Two Covert Socialists Run for Congress in Georgia

Two covert socialists are running for the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia.

Both are active in the Democratic Party but have sought the endorsement and support of the several-hundred-strong Metro Atlanta Democratic Socialists of America (MADSA). However, neither is willing to publicly identify themselves to the voters as a “democratic socialist.”

7th District

Nabilah Islam is running for Georgia’s 7th Congressional District, located just to the north of Atlanta. The good people of North Central Georgia could soon be represented by a militant socialist in the mold of New York’s Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-N.Y.).

Several local news outlets and even the Washington Post have described Islam as “Atlanta’s AOC.” There’s one important difference, however. Possibly because Georgia is generally more conservative than AOC’s New York, Islam is not prepared to be quite as open about her socialism.

In February 2019, Republican Rep. Rob Woodall, who was first elected in 2010, announced he would not seek re-election in 2020. This has led to a crowded primary in which eight Republicans and seven Democrats, including 2018 candidate Carolyn Bourdeaux, have entered the race for the open seat.

Bourdeaux was supported in 2018 by gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’ New Georgia Project. She lost to Woodall by less than 400 votes, so ordinarily, she would be considered the frontrunner for this year’s Democratic nomination. However, Islam’s solid Democratic Party record and DSA backing combined with Muslim support could well see her win the May 19 primary. If that happens, the DSA and Muslim groups will likely pour in lots of out-of-state money and support to help her flip the very marginal “minority/majority” 7th District to the Democratic column.

A Georgia State University marketing graduate, Islam has an impressive record in Georgia Democratic Party politics. According to her 2016 Young Democrats of Atlanta bio:

“Nabilah ‘Billie’ Islam has deep political roots in Georgia where she has helped candidates up and down the ballot in multiple capacities. Billie is a Georgia native and currently serves as the Southern States Finance Associate for Hillary Clinton’s presidential Campaign, she has been on the campaign since May 2015 coordinating finance events for 7 states. During her time on the Finance Team for Jason Carter’s gubernatorial bid in 2014 Billie helped raise more than 10 million dollars in nine months.

“Billie’s first paid position on a campaign was in 2013 when she served as Campaign Coordinator for the successful city-wide campaign to elect Andre Dickens to the Atlanta City Council. It was in this position that she learned what it meant to be an underdog candidate and how much elbow grease it takes to win.

“Billie is a Democracy for America-trained operative, a graduate of VIP United Way and a graduate of the Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute. She has also served on the Board of the Red Clay Democrats. Committed to advancing Democratic causes in her home town, in 2013 she re-charted the Gwinnett County Young Democrats and served as President.”

Islam is running on a platform of socialized health care (Medicare for All), the Green New Deal, “economic justice,” and illegal immigrant amnesty. She has been endorsed by former President Jimmy Carter’s grandson Jason Carter, far-left California Congressman Ro Khanna, and the equally radical Occupy Democrats.

Despite this leftist support, Islam is not willing to publicly come clean as a “democratic socialist.”

In her Metro Atlanta DSA (MADSA) endorsement questionnaire, Islam was asked:

“If elected will you publicly identify yourself as a Democratic Socialist and MADSA member?”

Islam’s brief reply:

“MADSA member yes. Dem socialist no.”

So while Congresswoman Islam might be willing to admit her DSA membership, if pressed, it appears unlikely she’ll be as upfront about her “democratic socialism” as Ocasio Cortez or Michigan’s Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

13th District

MADSA is also endorsing Michael A. Owens for Georgia’s 13th Congressional District, which is located in the Atlanta Metropolitan area.

A former Cobb County Democratic Party chairman, Owens, a Marine Corps veteran, unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Democrat David Scott in 2014. Scott is generally regarded as a moderate Democrat. Whoever wins the Democratic Party primary in this heavily Democratic district will almost certainly be elected to Congress.

Owens is even less willing than Islam to publicly adopt the “democratic socialist” label.

When MADSA questioned him if he would publicly identify as a MADSA member and as a “Democratic Socialist,” Owens simply replied “no.” MADSA endorsed him anyway.

As the Republican Party struggles to take back the House in 2020 and the Democrats put major resources into flipping Southern states, Georgia’s 7th may become a very hotly contested and widely watched race.

Owens will have a harder job in the 13th to defeat moderate Democrat Scott — but with enough DSA support, it could be done.

If both Republicans and moderate Democrats are bold enough to expose Islam and Owens’ covert socialism, they might just save their seats.

Saying No to Black History Month

Here we are again, folks. February, another Black History Month. Progressives expect my fellow blacks and me to happily celebrate our month. I will not.

BHM is nothing more than a political weapon for Democrats/progressives to spread racial hate and further their lie that America is the greatest source of evil on the planet.

Most American blacks do not realize that many original civil rights black freedom fighters who stood beside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr sold their souls to the dark side after Dr. King died. They joined the white Democrat/progressive movement, metaphorically receiving 30 pieces of silver. The agenda of the dark side is anti-Christian and anti-American.

Black civil rights activists like Jesse Jackson abandoned Dr. King’s divinely inspired mission for blacks to be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. Instead, the post-MLK black civil rights movement became all about skin-color, exploiting it in every way. Suddenly, Jesse Jackson and other racism-pimps became rich by claiming every problem plaguing blacks in America is the result of racism. Terrified corporations paid off Jackson and other race-hustlers to shut up and back off.

Remember when Jesse Jackson tried to extort Major League baseball? Jackson claimed MLB was racist because not enough blacks attended games. Scratching my head, I do not understand how MLB is at fault. I don’t know if Jackson got paid or not.

Democrats gave Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and other black traitors seats of power at their table. Their job was to keep convincing blacks that they will always be victims of rabidly racist America. Therefore, blacks’ only hope is to keep voting for Democrats to push back against America’s mission to terminate them. Sadly, blacks are terminating themselves by insanely supporting Democrat/progressives’ support of Planned Parenthood.

Folks, Democrat/progressives’ lie about America is extremely evil and destructive, generating racial-hate and violence. America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to pursue their dreams!

Cities controlled by Democrats for the past 40 years are a mess; record-breaking black on black homicides, failing schools, high black incarceration, and high fatherless black households. And yet, anyone black or white who suggests solutions to empower blacks to fix their problems is immediately attacked by Democrats/progressives. These compassionate Americans are branded either Uncle Toms or racists.

Democrats/progressives want blacks totally dependent and thus enslaved to the government. Black empowerment and liberation is not their goal. Their goal is to transform America into the progressives’ utopia. This is why Democrats/progressives seek to destroy patriotic self-reliant black role models who achieved outstanding success via hard work, education and making right choices; Justice Clarence Thomas and GOP presidential candidates Dr. Ben Carson and Herman Cain, to name a few.

Every Black History Month progressives beat us over the head with their insidious evil lie that America is still a hellhole of racism. They ignore the huge elephant in the room that white America bypassed the normal vetting process to gift the first black president two terms.

Progressives love multimillionaire black celebs and billionaire Oprah who absurdly claim blacks are enduring the same discrimination they suffered in the 1950s. These useful-idiot hatemongers have many blacks believing Democrats’ crazy lie that the 63 million who elected Trump are white supremacists.

A college professor black buddy teaches at two Maryland colleges, one predominantly white and the other predominantly black. He worked his way through college and grad school, enjoying a successful career in advertising before becoming a professor.

In almost a whisper, he said, “I have noticed that my white students don’t mind working for what they want. My black students view themselves as entitled and believe everything should be given to them.”

Tragically, my buddy’s black students are infected with poisoned mindsets caused by time spent at an indoctrination camp disguised as an institution of higher learning. Black students are taught they are victims of racist white America. Therefore, they are entitled. “MAGA” cap wearers and Republicans dare not set foot on their campus.

My younger brother Jerry is an extremely fearless and outspoken Christian and black conservative Republican. He routinely verbally spars with members of his all-black Baltimore Trump-hating church. He always leaves his opponents speechless because their arguments are rooted in emotion and Democrat/fake news media lies. Jerry’s arguments are rooted in love, truth, and facts.

Having a little fun, Jerry sent me this text:

“Good morning. I changed my mind. I’m voting for the democrats. My debts paid, free checks, don’t have to work, I can legally smoke weed, and no responsibility. Plus, knowing the dems, there’s probably more benefits to come. It doesn’t get any better than that.”

Thank God that Jerry understands that the Democratic Party has become a hateful mob of scam artists. No, I will not be celebrating Democrats/progressives’ Black History/America Sucks Month.

Green Light Law v. Trump Administration

The New York Department of Motor Vehicles has a rather new law called the Green Light Law where illegals can obtain state-issued identification licenses and or driver’s licenses. New York is one of 13 states with such a law with slight iteration differences. It is unclear what undocumented applicants must provide to the clerk as evidence and what safeguards are in place to prevent fraud and higher risks to public safety. Law enforcement across the country uses DMV databases hundreds of thousands of times a day for normal traffic stops, identification verification, outstanding warrants and in many cases criminal records across state lines.

New York is the top city as a foreign entry point and there are no real stipulations as to entry or exit factors in the law. Further, the State of New York has terminated DMV database access to Customs and Border Patrol. Remember the 9/11 commission put forth countless recommendations that all lawmakers and all state governors signed onto which mandated information sharing. Governor Cuomo appears to forget that.

Due to lack of DMV access for all matters regarding travel and public safety, DHS has removed New York from the ‘Trusted Traveler Program’ and this is causing even more outrage in the Governor’s office.

DHS: In response to New York State implementing the Driver’s License Access and Privacy Act (Green Light Law), Acting Secretary Chad F. Wolf announced New York residents will no longer be eligible to apply for or renew their enrollment in certain Trusted Traveler Programs like Global Entry. The law prohibits the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) from sharing information with U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), preventing DHS from fully vetting New York residents. The Acting Secretary informed State officials by letter of the change. The letter may be read here.

“New York’s ‘Green Light Law’ is ill-conceived and the Department is forced to take this action to ensure the integrity of our Trusted Traveler Programs. It’s very clear: this irresponsible action has consequences,” said Acting Secretary Chad Wolf. “An aspect of the law which I’m most concerned about is that it prohibits the DMV from providing ICE and CBP with important data used in law enforcement, trade, travel, and homeland security. ICE uses the information as they investigate and build cases against terrorists, and criminals who commit child sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and financial crimes. Unfortunately, because of this law, they can no longer do that”

Wolf continued: “CBP also uses that data for national security purposes and to ensure safe and lawful trade and travel. Specifically, CBP is able to offer Trusted Traveler Programs like Global Entry because we are able to use DMV data to make an evidence-based assessment that those individuals who seek this benefit are low risk and meet the eligibility requirements. Without the DMV information we aren’t able to make that assessment. DHS notified New York DMV that New York residents can no longer enroll or re-enroll in these trusted traveler programs because we no longer have access to data to ensure that New York Residents meet those programs requirements. We must do our job.”

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) runs Trusted Traveler Programs like Global Entry, FAST, SENTRI and NEXUS which rely on access to DMV data to determine whether the person is who they say they are and if they have a criminal record. When that data is denied, the security is compromised. CBP expects the move to affect up to 150,000-200,000 New York residents who seek to renew membership in a CBP Trusted Traveler Programs this fiscal year. There are almost 30,000 commercial truck drivers enrolled in the FAST program at four New York-Canada ports of entry.

Additionally, because the law hinders DHS from validating documents used to establish vehicle ownership, the exporting of used vehicles titled and registered in New York State will be significantly delayed and could also be costlier.

The Major Takeaway from the State of the Union

Every morning, my awesome wife Mary brings me coffee in bed. While reflecting on President Trump’s amazing State of the Union speech, I received a text from my brother Jerry. He is an extremely outspoken Christian and black conservative Republican. The pastor and congregation at his Baltimore all-black church despise Trump. Jerry is a lone voice of truth in a wilderness of Democrat deception and fake news media lies. He feels that God has assigned him to stay in his church to be salt. Salt makes a difference.

Jerry’s text succinctly nailed Democrats’ behavior at the State of the Union. “Last night President Trump knocked it out of the park. I give him an A+. Just as I thought it would be, the Dems were shameful and embarrassing. They really don’t care about the average American people. To them, we’re just disrespected pawns to be used for their political benefit. Prayer, school choice, black jobs, black colleges, woman job growth, the list goes on and they showed no approval. So shameful.”

I responded, “Amen brother!”

Nancy Pelosi leaped to her feet applauding Trump’s initiative to plant more trees and sat stone-faced in response to his initiative to end late-term abortions. That moment exposed the perverse priorities and wicked hardheartedness of the Democratic Party.

Curious, I used my remote to flip among CNN, MSNBC, and other fake news media for their analysis of Trump’s speech. As expected, they said Trump repeatedly lied. They characterized all the emotional moments as nothing more than show business. A CNN black talking head absurdly said Trump does not want black voters. He simply used blacks as props during his speech. The hate oozing out of these progressives is chillingly evil.

Chris Cuomo on CNN is the worst. His eyes were intense, emitting his hatred and barely containable rage against Trump and everyday Americans who love him.

Remarkably, for every achievement Trump announced as beneficial to America and Americans, Democrats responded with seething anger. When Pelosi tore up Trump’s speech at the end, she expressed the Democratic Party’s hatred for Trump, his voters, and America as founded.

At the supermarket, I spotted an elderly gentleman wearing a Marine Corps cap and thanked him for his service. He responded, “Thank you, sir, for acknowledging it.”

I chatted with a senior wearing a “Trump 2020” cap in the checkout line. He thought Democrats behaved disgracefully at the State of the Union. He said he was a lifelong Democrat before voting for Trump and becoming a Republican. I asked what caused him to change parties.

He replied, “You’re a black man. I had no problem giving Obama four years, but giving him four more years was crazy.” I informed the gentleman that I did not vote for Obama. When Obama told Joe the Plumber that he intended to “spread the wealth around”, I knew he was a socialist — the wrong man for my country.

The female check-out clerk chimed in: “I’m not supposed to say it, but I’m with you guys.” Referring to Democrats, she added, “If we are not dependent, they can’t pull our strings.”

Our mini–Trump rally ended with high fives, declaring victory in November.

My major takeaway from the State of the Union is that Trump must be re-elected. If not, every single one of his unprecedented victories for We the People will be reversed. Clearly, Democrats believe that whatever good Trump does for America undermines their mission to control every aspect of our lives and remove America from her rightful place as leader of the free world.

Brother and sister patriots, please do not assume that Trump’s re-election is a done deal. We must remain diligent and fully engaged. I am informing low-info deceived voters with my new “Trump Train 2020” song.

Each of us must do his part to keep this man who truly loves America in the White House.

AI In War Means Deepfakes As Well As Killerbots

In its Gerasimov and Primikov doctrines of warfare, Russia makes this clear.

Since 2014, Russia has played a dominant role in the civil war hostilities in Syria where the testing of technology fresh out of research and development has been applied to measure results, graded by software systems. Such military upgrades launched in Syria and in Yemen include the SS-21 Scarab, the Uran-9 and the Ratnick-4 (robotics). A four-day drill was held in December 2019 in the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean. Participants were Russia, Iran, and China whose cooperation, unity, and military exchanges were evident during the drills.

Russia’s involvement should be considered in light of a strategy. In 2013, Russian Army General Valery Gerasimov (right) published a strategic doctrine (the Gerasimov Doctrine) where he described applying non-military as well as military warfare, mobilizing and utilizing all national power to achieve a mission. Non-military power includes economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, propaganda, threatening navigation, false or fake stories, and publications, cyber threats, arrests, espionage, theft, demonization, corruption, ridicule, trolls, counterfeiting, broadcasts, chaos, violations of agreements/treaties, torture/death, proxies, gas-lighting, and technology generally.

Another concept of interest is the Primikov Doctrine, after Russian diplomat and Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov (1929–2015) which holds that, rather than competing with other global superpowers, it is more efficient and less costly to constrain them. These two doctrines have merged.

Enter artificial intelligence (AI), where the Russian toolkit is expanding such that it includes physical and abstract systems for military and political purposes, in this case, hybrid operations. The expansion comes as a result of a 2018 order from Vladimir Putin to organize national power, including engineers, education, science, and commercial developers, to develop a plan for AI and Big Data. Putin seeks automation, training, laboratories, monitors, gaming, forums, conferences, and compliance to advance technologies in such a way that a 4:1 ratio of non-military to military activity is applied in locations most beneficial to global Russian expansion.

Potential battlespace locations chosen by Russia on land, at sea or in space have unique characteristics that favor AI for formulating, modeling and grading risks, costs, predictions, situational awareness, and strategy decisions.

The Kremlin mission’s goals are never clearly defined, due to “maskirovka” or deception, a common tool of Russia. But the annexation of Crimea was a clear achievement. Putin applied grey power or soft power in that quest and increased the hostilities in Russia’s continued war with Ukraine. The use of audio and video deep-fakes is expanding in Ukraine, the Baltic States, Western nations, and Africa.

Digital disinformation on social media, bots, and trolls by Russia is reshaping how other nations defend and analyze rogue nation tactics. Artificial intelligence and computer automation provide Moscow with predictive analytics for the effectiveness of influence and destabilization of nations over which Russia seeks power.

While Russia terminated the FEDOR (Skybot) for the International Space Station due to rendezvous failures, the humanoid has AI brains. These AI brains are also used in advanced Russian robots used to disarm bombs and mines and explore uncharted areas. The center of Russian technology for offense and defense systems is based in the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research Projects and Innovation, financed and managed by Dmitry Rogozin of the State Duma.

A particular area of interest for Russian use of robots is the Arctic. Ratnik versions 3 and 4 are well designed for long term capabilities in extreme weather conditions, as the Kremlin seeks to lay claim to the large oil and gas fields. Oil-seeking robots probe under the ice in Project Iceberg. Russia has a sad history of submarine safety at sea due to human error and nuclear or mechanical failures and AI is well applied to reduce those risks.

The Russian power company, Nikiet has been tasked with the viability and testing of robots and unmanned systems to advance underwater operations in the Arctic. Project Iceberg has reactivated an estimated 50 Russian Arctic military bases where automated vehicles are used for testing, exploration, and drilling, perhaps even charging stations.

Surveillance, reconnaissance, command and control, satellite, sonar and computer systems with remote capabilities, hypersonic weapons, and smart bombs are part of the computer decision-grade hybrid warfare doctrine of hard and soft power used by Russia, China, and likely other rogue nations, perhaps during joint military drills that feature collaboration and exchange or unity.

It Is All Fake News

Even before Trump won the presidency in 2016, Democrats launched their plan to impeach him. They threw every dirty trick at Trump in their “Take Out the Republican” playbook. They all failed. Frustrated, Democrats said, “Screw it — we’ll just make up crimes supposedly committed by Trump.”

In their bogus “impeachment hearings,” Democrats demanded and received a ton of documents. They called 17 witnesses while outrageously refusing to allow Republicans to call any witnesses. The fix was in, and two absurd articles of impeachment against Trump were approved in the Democrat-controlled House. This ended Democrats’ presentation of their case to remove the president. The next step was for their articles to go to the Senate for a vote.

Realizing that their case was extremely weak, Democrats demanded that the Senate rules be changed. They demanded that Senate Republicans allow them to call more witnesses and demand more documents in the Senate’s portion of the case. That is not how this works. Democrats had their incredibly unfair opportunity to present their case in the House portion.

Thank God enough Republicans had the courage to vote no to Democrats using the Senate to further their evil, disgusting scheme to reverse the 2016 presidential election.

Because Trump has done nothing wrong, the Senate will vote for acquittal. Another Democrat and fake news media scam to remove Trump from office has failed.

Democrats and fake news media are flooding the airwaves with their lie that Trump’s acquittal will be illegitimate because Senate Republicans unfairly refused to call witnesses and present documents. They say, “How can you have a trial without witnesses?” They want average-Joe-American to wrongly conclude that no witnesses were called during the impeachment trial.

For laughs, I turned on CNN. They pretended the mountain of documents presented and the 17 witnesses Democrats called in the House hearings did not happen. I thought, “Oh, my gosh — it is all fake news.” This is really scary, folks. These wicked people are fully committed to deceiving and discouraging us 24/7 with lies.

At the beginning of the Tea Party movement, I toured the country on numerous Tea Party Express national bus tours. I opened hundreds of rallies performing my original song, “The American Tea Party Anthem.” CNN, NPR, and other fake news outlets invited me to be a guest on broadcasts.

I was excited, naïvely thinking that as a black member of the movement, I could clear up the nonsensical claim by the media that the Tea Party was racist. Forty percent of the Tea Party voted for Obama. They simply opposed his immediate left turn, driving us down the road to socialism.

Silly me. Fake news media hosts shouted me down and argued with me. They implied that I was an Uncle Tom buffoon. Someone informed me that a late-night TV host, I can’t remember which one, had a ball painting me as an idiot.

For a documentary on the Tea Party movement, a CNN film crew was embedded with our team on one of the Tea Party Express bus tours for around 35 rallies. As I stated, I opened every rally, firing up the crowds with my “American Tea Party Anthem.” Our team included black authors and black conservative speakers. Yet CNN’s documentary excluded our black faces. They intentionally sold the public a lie that the Tea Party was a bunch of redneck whites who hate a black man in the White House. It was all fake news.

I began to realize that fake news media had zero interest whatsoever in the truth. They care only about fulfilling their evil mission to spread racial hate via bogus narratives.

The Quran says non-Muslims are infidels. Muslims believe they have divine authority to kill infidels who refuse to convert. CNN host Don Lemon justified progressives attacking people for wearing “MAGA” hats. In other words, Progressivism is a religion. Trump supporters and patriotic Americans are progressivism’s version of infidels. All who refuse to convert to progressivism are worthy of severe punishment. We see their mindset played out across America: seniors, women, and youths being assaulted and beaten for wearing “MAGA” hats. Remember the Facebook Live post of four black progressives who kidnapped and tortured a mentally disabled white man? The four zealots tie up the man, punishing him while yelling, “F— Trump” and F— white people!”

It is truly remarkable that Trump has survived every Democrat and fake news media evil tactic to destroy him and his presidency. I call it “The Trump Phenomenon.” No other Republican would have survived. Clearly, God’s hand of protection is on this man, whom He has prepared for such a time as this.

Trump repeatedly emerging victorious has frustrated Democrats and fake news media to the point of total insanity. In their sick, hate-filled minds, nothing in the world matters other than destroying Trump and punishing his supporters.

Thankfully, more and more Americans are beginning to realize the evil within seeking to destroy our exceptional great nation. At Trump’s rally in New Jersey, over 25% were Democrats and over 10% did not vote in 2016. His approval among black Americans has skyrocketed to 34%.

Our only hope is to continue fighting back in one united voice, boldly refusing to be silenced and intimidated. Democrats and their fake news media minions cannot bully millions of patriotic Americans. We must spread the truth about Trump’s amazing achievements for America while riding all over this country aboard the Trump Train. Download the Trump Train 2020 song and crank it up!

We must remain diligent in spreading the truth because mainstream media is all fake news.

AG Barr Hints at His Dangerous Position Overseeing Deep ...

Attorney General Barr recalled, a fellow student once told him Russia wanted to conquer the world and the United States could deal with that. But China, the student said at the time, wanted to own the world and that was a bit more difficult.

“There was a certain truth in that,” Barr told the audience Thursday.

Barr made his remarks at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, reminding his audience that the Communist Party remains in control of the Chinese economy and is “authoritarian through and through.”“Their goal is the eventual demise of capitalism,” the attorney general said.

The United States has long accused China of intellectual property theft on a grand scale. “It has been estimated that the annual cost to the U.S. economy could be $600 billion,” Barr said.

U.S. officials are also worried that China is threatening to become the dominant world force in the race to transition to 5G.

Aside from serving as the attorney general once before, Barr also spent several years in the telecom industry and used that experience to sound another dire warning.

The attorney general called the impending jump to 5G “a quantum leap” which will have major economic implications. The Chinese telecom giant Huawei “is the leading supplier of 5G on every continent except North America,” Barr said, adding that the U.S. market needed to “pick a horse” to back in the race for domestic 5G influence.

“The Chinese are using every lever of power to expand their 5G market share around the globe,” he said.

U.S. officials say Chinese leaders are working toward being the geopolitical, economic and military world leader by the year 2049, the 100th anniversary of the Peoples Republic of China.

“China wants the fruits of America’s brainpower to harvest the seeds of its planned economic dominance,” said John Demers, the assistant attorney general for the National Security Division.

Christopher Wray vows independence: No 'pulling punches ...

FBI Director Wray described the threat from China as “diverse” and “multi-layered.” He noted that the Chinese government exploits the openness of the American economy and society.

“They’ve pioneered an expansive approach to stealing innovation through a wide range of actors,” Wray said during opening remarks at the half-day Department of Justice China Initiative Conference in Washington, D.C.

Wray told the audience that China is targeting everything from agricultural techniques to medical devices in its efforts to get ahead economically. While this is sometimes done legally, such as through company acquisitions, China often takes illegal approaches, including cyber intrusions and corporate espionage.

“They’ve shown that they’re willing to steal their way up the economic ladder at our expense,” he said.

The FBI is using traditional law enforcement techniques as well as its intelligence capabilities to combat these threats. He said the FBI currently has about 1,000 investigations into Chinese technology theft.

Just last month, a Harvard University professor was charged with lying about his contractual arrangement with China.

Wray also called for a whole-of-society response to these threats. He urged U.S. companies to carefully consider their supply lines and whether and how they do business with Chinese companies. While a partnership with a Chinese company may seem profitable today, a U.S. company may find themselves losing their intellectual property in the long run.

Additionally, U.S. universities should work to protect their foreign students from coercion from foreign governments, Wray said. When China violates our criminal laws and well-established international norms, we are not going to tolerate it, much less enable it,” he said. “The Department of Justice and the FBI are going to hold people accountable for that and protect our nation’s innovation and ideas.”

This Tears It!

The spectacle put on by the Democrats, lead by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, should be etched in the minds of the American people. The die-hard Democrat voters must recognize by now that the party of their parents and grandparents no longer exists, it having been taken over by a band of anti-Americans.

It would be difficult to ignore the State of the Union Address given by President Trump, a patriotic summary of what is good and hoped for, pride in our achievements and honoring a few well-deserving individuals along the way. In contrast, it boggles the mind that so many elected Congressmen and Senators were unable to acknowledge many of these accomplishments as they were shared; choosing instead to remain seated with somber looks of indignation.

At the close of this nationally televised moment in time, Nancy Pelosi waited for the last word to be uttered and then, on cue, lifted her hand-delivered copy of President Trump’s address and tore it in half, ceremoniously putting an exclamation mark on her disdain.

It reminded me of a film character played by Cary Grant, Dr. Noah Praetorius, in the movie, People Will Talk. Noah was a genuinely happy individual who enjoyed helping others. A jealous and hateful man, Professor Elwell, perfectly acted by Hume Cronyn, made it his goal to destroy Dr. Praetorius. Elwell filed an official inquiry, all based on unsubstantiated rumors, which raised the likelihood of Dr. Praetorius being removed from his position at the university.

During the somber closed-door hearing, Doctor Praetorius calmly noted the enthusiasm which his accuser demonstrated in his quest to destroy him. (I shouldn’t have to point out a recent political coup attempt bearing strikingly similar elements.)

“Professor Elwell, you are the only man I know who can say ‘malignant’ the way other people say ‘Bingo!’.”

While on the topic of ‘malignant’…civilized Americans should be disgusted with how so many on the left are applauding the news that conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh recently was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. It’s one thing to disagree with the politics of your neighbor; yet another to jump for joy upon hearing this kind of sad news.

A sequel to Professor Elwell’s flaunting of ill will was recorded when Speaker of the House Pelosi handed out Victory Pens to her treasonous co-conspirators after signing the Articles of Impeachment prior to having their poisonous piece of parchment delivered to the Senate.

Near the end of the movie, after all the facts were brought to light and the good doctor’s reputation exonerated, there’s a scene worthy of today’s closing performance by Queen Nancy.

Immediately after the hearing/mock trial concluded, Mr. Shunderson, the slow-witted friend of the good doctor, approached the hateful professor. Elwell still couldn’t accept that all his efforts to discredit a truly good individual had been in vain.

“Professor Elwell, you’re a little man. It’s not that you’re short. You’re…little, in the mind and in the heart. Tonight, you tried to make a man little whose boots you couldn’t touch if you stood on tiptoe on top of the highest mountain in the world. And as it turned out…you’re even littler than you were before.”

Nancy Pelosi and Socialist Democrats desiring to ‘transform this nation’ have nothing to offer American voters as they demean and denigrate traditional values, attacking Christianity, individual natural rights and the family. Their disgusting performance as elected representatives should be a wake-up call to voters as we determine the direction of our nation.

Sorry, Nancy, “you’re even littler than you were before”, and as you pointedly have awakened a sleeping electorate; This tears it!

China Cutting $75B on Tariffs, Desperation

China has reached out to the United States to launch an interim trade agreement prior to Phase II beginning February 14.

The virus epidemic in China has taken a substantial toll on the internal economy due to fear. Transportation, vacation travel, corporate production, and factory production have taken a toll. China is even suggesting the elimination of all tariffs between the two countries.

The economic stability of China is in question and will have effects on bilateral trade agreements China has not only with the United States but other nations as well. Since China is a large supporter of North Korea with financial aid, there is some expectation that North Korea could see larger in-country humanitarian spirals downward.

The United States has offered several lanes of assistance to China where most appear to be rejected. As a consequence, our own domestic farmers may be forced to be more patient exporting goods such as pork, cotton, wheat, and soybeans due to the fact that Chinese consumption has fallen substantially in recent weeks due to the coronavirus.

It is impossible to determine the actual numbers of deaths due to the virus or those infected and being treated. China is a communist country holding full control of all media placing censorship on stories being published or communications from the mainland to other parts of the world.

So far, there are no indications that the virus is under control or is being managed in such a manner that fears of infection and spread of the illness would ease.

Forever war: US and China struggle to defuse trade conflict

Reuters is reporting in recent hours: – China has achieved “positive” results in its prevention and control efforts in fighting the new coronavirus, President Xi Jinping told Saudi Arabia’s King Salman by telephone, China’s official Xinhua news agency reported.

The two discussed “efforts to combat and control the novel coronavirus epidemic”, the report said.

China has declared a “people’s war” on the virus and the whole nation is working as one to combat it, Xi said.

“China has a strong mobilization capacity, rich experience in responding to public health incidents and is confident and capable of winning the battle for epidemic prevention and control,” the report paraphrased him as saying.

China hopes countries respect and understand the World Health Organization’s guidance on travel, Xi said.

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Monday there was no need for measures that “unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade” in trying to halt the spread of the coronavirus.

China will continue to take an open and transparent approach towards dealing with the virus, Xi added.
