Executive Order Suspending Work Visas Extended

The original executive order signed in April:

would temporarily suspend the issuance of new green cards, a limit on immigration he says will protect American jobs amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“In order to protect our great American workers, I have just signed an executive order temporarily suspending immigration into the United States,” Trump said at a White House briefing Wednesday.

“This will ensure that unemployed Americans of all backgrounds will be first in line for jobs as our economy reopens,” Trump continued. “It will also preserve our health care resources for American patients.”

President Donald Trump signed an executive order temporarily halting work visas like the H-1B visa program for highly-skilled workers, cutting off a critical source of foreign labor for tech companies already complaining about tech talent shortages.

Visa-holders already in the U.S. and those applicants who have already received a visa are exempt from the ban. The restrictions are intended to last until the end of the year, which would disrupt the government’s typical process of awarding new visas at the beginning of the national fiscal calendar in October.

Officials from the Trump administration told the Wall Street Journal that the move is intended to protect American jobs, but executives in the technology industry have long warned that visa restrictions would hurt the nation’s ability to compete in industries that have both strategic and financial significance as engines of economic growth. The renewal of the April Executive Order applies to H-1B, L-1, and J visas. The goal is to protect an estimated 525,000 jobs where American citizens get first priority.

“President Trump has repeatedly promised that he would put American workers first, and to his credit, he did just that,” said Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, which advocates for lower levels of immigration. FAIR had called on Trump to suspend guest worker visas.

“For the most part, the president withstood intense pressure from powerful business interests that continue to demand more cheap foreign labor, even as they have laid off an unprecedented number of American workers over the past three months ” Stein said.

President Trump is building on this measure with an additional pause on several job-related nonimmigrant visas—H-1Bs, H-2Bs without a nexus to the food-supply chain, certain H-4s, as well as Ls and certain Js—preserving jobs for American citizens.
President Trump’s efforts will ensure businesses look to American workers first when hiring.
- Many workers have been hurt through no fault of their own due to coronavirus and they should not remain on the sidelines while being replaced by new foreign labor.
The Trump Administration has also finalized regulations to eliminate the incentive to file an asylum application for the primary purpose of obtaining an Employment Authorization Document.
With some exceptions, we should not permit large numbers of foreign workers to enter the United States at a time when so many Americans are out of work.

Polls show that the overwhelming majority of Americans support pausing immigration as we recover as a Nation from the coronavirus pandemic.
- A Washington Post-University of Maryland poll found that 65% of those polled support pausing immigration into the country, including 61% of minority respondents.
- A Pew Research Center poll found that 81% of Americans see mass immigration as a threat as we confront the challenges posed by the coronavirus.
Democrats and liberal commentators used to support such commonsense efforts to protect American jobs.
- Sen. Bernie Sanders: “You think we should open the borders and bring in a lot of low-wage workers, or do you think maybe we should try to get jobs for those [American] kids?”
- Paul Krugman stated that “Immigration reduces the wages of domestic workers who compete with immigrants. That’s just supply and demand.”

Executive Order to Protect Historic Monuments

When mob rule succeeds at grabbing power over law and authority, anarchy is real. Such is the case in several cities across the country where mayors have failed at the duty of public safety and protection. Sadly, the president has to issue an executive order to preserve historical monuments. Sure, perhaps there is a time for some to be moved and replaced but not by anarchists. It should be considered by a vote, that is the American way.

There is already a law that protects federal property, meaning that of antiquity and assigned to the National Parks Service. So, one must challenge the mayor(s) and district attorneys at this point. If even Al Sharpton says justice must be equal… heh… so be it… make it equal and applied as such.

“We are looking at long-term jail sentences for these vandals and these hoodlums and the anarchists and agitators, and call them whatever you want,” Trump said. “Some people don’t like that language, but that’s what they are. They’re bad people. They don’t love our country. And they’re not taking down our monuments. I just want to make that clear.”

The executive order as Trump described it appeared to be largely symbolic. Existing law already makes it criminal to destroy “any structure, plaque, statue, or other monument on public property commemorating the service of any person or persons in the armed forces of the United States.”

18 U.S. Code § 1369. Destruction of veterans’ memorials

(a) Whoever, in a circumstance described in subsection (b), willfully injures or destroys, or attempts to injure or destroy, any structure, plaque, statue, or other monument on public property commemorating the service of any person or persons in the armed forces of the United States shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.

(b) A circumstance described in this subsection is that—

(1) in committing the offense described in subsection (a), the defendant travels or causes another to travel in interstate or foreign commerce, or uses the mail or an instrumentality of interstate or foreign commerce; or
(2) the structure, plaque, statue, or other monument described in subsection (a) is located on property owned by, or under the jurisdiction of, the Federal Government.

Several states have laws that make it extremely difficult to remove Confederate monuments. Here are five of the strictest.

North Carolina

In 2015, then-Gov. Pat McCrory, a Republican, signed a bill that gave the North Carolina General Assembly full power over public “objects of remembrance.”

Earlier this week, a group of protesters toppled a Confederate statue in Durham, and on Thursday, dozens of people lined up to turn themselves in for the “crime.”

The current governor, Democrat Roy Cooper, has said that the monuments “should come down” and that he wants the state law repealed.

Alabama

Alabama’s law is new. In May, Republican Gov. Kay Ivey signed the Alabama Memorial Preservation Act of 2017, which forbids “the relocation, removal, alteration, renaming, or disturbance of any architecturally significant building, memorial building, memorial street, or monument on public property which has been in place for 40 or more years.” Many of the nation’s Confederate monuments were erected in the early 20th century.

The Committee on Alabama Monument Protection created by the act approves any modification to monuments.

Mississippi

A Mississippi law says that statues, monuments, memorials or landmarks from previous wars cannot be removed unless they are being moved to another location or they obstruct drivers’ vision.

Rep. John Moore (R-Miss.) told WTOK-TV in Meridian that he supports the law because the memorials can used to learn about history.

“That’s one of the things about history,” Moore said. “If we cease to learn from it and don’t have reminders, we are doomed to repeat it.”

Georgia

A law in the Peach State protects publicly owned military monuments from being relocated, removed, concealed, obscured or altered unless doing so would protect the monument or aid in its interpretation. A petition currently calls on state lawmakers to change the law.

Virginia

In Virginia, ground zero of this latest iteration of the Confederate statue debate, it is illegal to disturb or interfere with any war monuments or memorials. There is an ongoing lawsuit over the Charlottesville City Council’s vote to remove the statue of Robert E. Lee that white supremacists and neo-Nazis gathered to defend. Opponents claim the removal of the statue is illegal under state law.

Juneteenth – The Day Republicans Freed The Democrats’ Slaves

Our history and our heritage are being shoved by rioters, looters, and anarchists down the memory hole. This is year zero on their calendar. Everything that came before and every struggle for freedom and human dignity by patriots of all colors is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is now. The only thing that matters is what they tell you. How we got here and what makes us who and what we are may not be pretty or politically correct but it is important. We can’t know where we’re going if we don’t remember where we’ve been.

The canceling of American history by anarchists, encouraged by cowering Democratic governors and mayors is necessary if they intend on propagating the lie that America is and always has been irredeemably racist. The Republicans are labeled white supremacists and it’s being pushed that only liberal progressive Democrats can create social justice, which means the absence of resistance to groups like Black Lives Matter, which among other goodies on its website endorses the elimination of the nuclear family. Nothing can be allowed to interfere with the progressive police state they are hoping to establish on Nov. 3, 2020.

As our cities and our businesses burn, many minority-owned, the Democrats and anarchists (apologies for being redundant) claim to mourn the murder of George Floyd in a Democratic city with a police chief selected by a Democratic mayor and a Democratic city council. They want to make a national holiday out of what is called Juneteenth, the date that black slaves in Texas learned that they were free. The actual freedom of black Americans came two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

What advocates don’t like to point out is that these slaves were held by Democrats and were liberated by the first Republican to occupy the White House, Abraham Lincoln, leader of the Abolitionist Party that was formed and elected to abolish slavery. Democrats in the South fought the Civil War to retain their slaves and the Confederacy was in fact the first resistance movement against the first Republican president.

Before the true racial history of America is deleted and only an agreed-upon lie remains, let us recall a Feb. 2017 dust-up between Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., (aka Fauxcohontas), who was the point guard in a failed character assassination attempt of a former colleague and then-Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions. She was rightly reprimanded by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and rightly condemned by Sen. Ted Cruz as misrepresenting both the past of Jeff Sessions and the historical truth about racial politics in this country.

Psychiatrists call the phenomena Warren exhibited as transference, the ascribing to others the faults you yourself possess. Warren attempted to call former Sen. Jeff Sessions a racist and, by implication, his party and President Trump as well, on the Senate floor, which is a severe breach of protocol. As Sen. Cruz pointed out in his reaction, Sen. Warren and her party had better look in the mirror of history:

The day after Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was rebuked while making a speech critical of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Sen. Ted Cruz blasted Democrats, saying their party is the one rooted in racism.

“The Democrats are the party of the Ku Klux Klan,” Cruz (R-Tex.) said in an interview on Fox News on Wednesday. “You look at the most racist — you look at the Dixiecrats, they were Democrats who imposed segregation, imposed Jim Crow laws, who founded the Klan. The Klan was founded by a great many Democrats.”

Cruz was right. The reason Democrats know so much about Jim Crow laws is that they wrote them. The Republican Party was founded to end slavery and free the slaves largely held by Democrats. As one wag suggested, perhaps the Democrats are so angry at Republicans because they’ve never forgiven the GOP for taking away their slaves.

Was Warren talking about the racist that voted to confirm Eric Holder as Obama’s Attorney General? Unlike a leader of Sen. Warren’s party, Sen. Robert Byrd, Sessions fought the KKK. Byrd’s very real sins were forgiven. Warren will not forgive Sessions’ imaginary sins.

The historical amnesia of Democrats omits the fact that it was Senator Robert Byrd, Democrat of West Virginia and former “Grand Kleagle” with the Ku Klux Klan, who holds the distinction of being the only Senator to have opposed the only two black nominees to the Supreme Court, Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas, and led a 52-day filibuster against this legislation.

Sen. Al Gore, the father of the former vice president, voted against the act, as did Sen. J. William Fulbright, to whom Bill Clinton dedicated a memorial, current senior Senator from South Carolina Ernest Hollings, Sen. Richard Russell and, of course, Sen. Strom Thurmond, who was a Democrat at that time.

Warren forgets that it was Democrats who unleashed the dogs and turned on the fire hoses on civil rights marchers. It was Democrats who stood in the schoolhouse door and are still standing there by opposing school choice and trapping minority children in failing schools. It was Democrats who blocked the bridge in Selma.

Warren’s amnesia omits the fact that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 would never have been possible without Republican leadership. Not only was that legislation a personal victory for Illinois Republican Sen. Everett Dirksen (then-Senate Minority leader), Republicans in both the House and Senate supported the measure in far greater percentages than Democrats. Only six GOP Senators voted against the act, compared with 21 Democrats. The party of Abraham Lincoln and Jeff Sessions beat back the fire hoses and dogs of the party of Robert Byrd and Elizabeth Warren.

Again, the Democrats should know a lot about Jim Crow laws, since they are the ones who wrote them. Condoleezza Rice, President George W. Bush’s national security advisor, explained at the 2000 GOP national convention why a black college professor would be a Republican:

“The first Republican I knew was my father John Rice. And he is still the Republican I admire the most. My father joined our party because the Democrats in Jim Crow Alabama of 1952 would not register him to vote. The Republicans did. I want you to know that my father has never forgotten that day, and neither have I.”

The historical fact that white nationalism had its roots in the Democratic post-Civil War south and that the KKK was founded by Democrats to suppress blacks liberated by the Republican administration of President Abraham Lincoln seems to have been forgotten.

The alt-left movement, which shares the blame along with arguably racist groups such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa, hates America so much that they want to erase all vestiges of American history and throw them down an Orwellian memory hole to be supplanted by alt-left politically correct ideology.

Notice that no one has demanded that statues of former Senator and KKK icon Robert Byrd be removed, statues honoring the hard-core former white nationalist Hillary Clinton once called her friend and mentor, including one prominently displayed in the West Virginia state capitol:

With the tearing down of confederate statues, removal of confederate flags, and the destruction of anything from America’s past that is controversial or downright deplorable, one statue has managed to escape scrutiny from protesters.

It involves a U.S. Senator from West Virginia. A prominent, highly successful member of the Democrat party. And a mentor to the woman who almost became President of the United States.

He also happens to be a former card-carrying member of the KKK. In fact, he created his own chapter along with 150 of his friends and colleagues.

Where is the outrage and destruction of this statue?

That is former Senator Robert Byrd who was once elected a top officer – the Exalted Cyclops, whatever the hell that is – in the local Klan unit in the early 1940s.

He is a man who once vowed never to fight in the military along with “race mongrels” or “with a negro by my side.”

After his passing, Hillary Clinton eulogized Byrd in a 2010 video in which she called him “my friend and mentor.”

Maybe if we had school choice young blacks would learn the true story of Juneteenth and who the oppressors and liberators of blacks really were and are.

The Democrats support food stamps but not job growth through inner-city opportunity zones. Biden supported the 1994 Crime Bill which lead to the mass incarceration of young black men. Trump gave us prison reform. Before the pandemic and the riots, black unemployment was at historic lows and black wages were rising.

The Democrats talk a lot about slavery but all they want to do is move blacks to a different plantation.

BLM at War with America

Outrageously, cowardly and traitorous politicians are allowing Black Lives Matter, a racist hate group to engage in an “Everything Must Go” fire-sale against America. BLM is literally pulling down monuments and demanding that large portions of our history be removed from the records. They are burning down homes that dare fly the U.S. flag. They are taking control of portions of cities, absurdly claiming it as their new country. Why is BLM behaving like spoiled-brat bullies on America’s playground? The answer: Because they are allowed to do it.

My stomach turned watching Tucker Carlson on Fox News cite a Rasmussen poll which says Black Lives Matter has 62% popularity, more than President Trump. I remembered a bit of wisdom my brother gave me years ago. He said whenever something shocking happens, before you respond, stabilize your emotions. Despite the depressing poll, over a million people sought tickets to attend Trump’s rally in Tulsa. Also, a Rasmussen poll says 40% of likely black voters approve of Trump’s job performance.

Fake news media is so despicable and obviously agenda-driven. Here’s a NYT’s headline, “Trump’s Rally in Tulsa Could Spread Virus.” Meanwhile, the NYT and the rest of fake news media are encouraging anarchists to flood our streets with protesters with zero concern about spreading the virus.

What is so frustrating is that BLM is an extreme racist and anti-American hate group. Years ago, BLM declared war on cops and white people. They marched down a NY street chanting, “What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!”

Folks, how can any American in their right mind support these haters, paid to assassinate cops and whites, and destroy our country? Long before the George Floyd incident, BLM was paid $150 million by George Soros and various anti-American liberal corporations and foundations.

“Accessory before the fact” is a legal term referring to a person who incites or assists someone to commit a crime. BLM is physically destroying businesses, assaulting, and murdering people. Can victims of BLM file lawsuits against major corporations who are eagerly donating millions to the domestic terrorist hate group?

Hateful extreme leftists are dominating the airwaves with intellectual sounding nonsense in praise of BLM. They claim America always has been and always will be irreversibly racist. They say the solution is to tear up and rewrite the U.S. Constitution. Folks, this is hogwash!

Given that blacks are only 13% of the population, Christians and decent whites had to play major roles in ending slavery and empowering blacks. And yet, leftists’ get away with pretending that every achievement made by blacks throughout American history was made despite white America.

Historian David Barton has done tremendous research exposing how Christian whites and blacks fought side-by-side to liberate black Americans.

Leftists do not give a rat’s derriere about black empowerment or black lives. They view blacks as useful idiots towards transforming America into their socialist/communist utopia in which anything goes sexually.

A huge elephant in the room is how long will the white majority tolerate being repeatedly poked in the eye with a hot poker of racial hate by BLM; demanded to kneel in worship to blacks? While claiming to be against racial hate, leftists are intentionally generating such hate. They believe voters will blame Trump and vote against him in November.

Evidence that leftists are lying about America being eternally racist is everywhere for anyone willing to see it. Eager to heal our nation from the wounds of slavery and racial discrimination, white America excitedly allowed a black man to bypass the usual vetting process for a presidential candidate. They gifted Obama two terms in the White House. Naive whites believed electing a black president would usher in a new era in which they could never be called “racist” again. Democrats and fake news media used Obama’s skin-color as a bludgeon to beat Republicans into submission, giving Obama free rein to implement their agenda to transform America into a socialist nation.

Here’s another example of the good-hearted nature and generosity of the American people. Fake news media and Democrats promoted the lie that Republicans and white America did not care about the victims of Hurricane Katrina because they were mostly black. The truth is U.S. donors opened their hearts, giving $4.2 billion to victims of Katrina which is believed to be the highest amount ever.

Formerly of the CIA, Buck Sexton has been ranting in his articles and tweets that we need to rally around the concept of “wartime conservatism.” Buck says the left is kicking our butts. He also called out conservative billionaires. Why aren’t they purchasing media platforms and funding our cause?

The GOP is asking people to donate at https://takethehouse.com/, which is a good thing. However, everywhere I turn, I see people afraid, angry, and frustrated because they feel like the GOP is doing nothing to push back against ANTIFA and BLM running wild in our streets.

I would love for the Tea Party buses to roll again. Frankly, thus far, the funding is simply not there. Yes, I have been contacted by concerned Americans who are eager to donate. However, a tour needs a major donor to get the ball rounding.

While we struggle to find funding for a bus tour to inspire and encourage Trump’s base, BLM has a war-chest of mega-millions to destroy America and block Trump’s reelection. There is something terribly wrong with this picture.

Another thing causing my head to explode is of the pandering to BLM… an evil and demonic hate group. In compliance with BLM, pastors are telling their white congregations to own up to their white privilege. My response is, “Stop it! Stop falling for leftists’ bogus guilt-trip.”

For crying out loud! America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to pursue their dreams. Anything else is a lie!

Trump Campaign Burning Down Faster Than America’s Cities

Monday night saw more communists trying to tear down another American monument, this time right in front of the White House. We watched this on TV and the rioters were on the verge of taking down a statue of Andrew Jackson before the police finally showed up. This monument was saved, while many others have fallen. Once again, President Trump threatened action of some kind against the rioters.

Justice for the lawbreakers, we were told, is coming. But many Trump supporters aren’t buying it anymore. They’re sick and tired of the do-nothing approach to the communist revolution in America. Trump will not and cannot win under these circumstances.

On top of this debacle, the Trump rally in Tulsa was a disaster, as campaign manager Brad Parscale advertised that one million people had reserved tickets but only about 6000 or so showed up at the actual rally. They blamed the low turnout on the media. Their fallback face-saving position was that millions of people watched it online.

Lou Dobbs of the Fox Business Network wasn’t buying it. On his Monday show, he interviewed former Reagan campaign manager Ed Rollins about the debacle. He said Trump is behind 9-10 points in most polls and that a campaign shake-up is needed. He said Parscale is “running an empire” and has taken $30-$40 million out of the campaign, “which is unheard of.” In other words, he is getting rich. Indeed, his luxurious lifestyle of fancy homes and cars and a yacht has been the subject of conservative media reports.

Referring to Trump’s remarks at the rally, Rollins said that “There was no message,” adding, “He rattled on for two hours.” He said Trump needs to articulate a vision for dealing with coronavirus, economic collapse, budget deficits, the Democrats, and other substantive matters.

It’s even worse than Rollins indicated. As noted by this columnist in the article, “Trump Hires ‘Bush’s Brain’ to Lose to Biden,” Parscale is now consulting Karl Rove for advice on how to move forward. Rove blew $300 million on the failed 2012 Mitt Romney for president campaign, after telling the candidate not to brand his opponent, Barack Hussein Obama, a socialist. Rove is notorious for advising candidates to move to the left.

My website America’s Survival, Inc. is hearing from many Trump supporters who have turned on the president, with one remarking that Trump “appears to be AWOL on the issues that are threatening to destroy our country…”

This person added, “I feel totally betrayed by him, especially in his apparent weakness in dealing with the military ‘leaders’ who publicly undercut his authority. This failure to act made him appear weak, and then his constant Tweeted threats against the insurrection taking place, without any follow-up that would show he is unafraid to confront those who would destroy our nation, makes me wonder if he ever actually had any good intentions toward the U.S. I know I am not the only American who feels betrayed, and can now only wonder: If Trump actually wants to lose to Biden, or has grown tired of the battle any POTUS must expect to endure, where does that leave us?”

In response to my column, “The Traitors, Dopes, Dupes, and Globalists Around Trump,” one asked, “why has Trump always surrounded himself, and then continued to hire and appoint (even after being elected President) so many of these scoundrels who have opened him up to valid criminal investigations?”

Another wondered why so many Trump associates have been marched off to prison and abused while associates of former president Obama still are free. Meanwhile, Attorney General William Barr promises action, but none is taken, and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russia-gate hoax drag on. He said that Trump “adopted a position of complete passivity when his supporters were singled out and prosecuted…The prosecutors poured on the coals to get those guys screwed, blued, and tattooed but more than three years down the pike there sit Barr and Durham unable even to nail the lowlife who swore out false affidavits in the FISA process.”

He said there was a “lightning prosecution” for former Trump adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort but “glacial movement” with regard to the anti-Trump conspirators Hillary Clinton and FBI officials Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, and James Comey. This person concluded, “Trump epitomizes that Cold War observation that there’s no advantage to being America’s friend and no penalty for being her enemy. Trump’s epitaph ought to be ‘Somebody should do something about that.’”

Faced with this hope, perhaps a false hope, one person told me that she is “exhausted from fighting,” noting that the Marxists “have total control of media, Hollywood, the Judiciary, and the educational system…They have more people, organizations, and resources than our side.”

Trump was supposed to be their savior. He has failed them. But don’t forget to send in your financial contribution to Brad Parscale and Karl Rove.
