Well, if you weren’t incensed over the censorship and bannings at Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube before… maybe this will get you there. Pinterest had a whistleblower out them over censorship of pro-lifers, Christians, and conservatives. Project Veritas has exposed them and now the crap has hit the fan. This is all out war and it won’t end the way the left envisioned. It will mobilize the right and bind them with a righteous cause – a constitutional one.

Pinterest blacklisted a top pro-life site by labeling it as “pornography.” Even after a complaint was filed, they left it there. Eventually, it was removed and Live Action was banned permanently from Pinterest for ‘misinformation’ because they posted the truth over abortions. They were exposing infanticide and the left just can’t have that don’t cha know. The whistleblower also revealed the platform’s “sensitive terms list” which reveals that Pinterest considers the term “Bible verses” to be “brand unsafe.”

The Pinterest insider gave an interview to James O’Keefe of Project Veritas and said, “Somebody happened to notice that LiveAction.org was blocked. I was pretty surprised,” the whistleblower said, after discovering the national pro-life organization was added to a “porn domain block list,” a compilation of pornographic websites that Pinterest has gathered to ensure porn is not posted on the platform. The insider also stated that websites on a “domain block list” cannot be linked in posts made by users. Gee… sounds like Facebook and Twitter.

Project Veritas reported:

“While investigating, Project Veritas tried to post the LiveAction.org link on Pinterest and failed to do so, receiving an error message that read, “Sorry! Your request could not be completed.”

“Project Veritas reviewed the list of websites from the “porn domain block list” and was able to confirm that along with LiveAction.org, websites like zerohedge.com, pjmedia.com, teaparty.org, and other various conservative websites were also listed. The majority of the document lists pornographic websites.” Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire is also on that list and he was censored under a “zero tolerance moment” for discussing Islam and Muslims.

From Breitbart:

“The watchdog reported that a document made available by the insider revealed that Pinterest employee Megan McClellan of the social media platform’s Trust and Safety team committed the code for Live Action to the “porn domain block list” in February.

“Project Veritas reported that according to another document, Ginet Girmay, another Pinterest employee on the Trust and Safety team, “discusses LiveAction.org’s inclusion on the ‘porn domain block list,’” on May 29.

“Girmay says ‘I do not think [LiveAction.org] should be removed…’ even though Pinterest ‘is not currently removing pro-life/pro-choice content,’” Project Veritas reported.

“We have more questions than answers about Pinterest’s censorship of Live Action and the pro-life message,” said Lila Rose, founder and president of the pro-life organization. “Based on the evidence provided, it appears that Pinterest intentionally added ‘LiveAction.org’ to a ‘pornography’ blocklist in an effort to suppress our pro-life content from being shared on the platform.”

“The whistleblower also made a “Sensitive Terms List” available to Project Veritas. The watchdog discovered that terms such as “Christian Easter” and “Bible verses” were labeled as “brand unsafe.”

“The insider explained to Project Veritas in an interview that such terms are removed from auto-complete search results,” the watchdog reported.

“In another example of how the abortion industry is protected by big tech companies such as Pinterest, Project Veritas cited a document titled “A/C Privileged: Conspiracy Doc,” which, according to the insider, names various so-called conspiracy theories that Pinterest monitors.

“According to the report:

“Project Veritas noticed the listing of “David Daleiden/Planned Parenthood.” The description of the item reads, “Undercover at planned parenthood to ‘expose’ their sale of fetal remains.” The insider believes the record refers to the undercover video investigation conducted by David Daleiden which allegedly shows Planned Parenthood executives discussing the sale of fetal tissue for profit. Those undercover videos prompted various investigations and legal actions across the country. The Pinterest insider explained that the company removes conspiratorial content that they deem to be “harmful” from the platform.

“In January, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals discredited the smear by Planned Parenthood and its allies in the abortion industry that the videos produced by Daleiden and Center for Medical Progress were “heavily edited” or “doctored.”

“Project Veritas noted that Pinterest initially reacted to its exposé by stating Live Action is no longer on its “Porn Domain Blacklist.”

“Subsequently, however, the watchdog group reported Pinterest permanently suspended Live Action’s Pinterest account.”

Lila Rose, who is president of Live Action, said, “Pinterest has targeted Live Action, I believe because our message is so effective at educating millions about the humanity of the pre-born child and the injustice of abortion. Pinterest trying to secretly and dishonestly censor free expression is every Pinterester’s worst nightmare. We urge them to allow free expression on their platform and stop censoring Live Action’s pro-life message.”

She added, “UPDATE: @Pinterest has now permanently suspended @LiveAction’s account (my account remains suspended), claiming our pro-life content is ‘medically inaccurate information’ & ‘conspiracies’ that lead to ‘violence.’ #LifeCensored.”

Per The Daily Wire:

“The whistleblower also discusses ways in which Pinterest allegedly quietly censors or “hides” content, including by “silent removing,” which is the removal of content without notifying the user. The intent of this practice is to hide problematic or “harmful” material, including pornographic content, but the report suggests that the function can be used to censor content for political or ideological reasons. Among the content deemed “harmful” and conspiratorial are reports by David Daleiden on Planned Parenthood’s disturbing practices.”

Pinterest is a social media platform with some 300 million active monthly users. All of this is blatant and unreal but it is happening now, not in 1984. It’s Orwellian in the extreme. Personally, I don’t use Pinterest but if I did, I’d delete my account immediately. The exposed level of bias against Christians and conservatives is disgusting and hateful.

Live Action was specifically targeted in this attack and it is easy to see why. A recent report from Media Matters explains why: “Posts from Live Action and the organization’s founder, Lila Rose, together accounted for a larger share of top Facebook posts related to abortion than all left-leaning pages combined.”

Live Action is now asking people to sign a petition urging Pinterest to “live up to the stated values of your company and the spirit of the First Amendment with consistency and end the suppression of opinions affirming life and human dignity.”

Pinterest and other social media platforms are doubling down on their attacks. Conservatives may not have started this war but it’s a good bet they’ll end it. Anti-trust laws are just the beginning. Many, many of us are banned or censored now and more are on the chopping block. Let’s dance.
