Cruz Nails It… Revoke Citizenship of Americans Who Join ISIS

I simply adore Ted Cruz. He’s absolutely right here. If an American citizen tries to join ISIS or any other terrorist group, they should have their citizenship stripped. That means for those who go overseas to wage Jihad, the door will no longer be open to them to return here. And before the left starts screeching over this, Hillary Clinton supported very similar legislation. Cruz supports President Trump’s embattled plan to temporarily ban refugees from seven Middle Eastern countries. So do I. He just thinks it only addresses half the problem and he has a point. We don’t want trained, battle hardened Jihadists returning to the US after going on a killing spree.

When previous versions of this bill were submitted, some civil libertarians threw a fit. They claim it would give the federal government expanded powers to revoke citizenship without due process. That’s rich considering they never decried Obama’s extension of federal powers. Under Cruz’s bill, anyone who lost their citizenship over alleged terrorist ties would have 60 days to request a due process hearing to challenge the decision. “The awesome and horrible power of being able to take away the citizenship of an American citizen would be turned over to an unnamed bureaucrat,” claimed Christopher Anders, senior legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union’s Washington legislative office. It is not unconstitutional and I contend it would indeed stand if it went to the Supreme Court.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is renewing a push for Congress to pass legislation that would revoke the citizenship of any American who tries to join the Islamic State or other terrorist groups.

Cruz thinks that banning people from terrorist-stricken countries from entering the U.S. only deals with half of the problem, and that the federal government also needs to worry about U.S. citizens who may try the same thing.

“If an American citizen travels abroad and joins a terrorist group waging jihad on America, attempting to murder innocent Americans, this legislation would strip that individual of their U.S. citizenship, so that we would not have terrorists returning to America using U.S. passports,” Cruz told the Washington Examiner.

Hundreds of Americans have tried to join the Islamic State in recent years, according to Cruz. He said another 124 U.S. citizens or green card holders have traveled overseas to join other jihadist groups in the years since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. “This should be an idea that even Senate Democrats can support given that Hillary Clinton, when she was in the Senate, supported very similar legislation,” he said.

Ted Cruz steadfastly stands by his bill. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa has introduced it for consideration. Cruz says it uses the same process to revoke citizenship from terrorists that the government has used since 1926 to revoke citizenship from Americans who join foreign armies at war with the United States. That’s exactly right. “This legislation is a common sense step to recognize that people can [wage] war against America in more ways than one,” he said. “You don’t need to be a member of a nation-state military to be a terrorist at war with America.”

There is a good chance that the bill will pass in Congress considering the Trump administration’s agreement with its pretext. Additionally, a former Cruz staffer, Victoria Coates, now works for the White House National Security Council. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota in the House joins Senator Cruz in support for the bill. It is entitled the Expatriate Terrorists Act. Meanwhile, in the House of Representatives, Republicans Bachmann and Ted Poe of Texas also introduced bills that call for the United States to revoke the passports of Americans involved with groups like ISIS.

Bachmann puts it perfectly: “Those who have joined a foreign terrorist organization have taken up arms against the United States and our very way of life. By turning against their country, their passports should be revoked and if they’re naturalized citizens, they should lose their citizenship.”

Cruz and Poe Introduce Legislation for States to Reject Refugees

There is some additional help coming from the Trump administration as President Trump is likely to issue and sign executive order on immigration that will impact visa holders from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. These are worn torn countries where hostilities continue with terror organizations. An issue that still remains however that Trump has not addressed is the asylum seekers.

S. 2363 (114th): State Refugee Security Act of 2015

A bill to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to permit the Governor of a State to reject the resettlement of a refugee in that State unless there is adequate assurance that the alien does not present a security risk and for other purposes. The 2 page text is here.

New bill from Cruz, Poe would let states reject refugees

WT: Republicans in the House and Senate have introduced legislation that would give governors the power to reject federal efforts to resettle refugees in their states.

The bill from Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Ted Poe, both of Texas, is a reaction to years of growing GOP frustration with the Obama administration’s aggressive effort to take in refugees and resettle them across the country. Republicans continue to have doubts that refugees can be vetted to ensure they aren’t Islamic State terrorists.

The State Refugee Security Act would require the federal government to notify states at least 21 days before they seek to settle a refugee. Under the bill, if a state governor certifies that the federal government hasn’t offered enough assurances that the refugee does not pose a security risk, the state can block the resettlement effort.

Poe said the Obama administration’s “open door policy” has forced states to take on refugees without these guarantees, and said states need a way to opt out.

“Until the federal government can conduct thorough security screenings and confirm that there are no security risks, Congress should empower states to be able to protect their citizens by refusing to participate in this program,” he said.

Cruz said the first obligation of the president is to keep Americans safe, and said the bill would be a step in that direction.

“I am encouraged that, unlike the previous administration, one of President Trump‘s top priorities is to defeat radical Islamic terrorism,” he said. “To augment the efforts of the new administration, this legislation I have introduced will reinforce the authority of the states and governors to keep their citizens safe.”

The Trump White House also has not addressed the issue of criminal deportation of foreign nationals. Each foreign inmate is known to cost the taxpayer an estimated $21,000 per year. Enforcement and removal operations of those illegal foreign nationals now falls to the newly confirmed DHS Secretary Kelly.

In executing these responsibilities, ICE has prioritized its limited resources on the identification and removal of criminal aliens and those apprehended at the border while attempting to unlawfully enter the United States. Expectations of a quick solution and immediate movement to address the immigration matter are misplaced as this will be a long slog of an operation and will take the coordination of several agencies including the U.S. State Department which is presently operating without a Secretary until Rex Tillerson is confirmed and sworn in. The fallout will include a diplomatic challenge which is many cases does need to occur, however other nations such as China and Russia will step in to intrude on the process including those at the United Nations level, falling into the lap of the newly confirmed U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley.

Ted Cruz Smacks Democrats For Hypocrisy… Defends Jeff Sessions… Laughs At Code Pink

You just have to love Ted Cruz’s style. During the confirmation hearing on Tuesday for Jeff Sessions, the circus came to town. It was choreographed by Medea Benjamin of Code Pink infamy. They had people there dressed as the KKK and others wearing pink tiaras. They screamed for Black Lives Matter. And Ted Cruz did exactly what he should have done as they were being escorted from the chambers… he laughed at them. This time it was send out the clowns. He also noted that free speech was a wonderful thing.

Cruz went on to say that for eight long years the left has crippled this nation by ignoring the rule of law. Jeff Sessions as attorney general will once again impose the rule of law and adhere to the Constitution. This is why the left is scared crapless over him being confirmed. But they can’t stop it… Sessions will become attorney general and then go after illegal immigrants, refugees, radicals and criminals who had a free ticket during Obama’s reign. The party is over for this scum and they wail like a bunch of demons who know their hour is at hand.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, hammered Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday for their vigorous assault of attorney general nominee Jeff Sessions, under the auspices of a reverence for the rule of law, when considered in light of their silence as the Obama administration carried out years of lawless deeds.

But first, he had to deal with protesters who interrupted the Sessions confirmation hearing with shouts of “Jeff Sessions, you are a racist!” and “Black lives matter!”

After Capitol Police escorted them from the room, Cruz remarked that “free speech is a wonderful thing,” before getting to the matter at hand.

“This has been an interesting day at this hearing listening to Democratic senator after Democratic senator give speeches and praise of the rule of law. And I am encouraged by that, because for eight years it has been absent,” Cruz began his questioning.

“For eight years we’ve seen a Department of Justice consistently disregarding the rule of law,” he continued.

Cruz recited a whole list of lawlessness by the Obama administration and the Department of Justice. His indictment of the Democrats was nothing less than impressive: “When Eric Holder’s Department of Justice allowed illegal gun transactions, illegally sold guns to Mexican gun traffickers, as part of Fast and Furious — guns that were later used to murder Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry — the Democratic members of this committee were silent.”

“When Eric Holder was found in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with Congress’ investigation into Fast and Furious, once again the Democrats on this committee were silent,” he continued. And they were… over and over and over again. “When the IRS illegally targeted United States citizens for exercising their First Amendment views, for exercising their roles in the political process, Democratic members of this committee were silent,” Cruz said. Instead the DOJ refused to prosecute the matter and turned it over to a major donor of Barack Obama’s. Talk about corruption.

And Cruz was far from done… he made a laundry list of corruption, including Operation Choke Point, sanctuary cities, the Obama administration’s release of tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens whose past offenses included rape and murder, the paying of nearly $2 billion in ransom to Iran for American hostages, the numerous changes to provisions of Obamacare without congressional approval, and the recess appointments by the president, which the Supreme Court later ruled, unanimously, were unconstitutional.

Cruz is now celebrating that with the confirmation of Sessions, the rule of law will once again be in play. And adding to the misery of the left and the shredding of Obama’s legacy, Cruz will reintroduce today the bill to fully repeal Obamacare.

Finally, Cruz pointed out that if we played the same game the Dems did, when Sessions is confirmed, he could do exactly what the Democrats did to us… “Now, if we were to play a game of tit-for-tat, if what was good for the goose was good for the gander, then a Republican attorney general should be equally partisan; equally disregard the law; should advance political preferences favored by the Republican Party,” he said. He asked Sessions what a Republican attorney general should do and Sessions said that he would do the opposite of partisan rule… he would observe the Constitution and the rule of law. And that is why Jeff Sessions needs to be attorney general. Cruz’s presentation, case and closing were a slam dunk… that’s how you do it folks.

Ted Cruz: This Is Why The Left Is Utterly Terrified Of Jeff Sessions [VIDEO]

Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions have been friends for a long time. Cruz respects the heck out of Sessions. In an op-ed in Politico and then again today during the confirmation hearing for Jeff Sessions, Cruz detailed exactly why the left is absolutely stone cold terrified of the man. And it’s the very same reason he will make an incredible attorney general… Sessions will enforce the rule of law. That has Democrats rolling over and wetting themselves and then running for their safe spaces. Why? Because as long as Barack Obama was president, the law didn’t matter and they got to do as they pleased. Those days are over.

People wonder why I am so enamored with Ted Cruz, this is a good example of why I think the man should either be president some day or reside on the Supreme Court. He expressed his unshakable hope that Sessions will bring much needed change to the “comically corrupt” Obama Justice Department, which for the past eight years has simply “ignored the laws it didn’t like.” Talk about a rogue administration… Obama has stomped on the constitutional rights of all Americans and flaunted the law at every turn. From Cruz: “Many of Sessions’ opponents actually believe the Justice Department does not need reform. To them, the lawlessness is a feature, not a bug. President Obama—and Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch—did not mess things up, in this view. Rather, they successfully transformed the DOJ from a law enforcement agency to yet another law “enhancement” agency. To them, Sessions is a threat because of his impartial commitment to the rule of law.”

On Monday, one day before the confirmation hearings begin for Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. (C, 78%), Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas (A, 97%) published a fiery op-ed in Politico, explaining why Sessions is a “superb” choice for attorney general, and why Democrats are shaking in their boots.

Cruz, who served alongside Sessions in the Senate, vouches for the senator’s “integrity and passion for law enforcement,” which has gained him “tremendous respect among the hardworking men and women in blue across our great land.”

I support Senator Sessions for attorney general for the very reason that many vehemently oppose him. Namely, I — and they — know that Sessions will enforce the law. The fact that this is controversial tells you all you need to know about the sorry intellectual state of our country’s elites, especially in the legal academy and federal bureaucracies. Senator Sessions believes in the foundational idea that we are governed by objectively knowable, written rules, and that we should not be subject to the interpretive whims of unelected, power-hungry bureaucrats. Sessions will instill this belief at the Department of Justice.

Cruz also pointed out that the Democrats are rabidly against Sessions and will try every vile effort they can come up with to smear a good man. But from what I understand, Sessions is already a go and will indeed be confirmed. It won’t stop the left though… this won’t end here and will go on non-stop for the duration. The leftist’s last-gasp effort to stop Sessions is just pathetic and Cruz nails it: “He’s a law-and-order devotee about to enter a lawless DOJ. If I were them — if I wanted to keep DOJ as a partisan agency unbound by law — I’d be scared, too.” Good, I’m glad they are scared. They should be.

And just for good measure, to send a real chill down the Dems’ spines… Cruz wasn’t quite done. After slamming Democrats over and over again for disrespecting the rule of law due to partisan politics and in the process absolutely decimating Al Franken, Cruz bluntly pointed out to Sessions, “If we were to play a game of tit for tat, then a Republican AG should be equally partisan” referring to the level of “hackery” from the last eight years. Elections do indeed have consequences and Sessions is key in righting the many wrongs in the DOJ.

Louie Gohmert Joins With Ted Cruz: Defund the UN… Slams Obama for Anti-Israel UN Attack

God bless Louie Gohmert. The conservative Texan Congressman is not only a principled man… he has a spine made of titanium. Gohmert is never afraid to speak his mind and did so on the Sean Hannity show concerning Barack Obama and John Kerry betraying Israel at the United Nations. This is how it is done… magnificent and well said. Slow clap.

Gohmert is now working on a bill to take away funding from the UN until they rescind their resolution on Israeli settlements and he noted that “they don’t need our help to be anti-Semitic.” He also wants to make it a crime to use any government money to recognize Palestine as an independent country or state. Amen to that… twice. He also bluntly stated that the Obama administration favors “the bullies over the victims. … Look at it, who have they given more money than anybody? Iran.” Exactly right. Obama hearts Islamic terrorist thugs over the Jewish state and America. Muslims of a feather. There, I said it.

Between Friday’s stab-in-the-back betrayal of one of the country’s closest allies and Wednesday’s insult-to-injury speech by Secretary of State John Kerry, President Barack Obama’s foreign policies are careening to the end of his term like a runaway train.

But a conservative Texas congressman wants to put on the brakes.

Rep. Louie Gohmert, the veteran Republican representative from the Lone Star State and an outspoken conservative leader in Congress, told Fox News’ Kimberly Guilfoyle this week he’s joining with conservatives in the Senate by preparing a bill to cripple the United Nations by cutting off U.S. money for it.

After Friday’s passage — with the approval of the Obama administration — of a Security Council resolution that brands Israeli an international criminal for building housing on its own territory, and Secretary of State John Kerry’s attack Israel for allegedly blocking the peace process, Gohmert said it was time to bring both the United Nations and the Obama White House to heel.

The bill he’s preparing, he said, has twin goals.

“One, we don’t give a dime to the U.N. until they rescind that resolution,” Gohmert said. “And people say, ‘oh, they’ll never do that.’ Fine, they don’t need our help to be anti-Semitic.

“The other is … making it a crime to use any government money to recognize Palestine as an independent country or state, because that’s what I keep hearing is going to be the next shoe to drop.”

Louie Gohmert has joined forces with another feisty Texan, Ted Cruz, to go after defunding the UN. Obama is trying to set America on fire on his way out of the White House. Attacking Israel in this fashion and stabbing them in the back is the most shameful act yet, in a long, long line of shameful acts. Cruz excoriated President Obama and his administration for its cowardice and proposed a unique retribution for the UN once President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

Cruz sharply criticized Obama and stated that we should “reconsider financial support for the nations that supported this resolution” and that it may be time to “significantly reduce or even eliminate US funding of the United Nations.” Agreed. And we should expel Palestinian diplomats as well. I notice that Obama is hot for the Russians, but does not mention the Palestinians, who are terrorists, at all.

“For eight long years, the Obama administration has worked systematically to undermine the nation of Israel,” Cruz wrote. “They actively worked to defeat Prime Minister Netanyahu, and illegally used US taxpayer funds to do so. Never has there been a more anti-Israel administration, and today’s United Nations vote is the culmination of their systemic agenda to weaken Israel and strengthen its enemies. Every Obama foreign policy official should be ashamed of today’s UN resolution, and any official who disagrees with or hopes to avoid the anti-Israel legacy of this administration should resign on principle today,” he continued.

More from Cruz: “I also emphatically second the call of my colleague Sen. Lindsey Graham that the consequences of this disgraceful UN resolution should be severe,” Cruz said. “I look forward to working with Sen. Graham, and with the incoming administration of President-elect Trump, to significantly reduce or even eliminate US funding of the United Nations, and also to seriously reconsider financial support for the nations that supported this resolution. For those who have put your name to this despicable attack on Israel, you did so with full knowledge of the consequences of your actions. And for those who acquiesced or facilitated the UN resolution- — especially President Obama, Secretary Kerry, and Ambassador Power- — history will record your abiding and shameful legacy undermining our friend and ally Israel,” Cruz added.

Gohmert and Cruz are right… cut off funding for the UN and anyone who supports their hatred of Israel. Stand by Israel for real and hit these anti-Semitic bastards where it hurts. In their wallet. Since the UN seems to hate Israel and America so much, cut off the $3 billion we give them directly every year and in fact, cut off the $8 billion we give to them and connected organizations annually. That money can be used on our southern border and to bring jobs back to our country. Make America great again… defund the UN.

Ted Cruz: History Will Remember Obama and Kerry as Enemies of Israel

This is a clear example of why I supported and still do, Senator Ted Cruz. He held nothing back and lambasted both Barack Obama and John Kerry as shameful bitter clingers that betrayed Israel and stabbed her in the back, ambushing her at the UN like the cowards they are. Obama’s legacy will be one of treasonous diplomatic terrorism against Israel.

From Obama’s beginning, he has done his level evil best to destroy every underpinning that the principles of America have been set on. He has opened up a monstrous sinkhole of chaos underneath the very foundation of this country and has done a great job at trying to drop us into that abyss. Israel is our oldest and most steadfast ally. We share many things in common and both our countries have been a force for good in this world. Obama wants to destroy both Israel and the US. He is weakening Israel, so the Arab jackal states surrounding her can tear her to shreds. That will never happen and President-elect Donald Trump will stop much of this when he comes into office in just three weeks. Israel said this morning that they have waited 3,000 years… they can wait 30 more days and Trump is telling them to hold on, he’s coming.

“Kerry’s speech drew a stunning moral equivalence between our great ally Israel and the Palestinian Authority, currently formed in a ‘unity’ government with the vicious terrorists of Hamas. Secretary Kerry declared the Hamas regime in Gaza ‘radical,’ in the same way he declared the duly-elected government of Israel ‘extreme.’ He declared vicious terrorism sponsored by Hamas equal to Israeli settlements in West Bank. And he equated Israel’s celebration of its birth with the Palestinian description of this event as the ‘disaster.’ His speech attempted to lay out an historic and seismic shift towards the delegitimization of our ally, Israel, and the further empowerment of the Palestinian Authority.

“Kerry’s central conclusion, that ‘Israel can either be Jewish or democratic, it cannot be both’ is an inanity that passes as profound only in Ivory Tower faculty lounges. There are roughly 50 majority-Muslim countries in the world. There is one — only one — Jewish state. And yet, for Kerry and Obama, that is too much. The Israeli Knesset has 17 elected Arab members. It has Muslim members and Christian members. In contrast, one searches in vain for Muslim countries that have elected Jewish representatives.

“It is a sign of their radicalism and refusal to defend American interests, that Obama and Kerry choose to attack the only inclusive democracy in the Middle East — a strong, steadfast ally of America — while turning a blind eye to the Islamic terrorism that grows daily.

“America is an unshakable friend of Israel, and we are horrified at what has transpired this week.

“I believe Obama’s and Kerry’s shameful conduct will backfire. That it will be short-lived, and will inspire a bipartisan repudiation of their radical anti-Israel agenda.

“All Americans who understand the value of the U.S.-Israel alliance must immediately and unequivocally reject their false and dangerous narrative, and reassert our fundamental commitment to Israel’s security. Thankfully, Congress and the incoming administration can and I hope will take decisive action to intercept the administration’s final and desperate Hail Mary, and that should begin with eliminating U.S. funding to the U.N., unless and until this disgraceful resolution is reversed.

“I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle as well as the incoming administration to chart a new path forward based on America’s national security interests and clear-eyed reality, not on the Obama administration’s globalist agenda and wishful thinking.”

Obama, Kerry, Biden and others plotted this betrayal well in advance of the UN convening. Israel has a ton of proof of it and it will come out, I have no doubt of that. Kerry’s speech yesterday was the most shameful display of betrayal of an ally that I have ever witnessed in my lifetime, it was a sheer gift to the Islamists. I agree with Cruz, this will backfire on Obama and will strengthen support of Israel here in the US. I think it will also cause a major reassessment of the UN, with defunding and possibly withdrawal from their ranks altogether.

The “moral equivalence” that Palestine-defenders like John Kerry use to bludgeon Israel with while ignoring the evil pressed against them on all sides by Islamists who want to annihilate them is simply jaw dropping. This brazen (but inevitable) betrayal of Israel is the most shameful act to come from Obama in a long series of shameful acts. For eight long years, Obama has treated Israel like dirt, but that is about to change.

Ted Cruz said this when the resolution was first passed: “Every Obama foreign policy official should be ashamed of today’s U.N. resolution, and any official who disagrees with or hopes to avoid the anti-Israel legacy of this administration should resign on principle today.” That’s exactly right. The US should expel Palestinian diplomats and immediately cut off funding to the UN. We should also scale back ties with foreign nations that voted in favor of the controversial measure. A full investigation should be launched into the actions of Barack Obama, John Kerry and others over this horrific move.

With a Trump administration in place, we need to take a forceful stand against any and all that try to deligitimize Israel. Our response should be swift and forceful and it should be made clear that ANYONE out there that tries to attack the Jewish State will need to answer to the United States.

Netanyahu Drops BOMBSHELL About Obama After Anti-Israel Resolution [VIDEO]

Does anyone out there doubt for even a second that Barack Obama not only promoted the anti-Israel resolution, but was in fact behind it and helped craft it? I don’t. I’d say it was an absolute certainty. Netanyahu and his spokesman have dropped a bombshell and are coming right out and saying it… good for them. And Obama isn’t done stabbing Israel in the back yet. Rumor has it more is coming. Bibi is turning to President-elect Donald Trump for help, although I’m not sure how much he can do before being sworn in. But if anyone can at this point, it’s Trump.

Obama has three more weeks to do harm to Israel. Netanyahu is telling his ministers to not directly attack Barack Obama as they may cause him to do even more damage. I don’t think it makes a difference because he’s going to do it anyway. In sheer defiance of the UN and Obama, Netanyahu lit the 2nd Chanukah candle at the Western Wall. Nice.

A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Netanyahu’s government has “ironclad” information tying President Barack Obama directly to the anti-Israel resolution passed last week by the United Nations Security Council.

David Keyes, Netanyahu’s spokesman, said on CNN Sunday that top Israeli officials have evidence that Obama not only pushed the deal to pass, but he helped “craft” it.

“Well, we have ironclad information, frankly, that the Obama administration really helped push this resolution and helped craft it, from sources internationally and from sources in the Arab world, and it’s really an unfortunate legacy, kind of last minute jab at Israel that actually distances peace,” Keyes said.

“We have full confidence that the information is accurate,” he added of the accuracy of the information. “This resolution is shameful and actually pushes peace farther away.”

Keyes doubled down on his comments during a second interview with Fox News, where he explained that an “abandonment” of Israel by the Obama administration is currently playing out for the world to see.

“I think what we’re seeing is an abandonment of Israel, and an abandonment of a long-standing American policy,” he said.

The International Court could also bring charges of war crimes up against Israel over all this. It’s absurd, but they hate Israel and are twisting everything to do with the Palestinians. Obama will be in the thick of that too. The White House already has acknowledged President Obama made the decision for US Ambassador Samantha Power to abstain. Unclear was how involved the Obama administration was in crafting and pushing the resolution itself – which initially was put forward by Egypt and then pursued by New Zealand, Malaysia, Senegal and Venezuela. Personally, I have no doubt of his involvement with crafting this whole monstrosity. He didn’t just ‘let’ this happen… Obama made it happen.

Netanyahu has vowed that Israel will not abide by the resolution and has already started planning with his government how they will respond. They have already summoned many of their ambassadors — mainly from countries that voted for the resolution — including their US ambassador. They have also cut off funding to the UN over this, just as we should. Come January 20th, when Trump takes office, I think the UN is in for a rude shock. Sens. Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham have also said in the days following the passing of the resolution that all US funds to the UN should be cut until the international body revokes the anti-Israeli measure. They aren’t going to revoke it… we should immediately cut all funds and withdraw from the UN over this move after Obama threw Israel to the jackals of the UN.

Senator Ted Cruz: Eliminate US funding of the UN

Today’s United Nations vote is the culmination of this administration’s systemic agenda to weaken #Israel and strengthen its enemies.

Every Obama foreign policy official should be ashamed of today’s UN resolution, and any official who disagrees with or hopes to avoid the anti-Israel legacy of this Administration should resign on principle today.

I also emphatically second the call of my colleague Sen. Lindsey Graham that the consequences of this disgraceful UN resolution should be severe. I look forward to working with Sen. Graham, and with the incoming Administration of President-elect Trump, to significantly reduce or even eliminate U.S. funding of the United Nations, and also to seriously reconsider financial support for the nations that supported this resolution.
