Quick update for you all. We’re in Tonopah, NV this morning. We are expecting small, but enthusiastic crowds today as we visit a lot of small towns across Nevada. The purpose: we’re organizing the effort, and lining up more supporters, for our campaign to Defeat Harry Reid!
We’ll be swinging through the San Francisco Bay Area tomorrow and then up to Redding, CA and then the Pacific Northwest. We’ve gotten good, fair coverage from CNN (who is traveling with us) and Fox News has covered us as well. We’re still fighting to get the national ABC, CBS and NBC to tell the American people about the Tea Party Express and the overall tea party movement.
We MUST step up our efforts and get bigger crowds and more media coverage the next 3 days if we are going to build the momentum to defeat this government-run health care monstrosity.
That means we have two days to raise money to put into more TV ads promoting this effort to get the word out. My goal is for us to raise $35,000 in these next two days.
