that when “you aggressively f— with people’s lives, you should not be surprised when they decide to f— with yours.”

That’s the left – they are cheering on the resurrection of terrorists such as Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground. And Maxine Waters is now claiming God is on their side… communists invoke God usually just before they kill a bunch of people. Just sayin’. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Karen Pence, Barron Trump, ICE agents, police and many others were harassed and threatened just last week.

The left is escalating this and they are embracing communist radicalism and violence. The RNC uses supercuts of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), Johnny Depp, Snoop Dogg, Bill Maher, Madonna and Samantha Bee to show this in the ad. It depicts leftists inciting violence and mob rule. This video showcases that perfectly.

#Oregon: Congressman Earl Blumenauer calls to ‘Abolish’ ICE

By: Renee Nal | New Zeal

Congressman Earl Blumenauer from Oregon with DACA recipient and activist Aldo Alán Solano Mendéz (right).

Congressman Earl Blumenauer from Oregon wrote a bizarre article for Medium titled “It’s time we abolish ICE.” His compelling argument is that the Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) department is “failing us.” Blumenauer is one of the Democratic members of Congress who boycotted President Trump’s State of the Union address in January, opting to send a DACA recipient in his place.

The “DREAMer” was Aldo Alán Solano Mendéz. Mendez, who, like many of his fellow DACA recipients, is a hard-core progressive activist fighting for amnesty.

Aldo Alán Solano Mendéz leads march for Amnesty in March 2018.

On ICE, Blumenauer writes in part:

“There is no turning back when agents of the federal government and our ‘commander-in-chief’ lose respect for humanity and treat people like animals.”

“We should abolish ICE and start over, focusing on our priorities to protect our families and our borders in a humane and thoughtful fashion. Now is the time for immigration reform that ensures people are treated with compassion and respect. Not only because it is the moral thing to do, but it’s better policy and will cost less.”
