Hello… this is going to be an opinion piece on the problems I see on the far right extremists out there. You know the kind I am talking about. The “armchair” militia guy, the conspiracy nut case, the white supremacist group – sometimes they are rolled up into one guy.
First off, the far right “armchair” militia guy – you more than likely know one. He always wears second hand camo from the local Army/Navy store and reads SOLDIER OF FORTUNE magazine and thinks that’s all he needs to be a militia member. Then he starts saying stuff like, “if Obama gets reelected, we need to start a revolution/civil war to stop him.” I myself have heard this off and on and I think, really? Does this wannabe know what he is asking for? Small things like the massive bloodshed; in an armed coup there is never a winner. Besides, we as a people cannot afford to stoop down to the level of the Occupy Movement or the Panthers. Let’s not play that game.
Do you think the founders went to war with England so offhandedly? No, they did not… They pleaded, sent letters and they wrote the Declaration of Independence with a list of complaints regarding the crown. George Washington, having been a veteran of the French-Indian War, knew what a war with England would entail and all of the founders were peace loving religious men anyway. If you tell me you want to have a 3rd Civil War, I will hand you over to any war veteran. He will tell you that prolonged gun fights suck.
Now to the over the top conspiracy case. The thing I have always noticed with these guys is this… they are always massive failures in life and in total denial of themselves. I always tune out these guys because to be honest, conspiracy rhetoric is the biggest waste of time there is and a distraction with no proof or evidence. So, let’s not ever get caught up in this kind of game either. It has been a small part of a large plan to divide us with distracting junk.
Also, let’s not pull back from the community when the bad times do come, because then is when we will need each other the most. From helping with neighborhood security only if WROL ensues, to teaching new skill sets with others, checking on the elderly and on the children, offering to fix or repair things – we cannot just dig a hole and pull back. That’s the class warfare game of the progressives and of the radical politics that they want us to play.
Here’s what we should do right now. Get involved with the political process and vote, write letters to newspapers and to your Congressman, join the NRA or GUNOWNERS OF AMERICA, please read up on Martin Luther king Jr., Ghandi, A DISCOURSE ON CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE and get more of your history reading done and study political science. I know that’s not fun or sexy (to be honest, it’s the most boring and dry reading you will ever do, but necessary for your self education). Take the time to learn about the Nazi Party, the Soviet Union, the Muslim Brotherhood, China, Karl Marx, Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Mao, Mussolini, Woodrow Wilson – the more you know, the more you will want to do.
Now a statement on ROMNEY: It’s pretty much a given he will get the nomination. There are many over the top people that either hate him for his religion or his progressive past. Let me ask you this… with the likely alternative that Obama will be reelected, would you rather speed up the loss of liberty or do you want to slow it down? (These are the realities we have to work with and deal with, but neither Newt or Ron are getting it done.) I bet if Romney does win, he will move to the right when he realizes who got him there and what we expect from him and if you vote for a third party, please just buy an Obama t-shirt, because you just done thrown your vote away.
