Hello everyone! Today, I will be talking about a forgotten piece of history; a voter fraud veteran’s revolt against a corrupt police state in Athens, Tennessee. This little bit of history was totally forgotten except by a few who didn’t want it known that the people have the power to take back their rights and their freedoms from a corrupt government. Remember, this was a local small-scale riot. This uprising showed that the government is rightfully fearful of its citizens and it should be by all accounts. It also shows why the current government is in a big hurry to nationalize the police forces, take all of your guns away and allow Chinese, Russian and U.N. forces on American soil to help out in their tyranny. They know if you rise up against them in an organized fashion, they would lose and their power would be lost and given back to the average American as it should be.

ELECTION DAY AUGUST 1, 1946 — ATHENS, TENNESSEE

It was a year after WWII was over and veterans all over were getting back to normal life… raising families, going to work, paying their taxes and voting. But in this small town in McMinn County, Tennessee, things were rotten. A corrupt election was about to unravel and turn messy. A local farmer named Tom Gillespie was in his district to vote when a bully sheriff yelled at him to leave. Mr. Gillespie said this was his district and the sheriff proceeded to beat this farmer and kick him out. Ballot watchers that were comprised of local ladies were offended by this man’s actions and asked him to leave. He then tried to get them kicked out. A wall of police state thugs showed up, armed with guns and black jacks (lead filled leather clubs). These guys tried to intimidate the voters and another man stood up to them. This man was Minis Wilburn, who was then beaten by Bob Hairrell. Then more violence erupted and the police and sheriffs took all the ballot boxes away and locked them in the county jail. They took three men into custody.

Picture this… you are a returning veteran and you fought the Nazis in France or the Japanese in the Pacific. You come home hoping to have peace and not worry about men in your own home town ripping you off and trying to collect power from you. Then you find this voter mess right in front of you and you have to fight once again. You have to do this in order to retrieve your friends and your freedoms from corrupt people — you have no choice, but to fight. So, with the sheriffs all hold up in their jail and not moving an inch, a crowed of 500 armed men gather to take back what’s theirs and free up the three in the jail. Gun fire ensues and these 500 veterans have the jail blocked and the 75 deputies are also barricaded inside with no where to go. The sheriff, one Pat Mansfields, threatens to kill the three men he is holding if the vets don’t give up. Then at midnight, after the sheriff calls for help, the jail phone lines are cut. But not before the Tennessee State Guard was called in.

Then at a stand still, the vets bring out the dynamite and things get explosive. The gun fire goes on until 2 AM when the sheriff demands with a final warning that they throw down their arms or he would kill the three men. The vets counter offer to turn themselves in if the sheriff resigns and hands over everything in peace. They even plan to put their hands up, but the sheriff said nuts! So, the vets threw the dynamite over the jail wall. There was more gun fire and then they freed the men. They then took the sheriff in and for a short time, the vets do town patrol and restore order. In the mean time, the sheriff resigns and a legal vote takes place where officials are sworn in.

Now do you see why all the reports of the current government speeding up the power grab, while gathering up a nationalized police force and wanting you to be disarmed is because they fear what happened in Athens would happen on a national scale? We would win and they would be dead or in prison; robbed of their ill-gotten power and money they stole from you. They fear this bit of history repeating itself. If you are paying attention and if they lose any loyalty from any law enforcement, the DHS will have a hard time manpower wise. But I suspect, not many in law enforcement or the purged military will break away on principal alone.
