Romney says in his own words that he has a plan to “PAY FOR OBAMACARE.” Evidently he has no real intention of repealing it at all.
UPDATE: A kind reader has pointed out that under the noise in the video, Romney says ‘not’ which would mean the opposite of what I originally stated. Truth wins out – Romney evidently DID NOT say this.
Listen again. At about 1:18, Romney said, “There’s a lot of waste in the DOD, like the rest of govt. I’m NOISE (not) going to take that waste and use it to pay for Obamacare. I’m going to take that waste and use it to modernize our Navy and our Air Force …”
There’s a NOT under the noise there. You can just barely make it out.
