Illegal Alien Driver Massacre in Louisiana

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

Massacre

Kristen Welker informed viewers of the NBC Nightly News that an “undocumented worker” was at fault in a terrible bus crash in Louisiana on August 28 that killed two people and injured 41 others. It is typical of the media to use that phrase when referring to illegal aliens. It is how the media try to condition people to accept their presence in the United States. After all, if these people are “workers,” they can’t be such terrible people. On the other hand, the word “alien” implies something foreign to the United States.

The Breitbart website, under fire from the liberal media and Hillary Clinton, was accurate, noting that “illegal alien” Denis Yasmir Amaya Rodriguez drove the private rental bus that crashed into a fire truck, two other vehicles and three firefighters.

By using the phrase “undocumented workers” over and over again, the media think that people will gradually change their views about the invasion of the United States through our southern border and become more accepting of the foreigners on American soil. This is how liberal brainwashing is designed to work over time.

The problem for the media is that, in this case, the terrible crash involved the deaths of two people and injuries to 41 others. Even using the sanitized term “undocumented worker” can’t paper over the serious nature of what happened.

A statement from the Louisiana State Police explained that emergency vehicles were attending to one crash when they were hit by the bus driven by the illegal alien. Victims included first responders. It said, “For reasons under investigation, the bus struck the left side of the fire truck that was angled in the right lane. The bus then struck the rear of a 2012 Toyota Camry, and the Camry was pushed into the rear of a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and flatbed trailer. After striking the rear of the Camry, the bus veered into the right lane between the Trooper unit and the Titan. It struck the three firefighters who were standing near the guardrail. The firefighters were thrown over the edge of the elevated interstate into the water below, approximately 30-40 feet. The Fire Chief, Spencer Chauvin, was transported to River Parishes Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.”

There is much more to the story, in terms of those who were injured, but what’s also critical is that the official police statement goes on to say that “The driver of the bus has been identified as 37 year old Denis Yasmir Amaya Rodriguez. Rodriguez is an illegal alien from Honduras and does not have a driver’s license.”

So the police, at least, still have enough integrity and honesty to use accurate terminology.

Rodriguez was charged with two counts of negligent homicide, reckless operation, negligent injuring and no driver’s license, and “additional criminal charges are forthcoming.”

Don’t look for any in-depth news reports on this illegal alien killing and injuring people in Louisiana. That might help the Trump campaign.

Many news media outlets, including CNN, used the phrase “undocumented immigrant” to describe the illegal alien.

ABC News called him an “unlicensed bus driver.” The Washington Post called him an “unlicensed party bus driver.”

The New Orleans Advocate reported that he had been pulled over by State Police on August 5 and cited for driving without a license. Yet he was on the road again, speeding down a highway.

A New York Daily News headline glossed over all of this saying, “Bus full of Louisiana flood workers crashes, killing 2, including fire chief, over 30 injured.” The number of injuries has since risen to 41.

The bus was full of flood workers, many of them also illegal aliens.

Katrina Pierson compares Trump’s Muslim ban to Obama’s false ‘keep your doctor’ promise

Hat Tip: The RightScoop

Katrina Pierson

Just wow… so, Katrina Pierson, Trump’s face to the public, had the nerve to actually compare Trump’s ban on Muslims to Obama’s ‘if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor’ lies. It’s all ‘suggestions’ and can be changed in an instant evidently. When I told you he would not keep his promises… he would not build the wall… that everything was negotiable… this is what I meant.

Some Advice from a Kiwi Cruz Supporter – how do we make the best of the Trump Disaster

By: Trevor Loudon | New Zeal

No sugar-coating it folks. Donald Trump’s victory over Senator Ted Cruz in the Republican primary is a disaster for the Republican Party,  the Republic and for what’s left of the free world. The question is – how do Constitutional Conservatives strategize to mitigate this “dumpster fire” in the short-term, salvage what we can of our movement and turn this catastrophe to our advantage in the longer term.

The first thing is DO NOT PANIC. Trump supporters are now flooding social media with enticements, olive branches, threats and abuse – all designed to get us signed up for the Trump Train. Their main argument is that we if don’t climb aboard, we are somehow endorsing Hillary Clinton.

I am equally terrified of a Clinton (or the backup Uncle Joe Biden/Pocahontas Warren ticket) victory. But blindly piling in behind Trump is not the best way to stop that. Also it surrenders, without a fight, the greatest power Constitutional Conservatives still have left – our bargaining power, our voting and financial leverage, and most importantly, the moral high ground.

I believe we need to work out how best to achieve several things.

They are in order of priority:

  1. Maximize the chances of the increased liberty, security and expansion of the free world (including my beloved New Zealand).
  2. Maximize the chances the the United States of America will survive and grow and prosper as a Constitutional Republic and the leader of an ever-expanding free world.
  3. Maximize the chances that the Constitutional Conservative movement will continue to grow and become the dominant political force in that Republic for many generations to come.
  4. Maximize the chances that the Republican Party can return to its Constitutional roots, or that a viable alternative force may replace it.
  5. Maximize the chances that our champion Ted Cruz will play a major role in that process. Preferably as the soonest possible two-term President of the United States.

Is that ambitious enough for you folks? Is that in line with your political values? Would these goals give your children and grandchildren the best possible shot at achieving the American Dream?

For those of us about to join the Libertarian Party, form a third party, or just stay home, I want you to consider one thing. We do not have the luxury of twenty years to turn this around. We don’t have 5 years. We may have as little as 6 months. Why do I say that? One word – AMNESTY.

Trump: Fighter jets aggressive because Russians ‘really dislike Obama’

“The repeated flights by the Sukhoi SU-24 warplanes, which also flew near the ship a day earlier, were so close they created wake in the water, with 11 passes, the official said.” – Business Insider

On Thursday evening, presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had an interesting exchange with Bret Baier of Special Report on Fox News. During the discussion, Trump declined to answer whether he ever met Vladimir Putin and observed that Russians “want to be friendly with the United States.” Trump also implied that he is softening his position on illegal immigration, telling Baier that “…we have to negotiate. We have to see…” when asked if his illegal immigration stance is likely going to be more “nuanced.”

Some highlights:

  • The revelation was made during the interview that “in a matter of weeks,” Donald Trump will be receiving classified briefings from the FBI and the CIA.
  • According to Trump, Ted Cruz’s dad Rafael said some “really terrible things” about Trump (he didn’t), which evidently prompted him to claim that Cruz’s dad was involved in the Kennedy assassination (which Trump previously told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that “of course” he does not believe).
  • Trump is getting used to his nickname for Hillary Clinton: “Crooked Hillary.”

WATCH: Donald Trump’s evolving position on Amnesty (video)

By: Renee Nal | New Zeal

Donald Trump’s amazing evolving positions on Amnesty are reminiscent of his amazing evolving positions on abortion, single payer health-care, the role of the government, federal land, and many other issues. While Trump uses the “Wall” as his “go-to applause line for sleepy crowds,” how does Trump really feel about Amnesty?

  • 1991: “Trump…overlooked the use of the undocumented workers, who put in 12-hour days, 7 days a week and in some cases even slept at the site.”
  • 2011: On O’Reilly, Trump said “you’re going to have to look at the individual people…” before making a decision. Here is the exchange:

TRUMP: I think right now you’re going to have to do something and, you know, it’s hard to generalize. But you’re going to have to look at the individual people. See how they’ve done. See how productive they have been. See what their references are and then make a decision.

O’REILLY: And then make a decision. All right, on case by case. It’s going to take a long time and a lot of people.

TRUMP: A long time, but, you know, you have some great productive people that came in.

American Spring – Bread and Circuses

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

George Soros

It was a hot time in the old town the other night in Chicago. Donald Trump was scheduled to speak at a rally there with thousands in attendance. That rally had to be cancelled because thousands of violent protesters showed up. Many had tickets to the event. The protest seems to have been organized by MoveOn.org, Bill Ayers and Code Pink. CPUSA, Illinois Coalition of Immigrant and Refugee Rights and ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) also had a hand in it. George Soros has invested approximately $15 million to stage protests like this one to ensure a Clinton victory in November. Troops on the ground included La Raza, the Black Lives Matter movement, the Nation of Islam and the New Black Panthers. It was a who’s who of anarchists, extremists, radicals and freaks. Trump never even arrived at the event. He told the attendees to disperse and go in peace. Unfortunately, it did not go down that way. The decision to cancel the event was Trump’s and was not a recommendation from the police. I say he made the right call on this one.

Bernie Sanders of course blamed Trump, which is just ridiculous. Donald Trump has a right to free speech. The protesters also have a right to protest, but peacefully. They weren’t doing that, so the police should have dispersed them. This is what Sanders had to say:

“As is the case virtually every day, Donald Trump is showing the American people that he is a pathological liar,” Sanders wrote. “Obviously, while I appreciate that we had supporters at Trump’s rally in Chicago, our campaign did not organize the protests. What caused the protests at Trump’s rally is a candidate that has promoted hatred and division against Latinos, Muslims, women, and people with disabilities, and his birther attacks against the legitimacy of President Obama. What caused the violence at Trump’s rally is a campaign whose words and actions have encouraged it on the part of his supporters.”

WATCH: Marco Rubio lies (again) about #Amnesty (video)

By: Renee Nal | New Zeal

Trump and Rubio speak during commercial break at GOP Debate via statesman.com

During Saturday’s GOP debate, Republican Presidential candidate Marco Rubio “made a demonstrably and provably false declaration” regarding his position on Obama’s executive amnesty, as reported at Breitbart. Actually, he made two completely false statements before he made the statement explored at Breitbart.

This is what Rubio said:

“I want immigration reform to pass, I want people to be able to come out of the shadows, and he [Cruz] proposed an amendment that would have legalized people here. Not only that, he proposed doubling the number of green cards. He proposed a 500% increase on guest workers. Now his position is different. Now, now he is a passionate opponent of all those things. So he either wasn’t telling the truth then, or he isn’t telling the truth now…”

2013 Flashback: Ted Cruz speaks out against ‘Gang of Eight’ bill (video)

Cruz on Gang of Eight bill June 2013

Cruz has been heavily slandered (repeatedly) on illegal immigration, despite the fact that he has been the most consistent on border security and amnesty. In this little-noticed video, Senator Ted Cruz speaks out against the lack of border protections in the Gang of Eight bill in 2013.

This video is worth watching just for the jaw-dropping figures he produces on the cost – including the human cost – of illegal immigration.
