The Honorable EPA Owes Shell Oil Billions

According to an article by Dan Springer posted on Fox News website, the EPA has effectively shut down Shell Oil from drilling this summer off the coast of Alaska. Never mind that Shell has invested “five years and nearly $4 billion dollars on plans to explore for oil in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas.” Add to that, “the leases alone cost $2.2 billion.”

If our government had the gumption to lease for the purpose of drilling oil and then cancels permission to drill it, that would make the government “Indian-Givers,” wouldn’t it? Or is that term politically incorrect? Maybe the fine print on the lease specifically prohibited Shell Oil from drilling and stated the lease was to be used strictly for non-invasive purposes; say whale watching or Polar Bear repopulation efforts. And you’d believe that, right?

“The Environmental Appeals Board has four members: Edward Reich, Charles Sheehan, Kathie Stein and Anna Wolgast. All are registered Democrats and Kathie Stein was an activist attorney for the Environmental Defense Fund. Members are appointed by the EPA administrator.”

I’m sure the makeup of the EPA board had nothing to do with Shell Oil being denied permission to drill. We’ve already past the Ides of March; but can’t you hear Marc Antony, praising the EPA’s board members?

The evil big oil does lives after them,

So let it be with Shell … The noble EPA
Hath told you Shell was ambitious:

(For the EPA are honorable men;

Come I to speak at Shell’s funeral …
Shell was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But the EPA says they were ambitious;
And the EPA are all honorable men….

I speak not to disprove what the EPA has spoken,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love Shell once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then to mourn them now?
O judgement! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason…. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin with Shell Oil,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

Shakespeare was able to turn the word honorable around to mean dishonorable; hope he forgives my abuse of his masterfully written speech. I couldn’t resist; my apologies to one and all for taking liberties with classic literature. (Attention Mrs. Spain and Mrs. Streusand; high school English teachers who thought I never listened.)

We promised them an opportunity to drill for oil, took their money and pulled the rug out from under them; isn’t that fraud by definition? I’d say the EPA and the U.S. government owes Shell Oil at least 6 billion dollars, plus interest. And we can be assured that debt will be paid as we’re represented by honorable men, are we not?

It says a lot about the validity of our word as a nation, “if our lips are moving, we’re lying.” China had better get used to the idea of holding an empty sack if they plan to collect any debts from this bunch of “honorable men” who represent our country.

George Soros: Managed Dollar Decline, New World Order

In this video George Soros talks about the new World Order and the “managed” “slow decline” of the US dollar. He wants a “world currency,” no doubt on the manner of the Euro, which has failed miserably. The thing to keep in mind is, this insider-trading, power-lusting, bank-breaking, media-manipulator, communist George Soros, has the full faith and confidence of Barack Obama. The new moniker for Soros is “spooky dude.” Obama is the real scary dude.

Soros is credited with saying this in 1993:

‘It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out,’”

He is the founder of the Open Society Institute. Think about that name. It means advocating for “transnationalism.” The U.N.’s Millenium Development Goal (UNMDG) wants human rights standards to respect the “global principle of freedom of circulation for all.”

From Transnationalism: What it Means for America:

In short, the U.N. defines transnationalism as a type of globalization that is, this minute, turning the world into a “global village.” That “global village” will give back control of “peace, equity, social justice, democracy and human rights,” to the people. The U.N.’s vision of globalization is one that makes all industry, throughout the world “work for the benefit of everyone to eradicate poverty and hunger globally…”

The U.N. MDG says this:

This can happen only if global corporations, international financial and trade institutions and Governments are subject to effective democratic control by the people…”

The following is one way to do it. From the U.N. Millenium Development Goal (read text here):

The MDG says this can be done by initiating a worldwide freeze on armed forces – prohibitions of the use of force…move towards the abolition of war and…the UN Secretariat and interested Governments, or a separate group of Governments, should develop a draft proposal for global disarmament.

By adopting the Millennium goals in 2000, the U.N. escalated its demands to impose international taxes. Specifically, the Millennium called for a “currency transfer tax,” a “tax on the rental value of land and natural resources,” a “royalty on worldwide fossil energy projection — oil, natural gas, coal,” “fees for the commercial use of the oceans, fees for airplane use of the skies, fees for use of the electromagnetic spectrum, fees on foreign exchange transactions, and a tax on the carbon content of fuels.”

That is how a World Order comes about. Soros sits on a U.N. climate panel (I’m assuming a sub-panel to the IPCC – The Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change):

“The 21-member United Nations panel included Lawrence H. Summers, the White House’s departing national economics adviser; the billionaire financier George Soros; Ernesto Cordero Arroyo, the finance minister of Mexico; and Christine Lagarde, the French economic minister,” the Times reports.

That’s right, the same George Soros who has railed against American independence and sovereignty is now organizing a massive wealth transfer to third world countries in the name of environmentalism.

The headline should read: George Soros Led United Nations Panel Organizes $100 Billion Anti-U.S. Shakedown Effort. But that it does not should surprise none.

The New World Order will depend on taxing fossile fuels, natural gas, even the air air space our air travel uses – all of which the UNMDG calls for. More from Investor’s Business Daily:

My apologies if you believe I have gone off-topic the discussion of the UNMDG, but the truth is, it is all being cooked in the same pot.

So exactly what is it that George Soros is trying to accomplish? Well, in a nutshell, what he wants is a Big Brother-style one world government based on extreme European-style socialism, strict population control and the radical green agenda. It would be a world where the state tightly regulates everything that we do for the greater benefit of the environment and of society as a whole.

In July 2010 Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) proposed a tax on currency trading – which echoes the UNMDG. Stark says his H.R. 5783 imposes a tax on currency transactions to be used to improve child care. Internationally, he says the bill creata s U.S. fund to assist with the impacts of global warming. Finally, it creates a Globval health trust fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Maleria, Tuberculosis, etc.

Stark says his Bill will fund Obama’s “pledge” to the U.N. (Obama’s Senate Bill 2433, which ties the U.S. to the UNMDG.)

While this cannot happen overnight. The “pot has been cooking” for a very long time. We must pay attention to George Soros. He loves the camera and may be our best clue to the decline of the dollar and the New World Order, that we must defeat at all costs and in direct opposition to our president. It will be a long and painful battle – we are up against an evil world.

Obama Says will Take More than One Term to Destroy USA

As Obama and his Leninists continue to denigrate and rule over the USA and the American people, the Republican latent-integrity “go along to get along” electees — led by chief lame-pony John Boehner — continue to protect the Usurper-and-Dictator-in-Chief. After pretense upon pretense of shock as to how far the Obama syndicate has already taken the country into ruin, the wimpy “I sold my soul, how about you? And how much did you charge?” crowd of faux GOP-ers continue to vote with and for the tyrant.

The bogus budget battle was the strongest clue that the GOP joined the Marxist Party in no longer being in favor of continuing the United States of America as a free and solvent country. That which was a big disappointment at a $38.5 Billion cut in spending turned into a slap in the face when it was realized that the number had been faked and the real ‘cuts’ dropped to $14.7 in discretionary spending and some reports are that they were barely over $300 millions. In other words, no one in Congress had any intention of doing any spending cuts at all.

Our gas prices are currently over $4.00/gallon nationally and there is every indication (due to Obama’s intentions) that they will be at between $5-7.00/gallon soon. The tyrant is, also, still trying to find loopholes in order to saddle us with electric energy prices that “will necessarily skyrocket” as he promised us they would.

Obama is still convinced it will take him another term to complete his planned but, still unfulfilled chaos amidst the American public so that their lives, homes, work, God, country and all else they hold dear will be completely and utterly destroyed… with no chance of ever returning. If it were not so, we would be drilling for oil in our own country and not funding Brazil and other countries’ drilling programs. If it were not so, we would not be experiencing the worst power grab in our history by the now-rulers of what was once We-the-People’s country. And, if it was a lie, we would not be losing multiple freedoms on an almost daily basis.

Prior to the 2008 general election, I wrote a column titled “Is the USA Ready for an American Stalin?” Tragically, it was far more prescient that I had thought. Each day under Obama and his go along to get along Congress brings us closer and closer to the old USSR. A USSR that had Stalin destroying food so that people would starve to death and the population would be reduced. People stood in line for hours and sometimes days for a loaf of bread. A smaller population is easier to suppress. The Russian people were virtual prisoners within the USSR and completely at the mercy of the Communist rulers who lived large and well while the people starved or froze to death. An immobile population is easier to contain.

For those of you too young to remember, the above actually happened in old Soviet Russia… the by design plan for the creation of the elite “haves” and the peasant (proletariat) “have-nots.” And, it is beginning to happen here in the United States of America. As instructed by his mentors Saul Alinsky and George Soros, Obama is working very hard every day to wipe out the middle-class in America.

Traditionally, the middle-class in the USA has been better educated and had a sizable amount of ‘disposable’ wealth. However, over the last few decades, the Left has decimated our once-model educational system and replaced it with indoctrination and ’feel-good’ non academics. And Obama has now destroyed more jobs in his first two years in office than even his dyed-in-the-wool Communist and radical Islamist supporters could have possibly dreamt. Destruction of the free market is his intention and he has already–with virtually not a peep from Congress–seized business after business under the guise of ’saving them’. Obama now plans to go after American citizens’ money and, via his Socialist agenda, plans to take over all private IRA and retirement programs. With no one in Congress sounding like even a faint whisper of a leader, we’re on our own.

Given even half a chance, Obama will destroy the USA so that it has no chance of ever returning as a free nation. It is what he was hired to do; not by us but, by others. We are being destroyed from within by treason and Obama has already completed almost ¾ of his mission. Are there any leaders out there willing to step forward to help We-the-People save their and our country and loved ones? Any?

If you haven’t already begun, now might be the right time to begin holding real survival-for-ourselves-and-our-country meetings within your neighborhoods. Planning sessions as to ‘who will do what’ in specific instances are strongly recommended. As We-the-People were in 1776, we are today… on our own.

33 Ways to Encourage Atlas to Shrug

Ayn Rand’s 1957 novel “Atlas Shrugged” is enjoying renewed popularity following the release of the new Atlas Shrugged movie. Rand’s story describes a group of American industrialists that lose patience with onerous regulation and taxation, and “shrug”–disappearing from their normal lives to relocate to a hidden valley called Galt’s Gulch. While this tale is fictional, it has some strong parallels to modern-day America. And despite the fact that Ayn Rand was an atheist and favored legalized abortion, she was a good judge of both character and the inevitable tendencies of elected governments. When I consider the regulatory and tax burdens that have been implemented in my lifetime–I was born in 1960–I believe that Rand had amazing prescience. Let’s face it: We no longer live in a free market capitalist nation. At best, it could called a “mixed” economy with statist tendencies, and verging on socialism.

Reading the news headlines in recent months has led me to believe that the Galt’s Gulch concept has a lot of merit. If The Powers That Be wanted to encourage the Atlases of the world to shrug, they couldn’t have done a better job. What is the best way to get the most productive Citizens of our nation to go on strike, and retreat to “gulches”? Consider the following “to do” list for those whom Ayn Rand called “The Destroyers”:

Reading the foregoing might have you inspired to find your own Galt’s Gulch. Although I admit a personal bias, one practical option that I can suggest is the American Redoubt. (I’m the originator of the plan.) The Redoubt region is inside of the continental United States, so moving there is much more realistic than moving offshore–at least for most of us.

Many folks are now ready to vote with their feet. Atlas is starting to shrug.

A Mideast Devoid of Christians

This is the goal of the Muslim world. In every Muslim nation there is an official systematic policy to destroy every Christian church, community, life in order to free themselves of the blight they see within their midst. This isn’t a new phenomena in these countries, they rid themselves of Jews decades ago.

This is the saddest Easter in the long epic of Arab Christianity: The cross is near extinction in the lands of it origin. The much-vaunted diversity of the Middle East is going to be reduced to the flat monotony of a single religion, Islam, and to a handful of languages.

In 1919, the Egyptian revolution adopted a green flag with the crescent and the cross. Both Muslims and Christians participated in the nationalist revolution against British colonialism. Now, according to the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights, more than 70 Christians a week are asking to leave the country due to Islamist threats.

The numbers are telling. Today there is only one Middle Eastern country where the number of Christians has grown: Israel. As documented in the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, the Christian community that numbered 34,000 people in 1949 is now 163,000-strong, and will reach 187,000 in 2020.

In the rest of the Middle East, the drive for Islamic purity is going to banish all traces of pre-Islamic pasts. This has affected not only Christians, but other non-Islamic communities too, such as the Zoroastrians and Baha’is in Iran (the late also found refuge in Israel, in Haifa.)

The silence of the global forums, the flawed conscience of human rights groups, the self-denial of the media and the Vatican’s appeasement is helping facilitate this Islamist campaign. According to a report on religious freedom compiled by the US Department of State, the number of Christians in Turkey declined from two million to 85,000; in Lebanon they have gone from 55% to 35% of the population; in Syria, from half the population they have been reduced to 4%; in Jordan, from 18% to 2%. In Iraq, they will be exterminated.

Should the exodus of Christians from Bethlehem continue in the next two or three decades, there may be no clergy left to conduct religious services in Jesus’ birthplace. In Iran, Christians have become virtually non-existent since 1979, when Khomeini ordered the immediate closure of all Christian schools. In Gaza, the 3,000 who remain are subjected to persecution. In Sudan, Christians in the South are forced into slavery.

In Lebanon, the Maronites, the only Christians to have held political power in the modern Arab world, have been reduced to a minority because of Muslim violence and Hezbollah’s rise. In Saudi Arabia, Christians have been beaten or tortured by religious police. Benjamin Sleiman, archbishop of Baghdad, is talking about “the extinction of Christianity in the Middle East.”

The Christian Egypt was symbolically represented by former United Nations Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, a Christian married to a Jewish woman whose sister was the wife of Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban. In 1977, Boutros-Ghali, who was then Egypt’s foreign minister, accompanied President Anwar Sadat to Jerusalem.

Sadat, who as a child had attended a Christian school, was killed because the treaty his signed with the “Zionists,” among other reasons, and his cold peace is now under attack from the new rulers in Cairo.

In 1948, the Middle East was cleansed of its ancient Jews. Today is the Christians’ turn. Just as Islamist totalitarians have ruthlessly persecuted Christians in the Middle East, they have been waging war for the past 63 years to destroy the Jewish state in their midst. That’s why the fate of Israel is intertwined with the fate of the non-Muslim minorities.

Should the Islamists prevail, the Middle East will be completely green, the colour of Islam. Under atomic and Islamist existential threats, the remnant of the Jewish people risks being liquidated before Israel’s centennial in 2048. It’s time for Christians to recognize that Israel’s survival is also critical and vital for them. During the Holocaust, when most Christians were bystanders or collaborators, the Yellow Star was a symbol of death for the Jews. Today, the white flag with the beautiful six pointed star is a symbol of survival and hope for both Jews and Christians.

I wrote in 2008 that the PA is planning to turn the Church of the Nativity into a Mosque. It is only a matter of time until there are almost no Christians in Bethlehem. Then the PA can evict the Nuns, Priests and Brother who reside at the church (Their usefulness as mouth pieces will be done.), and then loot the place and rework it into a Mosque.

It is not as if Muslims have any respect for the Holy sites of other people. The desecration of Joseph’s Tomb or the Statues of Buddha is the best example of what will happen to every Christian holy site that falls under the sway of these madmen.

Why is it the Christian churches for the most part, are silent on this? Only a few will cry out for their persecuted brethren. What is scaring them into silence?

The silence of the Christian world is deafening. Especially to those communities who are being erased from the lands they lived in since way before Mohammad was born.
