Regarding Sharron Angle: I Got Angry the Other Day

By: Lloyd Marcus

Republican U.S. Senate candidate from Nevada, Sharron Angle, takes the stage at an election night rally in Las Vegas

Folks, I got angry the other day. Mary and I were on the road most of this year campaigning for Ted Cruz. We’re back home in Florida. My grass is over a foot tall, neighbors are still polite and my lawnmower won’t start. I dropped off the lawnmower for Darrell our mechanic to fix. But that is not what made me angry.

I got angry thinking about how insane policies mandated by government are becoming the norm in America. We are being forced to accept numerous insane things like allowing men, even dressed as men, to enter girl’s restrooms. http://fxn.ws/1T9GSb2 All of us folks whose common sense tells us that these government mandates are insane had better keep our mouths shut or be branded bigoted, mean-spirited, intolerant and haters; face prosecution and jail time.

I got angry thinking about how in the midst of surrendering more and more of our freedoms, conservatives are still being coached not to dare run true conservative candidates to stop the Democrats/Lefts insanity. Folks, I feel like that guy in the movie, “Network”. I want to run to my window, throw it open and yell, “I’m mad as heck and not gonna take it anymore.”

Our nation was founded upon patriots who were fed up. They said, “Screw it, we ain’t taking it anymore from the all powerful British.”

The American colonies were broken into two groups; the Loyalists and the Patriots. Patriots felt they were treated unfairly by British government; taxed without any say or representation. Patriots wanted to break free of British rule.

Loyalists behaved similar to battered spouses. Though treated unfairly, loyalists saw benefits in remaining British citizens, fearful of being totally on their own. Loyalists were also extremely afraid to go up against the mighty, seemingly unbeatable, British military.

Thank God there were courageous patriots, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, Ethan Allen, Patrick Henry, and Ben Franklin who refused to listen to cowardly gloom and doom loyalists.

We have fearful GOP loyalists today cautioning us to be reasonable, don’t make the Left really angry by pushing back too hard and don’t dare run real conservatives. Thank God that we have conservative patriot warrior candidates today like Sharron Angle, Rob Maness and Kelli Ward to name a few.

True rock-solid conservative Sharron Angle is running for US Senate, Nevada. Patriots we must get behind this courageous, laser focused on liberty patriot sister. If I hear another person on our side say a real-deal conservative can’t win, I am going to slap them. Well, not really. But for crying out loud folks, when do we start firmly supporting conservatives with proven records of loyalty, patriots with histories of putting it all on the line for us? When do we stand for what we believe to be right rather than surrendering to the Left’s seemingly unstoppable fundamental transformation of America?

Patriot and national conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin gets it and has endorsed Sharron Angle for US Senate. Levin said he realizes that Angle faces an uphill battle against all the forces against her, but he is sick of it (mad as heck, not taking it anymore). Levin’s and other endorsements are great, but not enough folks. www.runsharronangle.com We need patriots across America to rally behind our patriot sister; calling family and friends in Nevada, telling them to vote for Angle in the fast approaching June 14th primary. Early voting starts May 28th. www.runsharronangle.com

Sharron is seeking to defeat a RINO named Heck who voted with Pelosi and the democrats 62% of the time. Heck, Nevada’s so-called republican senator voted with democrats for gun control, to fully fund Obamacare and voted for amnesty. Well, what the “Heck” is the benefit of having a RINO, a democrat in disguise, in that seat? www.angleforsenate.com

Three items atop Sharron’s list of democrat insanity she will correct is to eliminate Nevada Obamacare exchange, require voter ID in Nevada and protect student privacy. www.angleforsenate.com

My fellow Americans, we find ourselves in a similar situation as did our Founding Fathers, choosing to side with fear-driven GOP loyalists or brave conservative patriots. Battered conservative GOP loyalists will go along with the status quo, allowing Heck, a RINO to represent them in the general.

Taking a cue from our courageous Founding Fathers, brave patriots will back the true conservative in the race, patriot sister, Sharron Angle. www.angleforsenate.com

Patriots, Meet Chris

By: Lloyd Marcus

Chris

Several young people were standing in line waiting to get into the Ted Cruz rally in Carson City, Nevada. I approached one of them. “Excuse me. Sanders attracts millennials. What made you choose Cruz?” Chris said he really likes Cruz’s respect for the Constitution. Chris went on to say he disagrees with Sanders’ free tuition proposal. Chris said he works and does not want government taking huge chunks of his money to pay for people who neither want or deserve to go to college. Chris has plans for college. He also said he is not looking for free stuff from the government.

Folks, talk about refreshing. My mind was filled with questions. How did Chris escape liberal indoctrination? Where was he educated? What does his parents do for a living? However, the line began moving as people filed into the hall.

Allowing liberal indoctrination to dominate public education and our culture has really infected the thinking of many Americans. According to a recent poll, almost 60% of Democrats think Socialism would be great for America. http://bit.ly/1UlOYlx Socialism is horse hockey folks; mediocrity spread equally. Real fairness, prosperity, individual liberty and true compassion resides in Capitalism. http://bit.ly/1oHgC0m

This is yet another reason why America desperately needs Ted Cruz; a bold true believer and outspoken advocate of Conservatism. http://bit.ly/1WIRell

Chris is a breath of fresh air; hope for our country’s future.

Cruz: We Cannot Let This Guy Get Away

By: Lloyd Marcus

Ted Cruz Nevada

My wife Mary and I are in Nevada with our Conservative Campaign Committee team campaigning for Ted Cruz. We awoke this morning to snow. Mary asked me to walk several blocks from our hotel to Walgreen’s to pick up a few things. With my headset plugged into my smart phone, I listened to Ted Cruz’s press conference during my trek.

Wow! Cruz’s brilliant bold performance at that press conference showcased why America desperately needs Ted Cruz in the White House. The MSM (Democrat operatives) tried to use Obama’s talking points to pressure Cruz and the GOP into allowing Obama to appoint a flaming liberal to the Supreme Court in his remaining months. Cruz did not fall for it. He firmly said no; not happening.

Cruz went on to say: “And I believe we should make 2016 a referendum on the US Supreme Court. If the Democrats want to jam in a liberal judicial activist to undermine the First Amendment, to undermine the Second Amendment, to take away our religious liberty, we should make that an issue for the American people.”

We should not confirm a justice nominee during an election year, particularly with a lawless president who has undermined the Constitution at every stage.”

Our First Day in Nevada for Cruz

By: Lloyd Marcus

Ted Cruz

Talk about hitting the ground running. Mary and my flight from Florida landed in Las Vegas at 8:30am. We jumped into an SUV with our Conservative Campaign Committee team and began traveling Nevada, waving “Ted Cruz” signs at busy intersections and highways in Henderson, Pahrump, Beatty, Tonopah and Mina.

I love our boots-on-the-ground campaigning adventures. I enjoy chatting with local volunteers; asking why they chose our candidate. I also like tasting local cuisine. During a campaign in Michigan, I had my first taste of Walleye; a great fish.

Our first sign wave was in Henderson, Nevada. Two women wearing “Ted Cruz” shirts joined our team to wave signs. They are in the gun/self-defense instruction business. Pistol-packin’ mommas, Lynne and Nancy, are strong Christian conservative women. In a nutshell, they are extremely disturbed by our country’s cultural rot and believe Cruz is the only candidate they totally trust to turn things around.

Voter Fraud: We See Dead People

By: Lloyd Marcus

It’s true folks. Patriot sister Sharron “Braveheart” Angle has taken on battling voter fraud; sounding the alarm that it is running rampant in America. What good is winning the hearts and minds of voters if we allow Democrats to steal elections?

Sharron suffered the devastation of election corruption when she almost defeated Harry Reid in 2010. Illegals voted for Harry Reid. http://bit.ly/20gXEOX There is evidence that Reid possibly stole the election from Sharron Angle using dead voters, people in prison and illegals. http://bit.ly/1JT2jiM

Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.” I suspect Sharron’s painful loss has made her a passionate crusader; committed to cleaning up the electoral process.

Remember the Black Panther Party thugs who stood outside the polls armed with clubs? Though charged with voter intimidation, Obama’s DOJ arrogantly and without apology outrageously dropped the charges because the perpetrators were black. Can you believe that folks? Meanwhile, Obama looks down his morally superior nose at us, proclaiming himself a defender of equal justice.

South Carolina’s attorney general found evidence that at least 900 dead people voted in an election. Philadelphia flagged 50,000 duplicate registrations. Voting machines are changing peoples’ votes. A voter was caught registering six times. Meanwhile, Democrats act outraged and seek to shackle and flog Republicans in the public square for suggesting that all Americans must show a photo ID to vote; claiming it is an evil racist Republican plot to disenfranchise black voters. Fearlessly, along with fighting voter fraud, Sharron has a Voter ID initiative. www.sharronangle.com

As an American who happens to be black, I am highly insulted. In essence, Democrats are saying it is too challenging for us poor inferior simpleminded blacks to find our way to the DMV or other places to acquire a photo ID. It frustrates me that fellow black Americans remain blind to the truth that Democrats consistently talk down to them. Presented as compassion and fairness, Democrats always seek to lower expectations and standards for blacks; inferring that we are inferior. But, I digress.

Sharron Angle is leading the charge to stop voter fraud, producing “Not On My Watch”, a 90 minute documentary scheduled for nationwide release in theaters June 2016. http://www.electioncorruption.com/ The documentary will show undeniable evidence of voter fraud and smart ways to stop it. I’m excited folks.

Angle believes her documentary will be an integral part of a win for Constitutional Conservatism in 2016. She believes it will inspire voters to go to the polls and vote and volunteer to be eyes on the process.

True-the-Vote plans to have 1,000,000 trained citizens as poll watchers in place across America on Election Day 2016.

Sharron’s documentary is a grassroots, We the People project folks. She needs your help to git-r-done. Please go to the website and do whatever you can. http://www.electioncorruption.com/

Sharron has an LLC to take big donations that will fund the completion of the documentary with returns on those investments of $20,000 or more.

2 out of 3 American voters are wisely concerned about the serious problem of voter fraud; Democrats stealing the 2016 presidential election. We simply cannot allow that to happen folks. Every America loving voter must proclaim, “Not on my watch!”

Freedom and the integrity of our electoral process are under siege, hanging in the balance. All-hands-on-deck folks. Please, please, please rally behind our brave sister Sharron Angle; leading an army of patriots on her white horse, her sword-of-faith held high in the air while yelling, “Freedom-m-m-m!!!”

This presidential election is about changing the ungodly course that our country is on; crucial to the survival of our founding father’s vision of America. We must not tolerant honest election vote counters saying, “We see dead people.” www.sharronangle.com

Fearless Faithful Crusader: Sharron “Braveheart” Angle

By: Lloyd Marcus

Sharron Angle

Around 2009, a Nevadan Christian woman state legislator was fed up. She was fed up with “politics as usual” and the “good old boy system.” But most of all, she was disgusted with the lack of “courage” in congress. After much prayer, Conservative Republican Sharron Angle stepped forward to take on Goliath, Sen Harry Reid, possibly the most insidiously evil, entrenched all powerful partisan politician in America. Angle vs Reid became the biggest race in the country.

Early in Sharron’s campaign, I was touring on Tea Party Express. Sharron spoke at our Nevada rallies. I had an opportunity to chat with Sharron. I thought, “Wow, this woman is truly one of us; a lover of God, family, country and freedom.” I chuckled to myself noticing the gleam in Sharron’s eyes as she shared more facts about her beloved state of Nevada than I needed to know; sounding like a proud momma. I thought, “Bless her heart, but this nice lady does not have a snowball’s chance of coming anywhere near defeating political behemoth Reid.” Man, was I wrong.

God gifted Sharron with a stone of “righteous intentions” which she loaded into her slingshot of faith. She began spinning it into the air above her head until it gained tremendous national force. In God’s name Sharon launched her stone like a missile at the arrogant head of Reid. Betrayals by the GOP, relentless MSM efforts to portray her unfavorably and Democrat dirty tricks pushed Reid’s head slightly out of the path of Sharon’s surprisingly powerful stone. To the amazement of experts, Sharron’s stone missed by inches.

A virtual unknown, Sharron Angle raised $30 million and came within 40,000 votes of toppling Reid.

And yes, Democrat dirty tricks, voter fraud, played in helping Reid to hold his seat. http://politi.co/1mYnG7I A Vegas hotel bellhop told me he and fellow union workers were strong-armed, picked up by buses and ordered to vote for Reid. A huge percentage of Vegas employees are illegals. We can only imagine the hanky-panky allowing many of them to illegally vote.

When Sharron’s valiant effort fell short, the MSM and GOP establishment immediately went into spin mode to assure that Sharron Angle, or any other true conservative, would never threaten their power again. Their narrative was “the loss” was Sharron’s fault. She was too much of this and not enough of that; a nut and a clown. Hogwash!

Folks, I hate it when conservatives join in the crucifixion of our courageous conservative heroes. Every real conservative freedom fighter gets kicked to the curb by many on our side; Sarah Palin, Chris McDaniel, Sharron Angle, even Ted Cruz and others. Too many folks on our side fall for the Left’s campaign to eliminate them from the battle forever by branding them toxic and unelectable.

I also reject the absurd expectation of conservatives that our candidates be only a little less perfect than Jesus. Meanwhile, the Democrats run gypsies, tramps and thieves; standing behind their candidates 100% no matter what irresponsible, hate-generating or stupid things they say.

Yes, I do believe as conservative we must espouse a higher standard. But for crying out loud, cut our candidates some slack as they battle outnumbered by lions in the arena on our behalf.

I recently learned that Sharron Angle, though battered and betrayed, has not retreated; retired to bake cookies. Under the MSM radar, this remarkably courageous freedom fighter is still fully engaged. Sharron is petitioning in three major battles; shut down the state’s ObamaCare exchange, voter ID (voter fraud) and student records privacy. http://www.sharronangle.com/

Particularly after the GOP’s latest heartbreaking betrayal voting for the give-Obama-everything-he-wants budget deal http://bit.ly/1Qxc601, patriots are pressing proven real-deal conservative leader Sharron Angle to run again.

Sharron’s courage and relentless focus on restoring liberty reminds me of the last scene of the movie Braveheart. With his last dying breath, freedom fighter William Wallace yelled, FREEDOM!!! http://bit.ly/1ihQMFW

I pray that Sharron “Braveheart” Angle will challenge GOP establishment darling Joe Heck, and then, Democrat Masto for Reid’s seat.

Forget Vegas, Nevada Is Now About Reno And Lithium

Nevada is booming as new lithium companies rush in to stake out targets and massive business development gets underway, from Tesla to Amazon and Apple. As the state’s southwest corner fills up with new lithium players, Tesla gears up for its battery gigafactory and the world’s largest data center sets up shop, Nevada is poised for one of the greatest economic revival stories of the century.

In an exclusive interview with Oilprice.com, Brian Findlay, President and CEO of Dajin Resources Corp., discusses:

• How Tesla’s gigafactory is sparking a massive resurgence in Nevada
• Why other giant businesses are setting up shop here
• Why Nevada is ground zero for the lithium boom
• Why Reno will be the New Las Vegas
• What it all means for economic development and job creation
• The rush to stake out lithium targets, and the big names that are interested
• The few options left to get in on this game
• Who got there first, and where it’s all going

Oilprice.com: The first thing that used to come to everyone’s mind with any mention of Nevada was Las Vegas and gambling. Today, however, we think of a lithium boom, of Tesla, and of economic recovery. Why is Nevada suddenly on everyone’s radar?

Brian Findlay: Particularly in the energy sector—but not exclusively—Nevada is one of the best places to be right now. The economic recovery that is going on here in Reno, but also statewide, is one of the best success stories of the decade. Not only is Tesla’s battery gigafactory creating an amazing resurgence, but other major factories are moving to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, which will house Switch, the world’s largest data center, along with some other huge names in the industry, including Amazon and Apple. The real estate market is on the upswing as a result of all of this activity, and this is only the beginning of the revival.

Oilprice.com: Can we get more specific about the impact from Tesla’s gigafactory?

Brian Findlay: First of all, this will be a fantastic market for job-seekers. This $5 billion factory will create some 9,000 jobs-and that’s based on figures from Nevada’s Office of Economic Development. Of those, the gigafactory will employ around 6,500 people directly when it’s up and running. Indirectly, we’re looking at the creation of over 16,000 new jobs. And because of the additional economic development the whole idea of the gigafactory has brought to Nevada, authorities in western Nevada estimate that Wahoe County, encompassing Reno and Sparks, will see 34,000 new jobs by 2019.

Oilprice.com: So on a larger scale, what kind of add-on economic development are we looking at?

Brian Findlay: On a much larger scale, it turns Reno into a significant attraction for other big businesses with expansion ambitions. In terms of economic development, it doesn’t get much bigger than this. Bloomberg estimates Tesla has already $800 million in battery reservations in the very first week of pre-order program, and this summer it tripled its land hold for the factory, adding another 2,000 acres to the 1,000 acres it originally scooped up. In fact, Bloomberg suggests that Tesla’s gigafactory is the biggest thing to happen to Nevada since the silver rush of the 1850s and the gaming boom centered on Las Vegas.

Oilprice.com: Year-on-year, what can we expect from this economic development? Where will this be in two decades?

Brian Findlay: There are all kinds of indicators out there—all of them impressive. One that really sticks out is the prognosis that Tesla’s gigafactory is expected to generate $97 billion economic activity in the Reno area alone over the next 20 years. But there are other immediate indicators that are also impressive, including the fact that Reno/Sparks housing prices are up 19 percent. The trickle-down effect has already been extensive, leading new business to flood into Reno, as I mentioned earlier. The Switch data center covers a massive 6.5 million square feet. When it’s completed, the 400 new permanent jobs it creates along with the 5,000 additional jobs for companies that use the data center’s services will add to the already burgeoning consumer purchasing power. This snowball-effect business development changes the game for Nevada entirely.

Oilprice.com: Ok, so why Nevada specifically? Why is this ground zero for Tesla’s gigafactory and the resulting economic development?

Brian Findlay: For Tesla, it’s all about Nevada because of the state’s lithium resources. It is no coincidence that Nevada is rich in lithium and that Tesla had stated that it wanted to source raw materials locally—not to mention that Nevada is the site of the only producing lithium mine in North America. But even more than this, Nevada is a mining-friendly state. The state’s authorities understand what is at stake here and the economic development prospects, which is why Tesla got a tax break.

Oilprice.com: How much lithium is Nevada sitting on?

Brian Findlay: Nevada’s lithium resources are second only to those in Chile, according to the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development. Beyond this, Nevada has a rich mining history. Not only is it ranked 1st in mining the U.S., but it’s 3rd in the world. It also accounts for 80 percent of total U.S. silver output. This unique lithium position has turned Nevada into a lithium hub, and companies are now racing to stake out potential targets. In fact, the south western Nevada lithium space has even recently attracted the attention of well-known investor and philanthropist Frank Giustra, who is not only a financier, but also the founder of LionsGate films and friends with Bill Clinton.

Oilprice.com: So we all know that lithium is what you would call an everyday mineral, but we tend to take it for granted. Why lithium? Why is it so important in this context?

Brian Findlay: Lithium is the key ingredient in batteries. It’s the preferred mineral for batteries because it has the highest electric output per unit weight. Supplies are thinning and demand—already attractive—is poised for a major spike. This new demand will be driven by grid storage, the ‘powerwall‘ and electric/hybrid vehicles. Just one of the planned battery gigafactories could need upwards of 15,000 tons of lithium carbonate right from the start—just to put the emerging demand picture into perspective. Beyond this, the demand for electric vehicles is growing based on environmental awareness, price and newfound convenience. Prices are now starting to reflect lithium’s rise, with one of the world’s largest producers, FMC, recently raising the price of lithium hydroxide across the board to $10,750 per ton. While other minerals are floundering in this market, lithium demand and prices remain strong.

Oilprice.com: While not directly related to lithium, do you have any comments on the ‘dieselgate‘ scandal involving VW’s alleged cheating on emissions standards, and how this might affect the electric/hybrid vehicle market?

Brian Findlay: Certainly this is another feather in lithium’s cap and it could indeed further the forward movement towards electric vehicles. Volkswagen will have to undergo a very costly reinvention and all companies are going to have to deal with emissions issues as consumers and lawmakers become more focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing climate change. This is good news for both lithium and the electric car industry.

Oilprice.com: Ok, let’s swing back to Nevada. What shifts have we already seen in the lithium sphere that further indicates where this is all going?

Brian Findlay: There has been a significant spill over effect so far. That the lithium race is on is most poignantly indicated by Albemarle’s acquisition for $6.2 billion of the Rockwood Lithium mine in western Nevada. Rockwood Lithium is North America’s only producing lithium mine, and it’s been in production since 1967. Another recent supply off-take agreement between a relatively small junior mining company and Tesla is also a strong indicator of where this is all going.

Oilprice.com: What does all this movement mean for junior lithium miners in general?

Brian Findlay: Listen, Western Nevada is now a hot bed of activity in the lithium sector, and the lithium-staking rush is moving ahead at full speed. Not only is this having a major impact on the local economy, but it’s making it much easier for smaller companies to raise exploration money. This, in turn, is helping junior companies to flourish into more significant companies, further creating new jobs and further boosting the economy. Joint ventures are happening, and they’re happening quickly.

Oilprice.com: How does Dajin Resources Corp. play into this lithium rush?

Brian Findlay: Dajin is a resource exploration company focused on the exploration and development of energy metal projects with strategically located brine-based lithium targets in Argentina and Nevada. Dajin has two 100 percent-owned projects in Nevada just a short distance from Albemarle’s Rockwood Lithium Mine.

Oilprice.com: Now that the target-staking is on in Nevada, how hard is it to break into lithium?

Brian Findlay: The bigger picture here is that in such a weak commodities market, there are only a few ways to get involved in the lithium space, and Dajin is ahead of many of the new exploration companies because it was one of the first to make inroads into Nevada. Dajin has been quietly acquiring strategic lithium properties and is well underway with its exploration program. At the end of the day, fueled by vision and foresight, Dajin has continued to advance while commodities have tumbled.

Lithium Market Set To Explode – All Eyes Are On Nevada

While other commodities are floundering or completely collapsing in this market, lithium—the critical mineral in the emerging battery gigafactory war—is poised to explode, and going forward Nevada is emerging as the front line in this pending American lithium boom.

Most of the world’s lithium comes from Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Australia and China, but American resources being developed by new entrants into this market have set up the state of Nevada to become the key venue and proving ground for game-changing trade in this everyday mineral. Nevada is about to get a boost first from Tesla’s (NASDAQ:TSLA) upcoming battery gigafactory, and then from all of its rivals.

For several years, experts have been predicting a lithium revolution, and while investors were being coy at first, the reality of the battery gigafactories is now clear, and nothing has hit this home more poignantly than Tesla’s recent supply agreements with lithium providers who will be the first beneficiaries of this boom, followed by a second round of lithium brine developers that are climbing quickly to the forefront.

As Jeb Handwerger—founder of Gold Stock Trades—recently told the Resource Investor: “This is just the beginning. We’re in the early stages of a revolution in powering transportation and homes. This really is disruptive technology. Annual growth in the battery space could be around 20 percent, which means that demand could double every five years. These batteries make smartphones, laptops, tablets, electric cars and even solar energy practical.”

Tesla—which will require large quantities of lithium at cheaper prices–has already signed agreements to purchase lithium from Canadian Bacanora Minerals Ltd and British Rare Earth Minerals Plc. in Mexico but has indicated that it is looking closer to home, and particularly in Nevada, which is ground zero for Tesla’s battery units.

For Nevada, there can be no more significant validation than Tesla’s lithium supply agreements. Albemarle Corp. already has the producing Rockwood mine, but Tesla and other gigafactory contenders are concerned about new lithium resources.

And the newest entrant on this scene—Dajin Resources Corp – has two projects in Nevada, only a short distance from Albemarle’s Rockwood producing mine and in close proximity to Pure Energy Mineral’s lithium development project, which just signed a preliminary supply agreement with Tesla.

Focused on the exploration of energy metal projects, Dajin has strategically located targets in Nevada, including over 3,800 acres in Alkali Lake, which is only 12 kilometers from the producing Rockwood Lithium Mine. It also has the Teels Marsh project, which covers over 3,000 acres in the Mineral County desert lake basin and is about 80 kilometers away from producing mines and new exploration targets that are all on the site of a volcanic eruption that many believe could have contributed lithium.

Where future supplies are concerned, investors will be looking closely at Dajin, which is 100% self-owned and operated. If it can post similar success in terms of exploring lithium brine, it could easily pop up as a favorite stock on investors’ radar.

And the brine is the place to be, putting Nevada at the front line of the North American lithium revolution at a time when other minerals are collapsing. The lithium, found in salty water, or brines, is the most cost-effective on the market; it’s cheap and easy to extract, giving competing battery gigafactories new, affordable American lithium resources that will be a global game-changer.

At the end of the day, Nevada has enough lithium brine to earn it a place among the key global venues—a list that for now includes the “Lithium Triangle” of Bolivia, Argentina and Chile, as well as China.

When it comes to lithium, “it’s all just talk if you don’t have an aquifer and a closed deep basin containing lithium,” says Dajin CEO Brian Findlay. “There aren’t many American properties out there like ours.”

Without lithium, there will be no battery gigafactories. In fact, one of these factories alone will need 15,000 tons of lithium carbonate a year just to get started—and the first is slated to come online as soon as next year.

Construction has already started on Tesla’s battery factory, where the assembly lines are expected to churn out enough lithium-ion batteries for 500,000 electric cars, according to Fortune magazine, and it should be operating at full capacity by 2020.

And the Tesla gigafactory is just the tip of this overall iceberg.

According to a report from the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research, more than one million electric vehicles will be on the road globally by the end of this year—that means a spike in lithium demand, which Roskill consulting and research predicts will more than double from 2012 to 2017.

Even more than hybrid cars, grid storage and the ‘powerwall’ will drive lithium demand through the roof. In an interview with Reuters, General Electric said it expected this sector to quadruple to $6 billion by 2020 thanks to rising demand for industrial battery systems driven by increasing reliance on intermittent energy sources, such as wind and solar power, as well as the potential to add energy to the grid quickly when power needs spike.

Now the game is all about new resources—and specifically, American resources, with all eyes on the brine. Tesla knows this, and so do its competitors. Investors who know this will get in on the game before these new entrants start producing.
