President Barack Obama is trapped in such a terrible tsunami of political troubles right now, threatening his reelection prospects from almost every corner of the world, that Andrea Mitchell, NBC News anchor, took it upon herself to use painfully obvious and ethically corrupt video editing and reporting practices, in an attempt to Obama a little boost, by making Gov. Mitt Romney look ‘out of touch’ [with the common man]–the current mainstream media narrative against him.

Perry Chiaramonte’s excellent FOXNews article today packaged up the faux pas, putting it on the air and website, with a side-by-side comparison video showing the edited video used in her MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” program yesterday, and the private “You Tube” continuous video taken at the same Romney speech.

As they say, aren’t smart phones amazing tools today.

Mitchell used the video to drive her “out-of-touch with the common man” story against Romney, attempting to link his apparent “amazement” at a sandwich shop order keypad, directly with a similar mainstream media smear job on George H.W. Bush during his 1992 reelection campaign against Bill Clinton.

It was discovered that the Bush video/report was also “doctored” out of context, appearing to capture him marveling at what was purposefully identified as a common grocery store bar code reader–when in reality, it was actually a new technology that integrated a weight-scale into the unit, which is now the technology in use everywhere.

Last August, Ed Schultz of MSNBC played an edited clip in which then-presidential candidate Rick Perry described the national debt as a “big black cloud that hangs over America,” to make it sound like a racial dig at President Obama.

Schultz later apologized.

Then just in March, NBC was caught editing the audio of George Zimmerman’s 911 call, during the time he was observing Trayvon Martin, in the minutes before he fatally shot the Florida teen.

The edited tape that aired on the “Today” show featured Zimmerman calling Martin “suspicious” and volunteering that he was “black,” making it appear like Zimmerman was racially profiling Martin.

However, the full, unedited tape revealed that Zimmerman only mentioned Martin’s race–when asked by the dispatcher.

The network fired three people after getting widespread criticism.

In reality, polls have already shown that the majority of Americas are smarter than NBC, MSNBC and Andrea Mitchell think.

And, after having been repeatedly caught trying to put in the “fix” in for President Obama will lead even more Independents in the “right” direction in November.
