Political Reality

Have you visited your church’s web site lately? When you do, you should look for wording such as ‘social justice,’ ‘progressive,’ ‘diversity,’ and a whole host of other warm and fuzzy terms that are currently being used to help fold different religions into the Progressive/Communist movement. This is widespread and can be found all over the place. Take an evening and surf Bing or Google and just look at religious web sites and search for some of these terms. It will be an instructive evening, I assure you; if not downright horrifying…
Then, make sure you read New Zeal’s latest work:
Meet the Communist Party USA’s “Men of Faith”
Trevor really lays out the agenda and the construct of the Communist Religion Commission. Very sobering:
Not content with workers, “people of color”, youth, greenies, gays and the generally disgruntled, the reds are coming after Christians, Jews, Buddhists and Muslims.
The Communist Party USA has re-founded its Religion Commission as it seeks to bring more churches and “people of faith” into the “progressive” fold.
This is a classic tactic that has been used by every tyrant known throughout history. If you can control the masses through their religion, you can rule the world. And once you rule the world, well then, you either outlaw religion entirely or form a very vanilla religion that everyone must belong and adhere to. Almost sounds like something out of Revelations huh?
Hitler was a big fan of religion and the occult. He used it as an effective tool and weapon. Stalin was a solid Communist and only believed in Atheism – to be religious in Russia at that time was to face a death sentence. Religion was considered to be the opiate of the masses and Stalin wanted it entirely removed.
The Communists in America don’t seek to learn from the religious. They seek to “guide” them.
It must be a task of Communists who are active in faith communities to bring to people an awareness of the progressive values and potential inherent in their traditions and to lead them to turn that awareness into action that will challenge both the members and leaders of their religious communities and the larger society.
Because, after all, the idiot masses need guidance and direction and only the elitists can provide it.
Even though it seems impossible, there is a Christian movement within the American Communist Party. Headed by two Christians, Tim Yeager and Pierre Williams (both Christians and both Communists), the Communist Party is actively recruiting people from all religions. Pierre Williams and Tim Wheeler as activists both campaigned for Barack Obama in South Carolina. Pierre serves as Secretary of the Communist Party USA Religion Commission.
Remember history and how the Communists have viewed religion in the past. Don’t fall for soft whispers and kind words that are hidden in plain sight to conceal a murderous and fascist agenda. Communist wolves in Christian clothing indeed…

David Walker. Gerald Celente. Thomas Hoenig. Glenn Beck. Ask them and they’ll tell you we are in for some very difficult times. Tighten your belts, pay off as many bills as you can. Stock up on food and gold and ammo. Here’s Glenn, this morning on his radio show (who repeated it again on his TV program later Tuesday).
I had dinner last night with one of the richest men in the world who shall remain nameless. It was one of the most depressing dinners I’ve ever had. I wish I could, I wish I could share it with you. Come on, who wants to get onto the misery boat? Come on, everybody! It was one of the most depressing dinners I’ve ever had.
This isn’t a guy that this is not a political guy and I don’t I think, I didn’t ask him but I think he wouldn’t have been voting for anybody that I voted for in the last 20 years. He’s just beginning to really wake up. He doesn’t really even watch the show. He barely knew who I was.
I spent I, like, got there at 7:00. When I looked at my watch, it was 10:30 and we were still sitting around the table and having a discussion. He said to me, ‘it’s over, I mean, it’s just over’. He said, ‘I don’t care’.
This is a Rockefeller, if you will, the Rockefeller of our day. I said my kids are going to be taken care of. I got my money. They are taxing the rich. They are not taxing me.
He said, ‘you know, the businesses that I’ve created, they’re going to suffer, the people are going to suffer’. He said, ‘but I don’t see an out here’.
Nobody will tell the hard truth. Nobody will say to the American people what’s coming and what has to happen.
And what has to happen is tax cuts and spending cuts. Even Reagan, as he pointed out, didn’t do that. They don’t talk to you about that. They won’t talk to you about spending cuts.
He said we have massive issues. He thinks maybe we have a year.
My deep throat says same thing. My gut tells me same thing. We must, must, must prepare ourselves and immerse ourselves in things that are real.
I asked him, I said, so, you know, how do you preserve any kind of wealth? He said, ‘I don’t know. I’ve been trying to figure that one out’. I said, well, what does the average person do? ‘I don’t know. I’m trying to figure that one out’.
I said, well, my suggestion has been that people should, like June in 1935. He looked at me across the table and said, ‘I think you’re right. Education and putting yourself in a position to where you are not dependent on anyone’.
The world’s about to change, gang, world’s about to change and it could go one of two ways. We have to unite and be a positive force.
Tighten your belts, pay off your bills. Stock up on food and gold. And ammo.

In light of the challenges facing the country and the need for clarity in the age of Obama, The Mount Vernon Statement, modeled on the Sharon Statement issued on Sept. 11, 1960, is a defining statement of conservative beliefs, values and principles penned by a broad coalition of conservative leaders representing a wide spectrum of the movement including fiscal, social, cultural and national security conservatives.
We recommit ourselves to the ideas of the American Founding. Through the Constitution, the Founders created an enduring framework of limited government based on the rule of law. They sought to secure national independence, provide for economic opportunity, establish true religious liberty and maintain a flourishing society of republican self-government.
These principles define us as a country and inspire us as a people. They are responsible for a prosperous, just nation unlike any other in the world. They are our highest achievements, serving not only as powerful beacons to all who strive for freedom and seek self-government, but as warnings to tyrants and despots everywhere.
Each one of these founding ideas is presently under sustained attack. In recent decades, America’s principles have been undermined and redefined in our culture, our universities and our politics. The selfevident truths of 1776 have been supplanted by the notion that no such truths exist. The federal government today ignores the limits of the Constitution, which is increasingly dismissed as obsolete and irrelevant.
Some insist that America must change, cast off the old and put on the new. But where would this lead — forward or backward, up or down? Isn’t this idea of change an empty promise or even a dangerous deception?
The change we urgently need, a change consistent with the American ideal, is not movement away from but toward our founding principles. At this important time, we need a restatement of Constitutional conservatism grounded in the priceless principle of ordered liberty articulated in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
The conservatism of the Declaration asserts self-evident truths based on the laws of nature and nature’s God. It defends life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It traces authority to the consent of the governed. It recognizes man’s self-interest but also his capacity for virtue.
The conservatism of the Constitution limits government’s powers but ensures that government performs its proper job effectively. It refines popular will through the filter of representation. It provides checks and balances through the several branches of government and a federal republic.
A Constitutional conservatism unites all conservatives through the natural fusion provided by American principles. It reminds economic conservatives that morality is essential to limited government, social conservatives that unlimited government is a threat to moral self-government, and national security conservatives that energetic but responsible government is the key to America’s safety and leadership role in the world.
A Constitutional conservatism based on first principles provides the framework for a consistent and meaningful policy agenda.
If we are to succeed in the critical political and policy battles ahead, we must be certain of our purpose.
We must begin by retaking and resolutely defending the high ground of America’s founding principles.

Greetings Fellow Patriots,
There is a lot going on inside of DC that you should be aware of so you know how important it is to take action. If you do not want to read all of the details, but only want the ACTION STEPS, then scroll down or click here. You can also read this alert online if you prefer.
Last week on Super Bowl Sunday, President Obama, made an announcement on national TV that he would be inviting both the Republican and Democrat leadership to the Blair House in the next several weeks in an effort to work on a bipartisan solution for health care reform. The President promised that these negotiations would be televised. While citizens across the country have been calling for transparent negotiations for months, there is much concern that this is a “dog and pony show” being sponsored by the White House, and there will be no real bipartisan negotiations. The fear is that the President, Madame Pelosi, and Senator Reid are only going to work with the bills that have already been passed by the House and the Senate. There is also the fear that this is just political theater to distract from some sort of behind closed doors negotiation. The bottom line is that we cannot let up now!
The American people do not want the legislation that has been proposed by either of these bodies. The American people want to start from the beginning with a blank sheet of paper. Representative Tom Price (GA) asked to start with a blank sheet of paper earlier this week. Leader John Boehner (OH) issued a statement asking for the same thing. Will the President and his team of negotiators agree to start with a blank sheet of paper? According to Madame Pelosi’s senior health care advisor, this is not the plan at all. In fact, the Republicans and the American people are being set up and this “dog and pony” show is a trap!
This past week, Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) appeared on Fox News and talked about his personal “CPR” plan that he is proposing. The basis of the plan is a mandate for anyone over 18 years of age to have insurance. Where has Senator Gregg been the past several months? Does he have a sweetheart lobbying job awaiting him when he completes his term? Why on earth would this Senator not stand up and represent what the American people want? Does he not know that 61% of the American people want Congress to completely start over on health care negotiations?
It appears that Washington, DC is just not getting the message! This health care summit is nothing more than a PR stunt! What is so scary is that there are some that are falling for this stunt. It is up to us, “We the People,” to once again, raise our voices, turn up the heat, and just say no to this stunt that is being attempted by the President and his team. It is time for the President, Madame Pelosi, and Senator Reid know that you cannot fool “We the People” anymore.
Are you willing to step back up to the plate and turn on the heat again? This past Tuesday, Organizing for America announced (via email) that they have relaunched their Action Center in an effort to assist with the government takeover of health care. Just this morning, Organizing for America announced that their supporters have already pledged 4,000,000 hours of their time to assist in getting “real” health care reform passed.
Team, are you up for a challenge? We must work just as hard, if not harder, to stop this government takeover of health care! If you are willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with the rest of us, you can do the following to stop this government takeover of health care:
1. Sign the Petition demanding that the Republicans stand firm and not make any concessions. Please forward to family, colleagues, neighbors, and friends to sign. There is power in numbers and we all need to stand strong together.
2. Contact the Senators listed at the bottom of this email to let them know that you expect them to stand firm and not make any concessions on a government takeover of health care. If you are not their constituent, you should tell them that their vote represents the American people, as well as their constituents, and you expect them to listen to and represent the American people.
3. Contact the Republican Leadership and let them know that we are watching and waiting. We expect every single member of the Republican party to stand on principles and values, while representing the American people.
The Republican Leadership in the House is committed to stand firm and wants to start from scratch. We need to support their efforts and let them know we are standing behind them. We should thank them for listening to the American people.
Congressman John Boehner
Congressman Eric Cantor
Congressman Mike Pence
We are not hearing the same things come from the Republican Leadership in the Senate. We need to contact the Republican Leadership in the Senate and let them know what we expect from them. They need to know that we expect all Republicans to insist that all negotiations start over with a blank sheet of paper.
Senator Mitch McConnell
Senator Jon Kyl
We all thought this this health care legislation was dead after the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts because he was the 41st vote. Well, not so fast. He is the 41st vote only if all of the other Republicans in Washington stand firm and do not cave or make any concessions.
We must make it clear to ALL of our elected officials that we want NO part of the Senate or House bills to be proposed or accepted. The American people want these bills rejected and to start over with a clean slate. We will accept nothing less.
This is a critical time! We have been so successful in stopping this legislation. We must continue to stand strong and have our voices heard. Your fellow Patriots are counting on you to stand with us now. We must not be weak, but stringer than ever before.
Thank you for standing with us shoulder to shoulder!

ACTION STEPS
1. Sign the Petition
2. Contact the SENATORS listed below.
3. Contact the REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP listed below.
SENATORS to Contact:
We have made this easy for you. We have broken the country into five regions and the 10 Senators into five groups. Each day, you call and email the group of Senators that is assigned to your region of the country for that day. This way, all 10 Senators will have a constant barrage of calls and emails all week. We need to make sure they feel the pressure daily. They need to know we are watching and waiting.
All of the contact information is listed below the chart. It has been highly recommended that we target their local district offices when calling, as they are not used to getting pressure like the DC offices.
Of course, you can always do more and call more than just the one group assigned to your region that day! If you want to call more, I would suggest calling and emailing the Senators with an asterisk next to their name, as they are the ones that are up for reelection in 2010.
When contacting these Senators, let them know that you expect them to stand firm and not make any concessions on a government takeover of health care. You can refer to the petition for a list of things that we will not compromise on in these health care negotiations.
Also, please email the Chief of Staff for each Senator!

Now there is news that Glenn Beck’s show has been totally embargoed by the following companies who were advertising on British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC during the time the Glenn Beck Program was being broadcast. BSBG ran the Glenn Beck Program WITHOUT ANY paid advertisements for six days in a row as of yesterday.
Are you kidding me? Beck has been the driving force for outing the Progressive/Marxist power brokers in our government and among our media, leaders and elite… In my book, the man is on a footing with the founding fathers – a true patriot who is risking it all to help Americans take their country back.
The article can be found on the extreme radical leftist website, stopbeck.com:
Glenn Beck’s Show In UK Has Had Zero Ads Past Three Days; Update: Now 6 Days
You guys should drop by their site and tell them what you think of them. You know, tell them where Progressives can stick their agenda and how they should literally go know themselves in the biblical sense.
Beck is doing the right thing, the brave thing and the only proof you need to see is the evil actions taken against him from the left. Right Bias
For the first 39 years of my life, I was a walking, talking useful idiot. I believed without question what I saw on TV, and adopted as fact whatever I saw in the newspaper headlines.
Armed with this information, I figured I knew it all. There were no questions I couldn’t answer and no opinions I wouldn’t espouse. Especially when they were formed by others.
In my younger days, I still had respect for authority and institutions. I believed the ‘experts.’ I took their pronouncements as fact and defended them with fervor. I never doubted the premises. I truly believed that since everyone else believed that way, why, that was the correct way to think. If it was on TV or in the newspapers, it was true. That was the way things were. Absolutely.
I had the certainty of youth. Where all issues are black or white, where people were good or bad. Where no gray areas intruded to cast doubt on my wisdom. Things were ever so much clearer then.
Until age 39, I was too busy being the center of my own universe to give deep thought to any issue that didn’t affect me directly. I lived in a magical place where no analytical thinking was required. I kept abreast of other’s opinions and considered myself not only informed, but pretty darn smart.
Imagine my surprise when reality eventually intruded. When I found out that, gasp, Che was a mass-murderer, not a freedom fighter. That Kinsey was a sexual pervert and pedophile, not a scientist. That the earth wasn’t melting and that Obama wasn’t the answer to all the world’s problems. When I found out that ‘is’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘is.’
To my chagrin, I finally realized that no matter how thin the pancake, there are always two sides. And I had only been exposed to one. I was the quintessential ‘useful idiot.’
The term ‘useful idiot’ was originally coined by Russian mass-murder Lenin, referring to blind defenders and apologists for the Soviet Union in the Western democracies.
The most famous of these useful idiots was New York Times Moscow correspondent Walter Duranty. Duranty got a Pulitzer prize for his [non] reporting on Stalin’s man-made famine in the Soviet Union in the 1930’s. Duranty reported to the American people and the world that things were peachy keen in the Soviet Union, totally ignoring the fact that Stalin was starving millions of his own people. Stalin eventually killed more people than Hitler did in the Holocaust.
By proxy, Duranty turned millions of Americans into useful idiots. By reporting on what people wanted to hear instead of what was actually happening, America’s policies continued to enable Stalin’s killing spree.
Fast forward to 2010 and we see history once again repeating itself. Agenda driven, ideological reporting by the mainstream media is being accepted as fact by millions of Americans. And the powers that be are counting on increasing numbers of useful idiots to accept their premises without question. Like lemmings, blindly following their fellows into the sea.
All I feel now when I think of those days is acute embarrassment. The innocence, the naivety, the absolute certainty. Those happy days before I realized that I had been manipulated into accepting and promoting someone else’s agenda.
I had been treated as fodder in a war I wasn’t even aware was being waged. A war for the hearts and minds of American citizens. And because I had blindly parroted and regurgitated every popular consensus without question, I deserved the label of useful idiot.
Fortunately, this is not a life long condition. I am now a recovering idiot. I keep my mouth shut unless I am sure of my facts. I rely on common sense instead of the experts. And if I want to spout opinions, I make sure they are based on my own research instead of talking heads and soundbites. I also try to keep in mind that there are always two sides to every issue.
This doesn’t make me wise, but at least I am no longer an unwitting pawn in someone else’s agenda. Or a useful idiot.
