Less than 48 hours after I predicted that a White House meeting of “health care reform stakeholders” would produce a plan “by 5 o’clock,” my prediction came true. Unfortunately, however, it appears to have taken Press Secretary Robert Gibbs a while to craft the message for dissemination to the public.

President Barack Obama announced this morning that the “extremely productive meeting” Monday produced a plan for health care reform that he expects the House of Representatives to pass by July 31.

The president said that, whatever form it takes in the House and Senate, the comprehensive health care reform measure must address the following:

  • Rising costs of health care have to be brought down;
  • American have to be able to choose their own doctors; and
  • Americans have to have access to quality, affordable health care.

What the president did not explain was that others — many of whom will not be medical doctors – will be in charge of determining WHEN you might receive care, HOW MUCH care you will receive and HOW LONG you should receive care.

Even more frightening, President Obama didn’t tell you that getting sick too often could cost you your life and that bureaucrats might be the ones who decide “It’s your time to die”whether you’re ready or not!
