Big Names Headline the People’s Summit in Chicago – It’s a Who’s Who of Communists

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton | I Have The Truth

The commies have truly come out of the closet. The whole gang will be getting together in Chicago on June 9th thru the 11th. Bernie Sanders, Michael Moore, Danny Glover and Van Jones will be headlining the People’s Summit. Chicago is where the headquarters of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) is located. They are still labeling themselves as progressives, but anyone with two functioning brain cells knows these are devout communists… comrades in arms. Thousands will join them to plot taking back America from President Trump and the Republicans. It will be one giant war room.

This should be common knowledge now and come as no surprise to anyone. Van Jones has a long, violent history of being a Marxist. Don’t believe his protestations that he has reformed, he hasn’t. Bernie Sanders calls himself a socialist… in reality, he’s a communist and the current healthcare plan he is presenting to Trump should prove that. He is pushing single payer healthcare. Michael Moore is a Marxist film producer and the editor of The Nation. And Danny Glover never met a communist or dictator he didn’t love.

From PolitiStick:

Soviet-style socialist Bernie Sanders, along with fellow radical communist and CNN commentator Van Jones, Marxist film producer Michael Moore, and Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez-loving stooge and actor Danny Glover will be headlining the upcoming “People’s Summit” to be held from June 9 to 11 in Chicago, the headquarters of the Communist Party USA.

Calling themselves the politically correct term “progressives” instead of the anti-American, anti-freedom communists that they are, the above communist leaders will join thousands of other totalitarians who are hellbent to fundamentally transform America into North Korea or Venezuela.

Groups sponsoring the event include a laundry list of George Soros-funded communist front groups who are butthurt that corrupt and untrustworthy Hillary Clinton was not elected to continue Obama’s lurch to the left.

Among the “convening organizations” listed on the group’s website, include the following: National Nurses United, People’s Action, United Students Against Sweatshops, People for Bernie, Our Revolution, United Electrical Workers, Color of Change, Progressive Democrats of America, Democratic Socialists of America, and Presente.

Many of the groups attending are funded by that old spider George Soros. Mark Svart, national director of the Democratic Socialists of America, had this to say: “President Trump exploited long-standing racial divisions between working people to gain power, when we know he’s packed his cabinet with the same characters who rigged the economy. We all need to team up and fight back, and pro-corporate Democrats aren’t doing that effectively. Democratic socialists know that defeating neo-liberalism is a necessary part of defeating Trump’s right-wing populist agenda and defending democracy itself. The People’s Summit helps us make the alliances we need against capitalism at its worst.” They are terrified that Trump will undo the progress they’ve made in turning America into a communist hellhole like North Korea, Venezuela or Cuba.

If you want to hear the sentiment from these jackals, take a listen to Nina Turner, a former Ohio state senator and a vocal communist supporter of Sanders during the Democrat presidential primary: “There is no force more powerful than a community on the move for justice. We will protest, we will plan and we will preserve in the building of political power from the ground up. This is our moment.” And they really, really believe it. They are saying go, go, go! That is why you see chaos and violence exploding in our streets now.

This is going to be a who’s who of radicals. Others attending include Shaun King, Frances Fox Piven and Palestinian Linda Sarsour. You’ve got proponents of Saul Alinsky, the Muslim Brotherhood and one of the founders of Cloward and Piven. Sounds like the party from hell to me.

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the US. It is one of two official US affiliates of the Socialist International. It was formed in 1982 from a merger of the Michael Harrington led Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee and the smaller New American Movement. DSA publishes a quarterly journal, the Democratic Left. While claiming to be socialist, Democratic Socialists of America is a Marxist organization, that draws heavily from the ideas of the late Italian Communist Party theoretician Antonio Gramsci. This is the true face of the left. The People’s Summit is an event organized and promoted by the CPUSA and those attending it are communists… pretty much the entire Democratic Party these days. And definitely the enemies within.

Stealth Socialist Billy Hinton Stands for Oklahoma State Representative

By: Trevor Loudon | New Zeal

Billy Hinton

Billy Hinton

Even the “Sooner” state  has its socialists and one of them – Billy Hinton – is standing under Democratic Party cover for District 32 of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

While Hinton is a long shot run, Oklahomans should be concerned that their Democratic Party is being covertly infiltrated by stealth Marxists.

A retired airline captain, Billy Hinton appears to be just another “good ole boy,” but the group to whom he owes loyalty to is anything but pro-American.

mmddffj

Democratic Socialists of America is America’s largest socialist organization, with about 7,000 members nationwide, including a newly established local in Oklahoma City. Despite its comparatively innocuous sounding name, DSA is a communist organization, taking its cues from the “revolution through infiltration” tactics of Italian Communist Party theorist Antonio Gramsci. The organization believes in “open borders,” complete government control of all private businesses, higher taxes, more regulation, increased refugee re-settlement, “global warming,” the complete LGBTQ agenda, Black Lives Matter, the destruction of the First and Second Amendments, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

gromp-1

There is no doubt that Billy Hinton is a DSA member. It says so right on the group’s website. It’s apparently just not meant for public consumption. Certainly Hinton doesn’t seem to advertise his Marxist loyalties in any of his campaign materials or broadcasts.

Nnhhhggggg

Other members of the 23 strong OKC DSA local include:

  • Amy Reigler-Hinton, Billy Hinton’s wife
  • Danny Castle, who is currently studying to be a deacon for the “Sacred Well Congregation of Texas, a Wiccan organization that provides clerical training in Traditional Craft Wicca
  • Leo Loveless, a gay rights activist who is currently transitioning from female to male
  • John Karlin, a retired professor of Sociology and Administration of Justice
  • Dwight Welch, Pastor at United Church of Norman
  • Mark Maxey, the OKC DSA chairman and a worker on Billy Hinton’s state representative campaign
Billy Hinton and Mark Maxey working on the campaign

Billy Hinton and Mark Maxey working on the campaign

If by some miracle Billy Hinton is able to defeat his Republican opponent, what can Oklahomans expect from their new stealth socialist state rep.?

You can bet it won’t be strict adherence to the US Constitution.

Try more taxes, more public spending, more gay rights, more “diversity,” more regulation on business, more “progressive” education, more socialism dressed up as “progressive” Democratic policy.

If Billy Hinton stood openly as what he is, a Marxist socialist, he would get laughed out of the District. So instead he is posing as a Democrat. He might even be your next state representative. If not now, at some time in the future. If he is not exposed now he might one day be a County Commissioner or a Congressman. If not him, then one of his comrades. Several serving Congress-members have been secret DSA comrades, including Danny Davis, Jan Schakowsky of Illinois and Jerry Nadler of New York. Don’t let these people turn  your Red State Blue.

Oklahomans, you have a covert socialist in your midst. Please circulate this information to expose him.

Trump Seen as Vehicle to Destroy GOP

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

Trump

While showing an image of Donald Trump as a wrecking ball, veteran leftist operative Webster Tarpley told the recent Left Forum in New York City, “If we play this right, he can destroy the Republican Party.” The comments, delivered at the major left-wing gathering of the year, reflect the belief among “progressive” activists that the Donald J. Trump candidacy can be used to destroy the Republican Party and usher in a major period of Democratic Party rule, under the increasing influence of an openly socialist faction.

“This party must be destroyed,” Tarpley said, referring to the Republicans.

Tarpley’s analysis of the political scene takes on additional significance as we see evidence of communists and Mexican nationals protesting outside Trump rallies and assaulting Trump supporters. Tarpley’s audience was the Left Forum, which is described as “the largest annual conference of a broad spectrum of left and progressive intellectuals, activists, academics, organizations and the interested public.” The theme for this year’s event was “Rage, Rebellion, Revolution: Organizing Our Power.”

Those participating included the Democratic Socialists of America (which supported Barack Obama and now Bernie Sanders), the Southern Poverty Law Center, representatives of the governments of Cuba and Venezuela, the “Exonerate Ethel Rosenberg” campaign, CodePink, the Palestine Solidarity Committee, the Workers World Party, the Trans Queer Liberation Movement, and the Greek Communist Party.

A former operative in the movement led by Lyndon H. LaRouche, an aging Marxist ideologue who served time in prison on fraud charges, Tarpley is viewed by the left as an expert on the class struggle that defines the evolution of the American political system. He has been a prominent figure in the so-called 9/11 Truth Movement, which blames unnamed U.S. officials for carrying out the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. He is today associated with the Tax Wall Street Party, a group backing the Sanders proposal to raise taxes on financial transactions in order to finance a socialist super state.

Drawing on historical sources and stories about turmoil in the Trump campaign and the GOP, Tarpley predicted that Trump’s candidacy will divide the Republicans and result in one of its factions merely surviving as a regional party based in the Deep South, rural areas, and the intermountain West. However, he said the party itself has become so dependent on “aging white men,” a shrinking percentage of the electorate, that it may be “demographically doomed” in the long term.

Tarpley, who thinks Sanders has not gone far enough to the left, believes opposing Trump and calling him a fascist is a smart organizing tactic by the left. In his talk, “Destroy the GOP—Split the Dems,” Tarpley describes the Sanders campaign and associated groups as “New Deal Democrats,” as opposed to the “Wall Street Democrats” backing Hillary Clinton. Eventually, if everything goes according to plan, the Sanders wing of the Democratic Party will take control in a “progressive realignment,” and a “new progressive coalition” could emerge and dominate American politics for decades.

“Trump is the trigger” for this dramatic series of developments, he told the leftist conference, and it means the Republican Party could go “extinct,” since it is perceived as being hostile to the new immigrants who have flooded into the country. He is predicting a complete political realignment for the period 2016 to 2046.

However, left unsaid in his presentation is whether after Mrs. Clinton is presumably done with her first term as president, she could be challenged for another term by the Sanders wing of the party, possibly represented at that time by Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).

But the idea that Warren is somehow against the interests of Wall Street and finance capital is, of course, complete nonsense. She ran for the Senate with the support of hedge fund billionaire George Soros and other big money liberals.

While Tarpley is not a supporter of Mrs. Clinton or President Obama, he gives Obama, a skilled Marxist-trained operative, enormous credit for assembling a winning coalition in the presidential campaigns of 2008 and 2012. He explained, “2008 was a watershed election, and in retrospect that will become more obvious than it is now.” He said Obama had ushered in “a new phase” of politics that has put tremendous pressure on the Republican Party to generate support from enough of the electorate to survive as a national political entity.

“That future is what you have to keep your eyes on,” he emphasized. “That’s where you have to get. It means a crushing defeat for Trump, if we can do it.”

At the same time, Tarpley acknowledged that Trump supporters have “legitimate economic beefs,” based on the declining standard of living, and the fact that “deindustrialization” has harmed the middle class by destroying millions of factory jobs. But the Republican ideology is “in crisis,” as factions of the party disagree over the benefits of free trade and solutions to other economic problems. Other major Republican donors have libertarian tendencies that threaten the GOP coalition as well, he stated.

While the demise of the Republican Party may seem like wishful thinking, Tarpley outlined a political scenario that is plausible to outside experts and which could mean that the GOP would meet the fate of other political parties in American history—such as the Federalists, Whigs, and Know-Nothings — “by breaking apart” and losing the presidency, the Congress, and the Supreme Court in the process.

Tarpley’s predictions about Trump’s negative impact on the Republican Party came just a few weeks before Trump unleashed a series of attacks on a “Mexican” judge, who was actually born in the United States, prompting more concern from current and former Republican officials that the Trump presidential campaign could jeopardize Republicans prospects in November.

The destruction of the GOP also means the defeat of what Tarpley called the “neocon warmongers,” defined as those who favor U.S. military intervention against radical regimes and terrorist groups in the Middle East.

Continuing the pro-Russian bent that has long characterized the LaRouche movement, Tarpley favors the destruction of NATO. He was a speaker at the “No to War, No to NATO,” conference in Rome, Italy, which also included a representative of the old Soviet front, the U.S. Peace Council. Tarpley then participated in a forum on “good relations with the Russian Federation” held in St. Petersburg, Russia.

While Trump has been critical of U.S. military intervention in the Middle East and has questioned the need for NATO, a one-time anti-Soviet alliance, these positions were not of any interest or concern to Tarpley. Instead, Trump was viewed as an opportunity to divide and weaken the Republican Party.

With the Republican Party out of the way, the activists making up the Left Forum would be able to consolidate their power in the Democratic Party and move it even further to the left, in terms of more socialism at home and more accommodation of “anti-imperialist” and “anti-capitalist” forces abroad.

Justice Scalia Found Dead Days After Supremes Block Global Climate Agenda

By: Dan Lyman | Western Free Press

Antonin Scalia

The most conservative, Constitutionally-adherent Supreme Court Justice has passed away, in his sleep, after a night of celebratory festivities, during a hunting trip in West Texas. He was pronounced dead of natural cases, over the phone, by a justice of the peace, who had not seen or examined Atonin Scalia, and who deemed that an autopsy was unnecessary. His body was raced to an El Paso funeral home and immediately embalmed.

Let’s be purely objective: at 79-years-old, he was the longest-serving Justice. He was overweight. It is being reported that he died of a heart attack. Or ‘natural causes.’ They stillhaven’t officially decided. But, of course – no autopsy needed.

Let’s also not be complacently naive: Scalia was the Supreme Court’s staunchest opponent to the progressive agenda. He demolished last summer’s gay marriage ruling in a scathing 9-page dissent, admonishing the court for trampling individual states’ rights and its non-representative make-up, stating –

The US Senate Must Hold the Line

By Frank Salvato

With the passing of US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia we stand at a very sober moment for our nation, a moment that finds the US Constitution – and the idea of constitutionality in general – in a very fragile state. With the make-up of the US Supreme Court existing on a razor’s edge between the conflicting ideologies of Progressivism (which views the Constitution as malleable) and Constitutionalism (which sees the document at a limitation on government) what happens in the next months will serve to chart the course for our country. The two paths couldn’t be more different: one a pathway to national demise.

I am want to recall a passage from a speech that Ronald Reagan gave in 1964:

“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”

Today, with the passing of Justice Scalia, the Republican and Conservative members of the United States Senate have met up with their own “rendezvous with destiny.” They will soon be presented with a nominee to the US Supreme Court from President Obama, a Far-Left Progressive who has already seated two political activists to the Court. It will be the Senate’s duty – not their option, but their duty – to deny Mr. Obama another Progressive seat on the US Supreme Court.

Progressives by their very nature believe that the US Constitution is a flawed document; something to be improved, perfected and otherwise titrated to the needs of the times. That is anathema to what the Framers intended and history bears that out. The Framers intended for the US Constitution to be the “chains” that binds government to the service of the nation, not the service to the ideological and/or the few.

And the Progressives Laughed

By: Frank Salvato

Progressives Laugh

Whether you believe that there were nefarious motives behind the advancement of inaccurate information about the Carson campaign by Cruz ground operatives in Iowa or not, one thing is certain, true and undeniable. The leading candidates for the Republican Party’s nomination for President of the United States are feeding on each other. By doing so, they have effectively created an “emotional division” between the voters of the Right. To prove this out all one has to do is spend some time on social media threads related to the topic. Phrases like “Cruz haters,” “Carson’s a whiner” and “Trump is an idiot” are myriad. So, too, is the Conservative rank-and-file’s sudden acceptance of CNN as a credible, non-biased news source.

This election cycle the best that the Democrats can offer is a throwback hippie Socialist and the most disingenuous and opportunistic politician in recent history. The prospects of one of these improbably political creatures reaching the White House relies exclusively on the Republicans finding a way to shoot themselves in the foot; damaging each other so extensively in the primaries that the bleeding continues into the General Election. On the heels of eight years of Progressive rule and their disastrous policies for our economy and national security; in light of myriad scandals and a possible indictment hounding the DNC frontrunner, Republicans should have been able to nominate a potato chip and won in November.

Enter the politics of division. Enter opportunistic political tactics ala the Chicago machine. Enter the type of politics that each and every one of the Republican candidates says they abhor; that each says they will excommunicate from the lexicon of American politics should they be elected to the presidency.

And the Progressives and Democrats, their jaws on the ground, laughed in astonishment. Republicans and Conservatives fell for it again.

There was a reason that Ronald Reagan advanced the idea of the “Eleventh Commandment.” This political edict, originally attributed to California Republican Party Chairman Gaylord Parkinson, stated: “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

This is what is so incredibly frustrating for aware rank-and-file Republicans. For all the homage that Republicans – candidates, operative and voters – pay to the Reagan Legacy, one point they routinely ignore, and perhaps the most important, especially in presidential primary politics – is the Eleventh Commandment.

Today, as I write this, the top four candidates for the Republican nomination are not talking about their policies, ideologies or agendas; they are talking about personalities, intra-party political tactics and playing the victim/blame game while dividing the electorate on the Right side of the aisle. As Bernie Sanders continues to make inroads with intellectually vacuous voters, and Hillary Clinton continues to spin in an attempt to escape her self-imposed death spiral, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ben Carson are ensnared in the media web, finding themselves fodder for the “pundocracy” and the “all hail the ratings” 24/7 news cycle. It conjures up images of the tribute talk show in The Hunger Games.

And the Progressives and Democrats are looking at each other, scratching their heads, and asking, “Are they really doing this?”

Today, as I write this, supporters of Cruz, Trump, Rubio and Carson, are engaged in heated debates – some caustically overt – with their Conservative brethren. While Carson supporters seek validation in their complaint that assumptive information was issued by CNN and then super-charged and advanced by political operatives unfriendly to the Carson campaign, Cruz supporters abdicate any and all responsibility for their camp’s actions, instead citing the original CNN report as the culprit. Trump and his followers are screaming “fraud” and Rubio supporters – the flames fanned by Karl Rove – are wondering if the numbers would have been different if the episode never would have occurred. In the end, all of this has fomented discontent and created a divide among the Conservative and Republican electorate.

Additionally, and perhaps most disturbing, is that all of this is occurring over a report from CNN, not the most friendly to Conservatives and Republicans, and certainly a news outlet which has been embarrassed by inaccurate reporting in the past. From the Boston bombing to previous presidential elections, CNN isn’t the benchmark for breaking news accuracy. Yet today’s driving forces in Conservative and Republican politics run with CNN’s reporting without verifying the information as fact? Really? Any credible (read: successful) political campaign establishes backchannel communications with opposition campaigns to verify just such things. It’s “Politics 101.”

Meanwhile the Progressives and Democrats sit back in amazement at how fickle Republicans and Conservatives are; that they would dispose of Reagan’s edict to wallow in mire that is the cable news rating game; that rank-and-file Republicans and Conservatives would turn on each other like jackals to insist they their version of events it the truth and the only truth and anything else is a lie.

Here are two facts that cannot be denied; facts that will serve to reunite the Right after this embarrassing turn of events:

  • Both Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio were elected to the Senate as TEA Party nominees. They are both constitutional conservatives and they both believe in limited government and the many necessary reforms.
  • Ben Carson, not too long ago, was courted by the entirety of the Right to run for office because he had the intestinal fortitude to standup to Pres. Obama in public and to his face.

It is time that each candidate comes clean to the public about their trip-up into status quo politics; that they rededicate themselves to the idea that “business as usual” politics is bad for the country. It is also time for each candidate’s supporters to stop demonizing those who don’t agree with them – especially on this issue – as “haters” and “whiners” (we are, after all, on the same side in the end).

It is time to start talking about the issues, policies and agendas each candidate will bring to a presidency. It is time to start running against the DNC’s prospective nominees – one a Socialist and one on the verge of indictment. It is time to verify facts before we espouse them as truths.

It is time to save our country from ruin. And we can’t do that if we are at each other’s throats.

In New York, McCoy worked for the party on the city council, the state legislature campaign races and on the 2004 and 208 Presidential Elections. In July of 2004, activists from across the country joined activists in Missouri to defeat George W. Bush. The Communist Party USA and the Young Communist League members, alongside friends and allies from Texas, California, New York and everywhere in between, have been plugged into local political battles.

The goal of the CPUSA’s Midwest Project was to “defeat Bush and the ultra-right in America’s heartland.” Central to the Missouri “part of the Midwest Project is helping to elect progressive, pro-labor candidates. Strengthening grassroots coalitions and building a broader movement to defeat Bush is tied directly into the efforts to build the Party and YCL.”

Sheltreese McCoy was a supporter of the late “progressive” Democratic Party Ohio Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones – even forgiving her for supporting Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama.

It’s rare that a national figure has a deep impact on your life but I can say that I have had one, Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She was my congressperson in Ohio, and I looked up to her as you would a president or an astronaut. I wanted to do the good things she did in Ohio, and I wanted to stand up to the corporate interest that plagued the Ghetto I lived in because she did.
when I was a junior in College I went on to intern in Washington and I got to meet her in person, I wrote my final internship thesis on her and her amazing accomplishments and even remember the advice she gave me to “run for Precinct Captain.” There are few prouder moments for myself and my mother when the picture I took with her got sent to my mother’s house, signed and everything…
I didn’t agree with you when you supported Hillary for histories sake, versus supporting the new start up with the twinkle in his eye, but I forgave you…I had to because I could not through your history out with the bath water, and I could not forget that you were by far the most powerful woman I had ever come in contact with.

After 2008, McCoy “turned her focus to youth and student organizing around issues of employment, access to education and international solidarity.”

Progressive scrooges almost squashed the holiday classic: ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

By: Renee Nal
New Zeal

wonderful-life_253363s

The beloved holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” was released in 1946. Despite it’s popularity today, it did not fare well at the box office, and it was given poor reviews by cynical movie critics at the time.

Jimmy Stewart said that out of all the movies he had made, “It’s a Wonderful Life” was his favorite. The Director, Frank Capra described the film’s theme as “the individual’s belief in himself” and explained further that he made it “to combat a modern trend toward atheism.”

But in the case of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” something magical happened almost 30 years after the movie was released. Because of a “clerical error” in 1974, the film’s copyright was mistakenly not renewed. Television stations were able to air the film at no cost.

So they did, and Americans fell in love.

The mainstream media’s disdain for anything wholesome and family oriented is not a new phenomenon. One critic decried the “sentimentality” of the movie.

Bosley Crowther from the New York Times concluded,

“the weakness of this picture, from this reviewer’s point of view, is the sentimentality of  its illusory concept of life. Mr. Capra’s nice people are charming, his small town is a quite beguiling place and his pattern for solving problems is most optimistic and facile. But somehow they all resemble theatrical attitudes rather than average realities.”

In 1947, film critic Manny Farber wrote,

“To make his points [Capra] always takes an easy, simple-minded path that doesn’t give much credit to the intelligence of the audience”, and adds that there are only a “few unsentimental moments here and there.”

In a 2010 ”Salon.com” piece, Richard Cohen described ”It’s a Wonderful Life” as “the most terrifying Hollywood film ever made“; in the “Pottersville” sequence, he wrote, George is not “seeing the world that would exist had he never been born“, but rather “the world as it does exist, in his time and also in our own.

Ah, the cynical critics have not changed. How many other potential classics were squashed?

Of the newfound success of the film, Frank Capra said,

“It’s the damnedest thing I’ve ever seen.”
