The Fog of Misdirection

A week after three Syrian tanks moved into the Golan Heights where they stayed for several hours before leaving, a mortar shell struck the Golan Heights this morning fired from Syria. There were no injuries and Israel retaliated with warning shots into Syria. Syria is testing Israel’s resolve to hold on to the Golan Heights, taken in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. This is being touted by the MSM as the first direct conflict since a cease fire in 1974. Technically, Syria and Israel have never ceased being at war. It has been quiet since the ceasefire, but make no mistake… Syria wants that land back and if they get it, it will be the end of Israel. Israel cannot afford to give it up – their survival depends on it. However, saying this is the first direct conflict since 1973 is not exactly correct. Remember, in 2008, Israel took out Syria’s nuclear facilities in “Operation Orchard” and rightly so. They delayed an oncoming firestorm by taking it out.

From the Jerusalem Post:

Israel limited its return fire, since its policy is to only fire intensively in response to coming under major Syrian fire. “We didn’t continue firing because this was one mortar we were responding to,” the source said.

“We will not accept any firing into our territory,” he added. “This was a signal to the Syrians, that we will not be so forgiving of everything that lands in a territory.” The source stressed that as of now, Israel and Syria were not a in a conflict situation.

The IDF is currently on standby for a security deterioration on both the northern front and the border with Gaza.

After the incident this morning, Israel filed a complaint with the UN, who promptly ignored them and did nothing. The UN is populated by radical Islamists, so this is no surprise. Israel is now totally surrounded by the enemy and America just reelected a President who hates Israel. They can no longer depend on America as an ally. Once again, as seen throughout history, Israel stands alone, but not entirely. They have God at their side, which is worth more than any other ally. Meanwhile, Barack Obama is aiding and abetting our enemies, getting our soldiers, ambassadors and personnel killed; all the while pushing Taqiyya and going to massive lengths not to offend the Muslim world and paying homage to the Mullahs of Iran. He is the ultimate enemy from within and made America a Marxist offer they evidently couldn’t refuse.

From Reuters:

In a statement, the Israeli military said soldiers had “fired warning shots towards Syrian areas”.

“The IDF (Israel Defence Force) has filed a complaint through the UN forces operating in the area, stating that fire emanating from Syria into Israel will not be tolerated and shall be responded to with severity,” the statement said.

There was no immediate comment from the 1,000-man United Nations Disengagement Observer Force which patrols the area.

Turkey, Jordon and Lebanon have all had similar run-ins with Syria on their borders as of late. Turkey has retaliated. Meanwhile, the rebels in Syria (who are populated by the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama’s new best buds) are begging for more help from the US. While America cannot see fit to help their closest ally Israel, they seem to be helping the rebels with arms and intel. This feeds into the furthering of a worldwide caliphate and eliminating Israel. All of the violence in Syria will eventually lead to a war with Israel, which may have been the not-so-subtle plan all along. The Islamic world is more than willing to slaughter their own (36,000 dead in Syria so far) to further planetary conquest. At some point they will combine forces and go after tiny Israel. And the Russians will stand in the background with the Iranians rubbing their bloody hands, chuckling with evil glee. Barack Obama will be the ultimate pawn on a geographic chessboard populated by dictators, evil Mullahs and corrupt politicians, moving towards a hellish checkmate for the soul of humanity. Well done America. Well done.

It is hard to discern if Israel can see all this unfolding… I believe they do, although they protest to the contrary, outwardly hoping for Assad’s fall and saying they don’t believe Syria means them harm. Syria has ALWAYS meant them harm, so I take this diplomatic fluff as simply deflection while they continue to prepare for the war they now know is unavoidable.

From the AP:

On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Cabinet that Israel is “closely monitoring” the border with Syria and is “ready for any development.”

Earlier, Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned, “If a shell falls, we will respond.”

Israel fears that if Assad’s regime is toppled, the country could fall into the hands of Islamic extremists or descend into sectarian warfare, destabilizing the region.

It also is afraid that Syria’s arsenal of chemical weapons and missile could fall into the hands of its Lebanese ally, the Hezbollah guerrilla group, or other anti-Israel militants if Assad loses power.

The aftermath of Egypt’s revolution has also provided Israel with reason to worry about its frontier region with Syria: Egypt’s Sinai desert on Israel’s southern border has turned even more lawless since longtime Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ousted in February 2011, and Islamic militants are now more easily able to use it as a launching ground for strikes against southern Israel.

When Conservatives lost the presidential election this week to a committed Marxist and a close friend of Jihadists, I not only mourned for America and all she has fought for… I mourned for Israel, God’s chosen children. Those that turn their backs on Israel, turn their backs on God. May He have mercy on the United States, but I’m beginning to doubt that and now I understand why we are not mentioned in end times eschatology.

While Islamic foes poke the Israeli badger, hoping for a violent response to provide them cover to attack, the Israelis are showing their nerves of steel in a complex battle that has implications for all of us. The Syrian conflict is the perfect excuse to attack Israel in a series of battle forays. Forget about the fog of war, the radical Islamists are practicing the fog of misdirection. Let’s hope that fog is not cleared with a nuclear detonation.

Massive Voter Fraud and I am ANGRY (please share)

In response to receiving this note I sent out the following email.

Feel free to copy and paste it to your own email and send to everyone you know.

I am not depressed.

I am angry!

Romney did not lose.

There was massive voter fraud everywhere!

Check out a few websites (and this is just a start). Go though the links and see for yourself.

No one in the Main Steam Media is reporting it of course. Our country is no longer a Republic with elected representatives. I do not know what will happen, but I am not “standing down.”

I do not care who you voted for, this is not right!

The numbers do not add up (From Ulsterman):

  • Barack Obama netted FEWER Democrat votes in 2012 than were cast in 2008 by 3% points.
  • Mitt Romney earned MORE Republican votes in 2012 than were cast in 2008 by 3% points.
  • Mitt Romney by the way, earned MORE Black votes in 2012 than were cast for the Republican in 2008.
  • Barack Obama earned FEWER Black votes in 2012 than he did in 2008.
  • Mitt Romney earned MORE votes from both married men and married woman than were cast for Republicans in 2008, while also improving support among non-married men and woman by 2% from 2008 as well.
  • Mitt Romney earned MORE votes among liberals, moderates, and conservatives than were cast for the Republican candidate in 2008 – in fact, this improvement was by a full 7% over 2008 – a very significant improvement.
  • Mitt Romney earned more votes from Protestants, Catholics, and Jews than the Republican nominee received in 2008, including a 9-point improvement among Jewish voters alone.
  • The two top issues according to voters were the economy and the budget.
  • Mitt Romney earned A 38 POINT ADVANTAGE OVER BARACK OBAMA on the top two issues of the election – and yet Romney was somehow defeated.
  • Lastly, regarding the following three personal trait issues – strong leader, shares my values, and has a vision for the future, Mitt Romney DOMINATED Barack Obama among 2012 voters by 45 points. And lost the election.

Please share this far and wide. Take names/emails off and blind copy please.

Electors chosen on Election Day meet in their respective state capitals (or in the case of Washington, D.C., within the District) on the Monday after the second Wednesday in December, at which time they cast their electoral votes on separate ballots for President and Vice President.

That is December 17th. We have until then to ROAR.

Contact your “elected” Representatives and demand they look into this!

Families Supporting Adoption

By: T F Stern
T F Stern’s Rantings

Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards was all over the news this week telling the GOP it needed to “dump” its pro-life base. There are unsubstantiated rumors Richards also called the Pope and told him the Catholic Church would have better success if they dumped the Ten Commandments.

“Richards seems representative of many liberal Democrats in her lack of logic across situations. She argues that being pro-life is contrary to “supporting people’s individual rights and keeping government out of personal health care decisions,” but she apparently assumes that Catholics and Christians who oppose funding for abortion have no individual rights to oppose government’s intervention in their personal decisions of conscience.”

Today I had a chance to attend the Southwest Regional Families Supporting Adoption Conference (FSA) put on by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the Hafer Road building here in Houston. I was serving in my capacity as an IT specialist (still trying to figure out what IT stands for), hooking up cables, microphones and internet connections, so the conference could be viewed by those unable to attend in person.

I helped set up the broadcast equipment and monitored the production throughout the day just in case something needed fixing. Twenty minutes into the broadcast, the magic box (that’s a technical term for the equipment which sends the broadcast up to Salt Lake City where angels turn it into a program which can be viewed on any computer using the proper URL)… anyway, the magic box froze up and quit working. We shut it off and started it up again and it worked just fine the rest of the day.

I monitored the broadcast from my laptop in a room not too distant from the actual broadcast room; just far enough away so my activity didn’t disturb anyone else. There’s about a minute and a half lag time; the live transmission sent through a magic box, up to Salt Lake and back.

It’s kind of neat if you think about it; I turned on the video camera, microphones and exited the room, walked over to where my computer was set up and a minute and a half later watched myself pass in front of that camera, turn on the microphone and test them. I could use a device like that to pick the lottery numbers, wait for the winning combo to be announced and then buy my ticket; yea, I know it’s already been tried.

I listened to the deeply personal explanations regarding the choice to place a child up for adoption given by young women who had put themselves in between a rock and a hard place. These young women had become pregnant out of wedlock and needed help.

One of them thought about having an abortion; the fellow who’d broken her heart was pushing to get rid of the problem rather than offering to marry. While she was at the clinic to have the “procedure” completed, a variety of events prevented it being accomplished in a timely manner. She was scheduled to be the first of many lined up in the waiting room; but somehow her paperwork was misplaced so she ended up having to wait while other young women were “taken care of.”

The longer she waited, the more the finality of her actions weighed upon her mind. Finally she was ushered in to a room for an ultrasound prior to the actual abortion. During the ultrasound she felt the baby jump within her, an activity which showed up on the ultrasound monitor. She had asked the technician if she could watch; but was told it was against the clinic’s policy (this was before the laws were changed). Not being one to easily give up, she persuaded the technician to turn the monitor so she could see the monitor.

“What’s that moving, there?”

“That’s the heart beating”, the technician told her, “That means it’s a viable embryo.” Everything said was cold and without human compassion as she was led to a stainless steel table where she waited for the procedure to commence.

During that time she considered her options, her need to stop and do the right thing. She wanted to leave and yet she was already on the table. She said a silent prayer in those few minutes.

In her mind she saw a little boy holding a flower in his hand looking up at her and smiling, as if to say, “My life is in your hands.” She bolted from the table and thanked the Lord for awakening her, to get up and leave regardless of the embarrassment of being pregnant and unwed; her friends and family would not understand.

I sat there, watching my computer monitor with tears streaming down my cheeks and wondered how anyone could relate this event in front of an audience. There was no box of Kleenex in the room, so I used the back of my hands to wipe the tears away and sniffled the congestion in my nose several times just in case someone were to enter.

The second half of the day was similar; but from a different point of view, that of folks who had adopted children and how it had affected their lives. I listened to each of them, again the tears fell without end.

I listened to stories about the miracle of life, that miracle which some are unable to produce and so they must adopt from those who are, for a number of reasons, unable to properly raise or support a child. Thinking back to the article I’d read earlier and what the president of Planned Parenthood was saying:

“It’s also important to note that, as is the case with most pro-abortion proponents, Richards continues to use terms such as “women’s personal health care decisions,” “women’s preventive health care,” “women’s reproductive health care,” etc., all phrases that have been usurped from the field of medicine and health care for the pro-abortion political agenda. Ironically enough, when discussions about “reproductive health care” come up in most gynecologists’ offices, they are in reference to fertility and how to become pregnant with a baby, rather than how to abort one.”

How we view the miracle of life, as individuals and then as a society in general, is a measure of our gratitude for all the blessings of life. Some think nothing of the small child which they toss in a trash sack and into the garbage while there are so many waiting in line to qualify for a chance to adopt. Isn’t that a remarkable situation worth contemplating; one that brakes my heart as I think of my friends, those who have been trying to start a family and their look of desperation as each year passes and they pray for a child to enter their lives.

SHAM RECOUNT SUNDAY: Allen West vs. Patrick Murphy for Congress, FL; Update

By: Arlen Williams
Gulag Bound

UPDATES – in chronological order (original post, November 10, 4:04pm CT)

Allen West

Some may have seen a headline today in the leftist Huffington Post stating Allen West has lost his re-election bid and will not have a recount. That is flatly incorrect.

From Tanya Grimsley, electoral activist in the Allen West campaign, posted today in Facebook:

Because the challenger Murphy jumped the gun as did most of the media without checking the facts and Congressman Allen West no conceding in this race, the ballots the were being counted were from the original race on Tuesday. These ballots put Allen West ahead, but not within the margin needed to declare victory. The ballots in St Lucie will also need to be completed this coming Wed. and from there will determine if either candidate is the winner or a forced mandatory recount of all the votes in the district.

Remember, no winner has been declared by the SoE. This is fact.

A video interview held yesterday (Friday) tells the story in Rep. West’s own words.

Update: Allen West campaign letter to Supervisor of Elections, St. Lucie County.

URGENT COME HELP – St. Lucie Issues Decision to Recount Votes EARLIER – Sunday 7:00AM

Posted by allenwestrepublic on

Stuart, FL – Today West for Congress released the following statement regarding the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections’ decision to recount early votes:

“Tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m., the St Lucie County Supervisor of Elections will recount all early votes cast in St. Lucie County. West for Congress is pleased with the Supervisor’s decision, as the counting of early votes on Election Night was of great concern to our cam\paign, given the large shift that occurred at midnight of nearly 4,000 votes.

This decision should help shed light on the situation of this election. This is the action we were seeking to ensure the results of this election were fair and accurate.

While we still look forward to reviewing the poll books used to check in voters during early voting and Election Day, this recount goes a long way to ensuring an accurate outcome.”

ADDRESS: 4132 Okeechobee Rd Fort Pierce, Florida 34947

Note from Ms. Grimsley in Facebook on the above:

YOUR HELP NEEDED URGENTLY!!! The St Lucie SOE has decided that and EARLIER vote recount would be best. She has decided that SUNDAY, VETERANS DAY while all the West constituents are a part of Veterans Day activities. 7:00am PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD WE NEED THE MASSES TO SHOW UP AND HELP!!!

UPDATE – 11/11, 11:00am

We didn’t expect this hustled 7am recall to turn out to be called for the sake of good government and disclosure, did we? Again from Allen West Republic:

Allen West for Congress Statement “Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker clearly runs most corrupt elections office in the state of Florida”

Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker clearly runs most corrupt

elections office in the state of Florida

Stuart, FL – Today West for Congress campaign manager Tim Edson released the following statement in response to the sham recount underway in St. Lucie County this morning:

“Late yesterday, the St. Lucie County Board of Elections had agreed to recount all early ballots to address concerns stemming from their acknowledgement of technical errors late on Election Night in the counting of the first three days of early voting, as posted on their website.

However this morning, when observers arrived at the elections office for the 7:00 a.m. recount, they were told by the Supervisor of Elections only the final three days of early voting would be recounted, when in fact the data in question relates to the first three days of voting. During discussions about the recount, the canvassing board repeatedly tried to shoo away observers and prevent them from listening in on discussions. Apparently the have never heard of Florida sunshine laws

When questioned about counting the wrong three days of voting, the Supervisor of Elections and the canvassing board claimed the errors were in fact on the final three days, despite the record from Thursday’s canvassing board meeting showing otherwise. In addition, the Supervisor has said transcripts from the earlier canvassing board meeting will not be released until the day before the votes are certified.

What was originally viewed as dangerous incompetence on the part of Gertrude Walker now appears more and more like a willful attempt to steal the election for Patrick Murphy. Nothing about this story adds up. If there is truly nothing wrong with the data from the first three days of voting, why will it not be released?

West for Congress will pursue every legal means necessary to ensure a fair election, not only to ensure Gertrude Walker is held accountable, but also ultimately replaced, so the citizens of St Lucie County will be ensured fair and accurate elections.”
