“GOP Immigration Plan Devised by Communist Party”

New Zeal

By James Simpson World Net Daily

The U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” immigration-reform plan, as well as a strikingly similar plan now being backed by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and a bi-partisan House “Gang,” both offer the “roadmap to citizenship” originally conceived and carefully developed by members of the Communist Party USA working within the Democratic Party and the radical left activist network for the purpose of using amnestied illegals to build a “permanent progressive majority.”

That is the inescapable conclusion readers will draw after reading the forthcoming book by acclaimed researcher and blogger Trevor Loudon, titled “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress.” Although not yet published, Loudon agreed to allow WND readers to preview one chapter, titled “Latino Immigrants: Tools to Ensure a ‘Governing Coalition’ for the Left.”

In the book, Loudon exhaustively documents the Left’s longtime agenda regarding illegal aliens and how its activists have gone about implementing it. He provides irrefutable proof that the entire immigration-reform movement was the brainchild of American communists and that their goal has long been to establish unchallengeable political supremacy.

According to Loudon, the Communist Party USA has influenced U.S. policy toward illegals since at least the 1960s. He traces the history, showing how communists and communist-founded organizations slowly built the movement from the ground up. While other groups certainly joined the effort, the communists were always at the center.

For example, he tells the story of CPUSA member Bert Corona, the “Communist Father of the ‘Immigrants Rights’ movement.” In 1964, Corona, Cesar Chavez and future Democratic Socialists of America member Dolores Huerta forced Congress to end the guest worker “Bracero” program. Later, Corona sought ways to address “problems confronting Mexicans in the United States who had no visas or citizenship documents” – in other words, illegal aliens – including “how to defend persons detained by immigration authorities and how to help immigrants acquire disability and unemployment insurance and welfare.”

Along the way, Corona founded and/or led numerous organizations, such as the Mexican American Political Association, or MAPA, Centro de Action Social Autonoma, or CASA, and La Hermandad Mexicana Nacional (the National Mexican Brotherhood), all influential in the “immigrant rights” movement. The Communist Party still has strong influence in MAPA, which acts as a king-maker for Democratic Party candidates in the Los Angeles area.

Antonio Villaraigosa, former Los Angeles mayor and 2012 chairman of the Democratic National Convention, got his start with CASA. He was also a former member of the Communist Venceremos Brigades and worked with the Brigades in Cuba. As mayor of Los Angeles, he was “the most pro-illegal immigrant mayor the city has ever seen.”

Lorenzo Torrez, a long-time organizer of the Arizona Communist Party, paved the way for Communist-backed Congressmen Ed Pastor and Raul Grijalva to win congressional seats in Arizona. He organized opposition to Southwestern states attempting to prevent illegal immigration and also helped change voting patterns across the entire region.

Loudon’s book identifies many influential communist and socialist politicians holding positions of influence in Congress and state and local governing bodies. For example, Rep. Judy Chu, D.-Calif., writes Loudon, has “a thirty-year history with the now defunct pro-China Communist Workers Party (CWP) and its surviving networks.” Chu is an advocate for “progressive” immigration reform and was a co-sponsor of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill introduced by Rep. Luis Gutierrez in 2010. In 2012, Chu served as co-chair of President Obama’s reelection campaign.

Today’s Communist Party USA cites the current amnesty effort as its top legislative priority. Its official position is virtually indistinguishable from that of the Democratic Party:

As Congress begins to draft legislation, immigrant rights groups and the labor movement including the AFL-CIO and its constituent organizations, SEIU, Change to Win, and many faith-based groups are mobilizing for comprehensive immigration reform with legalization, a path to citizenship and workers’ rights …

This legislative and political battle is also at the top of the agenda of the Communist Party USA and Young Communist League. Our program includes stopping deportations now as legislation is being adopted, and calling for legalization with a clear and speedy road map to citizenship for all 11 million. Future workers who come should have the same opportunity.

But it was left to Eliseo Medina to let the cat out of the bag. Medina, writes Loudon, “is both the country’s most influential ‘immigration reform’ activist and a Marxist. He is an Honorary Chair of Democratic Socialists of America”:

Medina learned voting strategies from Fred Ross, a Saul Alinsky-trained activist and the brains behind Cesar Chavez. Ross was to eventually have an impact on the national stage. Fred Ross conceived the voter outreach strategy that not only elected Communist Party affiliate Ed Roybal as Los Angeles’ first Latino Council member in 1949, but also laid the groundwork for the Obama campaign’s Latino voter outreach campaign in 2008 …

Medina worked hand in hand with UNITE HERE President John Wilhelm, to change AFL-CIO immigration policy at the 1999 Los Angeles Convention. Then, claiming U.S. immigration policy is “broken and needs to be fixed,” the AFL-CIO on February 16, 2000, called for a new amnesty for millions of undocumented workers and the repeal of the 1986 law that criminalized hiring them …

According to the SEIU website, Medina has played the leading role in uniting Change to Win and AFL-CIO behind the immigration reform movement …

In 2009, Medina said, “We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if we have, even the same ratio, two out of three? If we have eight million new voters … We will be creating a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle …”

Republican support

But why would Republicans get behind such a plan? Some astute political observers advise that when politicians appear to be promoting agendas against their own interest, follow the money. As Center for Immigration Studies Executive Director Mark Krikorian put it, “It’s no surprise that the Republicans supporting this thing are the ones with ties to the Chamber of Commerce, not ordinary voters.”

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham and others have also stuffed the Senate bill with special perks for their backers – in Graham’s case, a provision granting more visas to workers for South Carolina’s meat industry. Rubio supposedly sought an amendment to assist Florida’s cruise-ship industry although he insists this is untrue.

But even if big business benefits, the cheap labor advantages are only temporary. Once illegal aliens are fully legalized, businesses will be required to provide just as much in pay and benefits as they pay American workers. In the meantime, however, it is widely assumed those workers will take jobs from American citizens, depress wages and increase unemployment. Moreover, in many key swing states, projected amnesties will swamp the rolls of the unemployed (see table).

Proposed Senate legislation delays full citizenship for 13 years, but if a bill passes, follow-on legislation is expected to accelerate that timeframe.

However, it is not even necessary for illegal aliens to achieve citizenship to significantly impact the vote in key districts. As a recent report for Capital Research Center detailed, Democrats are already employing illegals to boost get-out-the-vote efforts among Hispanics and won a major victory in a local Arizona election in 2011. They hope this strategy will win them key swing states, especially Texas, whose electoral votes will, many calculate, provide guaranteed Democratic presidents for the foreseeable future.

House Speaker John Boehner, R.-Ohio, has made much of his intention to ignore the Senate proposal and “do our own bill.” What the House has come up with, however, is considered by most to be “Rubio Lite.”

Boehner has enlisted former Republican VP candidate Ryan to promote the House plan. Ryan and the Republicans are working with some far-left House Democrats, including Rep. Luis Gutierrez, a former member of the Marxist-Leninist Puerto Rican Socialist Party, and Xavier Becerra, both members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and both longtime amnesty activists.

In an interview following Senate passage of the Gang of Eight bill, Fox News’ Sean Hannity pounded Ryan on the issue of border security:

HANNITY: So, my sources have been telling me, Congressman, that you guys are considering a five-year temporary legal status, and then [if] the border security measure is not met in five years, that that would be revoked.

RYAN: That’s right. That’s right.

HANNITY: I don’t believe that would ever happen.

RYAN: Well, look, they can’t get – what a person would want to have, is they would come out of the shadows, they get put on probation, they pay taxes, pay fines, learning English, learning civics. If they break the terms of their probation, they can be deported. And if the border is not secure by that time, if the verification system is not up and running, they can’t get – not only does that status go away, they can’t legal permanent residence …

So, illegal aliens would be granted legal status immediately, but five years down the road, if the fence still isn’t built and e-verify still isn’t being used, then their legal status would be revoked. Given that the Department of Homeland Security is already allegedly ignoring border security –with immigration and customs agents suing their own agency for failing to enforce the law – many voters place little confidence in political promises of future enforcement.

Boehner has announced a closed-door meeting with the entire Republican caucus, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, July 10, to decide the immigration issue, a meeting Politico calls “the most important day for immigration reform.”

Although this meeting was originally requested by Rep. Steve King, R.-Iowa, to air grave concerns shared by many Republicans over this “reform,” it is unclear if this meeting was the House speaker’s answer to King or his own idea. In either case, many fear Boehner will use the meeting as a vehicle to impose the plan as though it were a done deal.

In the meantime, Senate and House opponents have been painstakingly highlighting what they consider to be glaring flaws in these proposals:

Every single border security provision in the Senate bill, including the hire of 20,000 Border Patrol agents, denying amnesty to criminals, building fences and installing surveillance devices, can be waived by the Homeland Security secretary.
Both the House and Senate proposals emphasize the path to citizenship – the centerpiece of communist efforts – while making border security both vague and secondary.
Both bills provide a $5,000 incentive for companies to hire the newly legalized illegal aliens instead of Americans, since the aliens would not be subject to the Obamacare coverage mandate.

Although politicians and the media have settled on the claim that there are 11 million illegal aliens, the actual number may well be closer to 20 million to 30 million. There were 10 million in 1996, a mere 10 years after Reagan’s amnesty, and it is doubtful only one million more have been added in the ensuing 17 years. Since 1990, Border agents have apprehended on average more than 1 million illegal aliens per year, almost all from Mexico.

When the Reagan amnesty became law, the intention was to naturalize only 1.2 million people, but the actual figure turned out to be 2.7 million. Statistics on illegal immigration have longed tended to be underestimated, sometimes vastly so.

Thus, current proposals provide a path to citizenship for as many as 20 to 30 million illegal aliens here now, plus relatives who will be brought in through chain migration and at least 75 percent of those who will come in the future – virtually endless amnesty – while efforts to secure the border are almost certain to be insufficient.

Representatives Steve King, R-Iowa; Louie Gohmert, R-Texas; Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif.; Trey Goudy, R-S.C.; Bob Goodlatte, R-Va.; and others – 70 House members in all – as well as senators Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Jeff Sessions, R-Ala.; Mike Lee, R-Utah and others have sought to highlight the dangers of this legislation, with Rep. King recently stating:

If the House passed border security and interior security and sent that over to the Senate, Harry Reid is not going to take that up. Chuck Schumer has said that citizenship has to be part of the deal. It’s not going to go to the president’s desk, so why would the House take up anything if there’s no prospect that we’re going to improve the immigration situation, just the prospect that they’re going to jam amnesty on us?

With polls showing more than two-thirds of Americans don’t believe “immigration laws would be enforced in the future if illegal aliens were given amnesty,” it is clear that passage of the current Republican-backed bill may indeed fulfill the agenda of its communist originators – the creation of a permanent Democrat voting majority, guaranteeing permanent control of the United States government by leftist progressives.

Every time I undertake a tour of the United States I appeal for some financial support. In all four of my lecture/book tours it has been generously given.

As I’m about to embark on my 5th tour in August, I’m appealing again.

I will be in the U.S. for three months promoting my new book “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress.

I’ll be speaking in more than a dozen states this trip including Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, Arizona, California and possibly others. I hope to cover most other states in two trips in 2014.

I will begin to post my confirmed appearances in a day or two.

If past tours are anything to go by, the trip will cover costs, any extra money up front will enable big savings on airfares, hotel rooms, car rentals, etc.

I want to devote the next two and a half years primarily to exposing those who want to destroy America and even more importantly, encouraging those working to save the last best hope of mankind.

Please check out How the Tea Party Can Save America and the World – a Plea from New Zealand.

I’ve put several years of my life into this work and am happy to do more. We are in a war for survival right now and its no exaggeration to say that the fate of Western Civilization hangs on what happens in America in the next few years. All of us who value liberty need to do what we can to help.

James Simpson Endorses Trevor Loudon’s “The Enemies Within”

James Simpson, Investigative Journalist and Author: Zero Hour, endorses Trevor Loudon’s new book The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress

Jim Simpson

James Simpson

Trevor Loudon is America’s foremost researcher of the Left, and he is not even American. This New Zealander, from the other side of the world, understands better than most Americans the intrinsic threat posed by America’s Left. He has exposed some of the biggest stories about America’s biggest leftist, President Obama, including revealing the “Frank” of Obama’s childhood as the Communist and Soviet agent Frank Marshall Davis, who mentored young Obama from age 10 to 18; the Communist and former “Green Jobs Czar,” Van Jones; Obama’s membership in the Communist offshoot New Party, and details of his very close relationship with America’s most notorious domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers. There are countless other examples.

Trevor’s new book The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress, names names. It exposes like none other to date the enemies within our own political infrastructure, and offers numerous examples of how they have shaped public policy. We dismiss them as the “loony left,” but this group of professional radicals has become extremely powerful, marrying ideology with a virulently parasitic greed. They enrich themselves at the public trough, becoming those same 1 percenters they so hypocritically vilify, while assisting our enemies and assiduously deconstructing America’s economy, culture and defensive capability “piece by piece, brick by brick, nail by nail” as one of their number put it.

They truly are Enemies Within, Hell bent on destroying America as we know it, in order to replace it with their nightmare Socialist vision. And as America goes, so goes the world. Call them “progressives,” “leftists,” “radicals” or even “liberals,” they are facilitators, knowing or otherwise, of the international Communist movement, which today is stronger than ever, despite the so-called “collapse” of the Soviet Union. If they succeed there will be nothing to stop this malevolent movement from metastasizing the world over, and the world will plunge into a darkness of unimaginable horrors.

Read this book, and armed with its knowledge, join us in stopping these hateful villains from destroying the world’s last hope, America, now standing literally at the abyss.

The Enemies Within” will be officially released August 20, 2013, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

However, if you are a U.S. resident, you can receive one of the very first copies hot off the press by pre-ordering through the button below.

British Government Takes A Battering On Its Human Rights Record At OSCE

By: ICLA Admin

The British Government has today been asked about its recent human rights abuses and apparent lack of respect for the rule of law and the equal enforcement thereof. The draconian measures recently used by the British Government to attempt to silence and inconvenience its political opponents has been noted and mentioned in the international forum of the OSCE. The following was submitted by the German citizens group Buergerbewegung Pax Europa.

Is British police enforcing Sharia law?

OSCE participating States have affirmed and reaffirmed on several occasions that “the rule of law is a fundamental pillar on which the protection of human rights rests.” Additionally, perpetrators must be offered compensation and victims of human rights abuses must be viewed as such by the state.

In an alarming development, British police and other authorities are increasingly involved in what appears like enforcing parts of Islamic Sharia law in Britain. While for good reasons this is not an officially declared policy, practices on the ground show that critics of Islam and mass immigration seem comprehensively targeted by unfair and discriminatory practices. Some examples:

On June 29th this year, Kevin Carroll was assaulted on the street in London, and subsequently arrested along with Tommy Robinson on charges of “obstructing police work”, despite video evidence that they had done no such thing. The basis for their arrest was probably that they sought to walk into the London borough of Tower Hamlets , which is considered a Muslim area, which might have led to unrest.

The Annotated Agenda notes:

the lack of the rule of law, by elevating the risk of arbitrary action nd impunity for human rights violations, create creates a climate of distrust and instability…”

The arrest by two British subjects walking the streets of London into a Muslim-controlled borough must be seen for what it is: an arbitrary arrest, eroding public trust in what used to be the highest regarded police force anywhere.

The English Defence League, an English citizens’ movement, had invited two American experts on Islam, Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller, to speak about the dangers of Islamization (that is, imposing Sharia law) in our societies, but were prevented from entering Britain by an open abuse of anti-terrorism laws, on the grounds that their points of view are not “conducive to the public good”.

However, as Copenhagen 1990 remarks:

“Any restriction on rights and freedoms must, in a democratic society, relate to one of the objectives of the applicable law and be strictly proportionate to the aim of that law.”

The Agenda adds that:

Recent years have seen laws passed in the OSCE participating States that aim to limit the exercise of fundamental freedoms on grounds that are per se permissible. However, the potentially disproportionate extent of restrictions thus imposed is a cause for concern.

The banning of Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer clearly constitutes a prime example of this “disproportionate extent of restrictions”.

This example of how the British government hampers peaceful civic society activity contrasts with this passage from the Annotated Agenda encouraging governments to empower civic society:

Civil society should be empowered, and should perform a watchdog function to enhance the accountability of such institutions. These efforts should extend equally to the protection of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights. It is a multifaceted process which requires efforts of different stakeholders – legislative, executive, judicial branches of government, local and regional authorities, ombudsman institutions and civil society. With regard to the role of civil society actors specifically, the OSCE participating States have underscored “the important role played by civil society […] in helping us to ensure full respect for human rights, fundamental freedoms, […] and the rule of law”.

As an example, if it were not for civic society activism, the now-famous sex grooming rings might still not have been exposed, for the authorities had turned a blind eye to them for fear of being labelled “racist”.

Further seeking to hamper the English Defence League, dozens of supporters have received bail conditions that severely limit their supposedly inalienable rights to free assembly and freedom of expression, and several have suffered arbitrary house searches. Their crimes? Dissenting from political correctness, being smeared and assaulted by left-wing extremists and radical Muslims at public events organised by the English Defence League.

In contrast, radical Muslims who seek to destroy democracy and human rights, mock the British soldiers, issue death threats against those who insult Islam, dodge British law and demand Sharia for Britain face no such harassment. Proponents of such views even enjoy lavish state support and police protection, while citizens who protest these views suffer state and non-state harassment, curtailing of their freedoms, and are given no protection, police or otherwise.

While silencing those whose points of view may trigger unrest may be convenient on the short term, this is not a sound strategy. It remains common sense that those causing unrest should be primary targets of policing, while those using their free expression to say controversial or even provocative things deserve protection, as they are merely exercising their fundamental and inalienable rights.

And precisely those fundamental rights, and the protection thereof, are fundamental to upholding a peaceful and secure society, as outlined in the Human Dimension decision, Budapest 1994:

Human rights and fundamental freedoms, the rule of law and democratic institutions are the foundations of peace and security, representing a crucial contribution to conflict prevention, within a comprehensive concept of security.

The British police, which used to be highly respected inside and outside Britain for exemplary policing, is now being mocked on Facebook for enforcing Sharia in Great Britain. The methods employed against those who criticise Islam and mass immigration, in particular letting police tell citizens what they may or may not do – right down to threatening arrest for repeating certain Twitter messages – are showing that Britain is, ever so slowly, sliding towards becoming a police state.

When people are prevented from, or punished for, seeking redress for their grievances, democracy dies.

BPE reiterates our recommendations from our previously submitted paper ”Freedom of assembly, freedom of expression: New challenges in Western Europe”, www.osce.org/odihr/97091

Specifically, we call upon the British authorities to:

– Let an independent party investigate the legality of the June 29th arrests.

– Ensure that peaceful public assemblies can take place without fear of violence and obstruction.

– Repeal the entry bans issued to Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller.

– Undertake an investigation to find whether political decisions have influenced British policing,

also in view of the Helsinki Final Act and the 1994 Budapest reaffirmation.

– Make it clear that in Britain, only British law applies, not Sharia or any other foreign law.

Percy Sutton: Pro-Communist Obama Enabler, Holder Mentor

By: Trevor Loudon
New Zeal

Percy Sutton

Percy Sutton

At Harlem identity Percy Sutton‘s funeral in January 2010, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder eulogized the man often described as one of his mentors.

Speaking to the people gathered in the church’s pews, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder called Sutton “one of the nation’s true heroes.”

“I admired, respected and worked for him,” Holder said of Sutton, who died on December 26, 2009 in Manhattan at the age of 89. “The opportunities given to my generation were paid for by his… Without him, there would be no me.”

Holder, a native New Yorker, continued, saying, “Generations of other African American lawyers stand on his strong, broad shoulders.”

He then read a statement from President Barack Obama, who called Sutton’s death “an enormous loss.”

“Percy’s passion for justice began at an early age and never wavered,” Obama said in a statement, recounting an incident when Sutton was beaten at age 13 for passing out NAACP leaflets in a white neighborhood. “It was an experience that gave him strength and determination to stand up for what he believed in.”

Both men, Obama and Holder, indeed owe a debt to Percy Sutton. Holder, a young black radical who put on a suit and tie to penetrate the establishment, no doubt owed Sutton for advice. After all, Sutton had tread the same path.

Obama owed Sutton at least partially for the education, without which he almost certainly never would have risen to the heights he has.

In a televised interview in 2008 on New York’s all news cable channel, NY1, Percy Sutton, a former borough president of Manhattan and a credible mayoral candidate in 1977, made some interesting revelations about his links to the young Obama.

Sutton told NY1 reporter Dominic Carter on the show “Inside City Hall”: “I was introduced to (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him.” He asked Sutton to write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard Law School.

Khalid al-Mansour

Khalid al-Mansour

“The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, (formerly Donald Warden, mentor of Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his associate, Bobby Seale) from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.” The man Al-Mansour was referring to was Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

Sutton recalled that al-Mansour said that “there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?” Sutton did.

The story is given credibility by a November 1979 column by Chicago Tribune columnist Vernon Jarrett with the title: “Will Arabs Back Ties To Blacks With Cash?”

The late Vernon Jarrett was the father-in-law of Valerie Jarrett, who would go on to become Barack Obama’s closest friend and White House adviser. Mr. Jarrett was was a former Chicago communist and a colleague of Frank Marshall Davis, the former Chicago journalist and Communist Party activist who moved to Hawaii in the late 1940s and years later befriended Stanley and Madelyn Dunham and their daughter Stanley Ann, mother of Barack Obama.

Davis is known to have taken an active role in the rearing of young Obama from the age of 10 until he turned 18 and left Hawaii for his first year at Occidental College in Los Angeles in 1979. That was the same year al-Mansour was seeking Arab financial support for students such as Obama.

Vernon Jarrett’s column details how al-Mansour told him about a proposal he made to OPEC Secretary-General Rene Ortiz regarding a program to spend “$20 million per year for 10 years to aid 10,000 minority students each year, including blacks, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians and native Americans.”

These minority students would then migrate through the political system promoting Palestinian and radical Islamist causes. Al-Mansour told Jarrett that the program had been endorsed by Ortiz and other OPEC administrators.

The Obama/Frank Marshall Davis connection was first revealed during an event at the Tamiment Library in New York where the archives of the Communist Party USA were put on display. These remarks were delivered by Communist Party connected historian Gerald Horne (then publicized by this writer) on March 23, 2007.

Interestingly, Sutton’s own communist connections were revealed also at the Tamiment Library at an October 28, 2006 event entitled: “James and Esther Jackson, the American Left and the Origins of the Modern Civil Rights Movement.”

Three panels of academics and activists delivered papers illuminating the lives of Black Communist Party leaders James Jackson and his wife Esther Jackson, “their co-workers and the struggles in which they participated that helped shape developments in the United States from the late 1930s to the present.”

Though New York based, the Jacksons spent much of their youth agitating among Black communities in the South, including with several well known Civil rights activists such as Rosa Parks of “Montgomery Bus Boycott” fame.

James and Esther James and Esther Jackson with fellow communist W. E. B. DuBois

James and Esther Jackson with fellow communist W.E.B. DuBois

Communists, or former communists, Angela Davis, Pete Seeger, Maurice Jackson and Charlene Mitchell delivered papers and spoke at the event. Communist Party leaders Sam Webb, Debbie Amis Bell and Daniel Rubin were also among the attendees.

Percy Sutton also gave a paper on the Jacksons:

Percy Sutton, former Manhattan borough president, took the floor and spoke of his long association with and appreciation of the Jacksons. This began in Texas where Sutton grew up in a family of 12, half of whom became Communists.

It wasn’t revealed which half of the family Percy Sutton belonged to, but his future activities are certainly a strong indication.

Before he became a Manhattan businessman and politician, Sutton was a Tuskegee Airman and intelligence officer during World War II, a man “pushed north by the Jim Crow diaspora, a civil rights activist jailed in the prisons of the South and a lawyer to Malcolm X”.

After moving to New York, Sutton became a “grandee in the most sophisticated and influential black political club in New York City.”

He also became a millionaire, owner of what were at one time the city’s two most influential black radio stations, the WBLS hit-maker on FM (107.5) and the “intensely, incessantly political,” WLIB (1190 AM).

While a rising star in Democratic Party politics in Harlem, Percy Sutton never forgot his far left roots.

Sutton was among the first voices raised against the Vietnam War, surrendering his delegate’s seat at the 1968 Democratic convention in protest and supporting anti-war candidate George McGovern four years later against incumbent President Richard Nixon.

On April 16, 1975, Percy Sutton, Manhattan Borough president, was on the Current List of Sponsors of the Communist Party front National Coalition to Fight Inflation and Unemployment.

A brochure announcing a National Conference for a Drastic Cutback in Military Spending, to be held on April 5-6, 1975, at the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago, was printed by the National Conference on military Spending Organizing Committee Military Spending Organizing Committee, of 156 Fifth Avenue, Room 716, NYC, NY, 10010. The printing bug was that of the Communist Party’s Prompt Press, 209.

Sponsors of the event included Percy E. Sutton, Manhattan Borough President.

Future New York Mayor David Dinkins rose through the Democratic Party organization in Harlem and became part of an influential group of Black politicians who included Basil Paterson, Denny Farrell, Charles Rangel and Percy Sutton. This tight knit group was to dominate Harlem politics for decades.

Of the five, David Dinkins and Denny Farrell, a prominent New York state legislator, were long time members of the U.S.’s largest Marxist organization Democratic Socialists off America.

Basil Paterson was a founding member of the National Conference of Black Lawyers, a far left group, self-described as the “legal arm of the black revolution” and directly affiliated with the Soviet front International Association of Democratic Lawyers.

Basil Paterson’s son David Paterson, who was briefly Governor of New York, is a veteran of events such as the 1985 “Conference on Socialism and Activism” and a 1998 Communist Party sponsored event celebrating the centennial of the birth of Communist Party member Paul Robeson – who reportedly advised his friend and comrade Frank Marshall Davis to move to Hawaii.

Charles Rangel, a long serving Democratic Congressman, was also a founding member of the National Conference of Black Lawyers. He has a history of supporting Communist Party causes going back decades and in the 1970s and was associated with the Soviet front World Peace Council.

There has obviously been a long term program by pro-Soviet communists to promote sympathetic politicians to positions of power in the Democratic Party.

Percy Sutton was clearly connected to that program and possibly to a similar, possibly interrelated program run by Saudi/Islamic interests. Both the Soviets/Russians and the Saudis have long both supported the anti-Israel, pro-Palestine cause, so Saudi/Soviet cooperation in attempting to influence U.S. politics would not be improbable.

Percy Sutton’s role in the rise of both Barack Obama and Eric Holder deserves much deeper scrutiny.

Jackson Mississippi Mayor Chokwe Lumumba: Revolutionary Speech From 1998

By: Trevor Loudon

Chokwe Lumumba

Chokwe Lumumba

Anyone who doubts that Jackson, Mississippi’s new Mayor Chokwe Lumumba remains a committed Marxist revolutionary should check out the video below.

Recorded in 1998 in Washington D.C., comrade Lumumba lectures members of the terrorist Black Liberation Army on the need to free black “political prisoners” in the U.S.

Lumumba names convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal as one of those in need of “liberation.” He also lists several members of the Black Liberation Army, including another convicted cop murderer, Assata Shakur, now hiding out in communist Cuba. Lumumba was Shakur’s lawyer.

Lumumba praises Marxist dictators Fidel Castro of Cuba and Kwane Nkrumah of Ghana, as former political prisoners made good. He also makes it very clear that he despises American “imperialism.”
