Unborn Lives Matter But Not To Faux-Catholic Biden – America’s King Herod

By: Daniel John Sobieski

January 29, 2021, saw the March for Life in Washington, D.C., which recently saw the storming of the Capitol by individuals allegedly incited to violence by President Trump’s documentation of 2020 election fraud and an exhortation for those marching to “peacefully and patriotically” protest. This year’s “march” was a virtual one due to the Chinese Wuhan pandemic, the irony being that abortion has and will kill more human beings than COVID-19 or any other virus. President Trump spoke in person at last year’s live Mach for Life, the first President to do so. Joe Biden did not speak at this year’s event, not even from the White House basement. He had other plans for the unborn.

Riddle me this – just how can an allegedly “devout Catholic” like Joe Biden, said to be the “most religious President ever” be in such a rush to slay the first-born (second and third… for that matter) of America and the world through renewed use of U.S. tax dollars to pay for publicly-funded abortions. The answer is that he cannot and like King Herod before him callously promotes evil forces against the most innocent among us for his own political motives.

Don’t talk to me about President Trump inciting people to deadly violence when you have President Biden inciting deadly violence against the unborn and paying for this violence in a place ever more sacred than the halls of Congress – their mother’s womb. Don’t talk to me about guns taking innocent lives when forceps and scalpels have killed and will kill more than bullets in our streets. And that’s the way our “religious” and “Catholic” president wants it. Liberals used to talk about “safe spaces” and then fund violence in what should be the safest place on earth – a mother’s womb. Liberals like Joe Biden want to control us from womb to tomb. They also don’t mind if the womb and the tomb are the same place.

The fact is that Joe Biden is a Catholic in name only, a false prophet leading our lambs to slaughter and paying for the trip. His executive orders are death warrants for the unborn. As LiveAction reported, Joe Biden was quick to sign an executive order restoring federal funding to Planned Parenthood:

President Joe Biden signed a presidential memorandum on Thursday, January 28, 2021, reversing the Trump administration rule blocking abortion businesses and centers that refer patients for abortion from receiving federal funding through the Title X family planning program.

The 2018 “Protect Life Rule” required abortion businesses to both fiscally and physically separate family planning/birth control services from their abortion-related business. It also stated that family planning centers must stop referring patients for abortions in order to receive Title X funding.

Title X states, “None of the funds appropriated under this title shall be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.” The Department of Health and Human Services under Trump worked to ensure this was properly enforced.

From 2013 to 2015, Planned Parenthood received $1.5 billion in federal funding through the Title X “family planning” program. That program was Planned Parenthood’s second-largest source of federal funding after Medicaid.

Now “devout Catholic” Joe Biden wants to put Planned Parenthood’s hands back in the federal funding cookie jar domestically. He also plans to fund the slaying of the unborn worldwide by rescinding the “Mexico City Policy” which restricts foreign aid being used to fund abortions overseas. As Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of the 14,000-member First Baptist Church of Dallas and a Fox News contributor writes at FoxNews.com:

The Biden administration has decided to abolish the ‘Mexico City Policy.’ The policy was first instituted by then-President Ronald Reagan, who declared that the U.S. government would no longer give funds for global aid to international organizations that promoted or performed abortions….

President Biden’s long record in politics is littered with support for half-measures and compromises on abortion. I’m not sure whether someone can really be “moderate” on abortion, but Biden tried for decades to occupy some kind of mushy middle ground on this issue.

That is until last year, of course. Planned Parenthood used their deep pockets and their outsized influence to keep the Democratic Party in lockstep with their agenda. Biden folded like a cheap suit. His campaign embraced an anything-goes, abortion-on-demand platform….

You can’t live one way on Sunday and the opposite way during the rest of the week. You can’t confess that “Jesus loves the little children” while in church on Sunday and then sign a death warrant for the little children while in the Oval Office on Thursday.

At least one Catholic leader had the courage to call Biden on his pretending to be a Catholic while flouting a basic tenet of Catholic doctrine in the political arena and being a mover and shaker in perhaps the greatest ongoing carnage in human history, actually denying him the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

In an age of “cafeteria Catholics” who pick and choose which church doctrines they will adhere to and which they will ignore, an age where we have a Pope Francis who would have us pray for the oceans and invites Amazonian “priests” and their fertility gods into the Vatican, it was refreshing to see a Catholic priest speak truth to power and tell a craven Catholic politician that abortion-on-demand is a moral evil opposed by the Catholic Church and to approve of it means you are unworthy of receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion. You cannot be personally opposed to a moral evil such as abortion any more than you can be personally opposed to slavery evidently.

Biden, while campaigning in South Carolina, presented himself for Holy Communion and was refused communion at the 9 a.m. mass at Saint Anthony Catholic Church where Father Robert E. Morey serves as pastor. As the Christian Post reported:

Morey confirmed with SC Now that Biden was denied the sacrament because of his advocacy for abortion rights. …

“Sadly, this past Sunday, I had to refuse Holy Communion to former Vice President Joe Biden,” Morey told the publication Monday. “Holy Communion signifies we are one with God, each other and the Church. Our actions should reflect that. Any public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of Church teaching.”

The rebuke from Morey comes after Biden publicly objected last Wednesday to a proposal to outlaw abortions in South Carolina after about six weeks of pregnancy, including in cases of rape or incest….

He also noted that even though he personally opposes abortion, “I don’t think I have the right to impose my view — on something I accept as a matter of faith — on the rest of society.”

But, Joe,  as a Catholic you are obligated to practice your faith, and spread your faith, to make apostles of all nations.

Your faith is not just a one hour on a Sunday thing and you are commanded by your Catholic Church and its founder, Jesus Christ, to place the light you have been blessed with high on the nightstand and not hide it under a bushel. Can a politician kiss babies if he believes their birth is a choice like which shoes to wear?

Biden’s target in 2020 was President Donald J. Trump, who has publicly professed that he believes that every human life is a gift from God. Warren, who supports abortion to the moment of birth, denies the humanity of the unborn and their right to life. Does Biden remember the Bible passage where Mary, pregnant with the fetus Christians call Jesus, greeted Elizabeth, and the baby, yes, baby that was to become John the Baptist, leapt in her mother’s womb? Does he remember the passage where God reminds us that even before he formed us in the womb, He knew us?

Biden’s faith is very selective. The faith of our Founding Fathers was absolute when they noted in the Declaration of Independence that our unalienable rights, came from our Creator and that foremost among those rights, before liberty and the pursuit of happiness, was life.

Joe Biden has the moral spine and religious convictions of a jellyfish. How else to explain the “triple-Axelrod” awarded by veteran operative David Axelrod to this serial groper, who would only have a grasp on reality if it were female, for blindly agreeing to a rope-line question about past support for the Hyde Amendment blocking federal funding of abortion? Axelrod discussed Biden’s remarks with Alisyn Camerota on CNN:

Former Obama campaign manager David Axelrod weighed in on Joe Biden’s position reversal on the Hyde Amendment, which bars federal funding for most abortions, saying it is a “flip flop flip” which highlights some of the larger problems with his candidacy:

DAVID AXELROD: I think that this was a parable about Biden that goes to question marks about his candidacy…. the virtue of having a long record and comforting people and being a figure of stability has the flip side that you have to defend positions that you’ve had over the course of 45 years in politics, some of which may have been acceptable in the day and not acceptable now. We see that on this issue of the Hyde Amendment… Joe Biden was out on the campaign, and he’s not been out that much and a voter challenged him on the question of Hyde, video was rolling, and he said he would reverse this policy…. Then the next day when it came to light the campaign put out a statement and said, no, he still believes in the Hyde amendment. Then there was a furor and last night he flipped again. So that was a flip, flop, flip, which is never a good thing in politics and it raises questions about his own performance and his own steadiness, and his campaign’s performance. So this was not a good — you know, beyond the issue itself, this was not a reassuring episode for the Biden campaign.

ALISYN CAMEROTA, CNN: A flip-flop flip, also known as a triple Axelrod.

The third flip doomed his candidacy, a gaffe of Chernobyl proportions.  It blew his street credits with independents as a “moderate” who could at least be the adult in the room who could beat Trump. And it does not impress those who believe infanticide is a human right. Joe Biden is a political shape-shifter with a spine of gelatin whose triple-Axelrod was performed to pass muster with the new Democratic dogma to get him past the Lilliputian-elimination primaries to become the Democratic nominee.

The Democrat Pary of Joe Biden has moved from “the right to choose” to the obligation to kill up to the moment of birth, sometimes even afterward. Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the baby butcher of Philadelphia, is suddenly the patron saint of the full-blown abortion Democrat Party. Joe Biden didn’t want to suffer the plight of pro-life Illinois Dem. Cong. Dan Lipinski, fighting attempts from the national Democrats to purge him.

Those who believe life begins at conception and ends at natural death are not welcome in the Democratic Party. Such intolerance, particularly on abortion, was a prime factor in Trump’s win. Trump took Hillary Clinton apart when in the final presidential debate she defended the right to end unborn lives in the womb using the barbaric procedure known as partial-birth abortion, which involves the physical dismemberment of nearly born infants. As the Washington Times noted, Donald Trump objected to doing to the preborn what you are not allowed to do to dogs and cats:

Hillary Clinton defended the practice of partial-birth abortion in the final presidential debate on Wednesday, obscuring her belief that abortion should be legal at any point during a pregnancy by appealing to the “health” of the mother.

Asked to defend her vote in the Senate against the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003, which was ultimately enacted, Mrs. Clinton said she was not convinced the legislation did enough to protect the “life and health of the mother.”…

“Well, I think it’s terrible,” Mr. Trump said. “If you go with what Hillary is saying, in the ninth month [of pregnancy], you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby.”

Yet such barbarism is now a plank in the Democrat Platform. Biden’s explanation for supporting such barbarism is nonsensical:

“If I believe health care is a right, as I do, I can no longer support an amendment that makes that right dependent on someone’s ZIP code,” he said. “I can’t justify leaving millions of women without the access to the care they need, and the ability to exercise their constitutionally protected right.”

Abortion is not health care. As the recent birth and survival of an 8-ounce baby, dubbed “Saybie” by attending nurses shows, it is never necessary to kill the baby to save the mother.

Never. Although one of Joe Biden’s key advisers in his flip-flop-flip, actress Alyssa Milano, might disagree:

Actress Alyssa Milano, an outspoken women’s rights advocate and friend of Joe Biden, reportedly urged the former vice president to reverse his stance on the Hyde Amendment after he reaffirmed his decades-long support for the ban on federal funding for abortions.

The Atlantic reported Friday that Milano spoke with campaign manager Greg Schultz over the phone on Wednesday, telling him that Biden needed to change his stance on the controversial amendment.

CNN reported that Biden heard directly from Milano encouraging him to reverse his position on the issue.

No wonder Biden’s campaign is imploding. He holds no principled positions that he can coherently defend and is reliant on former child stars for moral guidance and strategic campaign advice.

Father Morey was right to deny Biden Holy Communion. The presidency may be increasingly out of reach but going to Confession next Sunday is still an option.

I, like Joe Biden, am a Catholic, but I unlike Joe Biden, accept the basic tenet that life begins at conception and ends at natural death. The time and means of our passing are determined by God, not by a surgeon’s instruments and that abortion on demand is a moral evil. You cannot choose otherwise and be a Catholic.

That is what former Notre Dame Football coach Lou Holtz said on Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention. He took a lot of heat for it but he was absolutely and eloquently right:

Sharing the ideals of the Catholic university he was a legendary football coach of, former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz said Joe Biden and the Democrats are “Catholics in name only. Nobody has been a stronger advocate for the unborn than President [Donald] Trump,” Holtz said in an address to the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night. “The Biden-Harris ticket is the most radically pro-abortion campaign in history.”They and other politicians are Catholics in name only, abandoning innocent lives. President Trump protects those lives.”

Responding to the inevitable outcry from those who believe all our rights and moral authority comes from government, Holtz defended the truth others can’t handle, truth based on exactly what Catholic teaching says:

“People have taught me that to murder an unborn child at nine months is illegal,” Holtz told “Bill Hemmer Reports”. “That’s not part of the Catholic faith. And Joe Biden — he may be a wonderful individual, I hear great things about him — I’m not casting aspersions on his character, his integrity, but I am casting aspersions on his decision.”…

In the Catholic Catechism, abortion itself — described as “gravely contrary to moral law” — is classified as a violation of the Fifth Commandment against killing. Catholic clergy have repeatedly condemned both the act itself and abortion-rights political advocacy. Vatican officials have reportedly said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. should be denied the sacrament of Holy Communion, and the last pope — Pope Benedict XVI — personally reminded her of the Church’s stance on the issue during a private meeting.

Joe Biden’s executive orders and his personnel choices prove that he isn’t Catholic. His pick for HHS Secretary, Xavier Becerra, who is ready and willing to carry out his executive orders, is a pro-abortion Kamala Harris clone, Perhaps, given his cognitive difficulties and documented mental decline, we can echo the words Jesus Christ spoke from the Cross and say, Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he does.

The Republican Party at the Crossroads

By: Cliff Kincaid

In 1962, a former FBI agent by the name of Dan Smoot wrote a book about an “invisible government” running America. Decades later, FBI agents would become members of that invisible government and arrange a political surveillance operation directed at President Donald J. Trump. Only one of these corrupt officials, former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith, has been held accountable.

But “accountable” doesn’t really apply. Clinesmith pleaded guilty to criminal charges in connection with an illegal surveillance warrant and he was “sentenced” by Judge James E. Boasberg to probation.

This means that the surveillance state that subverted the Trump presidency is still in place and running the show under the Joe Biden regime. The former president must, if he proceeds with an impeachment defense, expose not only the fraudulent election but the Deep State agencies in on it.

The rest of the culprits from the intelligence community are free, some still in power and others making appearances on TV and arranging book deals to make themselves rich. They now want additional powers, in the form of the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, to put Trump supporters under surveillance and jail them.

Our only hope, in terms of a functioning two-party system, consists of the new members of Congress, such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has introduced charges of impeachment against China Joe.

One of the GOP members doing the right thing, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, is under attack because she has dared to file impeachment charges against China Joe, mostly over his family’s financial dealings with China and other foreign countries. Although she has the full support of former President Trump, House Republican Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy says he opposes that course of action.

Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has attacked Greene, in what is clearly an effort to divert attention away from Rep. Eric Swalwell, an impeachment manager against Trump who was reported to have had a romantic relationship with a Chinese spy.

Another feisty GOP lawmaker is Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, who is sounding the alarm about “the unprecedented market manipulation” by financial institutions and Big Tech in the current financial crisis. She’s also a big Second Amendment supporter

But House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy doesn’t want to fight. When former Republican Rep. Steve King came under media attack for speaking out in favor of saving Western civilization, McCarthy arranged to have King replaced on various congressional committees. His pressure eventually led to King losing his seat in Congress.

The liberal media’s charge against King was a familiar one – racism. The charge against Greene is that she is a conspiracy theorist. Left-wing comedians are even on the attack against her.

The real conspiracy is the FBI/CIA cabal that subverted the Trump presidency and brought an administration under the control of China to power.

So-called “conservatives” such as Tyler O’Neil of PJ Media have accepted the left-wing narrative about Greene, and he now insists that Republicans have an obligation to denounce her for controversial statements she made on social media years ago. This is how conservatives play into the hands of those determined to run true conservatives out of the GOP.

The author of Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center, O’Neil should know better. The left always dredges up something to use against conservatives.

True conservative leaders had said about Kevin McCarthy’s handling of King: “We are appalled that Republican leadership would choose to believe a liberal news organization famous for their bias over an outstanding member of Congress who has served the people of Iowa and the United States honorably and faithfully for 16 years.”

It looks like he’s planning similar treatment for Rep. Greene. But Trump has reportedly made a call of support to her.

More than half of the GOP conference in the House wants Rep. Liz Cheney out of her number three leadership post because of her vote for impeachment. “There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution,” she claimed.

Yet, Trump used his speech at the January 6 rally to urge his followers to act peacefully and patriotically.

Depending on what happens in the GOP, there is an alternative – the Constitution Party. I recently interviewed its national chairman Jim Clymer on America’s Survival television.

Clymer says, “True Constitutionalists have been courted by Republicans when seeking our support, only to be kicked by them in the teeth when it counts the most.  I believe the Republican Party has so betrayed its principles, and those of its supporters, that it is no longer worthy to be called the home of Constitutional conservatives and it is time for it to be relegated to the dustbin of history.”

With adequate funding, the Constitution Party is a structure that could easily be developed into a highly effective and competitive organization.

Howard Phillips had started this third political party when the Republican Party began drifting away from conservatism. He always stood for principle. He was a conservative first and last.

We can’t say that about the Republican Senators confirming people like Avril Haines as Director of National Intelligence and Tony Blinken as Secretary of State in the Biden Administration.

There is a chance, however, to defeat another power grab for the surveillance state.

Some left-wing groups are opposing the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act because they think the new surveillance powers will be turned on non-white people.

In terms of the upcoming farcical impeachment trial of the former president, Republican Leader Mitch McConnell betrayed the president by echoing Democratic Party charges that he somehow incited the events of January 6 but then voted, in effect, to declare the impeachment trial unconstitutional.

On this basis, Senators can recommend that Trump take up the case already filed by attorney Orly Taitz, who argues in a lawsuit that the trial of a former president is clearly unconstitutional. Taitz made this case to me during another recent episode of America’s Survival television. She was denied standing, something available to Trump, but can appeal.

If Trump proceeds with a defense, he has every right — indeed, an obligation — to expose the fraudulent nature of the election and the Deep State forces which brought China Joe to power. He has to find courageous lawyers willing to argue the case and stand up to legal pressure. I recently interviewed attorney Mark Fitzgibbons about efforts by the far-left Democrats to “purge” conservatives from the legal profession.

But if Republicans continue playing defense, true conservatives will have nowhere else to go but the Constitution Party.

Biden is staffing a Supreme Court Committee led by Bob Bauer

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

Supreme Court ends Trump emoluments lawsuits

You may remember Bob Bauer when he was a trusted Obama White House lawyer… and, oh yeah, he is married to Anita Dunn, famous for including in a speech that 2 of her most favorite people were Mother Teresa and Mao Zedong. Yeah, great couple right?

Mr. and Mrs. Triple Evils, Obama, Perkins Coie Law Firm And Fusion GPS ...

It should also be noted that Anita Dunn was a top Biden campaign advisor.

Yeesh… meanwhile…

Bauer is Professor of Practice and Distinguished Scholar in Residence at NYU Law, and Co-Director of NYU’s Legislative and Regulatory Process Clinic. He served as White House Counsel to President Obama and returned to private practice in June 2011. In 2013, the president named Bauer to be Co-Chair of the Presidential Commission on Election Administration, which in January of 2014 submitted to the president its findings and recommendations in “The American Voting Experience: Report and Recommendations of the Presidential Commission on Election Administration.”

Bauer was General Counsel to Obama for America, the president’s campaign organization, in 2008 and 2012. Bob has also served as co-counsel to the New Hampshire State Senate in the trial of Chief Justice David A. Brock (2000) and counsel to the Democratic Leader in the trial of President William Jefferson Clinton (1999).

He is the author of books on campaign finance law and articles on various topics for law reviews and periodicals. He is a contributing editor of Lawfare and writes legal commentary for Just Security, and has published opinion pieces in The New York TimesThe Washington PostThe Atlantic, and other publications.

In part: Among those who will be on the commission are Cristina Rodríguez, a professor at Yale Law School and a former deputy assistant attorney general in the Obama Department of Justice, who will join Bauer as co-chair. Caroline Fredrickson, the former president of the American Constitution Society, and Jack Goldsmith, a Harvard Law School professor, and a former assistant attorney general in the Bush Department of Justice, will also serve on the commission, those familiar with discussions said.

Fredrickson has hinted that she is intellectually supportive of ideas like court expansion. In 2019, she said in an interview with Eric Lesh, the executive director of the LGBT Bar Association and Foundation of Greater New York: “I often point out to people who aren’t lawyers that the Supreme Court is not defined as ‘nine-person body’ in the Constitution, and it has changed size many times.”

Rodríguez’s opinions on court reforms are less clear. Goldsmith’s selection, meanwhile, is likely to be the one to frustrate progressives. A senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, Goldsmith did not support Trump and is a friend and co-author of Bauer. But he was a vocal advocate of Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the high court — an appointment that sparked Democratic advocacy for expanding the number of Supreme Court seats.

“He will also be an influential figure within the Supreme Court building,” Goldsmith wrote in 2018 about Kavanaugh in a Time article titled, “Brett Kavanaugh Will Right the Course of the Supreme Court.” “He is a brilliant analyst with a deep scholarly and practical knowledge of the law. His legal opinions are unusually accessible. He is a magnanimous soul.”

Bauer, who is not planning to go into the administration full-time, is himself a proponent of term limits for federal judges. He has been helping with the creation of the commission and, according to a person familiar with the deliberations, initially proposed the idea of forming a commission to study the issue of court reform.

OAG Report: Gov. Cuomo Created the COVID Death Panel

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

During Novel Coronavirus Briefing, Governor Cuomo ...

Remember Andrew Cuomo was thought to be a good candidate for president of the United States?

Remember he wrote a book about his stellar job in dealing with the pandemic in New York?

Remember he received an award for his daily virus briefings?

Remember when he blamed President Trump?

Remember when the Mercy ship, the Javits Center, and the Samaritan’s Purse built field hospitals and offered doctors and beds for several thousand patients?

Remember when he issued an executive order providing qualified immunity to all front line personnel and himself for wrongful death, malpractice, and criminal malfeasance?

Opposition to Samaritan's Purse Central Park field ...

All true… but enter the New York Inspector General report, freshly released.

Frankly, this is the scandal of the decade… read on.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York may have undercounted COVID-19 deaths of nursing home residents by as much as 50%, the state’s attorney general said in a report released Thursday.

Attorney General Letitia James has, for months, been examining discrepancies between the number of deaths being reported by the state’s Department of Health, and the number of deaths reported by the homes themselves.

Her investigators looked at a sample of 62 of the state’s roughly 600 nursing homes. They reported 1,914 deaths of residents from COVID-19, while the state Department of Health logged only 1,229 deaths at those same facilities.

If that same pattern exists statewide, James’ report said, it would mean the state is underreporting deaths by nearly 56%.

An Associated Press analysis published in August concluded that the state could be understating deaths by as much as 65%, based on discrepancies between its totals and numbers being reported to federal regulators. That analysis was, like James’ report, based on only a slice of data, rather than a comprehensive look at all homes in the state. Full article here.

In part, here is the report summary:

Overview of Findings

The report includes preliminary findings based on data obtained in investigations conducted to date, recommendations that are based on those findings, related findings in pre-pandemic investigations of nursing homes, and other available data and analysis. Based on this information and subsequent investigation, OAG is currently conducting investigations into more than 20 nursing homes across the state. OAG found that:

  • A larger number of nursing home residents died from COVID-19 than DOH data reflected;
  • Lack of compliance with infection control protocols put residents at increased risk of harm;
  • Nursing homes that entered the pandemic with low U.S. Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) Staffing ratings had higher COVID-19 fatality rates;
  • Insufficient personal protective equipment (PPE) for nursing home staff put residents at increased risk of harm;
  • Insufficient COVID-19 testing for residents and staff in the early stages of the pandemic put residents at increased risk of harm;
  • The current state reimbursement model for nursing homes gives a financial incentive to owners of for-profit nursing homes to transfer funds to related parties (ultimately increasing their own profit) instead of investing in higher levels of staffing and PPE;
  • Lack of nursing home compliance with the executive order requiring communication with family members caused avoidable pain and distress; and
  • Government guidance requiring the admission of COVID-19 patients into nursing homes may have put residents at increased risk of harm in some facilities and may have obscured the data available to assess that risk.

Undercounting of COVID-19 Deaths in Nursing Homes

Preliminary data obtained by OAG suggests that many nursing home residents died from COVID-19 in hospitals after being transferred from their nursing homes, which is not reflected in DOH’s published total nursing home death data. Preliminary data also reflects apparent underreporting to DOH by some nursing homes of resident deaths occurring in nursing homes. In fact, the OAG found that nursing home resident deaths appear to be undercounted by DOH by approximately 50 percent.

OAG asked 62 nursing homes (10 percent of the total facilities in New York) for information about on-site and in-hospital deaths from COVID-19. Using the data from these 62 nursing homes, OAG compared: (1) in-facility deaths reported to OAG compared to in-facility deaths publicized by DOH, and (2) total deaths reported to OAG compared to total deaths publicized by DOH.

In one example, a facility reported five confirmed and six presumed COVID-19 deaths at the facility as of August 3 to DOH. However, the facility reported to OAG a total of 27 COVID-19 deaths at the facility and 13 hospital deaths — a discrepancy of 29 deaths.

Lack of Compliance with Infection Control Policies

OAG received numerous complaints that some nursing homes failed to implement proper infection controls to prevent or mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 to vulnerable residents. Among those reports were allegations that several nursing homes around the state failed to plan and take proper infection control measures, including:

  • Failing to properly isolate residents who tested positive for COVID-19;
  • Failing to adequately screen or test employees for COVID-19;
  • Demanding that sick employees continue to work and care for residents or face retaliation or termination;
  • Failing to train employees in infection control protocols; and
  • Failing to obtain, fit, and train caregivers with PPE.

For instance, OAG received a complaint that at a for-profit nursing home located north of New York City, residents who tested positive for COVID-19 were intermingled with the general population for several months because the facility had not yet created a “COVID-19 only” unit. At another for-profit facility on Long Island, COVID-19 patients who were transferred to the facility after a hospital stay and were supposed to be placed in a separate COVID-19 unit in the nursing home were, in fact, scattered throughout the facility despite available beds in the COVID-19 unit. This situation was allegedly resolved only after someone at the facility learned of an impending DOH infection control visit scheduled for the next day, before which those residents were hurriedly transferred to the appropriate designated unit.

OAG received reports that nursing homes did not properly screen staff members before allowing them to enter the facility to work with residents. Among those reports, OAG received an allegation that a for-profit nursing home north of New York City failed to consistently conduct COVID-19 employee screening. It was reported that some staff avoided having their temperatures taken and answering a COVID-19 questionnaire at times when the screening station at the facility’s front entrance had no employees present to take that information or when staff entered the facility through a back entrance, avoiding the screening station altogether.

At yet another facility in Western New York, a nurse reported to OAG that immediately prior to the facility’s first DOH inspection in late April, a nurse supervisor had set up bins in front of the units with gowns and N95 masks to make it appear that the facility had an adequate supply of appropriate PPE for staff. The nurse alleged that the nurse supervisor came into work unusually early the day of the first inspection and brought out all new PPE and collected all of the used gowns. Although the initial DOH survey conducted that day did not result in negative findings, DOH returned to the facility for follow-up inspections, issued the facility several citations, and ultimately placed the facility in “Immediate Jeopardy.”

Meet Julie Su, Biden’s Choice for the Labor Dept and the $11 Billion Scandal

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

The scandal is only valued at $11.4 billion and counting. Would anything over say $500,000 come to the attention of the Governor of California or for that matter anyone else responsible to protest taxpayer dollars and law? Anyone? Not so much in California.

Julie Su: We Are the Humanities - YouTube

Lil miss Julie Su is Biden’s pick to be the Deputy Secretary of Labor.

In part from the LA Times:

“There is no sugarcoating the reality,” Su said during a press conference Monday. “California has not had sufficient security measures in place to prevent this level of fraud, and criminals took advantage of the situation.”

California has paid out $114 billion in unemployment benefits since March 2020, when the state stay-at-home orders caused many businesses to close or reduce operations, putting millions out of work. Some 19 million claims have been processed by the agency.

In addition to the 10% of benefits confirmed to involve fraud, the state is investigating another 17% of benefits involving suspicious claims that have not yet been proven to be fraudulent — about $19 billion worth.

Officials said a large number of those claims could end up being fraudulent as well.

Su said part of the blame goes to the Trump administration, which she said failed to provide adequate guidance and resources to California to counter fraudulent claims, almost all of which were filed through a new federal program that provides unemployment benefits to gig workers, independent contractors and the self-employed.

The press conference was held on the eve of the release of a state audit that is expected to be critical of California’s delays in providing unemployment benefits.

“It should be no surprise that EDD was overwhelmed, just like the rest of the nation’s unemployment agencies,” Su told reporters during a conference call. “And we now know that as millions of Californians applied for help, international and national criminal rings were at work behind the scenes working relentlessly to steal unemployment benefits using sophisticated methods of identity theft.”

While other states have also been hit with fraud, California’s population and outdated system mean it has been hit particularly hard.

The claims still being investigated include those that were part of a New Year’s Eve announcement by EDD that it was freezing 1.4 million claims pending the verification of identities.

About 1.2 million of those claims were still suspended as of last week, when the EDD said the other claimants “are either being sent a questionnaire to complete to help EDD determine if they meet eligibility requirements for continued benefits, or are receiving a Determination Notice letting them know about a disqualification and their appeal rights.”

The agency hired a contractor, ID.me, to verify the identity of claimants online, and about 30% of claims filed between Oct. 1 and Jan. 11 were blocked for fraud. The firm said it identified some 463,724 fraudulent claims during the period, which would represent more than $9 billion if the EDD had paid $20,000 on each claim.

EDD officials are also warning about new fraud schemes.

“EDD has reports that individuals are impersonating EDD and ID.me to get individuals to divulge their personal identifying information,” the agency said in a statement last week. “Californians should be aware that EDD does not send representatives to homes and neither EDD nor ID.me will contact individuals via social media and other websites.”

Su and other state officials also said Monday that they are wrestling with a backlog of claims that have not been approved 21 days after they were filed.

In announcing a strike team to evaluate the agency in July, Newsom directed action to eliminate the backlog of some 1 million claims delayed longer than 21 days, many of which required additional information from claimants by the end of September.

EDD spokeswoman Loree Levy said Monday that 99.9% of the claims in that original backlog have been resolved, and the rest will be done by the end of this month.

“Of the remaining claims, most are either pending EDD’s assessment of a potential overpayment, which doesn’t prevent payment, or EDD is waiting on a certification from the claimant required for payment,” Levy said.

Still, hundreds of thousands of new claims have flooded in since September, and the backlog of claims was at 916,000 last week, according to the most recent report by the agency.

The state’s work in the future may be complicated by the loss of top officials involved in the process. Su, whose office oversees the EDD, is being tapped by President Biden to become the number two administrator at the U.S. Department of Labor, according to a report by Bloomberg Law.

Her resume includes:

Julie Su, appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom, is the Secretary for the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA). The LWDA enforces workplace laws, combats wage theft, ensures health and safety on the job, connects Californians to quality jobs and career pathways, and administers unemployment insurance, workers compensation, and paid family leave. LWDA oversees seven major departments, boards, and panels that serve California workers and businesses by improving access to training, promoting high road jobs, eliminating barriers to employment, and creating a level playing field for employers.

Su is a nationally recognized expert on workers’ rights and civil rights who has dedicated her distinguished legal career to advancing justice on behalf of poor and disenfranchised communities and is a past recipient of a MacArthur Foundation “genius” grant.

As California Labor Commissioner from 2011 through 2018, Su enforced the State’s labor laws to ensure a fair and just workplace for both employees and employers. A report on her tenure released in May 2013 found that her leadership has resulted in a renaissance in enforcement activity and record-setting results. In 2014, she launched the first “Wage Theft Is a Crime” multimedia, multilingual statewide campaign to reach out to low-wage workers and their employers to help them understand their rights and feel safe speaking up about labor law abuses.

Prior to her appointment as California Labor Commissioner, Su was the Litigation Director at Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Los Angeles, the nation’s largest non-profit civil rights organization devoted to issues affecting the Asian American community. Su is known for pioneering a multi-strategy approach that combines successful impact litigation with multiracial organizing, community education, policy reform, coalition building, and media work.

Frequently named to top-lawyer lists such as the Daily Journal’s “Top 75 Women Litigators” in California and California Lawyer’s “Super Lawyers,” she was the first Labor Commissioner to be included among the Daily Journal’s “Top 75 Labor and Employment Lawyers.” She has also been named one of the 50 most noteworthy women alumni of Harvard Law School and one of the 100 most influential people in Los Angeles in Los Angeles Magazine.

Su has taught at UCLA Law School and Northeastern Law School. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School and began her career with a Skadden Fellowship. Su speaks Mandarin and Spanish.

Suspension of the 1st Amendment

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

‘Petition the government for a redress of grievances’…remember that part of the First Amendment? 45 words of freedom… no more.

Diogenes' Middle Finger: NYT Graciously Admits the 1st ...

So, from the Department of Homeland Security under the Biden administration… Notice it expires in 3 months… hummm

Summary

The Acting Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin due to a heightened threat environment across the United States, which DHS believes will persist in the weeks following the successful Presidential Inauguration.  Information suggests that some ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence.

Duration

Issued:  January 27, 2021 11:00 am
Expires:  April 30, 2021 01:00 pm

Details

  • Throughout 2020, Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs) targeted individuals with opposing views engaged in First Amendment-protected, non-violent protest activity.  DVEs motivated by a range of issues, including anger over COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 election results, and police use of force have plotted and on occasion carried out attacks against government facilities.
  • Long-standing racial and ethnic tension—including opposition to immigration—has driven DVE attacks, including a 2019 shooting in El Paso, Texas that killed 23 people.
  • DHS is concerned these same drivers to violence will remain through early 2021 and some DVEs may be emboldened by the January 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. to target elected officials and government facilities.
  • DHS remains concerned that Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVEs) inspired by foreign terrorist groups, who committed three attacks targeting government officials in 2020, remain a threat.
  • Threats of violence against critical infrastructure, including the electric, telecommunications and healthcare sectors, increased in 2020 with violent extremists citing misinformation and conspiracy theories about COVID-19 for their actions.
  • DHS, as well as other Federal agencies and law enforcement partners will continue to take precautions to protect people and infrastructure across the United States.
  • DHS remains committed to preventing violence and threats meant to intimidate or coerce specific populations on the basis of their religion, race, ethnicity, identity or political views.
  • DHS encourages state, local, tribal, and territorial homeland security partners to continue prioritizing physical security measures, particularly around government facilities, to protect people and critical infrastructure.

The Biden inaugural address included much of this language and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez may be nuts but she is telling us what is really going on… this is a full blown assault on white, conservative citizens across the country… 70,80, 90, 100 million people perhaps?

Do you really know the reason the National Guard is still in Washington, DC? It is not so much about securing the Capitol or guarding against further protests, it is a message to the nation that you are simply no longer trusted in any form.

Further, this site wrote about pending legislation in Congress that should terrify you beyond words. As a reminder:

There have been countless hearings on The Hill in various committees where Democrats assert the deadly threats of white nationalism and systemic racism. At no time is there tangible evidence except talking points concocted by progressive think tanks and isolated cases investigated by the FBI.

There is also the ever-constant issue getting very little attention and that is ‘critical race theory’. Emerging from Harvard University in the 1980s, critical race theory came from Derrick Bell, a tenured African-American professor.

In part from The Federalist:

As such, federal employees and those who work for corporations that do business with the federal government sucked into the poisonous vortex of critical race theory can thank President Trump for ordering a stop to the promulgation of critical race theory. Thanks should also be sent to scholar Christopher Rufo, whose diligence brought the critical race theory venom to the forefront of Trump’s attention, and Russ Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget, who is working to root out members of the administrative state who defy that order.

It’s important to remember that because very few of its activists have shown much sincere desire to end racism, critical race theory should not be taken entirely at face value. If a majority of its supporters were sincere, they would be willing to have fruitful discussions in a civil society that supports civil discourse. Rather, critical race theory’s agitators are committed to tearing down civil society on the pretense that it is an incubator for “systemic racism.”

If you’ve any doubt about that, consider the Smithsonian display on “whiteness” that condemned all elements of civil society, including politeness, hard work, self-reliance, logic, planning, and family cohesion. None of those are “white” values, but critical race theory frames them just so. This sort of animus proves that critical race theory “arguments” are non-starters and merely serve as convenient pretexts for power grabs.

Doused with critical race theory, the Black Lives Matter organization and its related Antifa-infused mobs are organized for the same purposes as all cult recruits: to recruit more people and to implement the desire to divide and conquer. The phenomenon can be seen as they surround people in vehicles or restaurants, demanding their victims raise a fist and recite slogans under the intense intimidation and implications of violence.

Where do you go to redress grievances? Nowhere… just behave accordingly to the Democrats.

Working on the Engine

By: T.F. Stern | Self-Educated American

This morning there was a photograph of an airline mechanic standing on top of a ladder while putting what looked like Duct Tape around the front of the jet engine.  The likelihood of Duct Tape being used for that particular function is minimal at best, but it might have caused a mild panic for passengers looking on.

Back in 1970, while on my way back to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina (it might have been Ft. Gordon, Georgia, to complete Military Police School), I was awaiting a delayed flight out of IAH in Houston.  The delay had something to do with one of the four jet engines as I watched the mechanic standing on a huge ladder as he went over the schematic printed on the engine cover which was propped open.  His finger followed the diagram to a certain point whereupon he’d turn his head and try to follow the information offered by running his finger across the jet engine.  He did this several times; each time a scowl crossed his face as he grimaced in dissatisfaction.

He had my attention.

While talking into a portable radio, he again ran his finger along the schematic diagram while listening to the instructions being offered.  He repeated the ritual of feeling his way across the jet engine which didn’t match up with the diagram; his finger stopped as if there was a hole preventing it from moving further.  He put the jet engine cover down, similar to slamming the hood on a car in anger, and fastened the screws that held it in place; not having done anything other than shake his head in disgust.

My attention to his every action was intense as I followed his getting off the ladder and his using the stairs that led up to the passenger jetway.  After getting his attention, blocking his forward progress by standing in such a way as to make it impossible for him to ignore me, I asked if the plane was okay to fly.

His answer did not put me at ease.  “Oh, these newer planes fly just as well on three engines as they do on all four.”  He probably thought that was a clever comeback line as he walked away, thinking that he’d have a good laugh once he reached the employee’s break-room.

I, on the other hand, was about to fly across the county in an airplane that had been delayed for about an hour and a half.  From what I could tell, nothing had been done to correct whatever had been the cause of the delay.  Aside from that, the odds of meeting up with my connecting flight were slim.

About the only positive mark was that all the seats in Coach were filled and they had to put me in First Class.  One of the perks of being in First Class…speaking as a young Private in the Army who had never flown First Class…they served alcoholic beverages at no charge from the moment the doors closed until the airplane reached its final approach into Atlanta.  I got ‘properly snockered’; I believe that’s the appropriate term.  I figured if the plane was going to crash, I was going to be smashed before anyone else.

Amazingly, the flight across the country caught a terrific Jet Stream which pushed the arrival time making it possible for me to catch my connecting flight.  I hurried across the airport and was happy to see the connecting flight had also been delayed due to mechanical issues.  Running through the airport with a heavy buzz was a new experience; plowed would be a more accurate description, I was plowed.

They boarded everyone onto the plane while a team of mechanics dressed in overalls continued with their repairs.  I managed to engage one of them in conversation and found that something wasn’t working with the air conditioning system.  I told him about needing to get back to base to avoid being late and not to worry about the air conditioning.  He explained that the air conditioning and passengers being able to breathe were all part of the same system.

Looked like we might have to wait for repairs; I was going to be late reporting back in, about two hours late.  I took a bus back to base around ten o’clock; it was raining, just perfect.

The Duty Sergeant listened to my lame excuse for being late, observed my alcohol-induced state of readiness along with my sincere attempt to sober up.  He determined the situation really was out of my hands as I stood before him with my travel bag and paperwork.  Instead of writing me up, he assigned me to work a guard post the remainder of the night.

As I stood guard that night it might have been nice to have a roll of Duct Tape, something to hold me up till sunrise.

Mike Lindell, MyPillow, And The Smothering Of Liberty By Tyrannical Leftists

By: Daniel John Sobieski

Remember when the liberals were warning us that Donald Trump was a dictator or about to become one? We were told his attacks on “fake news” had a “chilling effect” on freedom of the press, that his suggestion that the National Guard be used to restore order as riots raged unchecked following the death of George Floyd was an illegal use of the military, that any invocation of the Insurrection Act was unconstitutional, and that his border wall was a monument to racist tyranny. Townhall.Com reminds us of just a few of the examples:

It’s Berlin 1933 all over again, and Donald Trump and his brownshirts (i.e. anyone who voted for him) are on the verge of extinguishing American Democracy and installing Trump as Maximum Leader.

“He behaves like a dictator,” tweets Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts.

“We need to accept the fact that this president if given the opportunity, will try to be a dictator,” according to Congressman Ruben Gallego of Arizona.

“Authoritarians, often mentally unstable people with deeply narcissistic needs, transform this kind of chaos into dictatorships,” David Leege, professor of political science at Notre Dame, quoted in The New York Times.

Well, now, suddenly the liberals have a new fondness for walls and National Guard troops in our streets. Falsely calling the Jan. 6 storming of the Capitol an “insurrection,” they exploited it to escalate a campaign to intimidate and silence Trump supporters and conservatives.  They turned the Biden inauguration and Washington D.C. into a Third World armed camp with high walls and socially distanced National Guardsmen protecting the politicians with protection they denied people in cities burned, looted, and ravaged by Antifa and BLM-led riots earlier.

They are doing all the things that Donald J. Trump never did and what real dictators do. Progressive Democrats and their allies in Big Tech and the media are shutting down media outlets that hold alternate views or allow alternate views from the New York Post to Parler. Opposing thoughts are not allowed to be held or expressed in any forum. They are making enemies lists. Anyone who supported Trump, wore a MAGA hat or attended a Trump rally is to be identified and shunned. They are to be denied educational and business opportunities, bank loans, mortgages, or college loans. Their college degrees are to be rescinded. If they have jobs, they will be fired. This is the Orwellian nightmare the liberal brown shirts working in Biden’s gulag have in store for us. This is the dictatorship of the left.

Liberal tyrants plotted to remove Trump before he was even elected and now want to impeach him after he left office, an unconstitutional act. They concocted phony dossiers, a Russian collusion hoax, and a Ukraine hoax. Does anyone remember the liberal riots in Washington D.C. as President Trump took his oath of office?

“Peacefully and patriotically,” as President Trump urged his supporters to act, are not words you heard when progressives like Kamala Harris formed their “resistance” against Trump or as our cities burned in Antifa and BLM-led riots. The George Floyd/BLM protests cost 1-2 billion dollars in damage. They protested in over 140 cities. Dozens of people died and over 14,000 were arrested, a federal courthouse in Portland was burned, as well as a historic church in Washington, D.C. but only the Capitol Hill protestors threatened our democracy. Nobody wanted to build walls or call the National Guard in 2017.

Those who warned Trump was or would be a dictator now want to silence any voice or any opinion not their own whether on social media, legacy media, or in any public forum. They will censor conservative ability to speak, research, organize and even go after that old Constitutional right – the right to assemble and petition for redress of grievances. Shut up, they argue, as we establish control over every aspect of your daily life before we send you to the reeducation camp for deprogramming from your time in the Trump “cult.”

They want to punish and “cancel” anyone who supported Donald Trump, the latest big-name example being Mike Lindell who, as well as being an early and ardent Trump supporter, has committed the sin of being a successful capitalist who believes in making a profit and whose life story is a rejection of dependency and victimhood and a stunning reminder that if you want to get back on your feet you first have to get off your butt. Brigitte Gabriel of ACTforAmerica details the liberal McCarthyism directed at he “MyPillow guy”:

Radical Leftists are waging an all-out assault on Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s to “cancel” the wildly popular “My Pillow” line of products.

My Pillow was founded by Mike Lindell, a faithful Christian, and pro-Trump businessman. It has been a pillar of society and earned international headlines when it shifted all of its production to masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mike Lindell deserves to be praised for his leadership. But instead, Radical Leftists want him canceled. That’s why it’s so important for all of us to urge Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s to RESIST the Radical Left and STAND with My Pillow!

Lindell points the finger for the liberal witch hunt targeting him at a group of Internet vigilantes under the name Sleeping Giants who want to “cancel” him and others and remove them from the public square for exercising their free speech rights in support of President Donald  J. Trump. As the Washington Examiner reports:

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said that two large retailers have pulled his products from shelves as he continues to question the results of the presidential election.

“I just got off the phone with Bed Bath and Beyond,” Lindell said during an interview with Right Side Broadcasting on Monday night. “They’re dropping MyPillow.”

“I just got off the phone not five minutes ago,” Lindell, a staunch supporter of President Trump, continued. “Kohls. All these different places.”…

The Minnesota businessman pointed the finger at Sleeping Giants, a social media activist organization that has been pushing for companies to stop selling his product, and called the group “the most evil people on the planet.”

Sleeping Giants responded to the criticism on Twitter and confirmed that Bed Bath and Beyond had indeed pulled the pillow from shelves.

“CONFIRMED: @BedBathBeyond has dropped MyPillow in light of the CEO, Mike Lindell, playing a part in the insurrection last week,” Sleeping Giants tweeted….

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Lindell had received a letter from Dominion Voting Systems, the election technology company at the center of several election conspiracy theories, informing him that the company would take legal action if he continued to spread his belief that the election was stolen from Trump via their products.

“You have positioned yourself as a prominent leader of the ongoing misinformation campaign,” the letter said. “Litigation regarding these issues is imminent.”

Lindell was defiant in his response, telling the Washington Examiner that he is “going to keep fighting.”

“I’m going to keep going until the last little foot is trying to stomp me out,” he said.

Dominion Voting Systems, credibly accused by attorney Sidney Powell and others of providing voting machines that can be hacked and reprogrammed on a dime to provide whatever election results desired, is suing everybody who wants to discuss the mountains of evidence accumulated that the 2020 election was manipulated and stolen. It has joined the left in intimidation and suppression of conservatives and they are forbidding any discussion or debate. It’s as if the emperor was suing the individual who said he had no clothes.

The liberal tyrants want revenge and have a vast agenda of oppression and suppression in store for we cult members who need to be deprogrammed, reeducated, or made to pay for our thought crimes and support of trump. Are you now or have you ever been a conservative? Have you ever bought a pillow from Mike Lindell? Do you eat food made by Goya, whose Hispanic CEO praised and worked with Trump?

MSNBC anchor Nicole Wallace asserts that Republican and conservatives should only be allowed to speak the “truth” as determined by she and her ilk and should otherwise be monitored and censored:

During an interview with former Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes on MSNBC’s Inauguration coverage on Wednesday, host Nicolle Wallace discussed the dangers of “echo chambers” and said that it would be her policy “that a Republican must assert the truth before they’re allowed to share any other views.”

Echo chambers on the left are presumably okay. The Constitution was written to allow us to speak freely. Now we must ask permission to speak only what the left will allow us to say. Voltaire once said he may disagree with what you say, but he would defend to the death your right to say it. Needless to say, Voltaire was not vey “woke.”

For those who remember the thrilling days of yesteryear when the Obama/Biden administration used the IRS to target, harass and intimidate its political opponents like the Tea Party, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) wants to use the IRS to target the pro-Trump activist Charlie Kirk and his group, Turning Point USA:

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., has called on the head of the IRS to review the tax-exempt status of Turning Point USA, a dark-money organization led by pro-Trump activist Charlie Kirk.

In a letter Tuesday to IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig, Whitehouse said the 501(c)(3) nonprofit student group should have its tax-exempt status reviewed because he believes it broke Covid-regulations when it reportedly hosted two large events in Florida.

One of those gatherings, according to The Washington Post, was at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s private club.

Horrors! Antifa and BLM can riot in large numbers in Democratic-run cities, but anywhere two or more Trump supporters are gathered, the IRS should be there also? And don’t forget the FBI, which has its schedule clear now that Biden has been inaugurated and there’s no need to pursue phony dossiers and Trump-Russia collusion hoaxes. House Oversight Committee chair Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) wants the FBI to investigate Parler, the free speech social media alternative to Twitter that was knocked off the Internet by Amazon Web Services:

The head of the House oversight committee asked the FBI on Thursday to conduct a review of the social media platform Parler, which advertises itself as an alternative to more mainstream sites that have banned some far-right extremists.

The committee’s chair, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., wrote to FBI Director Chris Wray asking him to look at how Parler was used before and during the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol when pro-Trump extremists stormed the building as Congress was certifying the results of the presidential election.

“Numerous Parler users have been arrested and charged with threatening violence against elected officials or for their role in participating directly in the January 6 attacks,” Maloney wrote.

Except none of that was true. Nobody who was arrested for the Jan’6 storming of the Capitol used Parler to organize or communicate. Some made good use of Facebook and Twitter but don’t expect such posts by liberal loons to ever be identified, much less flagged, pulled down, or fact-checked. That’s only for conservatives who liberal media icon Katie Couric not only wants to see weeded out of broadcast news and social media but also wants to see “deprogrammed” from the Trump cult:

The big tech and media push to see conservative thought weeded out of all the spaces they control is marching forward one day before President-elect Joe Biden assumes office with a promise to “heal” and “unite” Americans.

During an appearance Friday on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” former CBS News anchor Katie Couric rebuked Republicans who failed to vote in favor of impeaching President Donald Trump and suggested the 74 million Americans who voted for the outgoing commander-in-chief need to be “deprogrammed.”

“The question is how are we going to really almost deprogram these people who have signed up for the cult of Trump?” Couric asked.

Well, how about taking their children away from them and putting them in actual reeducation camps akin to the internment camps the great liberal FDR did to Japanese-American citizens during World War II? PBS Attorney Michael Beller proposes doing just that in a video from the undercover investigative team at James O’Keefe’’s Project Veritas. As totalitarians throughout history have done, he proposes kidnapping the children and brainwashing them into liberal group think:

Elsewhere in the video, Beller shares his extreme views on what should be done with Trump’s supporters and their children.

“Even if Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters and Homeland Security will take away their children,” Beller says in the video. “And then we’ll put them into reeducation camps.”

As for their parents, their business careers and employment opportunities will disappear under liberal suppression and oppression. While Steve Forbes has been a strong supporter of Trump’s, endorsing in both 2016 and 2020, the fact is that Steve and the Forbes family no longer own Forbes the media company, which is calling for an enemies list to purge the  business world of anyone identified as a Trump supporter:

Corporate media and the Left aren’t satisfied with merely controlling the White House and both chambers of Congress in less than two weeks. They want revenge.

They also want to punish anyone who worked in the Trump administration and, to a lesser extent, the 45th president’s supporters.

On Thursday, in what was the most recent and possibly the most egregious example, Randall Lane, Forbes’ chief content officer, announced that Forbes Media was “holding those who lied for Trump accountable” in what he called “a truth reckoning.”

This is the leftist gulag Lane and his leftist loon allies would create and are creating as we speak:

As American democracy rebounds, we need to return to a standard of truth when it comes to how the government communicates with the governed. The easiest way to do that, from where I sit, is to create repercussions for those who don’t follow the civic norms. Trump’s lawyers lie gleefully to the press and public, but those lies, magically, almost never made it into briefs and arguments – contempt, perjury, and disbarment keep the professional standards high.

So what’s the parallel in the dark arts of communication? Simple: Don’t let the chronic liars cash in on their dishonesty. Press secretaries like Joe Lockhart, Ari Fleischer and Jay Carney, who left the White House with their reputations in various stages of intact, made millions taking their skills — and credibility — to corporate America. Trump’s liars don’t merit that same golden parachute. Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie. We’re going to scrutinize, double-check, investigate with the same skepticism we’d approach a Trump tweet.

Forbes proposes making an enemies list and checking it twice and see whose been naughty or nice in their relationship with Trump and his administration.

Groups with Forbes’ mindset are already scouring the public record and social media, compiling their own enemies lists. Expect “woke” businesses to be using such information when you go to get a business or student loan or mortgage or apply for a job.

So you say you were afraid of a Trump dictatorship? Sleep on it, just don’t sleep on a MyPillow.

Senate Republicans Endorse Biden’s Deep State Picks

By: Cliff Kincaid

In his column, “Clinton’s Brilliant Strategy,” Dennis Cuddy suggests that the fate of Donald J. Trump, going out of office under questionable circumstances, is a function of Hillary and Bill Clinton’s revenge.  He writes, “Bill Clinton and the Democrats correctly believed that with Trump’s political inexperience, he could as president easily be ‘set up.’” Trump was elected, he writes, because the GOP base, comprised mostly of the Tea Party and Christian Right, “were tired of promises by the Republican Establishment never being fulfilled.” They wanted an outsider – Trump. But this turned out to be Trump’s Achilles heel. He didn’t understand the forces out to get him.

The strange thing is that Senate Republicans seem eager to embrace these dangerous forces.

Cuddy, an astute observer, notes the Clintons’ involvement in the World Government movement. This is critical to understanding the direction of the Democratic Party and the media’s role in masking our fate.

You can find on my YouTube page a video entitled, “Hillary Clinton, Walter Cronkite, and World Government,” featuring Hillary Clinton and Walter Cronkite at a World Federalist Association meeting in1999. Cronkite, the former CBS Evening News anchorman, received the “Norman Cousins Global Governance Award.” Through a closed-circuit hookup, Hillary praised Cronkite for his promotion of a one-world government.

Cronkite’s association with the World Federalists had been known for years, but in the speech to the group he disclosed that he was asked decades ago to be a Washington lobbyist for the group. “I chose instead to continue in the world of journalism,” Cronkite said.

Bringing the picture up to date, with the “election” of Joe Biden, Cuddy goes on to point out that Democratic Party control of all branches of government (with the Supreme Court to be expanded and controlled as well) will allow Biden to implement his “New World Order.” I fought one aspect of this when Biden ran the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and tried to ram through the U.N.’s Law of the Sea Treaty. We were part of a coalition that stopped its passage.

The “Norman Cousins Global Governance Award” was also given to Clinton Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott, who, as a columnist for Time magazine, had written about a world in which nation-states would disappear and people would become world citizens. On that occasion, President Clinton sent a note to the gathering wishing them “future success.”

Biden’s open endorsement of a New World Order actually came in a Wall Street Journal article titled, “How I Learned to Love the New World Order.” He backed U.S. military intervention in the Balkan war, supported the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, voted for the war on Iraq in 2003, and, as vice president, backed the U.S. military intervention in Libya. We can expect greater use of U.S. forces for U.N. peacekeeping missions.

As researcher Trevor Loudon told me in an ASI TV interview and as he documents in his book White House Reds, Biden owes his political career to a group called the “Council for a Livable World.” It was started by alleged Soviet agent Leo Szilard. The Council was supported by money from Al Gore Sr., who in turn was funded by Soviet agent Armand Hammer.

All of this will now play a role in America’s future.

The Socialist International calls this a “New Horizon” for the United States, while columnist Bob Knight points out that, in an editorial, the Communist Party USA said that the Democrats’ total control may be temporary, so what they have to do in the next two years “is crucial.”

The World Economic Forum, one of many globalist groups committed to the “Great Reset,” calls this “the new global situation.” It says heads of state and government, chief executives, and leaders from civil society will convene under the theme of “A Crucial Year to Rebuild Trust.”

In true Orwellian fashion, that “trust” will be enforced through censorship and arrests of dissenters.

Rushing to accommodate Biden, Senate Republicans joined Democrats in confirming John Brennan loyalist Avril Haines as director of national intelligence by a vote of 84-10. She will play a crucial role in overseeing the 18 agencies that make up the U.S. Intelligence Community, at a cost of over $62 billion a year. Another $23.1 billion is spent on the Military Intelligence Program.

A partisan Democrat and member of the Deep State, Haines was on the advisory council and the Governance Board for a group called National Security Action, dedicated to “Building a strong, unified, progressive opposition to the Trump administration’s dangerous policies…” On September 10, 2020, it had sponsored a forum for “rising progressive voices” to “take on Trump’s failed approach and champion a progressive foreign policy vision for 2021 and beyond.”

A total of 36 Senate Republicans voted for her nomination. Only 10 Republican Senators voted against her: Blackburn (R-TN), Braun (R-IN), Cruz (R-TX), Ernst (R-IA), Hagerty (R-TN), Hawley (R-MO), Lee (R-UT), Marshall (R-KS), Paul (R-KY), and Risch (R-ID).

Ernest, a combat veteran and member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said she had “serious concerns over Ms. Haines’ strong support for the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal,” which largely benefited Iran.

Interestingly, Haines’ previous work included serving as a member of the “high-level simulation exercise for pandemic preparedness and response” sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that was held just a few months before the China virus was unleashed on the world.

In addition to being a former Deputy Director of the CIA, she served as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Geopolitics. This panel was designed to “offer intellectual support to the Forum’s work on the Great Reset initiative, particularly the pillar devoted to promoting global cooperation and revitalizing the multilateral system.”

Biden’s nominee as director of the CIA, William J. Burns, was a member of the same panel.

Strangely, Senator Marco Rubio, R-Fla., the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, worked to expedite a vote on someone who is widely expected to push for more power and authority for the United Nations as part of the “Great Reset.”

It appears that the Deep State has reaffirmed its control of both political parties, a fact that can only generate more hatred by the grassroots of the Republican establishment.
