(Las Vegas) Republican U.S. Senate candidate Danny Tarkanian today launched a brand new online headquarters (www.tark2010.org) adding several new features that will help his campaign defeat Harry Reid. The campaign has already put together a Nevada grassroots network and a nationwide fundraising network of thousands.
“In order to beat Harry Reid, you can’t run a top-down effort. You need to build and mobilize a grassroots organization,” said campaign manager Brian Seitchik. “We already have widespread support, and this website will help us harness the energy of the grassroots for a big victory next November.”
Features of the new website include:
TEAM TARK: an online political networking platform that will link Danny Tarkanian’s supporters so they can work together.
Reid Alert – This feature will alert the grassroots to Senator Reid’s actions and votes so they can take action through their network.
Online HQ – supporters will be able to call from their homes, invite their contacts list to join and much more.
Events – supporters can go to a web page and see upcoming events including a built-in map.
“This the intial version of the online HQ. The website will continue to add features and functionality to support all our grassroots activity,” said Seitchik.
