DUBAI (Reuters) – Hundreds of thousands of Iranians marched and some burned U.S. flags to mark the revolution’s 40th anniversary on Monday as Tehran showed off ballistic missiles in defiance of U.S. efforts to curb its military power.

Soldiers, students, clerics and black-clad women holding small children thronged streets across Iran, many with portraits of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the Shi’ite cleric who toppled the Shah in an Islamic uprising that still haunts the West.

Muslim socialist attorney Yasmine Taeb is challenging Virginia Senate Minority Leader Dick Saslaw (D-VA) for the seat representing Northern Virginia’s 35th District that he’s held since 1980.

While a longshot (Saslaw usually wins with more than 70 percent of the vote), Taeb may have powerful allies in her camp.

Currently, she is seeking the endorsement of a group she formally joined last fall: the country’s largest Marxist organization, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). DSA activists from Northern Virginia and Washington pulled off a major upset in November 2017 when their comrade in the DSA, Lee J. Carter (another socialist running as a Democrat), unseated Republican House of Delegates Majority Whip Jackson Miller in the 50th District.

Fake news media faces a lawsuit for false reporting which caused the high-tech lynching of the Covington Catholic high school students who attended the 2019 March for Life. New York legislators gave a standing ovation to killing babies on the date of birth. The governor of Virginia sought to legalize killing babies after birth. These three attacks have made Americans more aware of Democrats’ culture of death and war on the unborn. Abortion is front and center on the international political stage.

Since the Roe v Wade abortion-on-demand decision in 1973, 60 million babies have been killed. Pro-lifers are passionately energized to challenge Roe. Praise God!

Much has been written and testimony was given about how China steals state secrets.  

It steals by all means available in what is termed, industrial espionage. The Justice Department has prosecuted numerous Chinese spies and other operatives in the agriculture, banking, military, and telecommunications industries. Several government agencies, including the Justice Department and the Pentagon, have declared that ZTE and Huawei products are forbidden. 

Now we learn that it is not limited to just the traditional business world.

Both Senators Rubio and Cruz have sounded the alarm bells of yet another Chinese infection that is happening on college campuses, the Confucius Institute. That Institute is part of yet other spying and influence operations as noted by the FBI, going back at least a year. Incredibly, there are some professors being paid stipends by the Chinese government.
